Abstract

The research was an explorative research deploying interview and questionnaire as collecting data methods. Collected data was analyzed descriptive qualitatively. The research found that (1) although respondents have different conceptions of good citizens, they have shared view on main features of good citizen, namely caring others, responsibility, independence, democratic, critical, and simple life; (2) almost all of them have chosen lecturing as instructional method to develop good citizen; (3) they have found both internal and external obstacles in dealing with their efforts, such as teachers themselves and students and the lack of infrastructures of schools; and (4) many efforts were deployed, one of them was of seduction their colleagues to work professionally. They believed that it was not thought but caught by which a good citizen could be developed. They were ready to be examples.

Abstract

Pada tahap perkembangan, peserta didik SMP dapat dikategorikan sebagai remaja awal. Pada usia remaja, pendidikan menjadi suatu kewajiban yang mutlak harus dijalani. Namun demikian, dalam menempuh pendidikan sering terjadi beberapa masalah dan hambatan yang dialami oleh remaja, seperti adanya keengganan untuk belajar. tidak jarang mengakibatkan tugas-tugas sekolah yang tertunda mengakibatkan menurunnya prestasi akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) membantu siswa menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik peserta didik 2) memberikan keterampilan pada guru BK/konselor untuk terampil menggunakan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan bimbingan dan konseling (PTBK) yang dilaksanakan menggunakan 2 siklus dengan tiap siklus 3 pertemuan dengan menggunakan layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP dan guru BK/konselor di SMP.. Data diperoleh dengan angket, observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data digunakan analisis deskriftif prosentase. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa dampak bertambahnya keterampilan guru BK dalam melaksanakan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing yang berfokus pada pembahasan penurunan prokrastinasi peserta didik

Abstract

The study aims to inventory and analyze GHG Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions to support RAD in the mitigation and adaptation of PI Situbondo Regency. It is hoped that the research output can become input for  Regional Governments in implementative designing mitigation and adaptation actions. The scope of the research in the Situbondo Regency area was six months. The analysis method uses a remote sensing system through exploration of Sentinel-5P satellite data for GHG Carbon Dioxide (CO2) gas numerical spatial data on cloud-based digital platform Java script Google Earth Engine (GEE) and Google Colaboratory Research (GColab) 2023, image digitization and outlasting in QGIS software. Research data is remote sensing data access to the Carbon Dioxide gas datasets Sentinel_5P OFFL_CO Offline, and MOD 11A1.061_Terra LST, and EDG 1km. The results show that the highest CO density variable in 2017 was 116 – 239 g/m2, then decreased to 109 – 227 g/m2 in 2019, and to 66 – 180 g/m2 in 2021. The highest range of LST variables in 2017al was 19 – 39 0 C, then increased to 21 – 40 0 C  in 2019, and in 2021 decreased again to 18 – 38 0 C. Regional variables The highest LST distribution in 2017 and 2019 was relatively the same in each sub-district, namely Situbondo, Panarukan, Panji, Kapongan and Jangkar. CO and LST density variables in 2021 are not correlated, r = 0.1 - 0.3

Abstract

The development of technology in the 21st era is growing very rapidly, especially in the field of education. Learners are required to be able to hone skills, one of which is Computational Thinking (CT). This study aims to describe the emergence of indicators of students' CT ability through problem-based learning on exponential functions. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with the research subject, namely class X students of SMA Negeri 10 Palembang as many as 50 students with the focus of the subject, namely 3 students who have high, medium, and low abilities.. This research was conducted through preparation, implementation, and data analysis stages. The data in this study were collected through written tests and interviews with the aim of measuring students' CT abilities. The results obtained will be analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the indicators of students' CT abilities on exponential function material were well seen, namely decomposition, pattern recognition, and abstraction. As for algorithm indicators, students are still not precise in solving problems systematically with the right answers. Abstract

Computational Thinking (CT) is a very important skill for everyone because it is not only for solving problems related to computer science and mathematics, but also for solving various problems in everyday life. The application of computational thinking skills in Indonesia is still constrained which results in low computational thinking skills of students. This study aims to identify the ability of computational thinking in students through learning videos containing problem solving using the stages of computational thinking developed on the material of exponential equations. This study used descriptive qualitative methodology with 34 grade 10 learners in one of the high schools in Palembang as research subjects, focusing on three learners who showed high, medium, and low abilities. The research was conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and data analysis. Data were collected through written tests and interviews to measure learners' computational thinking ability. The results were analyzed through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that learners showed proficiency in exponential material, especially in terms of pattern recognition and abstraction. However, in decomposition and algorithm skills, learners show a lack of ability in solving problems with a systematic approach and accurate solutions.

Abstract

Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a significant risk, especially for older individuals. Indonesian studies found 37.1% VTE incidence in bedridden patients over 40 and 2.1% in major surgeries. Surgery, like hip fractures, raises the risk temporarily. Diagnosis relies on tests like ultrasound with Doppler, Wells score, and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR). This study aimed to evaluate the laboratory findings of postoperative VTE. A retrospective analysis was conducted in Dr. Sardjito General Hospital, Yogyakarta using medical record data of VTE patients who underwent major surgery. The laboratory data, including complete blood count characteristics for every month for three months after postsurgery and DVT presentation when it occurred on the diagnostic day were collected. In total of 27 patients involved in this study, VTE cases were more common in digestive (41.2%) and obstetric gynecology surgeries (29.4%) for females, and nervous (44.4%) and cardiovascular surgeries (22.2%) for males. Females had a higher prevalence of Well Score ≥3 (82.4% vs 40%; p=0.058) and longer VTE therapy durations (65.50 ± 46.51 vs 39.60 ± 41.04 d; p=0.172). Males had more unilateral VTE occurrences (90.9 vs 56.3%; p=0.070) and a higher proportion of total occlusion cases (60 vs 37.5%; p=0.422). NLR exhibited a significant decrease from the 1st to the 2nd month (10.52 vs 3.64; p=0.009), followed by an insignificant increase in the 3rd month (3.64 vs 3.98; p=0.878). Notably, NLR trended downward in the 2nd month examination. In conclusion, VTE occurs in 0.21% of postoperative patients, with the highest incidence observed in post-gynecological surgery patients. The NLR can serve as a diagnostic tool for VTE in extremities, as an elevated NLR indicates the presence of a more proximal thrombus.

