Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using animated video learning media on the understanding of science and natural science concepts of grade IV students at SD Negeri 1 Krama Jaya. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design of the nonequivalent control group design type. The sampling technique used in this study is a non-probability sampling technique with a saturated sampling type. The data collection technique used is the test and observation technique. The hypothesis test used is the independent sample t-test. The results of the independent sample t-test obtained a t-count value> table, namely 3.066> 2.026 and a sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, namely 0.004 <0.05, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of animated video learning media on the understanding of science and natural science concepts of grade IV students at SD Negeri 1 Krama Jaya.

Abstract

This study aims to develop comic media for the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject for material on ecosystems for grade V students at SDN 27 Cakranegara. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Hannafin and Peck model approach which includes needs analysis, design, and development and implementation. This study involved all grade V students at SDN 27 Cakranegara, consisting of 35 students and 1 teacher. The results of this study are IPAS comic media containing material on the interaction of biotic and abiotic ecosystems. Based on validation by media experts, this comic obtained an average feasibility percentage of 90.7% and from validation by material experts obtained a percentage of 90%. In addition, the results of small and large scale trials, involving teacher and student responses, indicate that this comic media is included in the very feasible category.

Abstract

Bagek Kembar mangrove ecotourism is a new tourist destination. Therefore, further management is needed by involving the public and related parties. In this regard, a study aimed to analyze public perceptions of ecotourism in the mangrove in Bagek Kembar. Public perception data was collected through a questionnaire combined with interviews. Respondents were determined by purposive technique and grouped into the general public, ecotourism managers, and tourists. Research data were analyzed descriptively and inferential statistics. Interpretation of the average value of respondents' perceptions of the Bagek Kembar mangrove ecotourism is grouped into four categories: low, moderately low, moderately high, and high. The results showed that the public perception of the Bagek Kembar mangrove ecotourism is moderately high (average score of 0.60). Meanwhile, the increase in facilities and infrastructure, as well as access to ecotourism, was perceived by respondents as moderately low, with an average score of 0.49 (facilities and infrastructure) and 0.48 (road access to ecotourism). All respondents (100%) stated that the Bagek Kembar mangrove ecotourism must be further managed and developed. Abstract

Effective program evaluation is a fundamental prerequisite for ensuring quality and accountability in primary education institutions. Consequently, this study aims to analyze the education program evaluation system in elementary schools to improve school management efficiency. The study focuses on three main aspects: identifying weaknesses in the existing evaluation system, analyzing the effectiveness of the evaluation instruments used, and providing strategic recommendations for improving the evaluation system to make it more focused and sustainable. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires to principals, vice principals, teachers, and education personnel (tendik), with a total of 84 respondents. The results show that the existing education program evaluation system still faces various problems, including limitations in indicator standards, a lack of consistency in implementation, and minimal utilization of evaluation results for managerial decision-making. The evaluation instruments used are also not fully effective in describing program achievements, especially in qualitative aspects such as character development and student creativity. These findings emphasize the need to strengthen the evaluation system with clearer standards, comprehensive instruments, and optimal utilization of evaluation results in education program planning. Thus, this study concludes that improving the education program evaluation system in elementary schools is a crucial step in improving school management efficiency. The resulting recommendations can serve as a reference for principals, teachers, and policymakers in developing a more integrated, transparent, and needs-based evaluation system. Through appropriate evaluation, elementary schools can optimize resources, improve the quality of educational services, and support the sustainable achievement of educational goals.

