Abstract

Management and financial transparency are crucial aspects in realizing accountable governance within educational institutions and fostering public trust. This community service program aims to enhance financial management capacity at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah (MIM) 3 Ngunut Ponorogo, making it more transparent, structured, and aligned with the principles of good governance. The program was implemented through four interconnected stages: program socialization, a workshop on the Model of a School Trusted by the Community, a workshop on management and financial transparency, and intensive mentoring for transparency implementation. The qualitative data analyzed consisted of observation notes, documentation of financial records, questionnaire responses on public trust indicators, outputs from focus group discussions and workshops, and SWOT analysis matrices. SWOT analysis was utilized as an analytical tool to examine internal and external conditions related to financial transparency implementation and to formulate strategic follow-up actions. The program employed a qualitative approach using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) design, emphasizing collaborative problem identification, joint action, and reflective evaluation involving madrasah stakeholders. The results indicate improved administrators’ understanding of financial recording and reporting principles, increased awareness of the importance of public transparency, and a strong institutional commitment to developing a digital-based financial reporting system. Enhanced communication and stakeholder participation also contributed to strengthening public trust between the madrasah, parents, and the wider community. This program contributes to the development of a professional, participatory, and integrity-based governance model for Islamic elementary education institutions and supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 16 (Transparent and Accountable Institutions).

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) real-time monitoring systems commonly rely on centralized cloud-based architectures for data processing and management. Although cloud computing offers flexibility and scalability, its dependency on remote servers often leads to latency issues, especially in local network environments with limited bandwidth and unstable internet connectivity. High latency can negatively affect system responsiveness and reduce the effectiveness of real-time decision-making. This study aims to implement an edge intelligence architecture to reduce latency in local Internet of Things-based monitoring systems. The proposed approach shifts part of the data processing and decision-making tasks to edge nodes located closer to data sources. Sensor data are processed locally using threshold-based analysis before being transmitted to the central server for storage and visualization purposes. System performance is evaluated by comparing latency and response time between a fully cloud-based IoT system and an edge intelligence-based system. The experimental results indicate that local data processing at the edge significantly reduces latency and improves system reliability, particularly in local network conditions. Therefore, the edge intelligence architecture is considered an effective solution for enhancing the performance of IoT monitoring systems that require fast and reliable responses.

Abstract

Abstract

The work process at the shipyard is divided into two types of work, namely new ship building and ship repairing. In the new ship construction activities, eleven stages of work have been involved, such as lifting plates to the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) workshop, cutting plates with CNC waterjet machines, lifting materials using overhead cranes, installation and use of scaffolding, fabrication, assembly panels, manual plate cutting, erection panels, ship interior work, hull painting, and ship launching using CMB (Cimolai Mobile Boat Hauler) machines. Meanwhile, in ship repair activities, there are nine stages of work, namely lifting docking ships to the shipyard using CMB, cleaning plates with water jets, repairing the hull, replacing engines using crawler cranes, repairing superstructures, working on ship interiors, painting using roll paint, and lifting undocking ships to jetty using CMB. All of these activities are considered to have potential hazards that can endanger the safety and health of workers. Therefore, the (PHA)  Preliminary Hazard Analysis method is used because it is considered to be able to provide an initial overview of potential risks in a systematic manner. These risks have been identified through direct observation and the questionnaires to workers involved in the production process. Once a potential hazard is identified, a risk assessment is carried out taking into account the likelihood and severity of the impact. These risks are then classified based on priority levels to determine appropriate controls. Risk control is designed based on the principle of a control hierarchy, starting from hazard elimination and substitution, technical engineering, administrative control, to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Abstract

This study investigates the role of dynamic capabilities as a mediating mechanism that bridges SEO, social media marketing, and Personalization with economic performance. Grounded in the Dynamic Capability Theory and Resource-Based View (RBV), this research aims to understand how digital marketing practices contribute to firm performance in a dynamic business environment. Using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the findings reveal that SEO and social media marketing have a positive and significant impact on dynamic capabilities. At the same time, Personalization does not show a significant effect. Furthermore, dynamic capabilities have a positive and significant influence on economic performance, confirming their strategic importance. Mediation analysis indicates that dynamic capabilities significantly mediate the relationship between SEO and economic performance, as well as between social media marketing and economic performance, but not between Personalization and economic performance. These results highlight that a firm's ability to adapt, integrate, and reconfigure its digital resources is essential to achieving superior economic outcomes. The study contributes to the ongoing discourse on digital transformation and strategic marketing by emphasizing dynamic capabilities as the key mechanism linking digital marketing strategies to economic success.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation of maritime logistics has encouraged ports to adopt integrated information systems to improve efficiency, transparency, and service quality. However, despite the national implementation of port community systems in Indonesia, empirical evidence on how such systems operate at the port level and what factors influence their effectiveness remains limited. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the Inaportnet system and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting digital service improvement at Soekarno–Hatta Port in Makassar. The study employed a qualitative descriptive research design. Data were collected from primary and secondary sources through structured interviews, observation, and documentation. The primary informants included port authority staff, a maritime transportation information system coordinator from the Ministry of Transportation, and a shipping agency representative. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques and a SWOT framework to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to the system’s implementation. The findings indicated that the Inaportnet system had been implemented relatively well and contributed to faster and more transparent port services, including document approval processes that could be completed within approximately 30 minutes after submission. The system also improved efficiency through single submission services, electronic data integration, and reduced administrative errors. However, several challenges remained, including occasional network downtime, technical dependence on central system management, and limited digital capabilities among operators of traditional shipping vessels. The study concludes that while Inaportnet significantly enhances digital port services, further improvements in human resource capacity, infrastructure reliability, and stakeholder digital literacy are essential to achieve fully integrated and sustainable maritime digital services.

Abstract

The tradition of seserahan in Indonesian Muslim society constitutes an important part of the premarital process and carries symbolic, moral, and spiritual meanings. However, in contemporary practice, seserahan is often reduced to a display of prestige, consumption, and social status, thereby obscuring its religious substance. This study aims to reinterpret the tradition of seserahan through the perspective of tauhid and maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, and to examine the extent to which this tradition remains aligned with the principle of maslahah in Muslim family life. This research employs a qualitative systematic literature review of 20 scholarly publications published between 2021 and 2025, selected from relevant academic sources on marriage, premarital traditions, Islamic law, and maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah. The data were analyzed thematically using two analytical parameters, namely tauhid as a spiritual-theological framework and the five essential objectives of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah: hifzh ad-dīn, hifzh an-nafs, hifzh al-‘aql, hifzh an-nasl, and hifzh al-māl. The findings show that seserahan can reflect Islamic values and contribute to the realization of the objectives of sharia when it is practiced proportionally, ethically, and with a worship-oriented intention. At the same time, the literature also indicates a shift in meaning in modern society, where seserahan is frequently shaped by materialism and social pressure. This study concludes that reconstructing seserahan on the basis of tauhid and maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah is necessary in order to restore its function as a medium of moral education, spiritual commitment, and the formation of a sakinah family.
