Abstract

The success of information cannot be separated from the use of online media; Website is one of the online media that is widely used by organizations to provide information quickly. Unfortunately, there are currently not many websites that directly provide information and can analyze and monitor users. This study aims to develop a physical test and measurement website to provide information and results of biological monitoring of athletes directly. This research uses a method of ten stages of research and development (R and D). The result of this study is that more than 90% of users rated website design, validity, ease of access, and functionality as accessible and excellent. Analyzing test results and measurements also positively impacts satisfaction using the test and measurement website developed by Surabaya State University. This study concludes that although improvements need to be made to this website, but overall this physical test and measurement website facilitates the assessment of test results and physical measurements, which can be seen directly by coaches: athletes, managers, to parents who are given access. Coaches, athletes, and parent organizations must be able to adapt to the use of technology, such as the Web, to support long-term athlete development processes and performance. Following the needs of athletes, identifying athlete achievements from test results and measurements will be easier because test and measurement norms can also be adjusted to the history of test results and measurements.

Abstract

Monitoring beban latihan merupakan elemen penting dalam proses pembinaan atlet untuk meminimalkan risiko cedera, mencegah maladaptasi, dan memastikan efektivitas program latihan yang diberikan. Era digital memberikan peluang untuk melakukan monitoring beban latihan dengan cara yang lebih cepat, murah, dan mudah diakses. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan sistem monitoring beban latihan berbasis digital pada sub-elite atlet Malaysia dengan menggunakan Google Form dan Google Sheets sebagai instrumen pencatatan dan visualisasi data latihan. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari identifikasi masalah, perancangan formulir digital, pendampingan penggunaan, dan evaluasi pelatihan selama dua bulan. Formulir berisi data denyut nadi maksimal, intensitas latihan (RPE), kualitas tidur, stres, suasana hati, kelelahan, serta menu latihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingkat partisipasi atlet dalam pengisian data mencapai kategori sangat baik, dan pelatih mampu melakukan evaluasi mingguan berbasis grafik yang terbentuk secara otomatis dalam Google Sheets. Sistem ini mempermudah pelatih dalam menginterpretasi respons latihan, mendeteksi kelelahan, dan menyesuaikan beban latihan secara individu. Penerapan sistem monitoring digital ini terbukti efektif, hemat biaya, mudah diterapkan, dan dapat direplikasi di institusi olahraga lainnya. Selain memberikan manfaat praktis bagi pelatih dan atlet, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kolaborasi internasional antara UNESA dan Majlis Sukan Wilayah Persekutuan Malaysia dalam pengembangan sport coaching berbasis data.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi aktivitas fisik terhadap IMT dan kebugaran jasmani siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian diambil dari SMA di Kota Surabaya dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 66 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner motivasi aktivitas fisik (RM4-FM) serta pengukuran langsung terhadap IMT dan kebugaran jasmani menggunakan instrumen dari kemenpora yaitu Tes Kebugaran Pelajar Nasonal (TKPN). Analisis data dilakukan melalui statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, dan regresi multivariat (GLM Multivariate) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IMT (F = 9,681; p = 0,003; R² = 0,131) dan kebugaran jasmani (F = 6,089; p = 0,016; R² = 0,087). Uji multivariat (Pillai’s Trace = 0,131; F = 4,765; p = 0,012) juga mengonfirmasi bahwa motivasi secara simultan memengaruhi kedua variabel dependen. Dengan demikian, motivasi terbukti berperan penting dalam menjaga IMT yang seimbang serta meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa melalui aktivitas fisik yang teratur. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa peningkatan motivasi dapat dijadikan strategi penting dalam program pendidikan jasmani dan intervensi kesehatan sekolah untuk mendukung gaya hidup aktif pada remaja. Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of physical activity motivation on BMI and physical fitness of students. The research design used a quantitative cross-sectional approach. The study population was taken from high schools in Surabaya City with a sample of 66 students selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through a physical activity motivation questionnaire (RM4-FM) and direct measurements of BMI and physical fitness using an instrument from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, namely the National Student Fitness Test (TKPN). Data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multivariate regression (GLM Multivariate) with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that motivation had a significant effect on BMI (F = 9.681; p = 0.003; R² = 0.131) and physical fitness (F = 6.089; p = 0.016; R² = 0.087). Multivariate testing (Pillai's Trace = 0.131; F = 4.765; p = 0.012) also confirmed that motivation simultaneously influenced both dependent variables. Thus, motivation plays a significant role in maintaining a balanced BMI and improving students' physical fitness through regular physical activity. These findings suggest that enhancing motivation can be an important strategy in physical education programs and school health interventions to support active lifestyles in adolescents.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of a combination of plyometric and ladder drill training methods in increasing leg muscle speed, agility, and power. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental type and uses a nonequivalent control group design. Purposive sampling technique was used from 36 trained male students aged 12-16 years old from junior high school 1 to 36 years old badminton students. The research subjects were divided into three groups, namely TR (tuck jump-double leg run), SH (squat jump-double leg hop), and C (conventional exercise), which were divided using matched ordinal pairing. Each group consists of twelve students doing treatment with a frequency of three days a week for six weeks. The research instruments used were the 30-meter sprint, agility T-test, and Jump MD. Data collection was carried out twice during the pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques using Manova and post hoc tests. The Manova test results showed significant differences in the three groups' increasing speed, agility, and leg muscle power simultaneously. The post hoc test showed that the TR and SH groups differed significantly from the C group (p<0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur review yang menelaah hubungan antara emosi (kecerdasan emosional dan emosi prestasi) dan motivasi dalam konteks pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di sekolah. Menggunakan kerangka Torraco, kajian ini menelaah temuan dari jurnal, skripsi, monografi, dan laporan riset untuk mengidentifikasi mekanisme interaksi termasuk regulasi emosi, self-efficacy, kebutuhan otonomi, dan nilai tugas yang memengaruhi partisipasi, keterlibatan, dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mengelola emosi mengurangi kecemasan, meningkatkan ketekunan, dan mempertahankan motivasi intrinsik, sementara motivasi yang kuat mendorong pengembangan kompetensi emosional dan usaha berkelanjutan. Perspektif teoretis seperti Self-Determination Theory, Control–Value, Expectancy–Value, Achievement Goal, dan Social Cognitive Theory menjelaskan jalur konseptual hubungan ini. Implikasi praktis menekankan integrasi pembelajaran sosial-emosional, penciptaan iklim mastery, pemberian otonomi, tantangan bertahap, dan umpan balik berfokus pada usaha untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan hasil PJOK. Kajian ini merekomendasikan intervensi berbasis sekolah, pelatihan guru, pengukuran longitudinal, serta kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung integrasi pembelajaran sosial-emosional dalam kurikulum dan penyediaan sumber daya.