Abstract

The results of the paper quality assessment show that students' writing skills are still relatively low. This fact is that the number of learning facilities is directly proportional to the writing skills that can be achieved by students. The goal is to analyze the quality of students' science research papers through the implementation of these learning facilities. This pre-experiment research will be conducted on students of PGSD Study Program, FKIP, Mataram University. The sample size is determined by purposive sampling. To obtain data, paper documents are assessed using an assessment rubric. There are a total of 23 indicators that are used as a reference to get a score. The scores obtained from these activities are converted into scores that range from 0 - 100. To get an overview of student skills, data analysis using descriptive statistics was conducted. This includes averages and proportions/percentages. As for comparing the effectiveness of the treatment on. The results of the study show that the degree of mastery of students in writing papers is at a quantitative value of 83.47. This quantitative value has an A grade. In addition, the median of the quantitative data is 83.18. This indicates that at least 50% of students have excellent writing skills. The mode value is even higher at 85.00 with a proportion of 29%. Comparative analysis shows a significant difference with p < 0.05, reinforcing the effectiveness of the PBR model combined with learning media. The t-value, ranging from 9.761 to 25.657, indicates that the difference is highly significant and not coincidental. From this data, it can be concluded that the implementation of the PBR model assisted by CTP media is effective in developing the scientific writing skills of PGSD students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab kesulitan belajar membaca permulaan peserta didik kelas 2 SD Negeri 2 Korleko tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Kualitatif  dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru kelas 2 dan  peserta didik kelas 2 yang mengalami kesulitan belajar membaca permulaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan masih banyak peserta didik yang belum mengenal huruf sama sekali atau buta huruf, membedakan bentuk huruf yang bentuknya sekilas mirip, kesulitan dalam merangkai huruf menjadi sebuah kata dan masih banyak peserta didik yang menghilangkan huruf saat mengeja. Faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar membaca permulaan peserta didik kelas 2 kebanyakan disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yaitu keinginan atau minat peserta didik dalam membaca permulaan masih sangat rendah begitu juga dengan motivasi peserta didik dalam membaca permulaan masih sangat rendah (Faktor Psikologis) dan peserta didik juga kurang mendapatkan perhatian atau bekal membaca permulaan dari orang tuanya di rumah atau lingkungan keluarganya karena rata-rata berasal dari latar belakang broken home (Faktor Lingkungan). Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta didik kelas 2 tersebut mengalami kesulitan belajar membaca permulaan.

Abstract

Keanekaragaman capung (Odonata) merupakan indikator biologis yang sensitif terhadap perubahan lingkungan, terutama di kawasan ekowisata yang berpotensi mengalami gangguan antropogenik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola sebaran capung di Kawasan Ekowisata Air Terjun Segenter. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei lapangan dengan teknik Visual Encounter Survey (VES) pada 3 jalur pengamatan yaitu pinggir kawasan, tengah dan jalur air. Identifikasi dilakukan hingga tingkat spesies dan pola sebaran dianalisis menggunakan Indeks Dispersi Morisita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variasi pola sebaran pada sepuluh spesies yang teridentifikasi. Lima spesies (Pseudagrion pruinosum, Orthetrum sabina, Neurothemis ramburi, Diplocodes trivialis, dan Pantala flavescens) menunjukkan sebaran acak (I? ? 1). Dua spesies (Trithemis festiva dan Orthetrum glaucum) menunjukkan sebaran seragam (I? < 1), yang mengindikasikan adanya kompetisi. Tiga spesies (Orthetrum chrysis, Neurothemis fluctuans, dan Anax guttatus) menunjukkan sebaran mengelompok (I? > 1), diduga akibat heterogenitas habitat dan ketersediaan sumber daya yang tidak merata. Disimpulkan bahwa pola sebaran capung di Air Terjun Segenter didominasi oleh sebaran acak, yang merefleksikan interaksi kompleks antara karakteristik biologis spesies dan kondisi lingkungan setempat. Temuan ini dapat menjadi data dasar untuk perencanaan pengelolaan ekowisata yang berkelanjutan dan strategi konservasi keanekaragaman hayati capung.

