Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning using the Discovery Learning Learning Model. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the Discovery Learning Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 40.89%, the first cycle 68.87% and in the second cycle increased to 90.32%. Thus, the Discovery Learning Learning Model can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Islamic Education Through the Problem Based Learning Model. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to improve student learning outcomes in developing a character of mutual respect and observation is used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that Learning through the Problem Based Learning Model can improve learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of completeness of improving student ability results in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 45.54%, the first cycle 78.57% and in the second cycle increased to 89.57%. Thus, learning through the Problem Based Learning Model can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract Introduction/Main Objectives: The purpose of this research was to determine effect of female commissioner and COVID-19 pandemic on financial distress in property and real estate companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2022 with liquidity, leverage, operating capacity, and firm size as control variables. Background Problems: Competition and development of property and real estate companies that fluctuate cause high costs that must be faced by companies, but companies that are unable to deal with high costs will experience unstable financial conditions and potentially experience financial distress. Research Methods: Logistic regression analysis method was used in analysing this research. There were 43 companies as samples with the research period 2017-2022 so that sample of 258 observation data was obtained. Finding/Results: Female commissioner significantly effect on financial distress, while COVID-19 pandemic has no effect on financial distress. Conclusion: The existence of female commissioner is worthy of company’s attention because they tend to be careful and make low-risk decisions. Female commissioner is considered capable of providing signals about condition of the company and minimize conflicts of interest to reduce risk of financial distress.

Abstract

Bunga Telang (Clitoria ternatea) merupakan tumbuhan yang merambat sehingga mudah tumbuh dalam kondisi apapun, namun karena minimnya pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan bunga telang yang mengakibatkan tanaman telang ini menjadi terbuang begitu saja.. Bunga telang mengandung pigmen antosianin yang memiliki potensi dikembangkan sebagai pewarna alami lokal pada berbagai produk pangan. Pewarna alami lokal pada berbagai produk pangan selain meningkatkan atribut mutu warna juga dapat memberikan efek antioksidan, antikanker, maupun anti-inflamasi. Warna pada bunga telang selain ungu juga berupa biru dan merah yang disebabkan oleh adanya senyawa antosianin. Antosianin adalah subkelas dari flavonoid yang larut dalam air yang bertanggung jawab atas warna merah, ungu dan biru pada buah, sayuran, sereal, bunga. Sehingga antosianin dapat menjadi pewarna makanan alami, selain itu, antosianin juga dipercaya sebagai antioksidan. Rentang manfaat yang luas menjadikan bunga telang sebagai salah satu bahan potensial baik untuk pangan fungsional maupun nutrasetikal. Pada kegiatan KKN kali ini produk yang sudah dihasilkan dari ekstrak bunga telang adalah puding bunga telang, yogurt bunga telang, teh bunga telang dan klepon bunga telang.

Abstract

studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan tabel dan grafik dalam konteks pembelajaran matematika pada kelas 2 semester 1 di sekolah dasar. Metodologi penelitian melibatkan pendekatan studi kasus terhadap siswa-siswa sekolah dasar yang terlibat dalam penggunaan alat visual ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes evaluasi sebelum dan sesudah penerapan tabel dan grafik, survei terhadap persepsi siswa, serta observasi terhadap keterlibatan siswa selama pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep matematika setelah penggunaan tabel dan grafik. Siswa-siswa juga secara positif merespons alat visual ini, melaporkan bahwa penggunaannya secara konsisten membantu mereka dalam memahami materi matematika dengan lebih baik. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya penggunaan alat visual dalam pembelajaran matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar, serta memberikan rekomendasi bagi pendidik dalam meningkatkan efektivitas metode pengajaran dengan memanfaatkan tabel dan grafik.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menggarisbawahi bahwa penggunaan tabel dan grafik secara efektif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep matematika pada kelas 2 semester 1. Rekomendasi praktis juga disarankan bagi pendidik dalam mengintegrasikan alat visual ini dalam kurikulum pembelajaran, seiring dengan perlunya pelatihan dan pengembangan terus-menerus untuk mengoptimalkan penerapan alat bantu visual dalam proses pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The research looked at the campaign model by using descriptive qualitative research, through the Nowak campaign model approach and Warneryd.The subject of this research consists of Public Health Center Baras 2 Pasangkayu District and the object of the research is the mother who is in charge of health promotion at Public Health Center Baras 2 and breasfeeding mother. The researcher conducted an interview to the officers of Public Health Center which served as a health promotion to convince the pregnant women and breasfeeding mother about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding during 0 months to 6 months. The results of this research have several stages, namely the effect that the campaign is expected to be carried out by Public Health Center to change the mindset of the community to be able to give breast milk to the babies, provide education through dietary counseling, eating behavior and physical activity for pregnant women and mothers breastfeed.

