Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah unutk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh oengalaman kerja dan tingkat gaji terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif, populasi dalam penelitisn ini yaitu karyawan pada CV Mega Mulia Sejahtera Padang yang berjumlah 50. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 50 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu total sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Model Partial Least (SEM-PLS) dengan menggunakan software SMART PLS 4.1. dengan melakukan evaluasi model structural (inner model), dan evaluasi kesesuaian model (Goodness of Fit). Hasil pengujian hipotesis secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pengalaman kerja terhadap kepuasan pelayanan, tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan tingkat gaji terhadap kepuasan pelayanan, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pengalaman kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, terdapat penagruh yang signifikan tingkat gaji terhadap kinerja karyawan, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kepuasan pelayanan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kemudian pengalaman kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan pelayanan sedangkan Tingkat gaji tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan pelayanan.

Abstract

In academic writing, hedging is a key rhetorical strategy that allows researchers to express caution and manage claims with appropriate nuance. This study investigates hedging practices in Applied Linguistics research articles written by Indonesian and Native English authors. Using a corpus of 20 articles (10 per group) totaling approximately 100,000 words, the analysis focuses on hedging density, distribution across Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections, and types of hedging devices used. Native English authors employ significantly more hedging devices (859 total) than Indonesian authors (365 total), especially modal and epistemic verbs. Both groups hedge most in the Introduction and Discussion sections, with statistically significant higher hedging densities among Native English writers in these parts, while the Methods section exhibits the least hedging for both. Indonesian authors favor approximators as hedging devices, indicating cultural preference for indirect lexical softening, contrasted with the more explicit grammatical hedging by Native English authors. These results highlight distinct cultural rhetorical preferences and suggest that academic writing pedagogy for Indonesian scholars should incorporate modal and epistemic verb strategies to better align with international norms.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian nasional, namun dalam praktiknya masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, khususnya terkait lemahnya pengendalian internal dan penerapan etika bisnis dalam pengelolaan usaha. Kondisi tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan risiko kesalahan pencatatan keuangan, kecurangan, serta pengambilan keputusan yang kurang tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan serta meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku UMKM Peyek DN mengenai pentingnya pengendalian internal dan etika bisnis dalam pengelolaan keuangan usaha. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, yang diwujudkan melalui metode pendampingan dan observasi langsung kepada pemilik UMKM di Nagari Sumani, Kabupaten Solok, Sumatra Barat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan yang dilakukan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku usaha mengenai konsep pengendalian internal, pencegahan risiko kecurangan, serta penerapan etika bisnis dalam aktivitas usaha sehari-hari. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan pelaku UMKM dapat mengelola keuangan usahanya secara lebih tertib, transparan, dan berkelanjutan guna mendukung keberlangsungan usaha di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Social media has become the main communication space for students, influencing interaction patterns and language use, particularly in writing short narratives (captions). In practice, students tend to use non-standard language, such as slang and mixed with foreign languages, as a more relaxed and interactive communication strategy. This phenomenon is interesting to study because it has the potential to influence the effectiveness of message delivery and attitudes towards language politeness. This study aims to describe the use of slang in students' social media captions and analyze its influence on the attractiveness of messages and attitudes towards standard Indonesian. The study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to active social media users from various study programs. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. The results show that the majority of students are accustomed to writing captions and predominantly use slang, non-standard language, and a mixture of Indonesian and English. Most respondents believe that slang facilitates message delivery and increases the appeal of posts. Nevertheless, students still showed a positive attitude towards the importance of linguistic politeness and the use of standard Indonesian in formal and academic contexts. These findings indicate that language use in social media is contextual and adaptive, reflecting students' linguistic flexibility without shifting their awareness of linguistic norms.

