Abstract

Market revitalization is a government effort to improve trading facilities while creating a cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable market environment. However, the success of revitalization is not solely determined by physical development but also by the environmental behavior of market users. This study aims to analyze traders’ environmental responsibility, governance obstacles in market cleanliness management, and their impact on public ecological rights in the revitalized Natar Market. This research employed a qualitative approach through field observations and in-depth interviews conducted on June 6, 2026. The findings reveal that improper waste disposal behavior remains prevalent due to limited facilities, long-standing habits among traders, and the perception that cleanliness responsibility has shifted to sanitation officers because traders already pay daily cleaning fees. In addition, limitations in infrastructure and governance support have reduced the effectiveness of waste management. These findings indicate a crisis of civic virtue, suboptimal implementation of good governance principles, and threats to the community’s right to a clean and healthy environment.

Abstract

Regulatory accountability in the family hope program (PKH) as a conditionality-based social protection instrument places the tension between procedural transparency and substantive responsiveness at the center of its governance framework. Through a qualitative approach based on policy analysis, in-depth interviews with social facilitators, and case studies in several regions, this study finds that the dominance of procedural orientation tends to produce a compliance trap, in which bureaucratic actors are more oriented toward fulfilling administrative indicators than toward actual welfare outcomes, thus necessitating a recalibration from compliance-based control logic toward result-based learning logic that enables the integration of procedural standardization and contextual flexibility. To address this issue, two alternative solutions may be considered: first, the implementation of sticker-labeling policy on the homes of benefit recipients as a visual identifier supporting transparency and distribution oversight; second, the strengthening of social assistance administrative digitalization through the optimization of the DTKS and SIKS-NG systems to accelerate verification processes, reduce data duplication, and significantly shorten the disbursement time of assistance.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the effect of instructional leadership on organizational commitment. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all public elementary school teachers in Pringsewu Regency with a total of 2,736 teachers. Sampling using cluster random sampling technique and obtained 350 samples. The data analysis technique in this study used simple regression. The research findings show that there is a positive influence of head instructional leadership on organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational commitment on the performance of public junior high school teachers in Pringsewu Regency. The research method used is quantitative with an ex post facto design and correlational method. The research population includes 822 teachers, with a sample of 274 teachers selected using Proportionated Random Sampling. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression and partial t-tests. The results showed that organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a contribution of 74.9%. These findings indicate that teachers with high commitment work more professionally, are more disciplined, and are more responsible, thereby improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

Research engagement is constrained not only by skills and resources but also by how faculty members interpret feedback, failure, and capability development. This preliminary cross-sectional survey mapped research-career mindset profiles among 32 faculty members representing five faculties at Universitas Muhammadiyah Pringsewu, a Muhammadiyah-affiliated university in Indonesia. A structured questionnaire addressed beliefs about research competence, publication challenges, academic failure, and career growth. Descriptive analysis and Wilson 95% confidence intervals were used. Three faculty members (9.4%; 95% CI: 3.2%-24.2%) were classified as fixed-mindset, seven (21.9%; 11.0%-38.8%) as growth-mindset, and 22 (68.8%; 51.4%-82.0%) as mixed-mindset. The predominance of mixed profiles indicates openness to developing research competence alongside continuing doubts about revision, rejection, and methodological demands. Rather than treating research engagement as merely a technical deficit, the findings identify a human-factors need for mentoring that combines research-skill support with strengths-based feedback, mastery experiences, and psychosocial support. The results are descriptive and cannot establish causality or psychometric validation. They provide a baseline for developing and testing a positive psychology-based research mentoring model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine senior high school students' early learning experiences, growth mindset, and academic resilience to provide baseline data for developing digital guidance services. A quantitative descriptive design was used, involving an online survey with 3,746 students. The survey included both open-ended questions to explore early learning experiences and closed-ended Likert scale questions to assess growth mindset and academic resilience. Data analysis revealed that 66.20% of students reported mixed early learning experiences, 30.25% reported positive experiences, and 3.55% reported less positive experiences. Regarding growth mindset and academic resilience, 77.95% and 83.08% of students, respectively, were categorized at moderate levels. The results indicate that while students exhibit adaptive potential, their growth mindset and coping strategies are still developing. These findings highlight the importance of understanding the factors influencing students' mindset and resilience. This study suggests the need for reflective e-guidance services to help students strengthen their growth-oriented beliefs and improve their academic resilience, providing a promising approach to supporting students' learning and development.

Abstract

Purpose: In 2015, ASEAN economic community was formed to turn the area into a single market and a competitive superior production base to make the region prosperous and stable. The how to do that is through education and applying the appropriate curriculum for industry's needs. This study analyzed and elaborated the curriculum used in vocational schools, especially in countries around ASEAN Economic Community or AEC. Research methodology: This descriptive content analysis study method was done by implementing a literature review. This literature review was to review and analyze the curriculum used in vocational education around AEC in order to fulfill the standards of AEC industry's needs. Results: This study finds that curriculum for vocational schools around ASEAN Economic Community set priority in standard skills and soft skills. Limitations: This study is limited to vocational schools, especially around ASEAN Economic Community. Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the ideal quality of inclusive early childhood education, an effective leadership style and five practices of exemplary leadership. Research methodology: This is a review article. The review process began with a search engine (Google Scholar) to search and review early childhood education and leadership articles. Results: The results suggest that it is important to hold quality inclusive early childhood educations since, in this level of education, six developmental areas are well stimulated. The key success of maintaining quality inclusive early childhood education is a collaboration among education parties (government, school, parents and community). A school needs a principal who can perform five exemplary leadership practices to help “Golden Indonesia 2045” become true. Limitations: First, the scope of articles reviewed is still very limited to the literature review in the Indonesian context. This and other limitations will be opportunities for further empirical studies about five practices of exemplary leadership in the Indonesian education area. Contribution: This study can be useful for the early childhood education level.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada pelatihan guru-guru SMK dalam mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis model inkuiri terpadu dan pendekatan saintifik. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan guru dalam mengembangkan modul yang inovatif dan memenuhi tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka serta kebutuhan siswa abad 21. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui lokakarya dan pendampingan intensif yang meliputi penyampaian materi, persiapan praktikum, simulasi penerapan, dan umpan balik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang modul pembelajaran yang kontekstual, kreatif, dan aplikatif, sehingga mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mendalam dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMK.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education depends greatly on enhancing teacher performance, which remains a persistent challenge in many schools. Several studies indicate that low motivation, limited creativity in teaching, and minimal teacher participation in decision-making continue to hinder educational progress. This review examines how the transformational leadership style of principals influences teacher performance through motivation, commitment, discipline, and the development of a positive school culture. This study used a qualitative descriptive literature review to analyze eighteen peer-reviewed publications issued between 2018 and 2024. The review process included identifying, selecting, and synthesizing research related to principal leadership and teacher performance. The findings show that transformational leadership directly improves teacher motivation, job satisfaction, and commitment to the profession. It also reveals that these effects are reinforced by mediating factors such as work discipline, intrinsic motivation, and teacher commitment. Furthermore, a supportive school culture strengthens the overall impact of leadership, creating an environment that encourages collaboration, trust, and shared goals. The results suggest that transformational leadership is a key factor in promoting teacher professionalism and the overall quality of education. Principals who act as visionary leaders, motivators, and mentors can build a culture of continuous improvement within their schools. The study recommends further empirical research using longitudinal and comparative approaches to validate these findings and explore how different leadership frameworks can be integrated to support sustainable educational excellence.