Abstract

Dukungan guru dalam pembelajaran terhadap pemahaman bahasa matematika oleh siswa dapat membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir logis, analitis, dan kritis. Namun, guru masih kurang dalam menggunakan bahasa matematika pada proses pembelajaran. Hal ini berkaitan dengan masih minimnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru terhadap penggunaan bahasa matematika dalam pembelajaran. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) pada kegiatan ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru matematika Yayasan Maitreyawira dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran matematika melalui penggunaan bahasa matematika. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam 3 level kompetensi, yaitu level 1 tentang pengertian bahasa matematika yang dari fenomena yang ada di sekitar; level 2 berkenaan dengan strategi pembelajaran menggunakan bahasa matematika; level 3 mengimplementasikan strategi pembelajaran yang dirancang guru ke dalam kelas simulasi. Pencapaian 3 level kompetensi ini dilakukan secara berjenjang. Metode pelatihan meliputi Focus Group Discussion (FGD), proyek, presentasi, dan implementasi pengajaran pemodelan matematika secara simulai. Tiga puluh guru matematika dari guru SD sampai guru SMA, dari Yayasan Cahaya Maitreyawira Palembang, mengikuti kegiatan yang dilaksanakan secara hybrid. Data dikumpulkan melalui pemberian angket yang bertujuan untuk melihat kepuasan peserta pelatihan dan dokumen hasil kerja guru untuk melihat kemampuan guru dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran matematika. Pelaksanaan pelatihan telah berjalan dengan baik. Respons peserta menunjukkan kepuasan terhadap pelatihan yang diberikan dan hasil pelatihan menunjukkan guru mampu merancang startegi pembelajaran matematika di topik bilangan pecahan melalui penggunaan bahasa matematika dengan baik. Peserta pelatihan mampu mengimplementasikan strategi pembelajaran pada topik pecahan yang dirancang kepada siswa di dalam kelasnya. Kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan strategi pembelajaran melalui penggunaan bahasa matematika di kelas menunjukkan penguasaan guru terhadap 3 level kompetensi dalam pelatihan ini.

Abstract

Computational thinking is one of the most important skills in the 21st century; it is a thinking ability related to a set of mindsets that includes understanding problem-solving, reasoning at the level of abstraction, and developing problem-solving. This research is descriptive qualitative research that aims to determine the students' computational thinking ability and describe the computational thinking ability of 3 research subjects. The subjects of this study were 3 students selected from 28 students of class VII. The research instruments were test questions and interview guidelines. The results showed that out of 25 students, 14% were low-ability students, 75% were medium-ability students, and 11% were high-ability students. Students in class VII.1 were mostly able to fulfill the indicators of decomposition, pattern recognition, algorithmic thinking and abstraction, but only a few students who raised these indicators correctly

Abstract

The purpose of this research work is to examine the impact of differentiation in mathematics on CT performance of high school learners. Using a pre-experimental one-shot case study design, the study enslisted 35 students from SMAN 8 Palembang teaching mathematics with the topic arithmetic sequences. Quantitative data revealed significant improvements in all CT components, with decomposition and pattern recognition emerging as strengths (mean score: 85.3, ttt-value;14.25, ppp value; 0.00001. Observations included quantitative results for student participation, valuable peer interactions, and appropriate and appropriate uses of Strategies CT, as well as qualitative results for the visual and tiered means of differentiation incorporated into the lesson. The work supports what can be done in terms of differentiation and the assurance of learning and competencies of learners in mathematics education for all. Still, the obstacles like the asynchronous development of abstraction and algorithmization make it pertinent for refining the directions of instructions. This theoretical and practical work advances two bodies of knowledge: incorporating CT within settings of differentiation learning and promoting interdisciplinary use of the concept. That is why future studies should be directed toward experimental application, the relation of such interventions to other mathematical concepts, and their long term outcomes.

Abstract

Computational thinking merupakan kemampuan yang sangat penting untuk dimiliki oleh peserta didik, namun guru-guru masih belum begitu memahami dengan baik tentang computational thinking ini, serta bagaimana menyusun Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis computational thinking. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan computational thinking dan integrasinya pada LKPD kepada guru-guru matematika di Kabupaten Panukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) Sumatera Selatan, dan diharapkan guru-guru matematika tersebut dapat mendesain sendiri LKPD yang berbasis computational thinking. Sasaran yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini adalah sebanyak 35 orang guru matematika tingkat sekolah menengah pertama. Metode kegiatan terdiri dari sosialisasi, workshop, dan implementasi hasil workshop di kelas masing-masing. Sosialisasi telah mendapatkan pemahaman guru tentang computational thinking dengan skor 82,60 dengan kategori baik. Workshop telah menghasilkan LKPD matematika berbasis computational thinking, dengan kemunculan komponen dekomposisi sebanyak 75%, pengenalan polan 75%, abstraksi 56%, dan algoritma 94%. Implementasi LKPD telah dilakukan dengan hasil yang memuaskan, dan disarankan agar kegiatan serupa dapat terus berlanjut.
