Abstract

Community service is a manifestation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, aiming to integrate science with the real needs of society. For military educational institutions, this activity has a strategic dimension as an instrument of Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP) to realize the unity of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) with the people. This article analyzes the physical rehabilitation of the Nurul Huda Mosque in Bendo Village, Boyolali, by the Military Academy's Civil Defense Engineering Study Program. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, this community service involved collaboration between 29 personnel (lecturers, cadets, and staff) and local residents. The activity stages included planning, preparation, physical implementation (painting and ceiling installation), and sustainability evaluation. The results showed a significant improvement in the quality of worship infrastructure and the creation of social cohesion through community service. Technically, the rehabilitation successfully optimized the use of local materials and self-employed labor for budget efficiency. Sociologically, this program strengthened public trust in the TNI and shaped the character of humanistic soldiers. The study's conclusions emphasize that adequate worship infrastructure is a central hub for spiritual development and regional resilience at the village level.

Abstract

The Riau Islands area as an international border area has a high intensity of marine activities, so it is prone to various forms of law violations. The Riau Islands Marine Police (Ditpolairud Polda Kepri) as a law enforcement institution in the waters often handles cases involving foreign citizens. One of the main obstacles in the examination process is the language difference. Therefore, the assistance of an English interpreter is an important factor in speeding up and smoothing the examination process. This service activity aims to increase the capacity of interpreters and Gakkum Ditpolairud Polda Kepri personnel in supporting the effectiveness of case investigations. The methods used include training, direct assistance, case simulation, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed that the assistance of interpreters was able to increase the efficiency of examination time, improve the quality of examination minutes, and strengthen the juridical aspect of the case. This activity makes a real contribution to the professionalism and accountability of law enforcement in the Riau Islands Marine Police

Abstract

Increasing the effectiveness of learning requires paying attention to appropriate learning strategies. This article aims to determine the increase in learning effectiveness through learning strategies. This article is the result of a literature review based on related books and journals. Increasing the effectiveness of learning can be done by choosing the right learning strategy. The selection of learning strategies must pay attention to certain criteria or standards, such as learning objectives, material, student characteristics, educational staff, and time.

Abstract

In this community service and management training activity for the management of the Sinta Lecturer Account at the STIT. Hidayatullah Batam Kepulauan Riau College of Science, this is part of the collaboration service activity between the Batam Tourism Polytechnic and STIT. Hidayatullah Batam Kepulauan Riau. The target achievement of this activity is to register all of the Lecturer's accounts that are homed at STIT. Hidayatullah Batam Kepulauan Riau. In collaboration service activities between STIT. Hidayatullah Batam Riau Archipelago with the Batam Tourism Polytechnic, the method of community service activities is carried out face to face using a practical approach is preferred, while the lecture method as support for accelerating understanding during the training and mentoring process. The method approach used is lectures, role play and demonstrative as well as direct hands-on practice that has been scheduled regularly and structured. The results obtained were that participants were able to register their respective Sinta accounts as lecturers and were able to synchronize GS, Garuda, WoS and Scopus Id accounts for those who already had them. Activate all Sinta Lecturer accounts at STIT. Hidayatullah Batam Kepulauan Riau is also getting better, which so far has not been well exposed, especially for prospective students who will register to gain knowledge at STIT. Abstract

This service is assistance in creating a forum for the publication of Community Service results at Batam University. In the creation and management activities of OJS Pendekar, this is a collaborative service between the Batam Tourism Polytechnic and Batam University. The target achievement of this assistance is to create a journal house, with the name adasar, whose function is to publish the results of Community Service activities (PKM) carried out by the Batam University academic community. This PKM is carried out online and offline from the Batam Tourism Polytechnic and Batam University. The PKM implementation method is carried out face to face with the aim of managing OJS Pendekar, while the online method aims to complete administration at BRIN and internally. The application of the face to facetoface method used is lectures, role plays and demonstrations as well as direct practice which has been scheduled in a regular and structured manner. The results obtained were that the OJS Pendekar’s Editorial Board and participants were able to register an account at OJS as a writer or reviewer or. Create publication sections, issues and how to publish each article that has been submitted to OJS Pendekar. The limitations of varying PC’s specifications, time and instruments used during this service activity assistance activity can be minimized with the support of internet access technology as well as the enthusiasm of the activity participants and a family atmosphere to work together to advance Batam University in supporting the Tridharma of Higher Education.

Abstract

The publication of this activity is a service as a result of assistance in preparing the Zona Kebidanan for accreditation in a national journal. The Zona Kebidanan publishes research results three times a year. This Zona Kebidanan assistance and management activity is a collaborative service between Batam Tourism Polytechnic and Batam University. The target of achieving this assistance is to complete the publication of journal house ethics and integrate it into the Zona Kebidanan, the functions and results of Community Service (PKM) activities carried out by the Batam University academic community. This PKM was implemented boldly and offline from the Batam Tourism Polytechnic and Batam University. The PKM implementation method is carried out face-to-face with the aim of managing the OJS Zona Kebidanan, while the bold method aims to complete administration at BRIN and internally. The face-to-face methods used are lectures, role plays and demonstrations as well as direct training which has been scheduled regularly and in a structured manner.

Abstract

The community empowerment program which is one of the implementations of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk's CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities - Panaran Station Offtake in Tembesi Village aims to make a positive contribution to the local community through various initiatives and activities that have a social, economic and social impact. environment. Several specific objectives of the PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk - Panaran Station Offtake CSR program for the Tembesi Village community include: Economic Empowerment: Increasing the community's economic capacity through entrepreneurship training, and developing MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). Education: Counseling to overcome juvenile delinquency, in the form of outreach activities regarding the dangers of drugs and types of countermeasures. Health: Providing education through counseling regarding stunting to the community, assisting posyandu for toddlers and the elderly, as well as providing additional food assistance (BMT) as an effort to improve the quality of health of pregnant women and toddlers, as well as. Social Infrastructure: Providing financial assistance for mosque repairs. Environment: Capacity Building of Agro Green Women Farmer Groups (KWT) and Development of Waste Bank Groups. Through this CSR program, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk - Panaran Station Offtake seeks to provide a sustainable positive impact on the community of Tembesi Village, as well as supporting inclusive and sustainable development in the area.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peranan administrasi pertahanan dalam mendukung pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan melalui pendekatan manajemen strategis dan tata kelola destinasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi literatur dari regulasi nasional, laporan lembaga internasional, dan jurnal ilmiah terkait pertahanan dan pariwisata pintar berkelanjutan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi pertahanan berkontribusi dalam menciptakan stabilitas keamanan destinasi, penguatan manajemen risiko lingkungan dan sosial, perlindungan kawasan strategis nasional, serta dukungan terhadap infrastruktur berkelanjutan berbasis konsep dual-use. Sinergi antara Kementerian Pertahanan Republik Indonesia dan Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Republik Indonesia menjadi faktor penting dalam mewujudkan pariwisata yang aman, tangguh, dan berkelanjutan
