Abstract

This study aims to analyze and understand the criminal arrangements in the crime of theft with violence according to the Criminal Code (KUHP) and its application in verdict number 728 K/Pid/2019. The approach used in this research is a normative legal approach, which involves the study of legislation, theories, and related concepts to obtain relevant data from the community. This research uses primary and secondary legal data as sources of legal materials. The results show that the crime of theft with violence is regulated in Article 365 of the Criminal Code with various levels of punishment based on the conditions that accompany the act, ranging from a nine-year prison sentence to the death penalty or life imprisonment. For example, the punishment will be more severe if the act is committed at night, by more than one person, by dismantling, or if it results in severe injury or death. In the case study of decision number 728 K/Pid/2019, the judge issued a verdict indicating that the defendant was found guilty of committing the crime of theft with violence. The verdict is considered to have fulfilled the applicable provisions formally and materially in the legislation. The implications of this research show the importance of a deep understanding of the regulation and application of the law on the crime of theft with violence to ensure justice and consistency in law enforcement. This research also emphasizes the need to increase legal awareness among the public regarding the severe sanctions faced by perpetrators of violent theft

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal regulation of the dissemination of content containing decency in the form of spreading photos and videos of traffic accident victims according to Article 27, paragraph 1 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE), as well as obstacles in determining suspects in the dissemination of such content. The research uses a normative juridical approach by studying legislation, theories, and related concepts. The results show that the legal regulation of the dissemination of content containing decency is regulated in Article 27, paragraph 1 and Article 45 of the ITE Law, which states that every Person who intentionally and without properly distributes, transmits, or makes accessible electronic information or electronic documents that have content violating decency can be punished with imprisonment of up to six years and a maximum fine of Rp 1 billion. Law No. 1, the Year 2024, reaffirms this provision with additional exceptions for public interest, self-defence, or if the information is a work of art, culture, sports, health, or science. Obstacles in disclosing the perpetrators of the distribution of decency and pornography content to traffic victims include a lack of adequate human resources, limited facilities and infrastructure, and a lack of cooperation between related agencies and the community. The implications of this research indicate the need for increased legal awareness and cooperation between various parties to effectively enforce the Law related to the dissemination of decency content. In addition, increasing the capacity and resources of law enforcement officials is essential to overcome the existing obstacles.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan mengenai pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan penyusunan modul ajar di SMPN 6 Balikpapan. Pelatihan ini berlangsung selama dua hari dan diikuti oleh seluruh guru SMPN 6 Balikpapan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi presentasi, diskusi kelompok, dan praktek langsung dalam penyusunan modul ajar. Para peserta sangat antusias dan aktif dalam setiap sesi, menunjukkan komitmen yang tinggi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mereka. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan kemampuan mereka dalam menyusun modul ajar yang lebih variatif dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di SMPN 6 Balikpapan. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan lancar berkat kerjasama yang baik antara tim pelaksana, pihak sekolah, dan para peserta. Diharapkan, pelatihan ini dapat menjadi model bagi sekolah-sekolah lain dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui pendekatan yang lebih personal dan inovatif.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan ilmu eksak menjadi sorotan yang cukup diperhatikan, terutama di sekolah-sekolah, karena ia membutuhkan tingkat kelemahaman tersendiri untuk memahaminya. Salah satu faktor yang melatarbelakangi hal itu adalah perbedaan daya tangkap otak anak dalam mengolah ilmu-ilmu tersebut. Ilmu eksak merupakan salah satu disiplin keilmuan yang mengandalkan kemampuan otak kiri dalam memahaminya, maka dibutuhkan kemampuan otak kiri yang tinggi (dominan). Sehingga, mereka yang mempunyai dominasi otak kanan ketimbang otak kirinya dalam daya tangkap otak, sering kali mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami pelajaran-pelajaran eksak, terutama matematika. Abstract