Abstract

Understanding the environmentally conscious character among PGSD students is very important to encourage sustainable development and environmental education at the elementary level. Environmental education plays a key role in raising awareness and encouraging behavioral changes that support environmental conservation. Elementary school teachers play a strategic role in instilling these values in children from an early age, so their preparation in this field is vital. This fact has prompted surveys on various research subjects. Among these surveys, only a few involve prospective teachers as subjects, and none have covered prospective elementary school teachers. Therefore, this study will explore the environmental awareness knowledge, attitudes, and practices of PGSD students, analyze the relationship between these three variables, and provide recommendations for developing an environmental education-based curriculum. This survey will involve first-year to fourth-year students in the PGSD Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mataram University. The sample size was determined using stratified random sampling. The instruments used were tests and closed questionnaires/surveys with a five-point scale. The data collected will be analyzed descriptively to obtain a classical picture of knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to environmental awareness. The results of the analysis show that PGSD students have good environmental awareness. This is based on the large proportion of students who answered correctly on the knowledge domain test with a dominant proportion, the positive attitude domain with a dominant proportion, and the practice domain with a good frequency with a predominant proportion.

Abstract

Berdasarkan wawancara awal, ditemukan adanya ketidaksesuaian antara tantangan yang dihadapi guru seperti kurangnya pelatihan, keterbatasan waktu merancang pembelajaran, dan variasi kemampuan peserta didik dengan pengalaman peserta didik yang merasa pembelajaran lebih aktif dan kolaboratif. Ketidaksesuaian ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara proses perencanaan pembelajaran dan pengalaman belajar yang dirasakan peserta didik, sehingga diperlukan kajian khusus mengenai persepsi peserta didik terhadap implementasi kurikulum merdeka, khusunya yang berfokus pada pengalaman belajar dan sikap peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi peserta didik kelas IV dan V terhadap implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Gugus 2 Kecamatan Cakranegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pndekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 161 peserta didik yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang memuat dua aspek utama, yaitu pngalaman belajar dan sikap peserta didik terhadap penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji nonparametrim (Mann-Whithey U Test dan Kruskal-Wallis Test) untuk melihat pengaruh faktor demografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi peserta didik terhadap implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka berada pada katehori cukup positif dengan nilai rata-rata 2.29±0.73. Sebagian besar peserta didik memiiki persepsi yang positif (84.4%). Berdasarkan aspek, aspek pengalaman belajar memperoleh nilai rata-rata 2.46±0.65, menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik merasa lebih aktif, terlibat dan nyaman mengikuti pembelajaran berdifrensiasi. Sementara itu, aspek sikap memperoleh nilai rata-rata 2.10±0.76 berada pada kategori cukup positif. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa hanya faktor pekerjaan orang tua yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi, sedangkan faktor demografis lainnya tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi membaca dan menulis sangat penting untuk diterapkan pada jenjang sekolah dasar, karena menjadi salah satu dasar dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan cara berpikir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi membaca dan menulis siswa, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi, serta strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam mendukung program literasi di SDN 42 Ampenan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Berdasarkan hasil tes, kemampuan literasi membaca dan menulis siswa dibagi menjadi empat kategori: mahir, cakap, dasar dan perlu penanganan khusus. Dari 30 siswa, tidak ada siswa yang masuk kategori mahir (0%), 2 siswa yang memperoleh kategori cakap (6,7%), 23 siswa yang memperoleh kategori dasar (76,7%), dan 5 siswa yang memperoleh kategori perlu penanganan khusus (76,7%). Dengan demikian, hasil tes kemampuan literasi siswa menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi membaca dan menulis siswa masih berada pada kategori dasar, dengan nilai rata-rata 46,5. Terdapat dua faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan literasi membaca dan menulis siswa yaitu faktor internal meliputi kurangnya minat siswa dalam literasi membaca dan menulis dan kurangnya kemampuan intelegensi siswa. Sedangkan, faktor eksternal meliputi sarana dan prasarana serta kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan keluarga. Adapun strategi yang dilakukan guru dalam mendukung program literasi membaca dan menulis siswa yaitu dengan pembiasaan literasi dengan menerapkan program "Satu bulan satu buku", menerapkan metode khusus, serta memberikan dukungan dan motivasi terhadap siswa.
