Psychological Dynamics of Domestic Violence Victims: A Qualitative Study Suriyati

Abstract

This study aims to understand the psychological dynamics experienced by victims of domestic violence through a qualitative approach. By focusing on the subjective experiences of victims, this study explores how domestic violence affects the mental and emotional state of victims, as well as the coping strategies they use to survive. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with a number of victims of domestic violence, which were then thematically analysed to identify common psychological patterns. The results showed that victims of domestic violence experience various forms of psychological trauma, including fear, depression, anxiety, and a sense of worthlessness. In addition, many victims also experience internal conflict between the desire to leave a harmful relationship and a sense of emotional or economic dependence on the perpetrator. The coping strategies used by victims vary, ranging from seeking social support to using defensive mechanisms such as denial and avoidance. This study highlights the complexity of the psychological experiences of victims of domestic violence and the need for intervention approaches that are more holistic and sensitive to the psychological needs of victims. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more effective policies and services in supporting the recovery of victims of domestic violence.

Abstract

The aim of this training is to provide basic knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship and encourage students to think creatively and innovatively in designing business ideas. The focus is to provide entrepreneurship training with a focus on painting to class VIII C students at MTs 4 Sinjai, with the aim of developing a creative and innovative spirit in a business context. The research method used is a project-based learning approach, which allows active and collaborative involvement of 23 students in the learning process. The training process includes several stages, from identifying needs and planning to implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The initial stage of training involves identifying students' needs and their potential through surveys, interviews, and discussions. After that, training planning is carried out which includes determining content, schedule and clear objectives. The results show an increase in students' understanding of entrepreneurship, painting skills, and appreciation of the economic potential of their artwork. Thus, this training succeeded in achieving its goal of developing students' creative and innovative souls for a better future. In conclusion, entrepreneurship training by making paintings makes a positive contribution to developing students' skills and preparing them to face future challenges

Abstract

Pregnancy-related anxiety is a prevalent mental condition characterized by apprehension and fear about uncertain events. Several factors contribute to anxiety in pregnant women, including Age, education, gravidity, husband's support, and spiritual self-care. This research aims to identify the influencing factors on anxiety levels in third-trimester pregnant women facing the birthing process in Bengkulu City, utilizing a cross-sectional approach. Forty-four respondents were selected through purposive sampling, and data were analyzed using the Spearman rank correlation test. The findings reveal significant relationships between Age (p-value 0.012 < 0.05), education (p-value 0.018 < 0.05), gravidity (p-value 0.026 < 0.05), husband's support (p-value 0.038 < 0.05), and spiritual self-care (p-value 0.000 < 0.05) and anxiety levels. In conclusion, Age, gravidity, education, husband's support, and spiritual self-care are associated with the anxiety levels of third-trimester pregnant women facing the birthing process in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This article was compiled to examine and describe the role of Islamic religious education teachers in dealing with changes in student morale due to the influence of technological advances at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai. This research is a qualitative research. The data collection method in this study is by summarizing the results of interviews, observation and documentation. The source of the data in this study was the PAI teacher at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai, the data used were primary data and secondary data as well as the results of previous studies that were considered relevant. After the data is collected, content analysis is carried out to get precise and accurate conclusions. The focus in this study is moral change and technological progress. The results of this study indicate that changes in student morale due to technological advances at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai experience changes in attitude/moral crisis. So that PAI teachers provide assistance, guidance and coaching by instilling religious values in students so that they have spiritual strength.

Abstract

Students' weak ability to understand learning is a common obstacle in school learning activities, so more effective learning methods are needed. This article aims to understand how to apply the demonstration method in teaching Aqidah Akhlak to improve the understanding of class XI students at MAN 1 Sinjai. The research method applied is classroom action research (PTK), which has four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were 26 students of class XI Biology at MAN 1 Sinjai. The results of this research show that using the demonstration method can improve or develop students' understanding of class XI Biology MAN 1 Sinjai on the subject of moral beliefs. Based on the evaluation results of each cycle, the scores obtained by students through observations of teacher activities can be revealed. If learning in cycle I got an average score of 74.5, then in cycle II, the average score was 88.5. Students who met the criteria Minimum Completeness with 90.33% completeness with an average score of 80.88 in the range of 81-100 is considered very high. This research implies that applying the demonstration method can increase students' understanding of learning moral beliefs and can help students understand the material better than just reading text or listening to verbal explanations.