Indonesia has great potential to develop renewable energy, especially through Micro Hydro Power Plants (MHP) that utilize river flow. The Papua region, including Jayawijaya Regency, has significant water resources potential but has not been optimally utilized to meet local energy needs. This study aims to evaluate the technical feasibility of building an MHP in Uwe River, Jayawijaya Regency, with a capacity of 2 x 750 kW as an effort to increase the electrification ratio in Papua Mountains. The research uses a quantitative approach with field survey methods and primary data collection, such as water discharge measurements and interviews with relevant parties. The data were analyzed using the FJ Mock method for water discharge estimation and hydraulic power calculation to assess the technical feasibility of MHP development. The results showed that Uwe River has a potential hydraulic power of 2063.965 kW with a capacity factor of 88%, which is able to support the operation of two turbines with a capacity of 733.76 kW each. The conclusion of this study shows that the construction of an MHP in Sungai Uwe is technically feasible and has great potential to increase the electrification ratio, support local economic development, and reduce dependence on fossil fuels in remote areas. The implication of these results is the importance of investment and policy support in the development of renewable energy projects in Papua to achieve national electrification targets.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Hak warga negara adalah hak-hak yang dijamin oleh konstitusi yang berfungsi sebagai pembatasan dan untuk melindungi kebebasan bagi setiap individu. Hak warga negara sendiri diatur dalam UUD 1945. Semua warga negara, termasuk penyandang disabilitas memilikki persamaan hak di depan hukum. Penyandang disabilitas memiliki hak yang sama dalam berpariwisata. Aksebilitas menjadi elemen penting bagi penyandang disabilitas dalam melakukan kegiatan pariwisata. Regulasi dibentuk untuk memberikan fasilitas terbaik bagi disabilitas dalam berpariwisata, namun kenyataan dilapangan masih banyak fasilitas yang belum terpenuhi untuk menunjang kenyamanan berpariwisata bagi disabilitas. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi regulasi penyediaan fasilitas bagi penyandang disabilitas di kawasan wisata tersebut, dengan menggunakan pendekatan yuridis empiris. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian yuridis empiris yang menggabungkan analisis hukum normatif dengan studi lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kajian dokumen terkait. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan signifikan antara regulasi yang telah ditetapkan, seperti Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2016 dan Perda Babel Nomor 6 Tahun 2021, dengan kondisi fasilitas di lapangan. Masih terdapat keterbatasan pada aksesibilitas jalur, informasi ramah disabilitas, dan pelatihan bagi petugas pariwisata. Selain itu, kendala utama yang diidentifikasi mencakup kurangnya anggaran, kesadaran pemangku kepentingan, serta koordinasi antarinstansi. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penyediaan fasilitas inklusif di kawasan Pantai Pasir Padi memerlukan pendekatan komprehensif yang melibatkan peningkatan infrastruktur, pelatihan, dan pengawasan reguler. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi strategis untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan menciptakan pengalaman wisata yang inklusif, tidak hanya bagi penyandang disabilitas tetapi juga untuk masyarakat umum, sesuai dengan prinsip pariwisata berkelanjutan dan inklusif.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is a highly engaging active learning model that fosters increased student participation and enhances their problem-solving abilities. Automatic voice recorder design was an output of PjBL undertaken by students in the Air Navigation Engineering diploma four years program, especially in the aviation communication equipment course. One of the learning outcomes of this course is being able to design aviation communication equipment, such as voice recorder. The method used in designing an automatic voice recorder was DDR from Richey and Klein, which consists of design, development and evaluation stages. The results of an automatic voice recorder design trails can be concluded that the design has worked well, but does not fully meet the technical specifications of voice recorder for VHF Air-Ground communication transceiver, including storage capacity, non-interfering playback operations, and accuracy of recording time. The assessment results of the PjBL indicate that all students have successfully attained one of the specified learning outcomes in the aviation communication equipment course, particularly in the area of voice recorder design. This achievement will ultimately contribute to the enhancement of students' skills in designing aeronautical telecommunication facilities.

Abstract

Radio Very High Frequency Air to Ground (VHF A/G) merupakan peralatan yang terdiri dari pemancar dan penerima yang digunakan untuk komunikasi penerbangan antara pilot dengan unit Air Traffic Service (ATS) dan bekerja pada frekuensi 118 MHz – 136.975 MHz. Jenis propagasi gelombang radio pada VHF A/G adalah Line of Sight. Radio pemancar memiliki dua pemancar yang bekerja sebagai main dan standby radio. Menurut KP 103 tahun 2015 tentang spesifikasi teknis Transmitter1 dan Transmitter2 dihubungkan dengan automatic change over switch yang dapat melakukan change over secara otomatis sesuai dengan keperluan operasional. Namun masih ada pelaratan Radio VHF A/G pada bandara yang belum memiliki automatic change over switching system , sehingga dibuatl rancangan Automatic Switching System menggunakan Arduino Mega. Simpulan dari penelitian ini terdapat hasil bahwa alat tersebut berjalan sesuai dengan keinginan, dimana proses input data melalui LCD Touch Screen terdapat 2 mode, yaitu mode otomatis dan manual yang di mana ketika mode otomatis menggunakan trigger PTT 10x dan change over, kemudian untuk yang manual kita dapat memilih Transmitter mana yang ingin digunakan melalui layar LCD Touchscreen tersebut.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that in Sempan Village there is have potential eco tourism for Bukit 7 Sempan which requires professional institutions. However, there is a void in the legal basis for the Sempan Village Government in creating institutional governance. This research was written using an empirical normative approach that relies on secondary data and primary data. The role of the village is part of the constitutional aspect because the village is an autonomous government unit. Village government is indeed a part that cannot be separated geographically because the village government area is also a regional government area. But uniquely, on the one hand, the village also always has its autonomy, namely in terms of controlling the village household and making village regulations. The village is a self-governing community, a form of autonomy from the Sempan Village Government in managing Sempan 7 Hill is by forming a Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis). Efforts to guarantee legal certainty. By giving Pokdarwis legality, it will enjoy a position like other legal subjects.

Abstract

Active learning training for madrasah tsanawiyah mathematics teachers throughout Samarinda City was carried out with the aim of enabling teachers to develop active learning scenarios and understand the elements of an independent curriculum such as differentiated learning, numeracy literacy, and media creation using the Geogebra application. This service approach uses PAR because the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Mathematics MGMP has minimal activities and limited budget. The results of this service show that the participants who took part in the training were 21 mathematics teachers from 16 Madrasah Tsanawiyah based on the willingness of the teachers to fill out the form which was distributed via Google Form. After being given training and assistance, teachers can develop active learning scenarios in lesson implementation plans, develop numeracy literacy assessment instruments, and create learning media with the Geogebra application to be used for teaching in class. Other results show that learning in class makes students more active and students' mathematics learning outcomes increase.