Abstract

This study aims to discover the relationship between growth sales, capital structure, and corporate governance on financial performance of consumer consumer non-cyclical firms in Indonesia. Financial performance is observed from market performance (Tobin's Q) and profitability performance (ROA). The population in this study is firms in consumer consumer non-cyclical on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The total population is 113 firms. 39 firms were selected as samples. The data is obtained from the annual report which starts from the period 2018 to 2022. A total of the population was determined as samples by purposive sampling method. Data analysis using panel data regression. The result shows: 1) Growth Sales have a significant influence on market performance; however, it does not have a significant effect on profitability performance. 2) Capital Structure significantly influences market and profitability performance 3) Corporate governance significantly influences market and profitability performance. Suggestions for companies that must strive to increase sales, maintain good corporate governance and pay attention to the company's capital structure in a balanced manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh inflasi, leverage dan return on equity terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan laba bersih sebagai variabel moderating pada sektor perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2019-2023. Teknik pengumpulan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling sehingga dari 46 populasi diperoleh sampel sebanyak 25 perusahaan. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Regresi Data Panel dengan menggunakan Software Econometric Views (Eviews) versi 12. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa inflasi secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, leverage secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sedangkan return on equity secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Inflasi yang dimoderasi oleh laba bersih berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, leverage yang dimoderasi oleh laba bersih berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sedangkan return on equity yang dimoderasi oleh laba bersih berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and liabilities on stock prices through dividend policy as an intervening variable in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2024 period. The research population consisted of all energy sector companies listed on the IDX, with a sample of 18 companies selected using purposive sampling method. The data used were secondary data in the form of annual financial reports obtained from the official IDX website. Data analysis techniques used path analysis with SPSS version 25 software. The results showed that profitability significantly influenced dividend policy with a t-value of 3.712 > t-table 1.987 and significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, liabilities did not significantly influence dividend policy with a t-value of -0.427 < t-table 1.987 and significance of 0.670 > 0.05. Profitability significantly influenced stock prices with a t-value of 5.011 > t-table 1.987 and significance of 0.000 < 0.05. However, liabilities did not significantly influence stock prices with a t-value of -0.468 < t-table 1.987 and significance of 0.641 > 0.05. Dividend policy also did not significantly influence stock prices with a t-value of 0.047 < t-table 1.987 and significance of 0.962 > 0.05. The mediation test results showed that dividend policy was unable to mediate the effect of profitability or liabilities on stock prices. The coefficient of determination (R²) value in the first equation was 0.863, indicating that 86.3% of the variation in dividend policy could be explained by profitability and liabilities, while in the second equation the R² value was 0.707, indicating that 70.7% of the variation in stock prices could be explained by profitability, liabilities, and dividend policy. This study implies that investors in the energy sector pay more attention to company profitability as an indicator of fundamental performance in investment decision-making compared to dividend policy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Discipline, Compensation, and Work Environment on Employee Performance with Work Motivation as an intervening variable at the Regional Secretariat of West Pasaman Regency. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis, by distributing 160 questionnaires. The results showed that there is a positive and significant effect of Work Discipline on Work Motivation, there is a positive and significant effect of Compensation on Work Motivation, there is a positive and significant effect of Work Climate on Work Motivation at the Regional Secretariat of West Pasaman Regency. There is a positive and significant effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance, there is a positive and significant effect of Compensation on Employee Performance, there is no effect of Work Environment on Employee Performance, there is a positive and significant effect of Work Motivation on Employee Performance at the Regional Secretariat of West Pasaman Regency. Work Motivation is not able to mediate the effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance, Work Motivation is not able to mediate the effect of Work Environment on Employee Performance, Work Motivation is able to mediate the effect of Compensation on Employee Performance at the Regional Secretariat of West Pasaman Regency. Finally, the author suggests that the Regional Secretariat of West Pasaman Regency further enhance Work Motivation as it has the most dominant influence on Employee Performance in West Pasaman Regency

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of mobile banking usage and transaction security on customer investment decisions, with financial behavior as an intervening variable at Bank BNI in Bukittinggi City. Data collection was conducted through a survey and questionnaire distribution, with a sample of 100 respondents. The analysis method used was structural equation modeling using SmartPLS. The results showed a significant influence of mobile banking on financial behavior. Transaction security significantly impacted financial behavior. M-banking significantly impacted investment decisions. Transaction security significantly impacted investment decisions. Financial behavior significantly impacted investment decisions. Financial behavior mediated the influence of mobile banking on investment decisions. Financial behavior mediated the influence of transaction security on investment decisions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Analisis Fundamental, Analisisi Teknikal, Harga Saham dan Portofolio terhadap Keputusan Investasi melalui Nilai Perusahaan sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi Perusahaan LQ45 yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2019-2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini sesuai dengan kriteria tertentu dan ditentukan dengan analisis regresi berganda, sehingga didapatkan sampel sebanyak 10 perusahaan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda dengan menggunakan software E-Views versi 12. Hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa Analisis Fundamental dan Nilai Perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap Keputusan Investasi, sedangkan Analisis Teknikal dan Harga Saham tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Investasi. Saran bagi investor sebelum memutuskan berinvestasi agar menganalisis perusahaan, baik secara fundamental dan teknikal agar mendapatkan return sesuai dengan yang diinginkan.