Abstract

The study in the article can review how to implement the Ummi Method to avoid difficulties when reading and memorizing the Koran at the Hidayatul Haq Sinjai Qur'an House. The type of research used is qualitative research using a phenomenological approach and the data sources in this research are teachers (ustadz/ustazah), heads of Qur'an houses, students and other information related to this research. Collecting data was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. In analyzing this data, researchers used qualitative data analysis techniques to process raw data from the field to increase understanding of the research object. Data Presentation: At this stage, carry out analysis by summarizing the data and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are data regardin.g how the Ummi method is implemented in the Qur'an house. They consider that this method is very effective because sentences or films that are continuously given repeatedly to students will indirectly be embedded in their brains until they understand. Apart from that, this method is also easy, fun and touching, meaning that children enjoy using this method.

Abstract

This study discusses the existence of Islamic boarding school education space to become a center for children's character education. This study uses a library research type. This type of research is used to examine and summarize previously existing theories and then reveal theories related to the research title discussed in several points. The discussion points in this article are: first, the definition of Islamic boarding schools; second, the existence of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia; third, the basic concept of character education; and fourth, Islamic boarding schools as a center for character education. After conducting a more in-depth theoretical study, the results are presented. The study results show that Islamic boarding school educational institutions, namely the first Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, from their inception until now, have played an important role in shaping students' character by integrating Islamic and cultural values ​​into the learning process. Abstract

Self-confidence is a positive evaluation of oneself, including attitudes towards personal beliefs and abilities in facing life as well as a comprehensive view of oneself. Self-confidence shows a positive assessment of an individual's competence or skills. Therefore, holding a counseling guidance training for PIK M cadres to increase self-confidence. The objectives to be achieved in this research are: (1) increase cadres' understanding of self-confidence, (2) cadres can have self-confidence, (3) can solve problems experienced by cadres in terms of lack of self-confidence through counseling guidance. Researchers use the Service learning method with three stages: planning stage, implementation stage, reflection stage. The solution given is to give appreciation to the cadres, suggesting that they continue to practice, increase their reading and vocabulary. The results of this training show that the implementation was carried out from start to finish, cadres already understood what self-confidence is like, and there were several cadres who were able to prove their self-confidence by appearing to speak in public

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perspektif Haedar Nashir mengenai Muhammadiyah melalui berbagai aspek keilmuan Islam yang berkemajuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review, di mana penulis mengkaji berbagai karya tulis, artikel, dan dokumen yang relevan dengan pemikiran Haedar Nashir tentang Muhammadiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Haedar Nashir menekankan pentingnya integrasi antara nilai-nilai Islam dan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan untuk mencapai masyarakat yang berkeadaban. Selain itu, ia menggarisbawahi peran Muhammadiyah sebagai organisasi yang proaktif dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman, dengan menjunjung tinggi pendidikan, kesehatan, dan kesejahteraan sosial. Melalui analisis ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perspektif Haedar Nashir tidak hanya menyoroti relevansi Muhammadiyah dalam konteks keagamaan, tetapi juga dalam memfasilitasi kemajuan sosial dan intelektual di Indonesia. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pemikiran bagi pengembangan studi Muhammadiyah dan keilmuan Islam yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi antara ilmu agama dan ilmu sosial melalui pendekatan interdisipliner dalam konteks studi Islam. Dalam era globalisasi, tantangan yang dihadapi umat Islam semakin kompleks, memerlukan pemahaman yang holistik dan multidimensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi cara-cara di mana prinsip-prinsip agama dapat diaplikasikan dalam analisis sosial, serta bagaimana fenomena sosial dapat dipahami dalam kerangka ajaran Islam. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, studi ini menganalisis berbagai literatur yang mengaitkan kedua bidang tersebut, serta melakukan wawancara dengan sejumlah akademisi dan praktisi di bidang studi Islam dan ilmu sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ini tidak hanya memperkaya pemahaman akademis, tetapi juga memberikan solusi praktis terhadap masalah sosial yang dihadapi masyarakat Muslim. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antar-disiplin dalam menciptakan pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif dalam studi Islam, serta mendorong pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi akademisi dan praktisi dalam merumuskan strategi interdisipliner yang efektif dalam kajian Islam.