Abstract

Based on the interview with an English teacher at SMK Negeri 1 Kelayang, the textbook used by the teacher to teach English is “Forward an English by Erlangga 2017”. In relation to the students’ understanding of texts, Parekeme and Abgor (2012) state that one of the factors determining students’ understanding of a text is text readability. Thus, this becomes the reason that the researcher decides to conduct this study on analyzing the readability level of selected reading texts in the English Zone textbook for the tenth grade of senior high school students by Penerbit Erlangga to see their readability level. The purpose of this research is to know the readibility level of English Textbook used at the second grade of SMK Negeri 1 Kelayang. There were 25 students as samples of this research. This research used content analysis method with quantitative approach. In collecting the data, the researcher distributed a test called Cloze test. The result was the mean score of the Cloze test was 18. Based on the judgement of the students’ readibility level, the score below 40 is classified as frustration level. In conclusion, that the English textbook at second grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Kelayang is not appropriate for the students.

Abstract

Adolescents are an age group that is vulnerable to nutritional problems, including both undernutrition and overnutrition. Two factors that commonly influence the nutritional status of adolescents are the habit of consuming high-calorie, low-nutrient snacks and low levels of physical activity. This study aims to analyze the relationship between snacking habits and physical activity with the nutritional status of adolescents aged 13 to 18 years in Nunu Subdistrict. This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 1,107 adolescents, with a sample of 91 respondents selected using a cluster sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires, including a Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) and Physical Activity Level (PAL) assessment. The independent variables were snacking habits and physical activity, while the dependent variable was nutritional status. Bivariate analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test. Among the respondents with frequent snacking habits, 70.3% were classified as having excess nutritional status, while 49.3% of those with light physical activity also had excess nutritional status. Overall, 56% of respondents had normal nutritional status, 37.4% had excess nutrition, and 6.6% were undernourished. There was a significant relationship between snacking habits (p = 0.00) and physical activity (p = 0.02) with nutritional status. There is a significant relationship between snacking habits and physical activity with the nutritional status of adolescents aged 13–18 years in Nunu Subdistrict.   ABSTRAK Remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang rentan terhadap masalah gizi, baik gizi kurang maupun gizi lebih. Dua faktor yang sering memengaruhi status gizi remaja adalah kebiasaan konsumsi jajanan yang tinggi kalori dan rendah nutrisi, serta rendahnya aktivitas fisik. tujuan penelitian yaitu Menganalisis hubungan kebiasaan konsumsi jajanan dan aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi pada remaja usia 13–18 tahun di Kelurahan Nunu. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Populasi berjumlah 1.107 remaja, dengan sampel 91 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan kuesioner (FFQ dan PAL). Variabel independen adalah kebiasaan konsumsi jajanan dan aktivitas fisik, sedangkan variabel dependen adalah status gizi. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Responden dengan kebiasaan jajan sering sebanyak 70,3% yang berstatus gizi lebih, dan aktivitas fisik ringan sebesar 49,3% pada status gizi lebih. Status gizi responden menunjukkan 56% gizi normal, 37,4% gizi lebih, dan 6,6% gizi kurang. Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kebiasaan konsumsi jajanan (p=0,00) dan aktivitas fisik (p=0,02) dengan status gizi. Terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan konsumsi jajanan dan aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi remaja.
