Abstract

In response to the growing demand for flexible and high-quality learning, this study developed and tested a contextual and adaptive blended learning model for the Islamic Education Management (MPI) Study Program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The aim was to design a model that aligns with the academic needs of MPI students while incorporating digital tools effectively. Using a Research and Development (R&D) method based on a modified Borg & Gall model, the study progressed through seven stages, from initial analysis to final implementation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test), involving 14 lecturers and two student cohorts in semesters IV and VI. The developed model integrated 60% online and 40% offline learning, using e-knows LMS, Google Meet, YouTube, and project-based learning strategies. Results showed significant improvement in student learning outcomes and increased engagement, as confirmed by t-test analysis. The study concludes that the blended learning model is effective, contextually relevant, and meets the need for adaptive education. Further research is recommended to apply the model in other courses, explore the integration of AI-based technologies, and conduct longitudinal analysis to assess its long-term impact.

Abstract

Religious moderation is crucial in a pluralistic society, but research indicates that some Christians still lack a high level of tolerance among religious communities. The purpose of this study is to provide an understanding of the importance of upholding Pancasila values in everyday life. This is especially true in an interfaith context, where, as human beings, we must be able to coexist with others. An inclusive and moderate attitude is a crucial effort that must be continuously pursued in a broad environment. The writing method used is library research, using books, journals, and websites as supporting references. The results of this study provide a good understanding of the importance of Pancasila values in religious moderation, which contributes to a broader society's ability to live in tolerance. The values of Pancasila serve not only as guidelines but also as a personal identity for each individual. The existence of Pancasila fosters awareness among everyone to live in harmony and respect one another.

Abstract

Technology-based Islamic curriculum reform is a long-term project that needs to be managed through a detailed strategy. To create this strategy, the management team must analyze the current situation by conducting a thorough environmental scan and by identifying gaps between the current state and the desired program. To be implemented, this new program vision will need to rely on creating several potential ways to produce optimal solutions, which may involve some form of innovation. It is true, to generate the most promising ideas, an environment conducive to reflection and experimentation is needed. Throughout the analysis, decision-making and implementation phases, specific activities need to be organized to involve school members. Additionally, these high-impact projects need to include a parallel change management strategy to account for expected human resistance, both individual and collective (internal culture). This article proposes methods and some concrete actions to help leaders and managers support the development and implementation of new and innovative curricula to promote and support the advancement of local professional practice.

Abstract

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the digital era demands that the field of education adapt by creating learning models that are contextual, personalized, and meaningful. One relevant approach to addressing this challenge is Deep Learning, which integrates artificial intelligence with experiential, pedagogy-based methods. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Deep Learning approach in the learning process at Hayat School Bandung SCM (School of Creative Minds) and its impact on the development of 21st-century competencies and student character. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method using techniques such as observation, documentation, and interviews with educators, students, and parents, alongside an analysis of the curriculum and supporting facilities at Hayat School. Data were analyzed inductively to uncover the meanings and transformative practices within the learning process. The findings reveal that the Deep Learning approach is applied through contextual learning, active reflection, meaningful discussions, project-based learning (PjBL), and a personalized curriculum. Teachers, referred to as "Kakak Fasil" (Facilitator Siblings), serve as facilitators who encourage student exploration and self-awareness. This approach proves effective in enhancing critical thinking skills, social empathy, and student spirituality. The discussion highlights that a tauhidullah-based curriculum and inclusive learning facilities support the success of this approach. In conclusion, Deep Learning at Hayat School not only improves academic quality but also shapes holistic individuals who are prepared to face future challenges with a strong internalization of Islamic values.
