Abstract

Geopolitics of Indonesia have been formed since the time of the kingdom of Indonesia that began Sriwijaya and Majapahit. It discusses strategies to Indonesia in maintaining his good- Indonesiaan in social, cultural, geographic, demographic, and Security in accordance with the purpose of the state or the nation's ideals. Therefore, various prerequisites must be met for the achievement of the ideals of the trip was guaranteed, such a precondition is called geo-political, which are briefly formulated in the form of the Wawasan Nusantara. Thus, the role of conception, is in managing natural resources which can be used politically conscious citizenship plus state and nation. State of Indonesia is not just a scientific description but rather a long stake that limit the corridor between the dynamics of our society which is expected in between. When viewed in terms of ideology Pancasila principles are described sila-over descriptions of national ideals and supported by a summary of the core ideas of philosophy and science. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the integration of diversity that exist in Indonesia, let alone be seen from the geographical aspect of Indonesia lies between the two continents of Asia and Australia and two oceans namely the Indian and Pacific oceans are very prone to disintegration. Readings re-geohistoris Globalization and geopolitics have a very important role in regulating the policies put forward in the achievement of National Security of such ideals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrisikan dan menganalisis penerapan nilai-nilai yang termuat dalam sila kedua Pancasila, yaitu Kemanusiaan yang Adil dan Beradab, serta pengaruhnya terhadap pembentukan sikap disiplin siswa di Program Asrama Permata Ihsan Plus, Kecamatan Solear, Kabupaten Tangerang. Nilai-nilai ini dianggap memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa, terutama dalam lingkungan asrama yang menuntut kemandirian, rasa tanggung jawab, dan tingkat disiplin yang tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala program, guru PPKN, pengasuh, dan siswa, serta dokumentasi aktivitas harian di asrama Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa nilai kemanusiaan yang adil dan beradab diterapkan melalui kegiatan harian santri, pembiasaan sopan santun, diskusi nilai, serta teladan pengasuh dan guru. Disiplin santri terbentuk bertahap lewat internalisasi nilai, pengawasan, dan pembinaan berbasis empati. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi perbedaan latar belakang, keterbatasan pengasuh, dan kurangnya evaluasi rutin. Penerapan nilai ini berperan penting membangun disiplin, namun perlu perbaikan strategi dan evaluasi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Background: The emergence of COVID-19 in early 2020 caused high mortality worldwide. The government expects public participation in carrying out vaccines to end the pandemic. The low level of community participation is influenced by people's perceptions of getting the COVID-19 vaccine. This study examines the relationship between perceptions and community participation in the Public Health Center's COVID-19 vaccination program. Method: This study used a quantitative survey with a cross-sectional design. The study is conducted at Rappokalling Health Center, Makassar City, Indonesia. The samples obtained were 269 respondents in each village in the working area of the Public Health Center using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test. Result: The results showed that perceived benefits (P = 0.001) and perceived barriers (P = 0.000) had a relationship with community participation in implementing the COVID-19 vaccination at the Public Health Center. Perceived susceptibility (P = 0.548), perceived severity (P = 0.155), and cues to act (P = 1,000) had no relationship with community participation in implementing the COVID-19 vaccination at the Public Health Center. Conclusion: It can be concluded that perceived benefits and perceived barriers have a relationship with community participation in carrying out the COVID-19 vaccination, while perceptions of vulnerability, seriousness, and cues to act have no relationship with community participation in carrying out the COVID-19 vaccination.

Abstract

The Mekar Makmur Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Ngadipuro Village, Wonotirto District, Blitar Regency, has abundant local coconut potential, but its utilization is still limited to household consumption. In fact, coconut derivative products such as Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) have high added value both economically and health-wise. The community service method is implemented through identification, socialization, technical training on VCO production with a controlled temperature chamber, business management training, and marketing assistance. To support the sustainability of the program, the team also handed over three temperature-controlled chambers and one stainless steel hydraulic coconut milk press to the KWT. ​​The results of the activity showed an increase in members' skills in operating the chamber, the production of a minimum of 5 liters of VCO with better quality according to fatty acid content tests, and the formation of a pilot VCO business unit. The appropriate technology provided has been proven to speed up the extraction process, improve hygiene, and produce clear, long-lasting VCO rich in medium-chain fatty acids. This activity has implications for strengthening the role of women in entrepreneurship based on local potential.

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) products and enhance production facilities were carried out for the Vigur Asri Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Malang City. The main issue faced by the group was consumer complaints regarding rancid VCO products occurring before the expiration date. This problem was presumed to result from high moisture content and air contamination due to inadequate ventilation and hygiene in the production area. To address these issues, a community assistance program was implemented through training on moisture content testing based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 3781:2008) and the reorganization of the production room to improve air circulation. The testing process employed a simple, cost-effective method using an oven and an analytical balance, which was easy for participants to understand and apply. Activity evaluation focused on participants’ ability to follow testing procedures and comprehend product quality standards. The results showed that the VCO’s moisture content was successfully reduced to 0.2%, meeting the maximum limit required by SNI. Furthermore, the improvement of production facilities enhanced product quality and competitiveness. This program positively impacted the group’s capacity to produce high-quality VCO sustainably.

Abstract

Teaching materials are an important aspect of language teaching. Through teaching materials, students can obtain language input so that their language skills can improve. This research aims to describe teaching materials developed for vocational high schools located in Jakarta. This teaching material was created to be taught to vocational school students during 'English Club' activities. This vocational school has two specializations, namely multimedia and computer network engineering. For this research, three chapters of teaching materials were developed based on a needs analysis questionnaire. 48 students completed the questionnaire. The result is that they need materials that include reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills narrowed down to reading texts related to their major, email writing, and presentation skills. Meanwhile, they need a lot of materials related to English vocabulary, especially those related to their majors. The materials devised were then evaluated by four English teachers whose results were discussed in this study.

Abstract

In the realm of B2C (Business to Customer) company marketing, it is imperative to focus on sales and customer satisfaction. To uphold customer contentment, B2C enterprises must strategically position their delivery facilities to optimize efficiency and minimize both time and operational expenditures. PT ABC, a B2C entity specializing in the distribution of packaged goods, currently faces challenges in handling a substantial volume of requests, some of which are situated far from their distribution centers. This predicament leads to elevated fulfillment costs and an inefficient operational process. Consequently, the relocation of distribution center facilities becomes a necessity. The relocation process will be executed employing the P-Median method, facilitated by LINGO software. The P-Median analysis yielded three potential new locations: Cikupa, Jombang Wetan, and Bencongan Indah. Subsequently, further assessment through the resolution of the MTCVRP (Multitrip Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem) with the aid of ArcGIS software was conducted. As a result, Jombang Wetan emerged as the optimal candidate, exhibiting a remarkable reduction of 165.7 kilometers or a 31.33% decrease in average mileage. This choice promises a more efficient and effective product distribution operation.