Abstract

Purpose: The accumulation of lactic acid in muscle cells during intense exercise can decrease muscle and blood pH, leading to weakened muscle contractions and fatigue. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of active recovery (jogging) on reducing blood lactate levels after a 400-meter sprint in male college students. Materials and Methods: An experimental study with a randomized control group and a pretest-posttest design was used. Twenty subjects were randomly divided into two groups of 10: a treatment group with active recovery (jogging) and a control group with passive recovery (sitting). Lactate levels were measured twice: after running and after a 5-minute recovery period. Data analysis used in this study included descriptive tests, normality tests, paired-samples t-tests, and independent-samples t-tests. Result: The research results show that active recovery significantly reduces lactate levels from an average of 16.88±3.28 mMol/L to 9.97±1.28 mMol/L, whereas passive recovery reduces them only from 16.55±2.37 mMol/L to 15.63±2.08 mMol/L. The paired t-test results showed a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the two recovery methods. Conclusion: These findings indicate that active recovery is more effective in accelerating the reduction of lactic acid levels, reducing the risk of muscle fatigue, and enhancing athletes' readiness for subsequent training or competitions.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pelatih, guru PJOK, dan masyarakat dalam pembinaan olahraga berbasis teknologi di Kecamatan Sangkapura, Kabupaten Gresik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan, workshop, praktik lapangan, dan pendampingan yang melibatkan kemitraan dengan sekolah serta klub olahraga setempat. Materi mencakup pengenalan sport science, teknik pelatihan, manajemen tim, serta penggunaan aplikasi dan perangkat teknologi untuk analisis performa atlet. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengelola program latihan, menggunakan teknologi olahraga sederhana, dan melakukan evaluasi performa atlet secara lebih objektif. Program ini selaras dengan arah pembangunan Indonesia melalui Asta Cita, khususnya agenda peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan berdaya saing, serta mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), terutama SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) dan SDG 4 (Quality Education). Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kolaborasi antar lembaga dalam mendukung pembinaan olahraga yang lebih modern dan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, program ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi pengembangan ekosistem pembinaan atlet di wilayah Bawean.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of reducing weight, BMI and fat with fun exercise through circuit training. Methods: This research uses a quantitative approach method. This research was conducted at Surabaya State University on March 15 2024 - April 5 2024. 20 students with an average age of 18 - 20 years participated in this research, they were divided into 2 groups, namely 10 students in the circuit training treatment group and 10 students in the circuit training treatment group. 30 minute walking treatment. Training is carried out within 3 weeks carried out 4 times a week. They carry out physical activity in the form of aerobic exercise which consists of exercise stations, namely between 8-16 exercise stations. The exercise is done by moving from post one to post two until the last post. Body composition was carried out using the Tanita scale measuring instrument version BC-545N. The urgency of this research was carried out because there are many teenagers who are obese in Indonesia. Results: The results of this research were that circuit training, which was carried out 4 times a week, and carried out for 3 weeks, was successful in reducing weight, BMI, and FAT. Conclusions: In conclusion, circuit training and walking for 30 minutes has an effect on reducing body weight, BMI and FAT
