Abstract

One measure of the progress of a nation is often seen from the life expectancy of its inhabitants. Old age is a period of life span that is marked by changes or decline in bodily functions. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between family support and elderly visits to the elderly Posyandu at Posyandu Bugenvil 50, Gugut Village, Jember Regency. This research is a correlation study (correlation study). The population in this study was the elderly in the Bugenvil 50 posyandu in Gugut Village, Jember Regency as many as 210 people. The number of samples was 68 people, the sampling used was simple random sampling. The results of this study indicate that family support is good as many as 39 people (57.4%), not good 29 people (42.6%), and the activeness of elderly visits to posyandu is as much as 38 people (55.9%), active 30 people (44.1%) . Based on the chi square test results obtained x2 count (11,257)> x2 table (3.48) with n p value (0.001) <a (0.05). This means that Ha was accepted, that is, there was a Relationship between Family Support and Elderly Visit to the Posyandu. The conclusion from this study is that there is a positive relationship between family support and elderly visits to the Posyandu of the elderly in Posyandu Bugenvil 50, Gugut Village, Jember Regency

Abstract

Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Bambu Jawa "Jahit Bumi" di Dusun Payamah, Desa Karangsari, Gunungkidul, merupakan inisiatif mitigasi bencana tanah longsor yang digagas oleh Karang Taruna Prima Gadung pada tahun 2022. Dusun Payamah rentan terhadap longsor, terutama pada musim hujan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan upaya menjadikan Desa Payamah sebagai desa tangguh bencana melalui program Bambu Jawa Jahit Bumi yang berfokus pada mitigasi bencana tanah longsor, dan 2) mendeskripsikan dampak program Bambu Jawa Jahit Bumi dalam meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat setempat melalui pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis bambu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dari sumber terkait. Program ini melibatkan lebih dari 200 warga yang aktif dalam kegiatan penanaman bambu dan pelatihan mitigasi bencana. Selain itu, program ini membuka peluang ekonomi dengan produksi produk bambu, seperti sedotan dan gelas, yang keuntungannya digunakan untuk penanaman bibit bambu. Dampak positif yang dirasakan masyarakat antara lain peningkatan kesadaran tentang pencegahan longsor dan peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi.

Abstract

This study aims to identify low Indonesian language proficiency among fifth-grade students of Banyior 2 Elementary School. Indonesian is crucial for communication and education at the elementary school level. However, field observations indicate that students struggle with listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Information was collected through observation, interviews, and diagnostic assessments, and assessed using an interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that both internal factors (such as lack of motivation, minimal interest, and inappropriate learning methods) and external factors (such as the prevalence of lecture-based teaching, inadequate learning resources, lack of social support, and inadequate parental involvement) contribute to poor language proficiency. These findings emphasize the importance of engaging teaching methods, the use of creative learning resources, and a supportive learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesenjangan antara regulasi perpajakan burung walet dan praktik ilegal di lapangan, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap maraknya penghindaran pajak dalam industri sarang burung walet. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dengan pendekatan analisis wacana, analisis konten, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompleksitas regulasi, lemahnya pengawasan, dan kolusi antara pelaku usaha dengan oknum aparat pajak menjadi penyebab utama praktik ilegal seperti underreporting produksi dan pungutan liar. Dampaknya, potensi penerimaan pajak daerah mengalami kebocoran signifikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penyederhanaan regulasi, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan penguatan kolaborasi multistakeholder untuk meningkatkan efektivitas sistem perpajakan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the correlation between gadget usage and students’ learning behavior in the Al-Qur’an Hadis subject at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. The background of this study is grounded in the phenomenon of students low learning behavior and the extensive use of gadgets, which has the potential to disrupt the learning process. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The research population consisted of 321 tenth-grade students, with a sample of 76 students selected using simple random sampling. The research instrument was a non-test questionnaire that had undergone validity and reliability testing, resulting in 30 valid statement items. Data were analyzed using the Product Moment correlation test. The findings reveal a significant positive correlation between gadget usage and students’ learning behavior. Lower levels of appropriate gadget usage (i.e., poorer usage patterns) are associated with poorer learning behavior, and vice versa. The novelty of this study lies in its specific focus on examining the influence of gadget usage on learning behavior within the context of Al-Quran Hadis instruction in a state madrasah, a research area that remains relatively underexplored. These findings contribute theoretically by extending the understanding of how digital technology influences religious learning behavior, while also offering practical implications for teachers, schools, and parents in guiding gadget use in a positive and proportional manner. Furthermore, this study opens opportunities for future research incorporating additional variables such as intrinsic motivation, family support, or digital literacy to enrich learning development strategies in the digital era

Abstract

The disclosure of literary criticism on the novel by Andrea Hirata does not merely look at it clearly. Still, it refers to the social aspect as an outline of the conflict in the storyline. The study aims to reveal and describe the social criticism forms in the novel Padang Bulan by Andera Hirata using the sociology of literature study. The method used in this research is descriptive method and this type of research is qualitative research. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that there are five social criticisms in the novel Padang Bulan, such as moral criticism, political criticism, educational criticism, economic criticism, and cultural criticism. AbstrakPengungkapan kritik sastra pada novel karta Andrea Hirata tidak semata-mata hanya melihat secara gamblang, melainkan berpatokan pada aspek sosial sebagai garis besar konflik pada alur cerita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk kritik sosial dalam novel Padang Bulan karya Andera Hirata menggunakan kajian sosiologi sastra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada lima kritik sosial dalam novel Padang Bulan, yaitu kritik moral, kritik politik, kritik pendidikan, kritik ekonomi, dan kritik kebudayaan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of interactive learning based on educational games through Smart TV media for early childhood at RA Tadika Adnani. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of one teacher and 30 early childhood students at RA Tadika Adnani. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the use of educational games through Smart TV increased children's engagement in the learning process. The materials presented included the introduction of Hijaiyah letters, Asmaul Husna, daily prayers, and cognitive games such as matching colors and pictures presented audiovisually. During the learning process, the teacher played an active role by asking questions, motivating children to respond, and encouraging students to practice the materials they learned. Game-based learning made children more enthusiastic, active, and confident in participating in classroom activities. Positive impacts were observed in the development of cognitive, language, social-emotional, as well as religious and moral values of early childhood. Therefore, the use of educational games through Smart TV media can be an effective and innovative learning strategy in early childhood education.

Abstract

The students who have not complied with school rules include those who do not arrive on time, some who do not wear school uniforms according to regulations, and others who do not follow classroom rules during lessons. Examples include students who do not pay attention when the teacher explains in front of the class, students who frequently leave and enter the classroom, and students who often bully their peers To identify and describe the role of the homeroom teacher in fostering student discipline during the teaching–learning process. To identify and describe the strategies used by the homeroom teacher to improve student discipline during the teaching–learning process. To identify and describe the obstacles faced by the homeroom teacher in increasing student discipline during the teaching–learning process. This research is descriptive qualitative research using a phenomenological approach at SD Negeri Centre Mangalli. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments consisted of observation guides, interview guides, and documentation guides, with data analysis covering data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The validity of the data was checked using data triangulation techniques. The results of the study indicate that: 1) success in fostering student discipline is greatly influenced by the optimization of the homeroom teacher’s role in the teaching–learning process. 2) Integrated and continuous strategies produce optimal results in forming students’ disciplined character. 3) The obstacles faced by homeroom teachers in improving student discipline at SD Negeri Centre Mangalli Gowa are varied and complex. These obstacles stem from internal factors within the students as well as external factors such as family and environment.
