Abstract

The learning process that occurs almost every day certainly needs the creativity of an educator so that students are not bored while learning. Teaching media is one of the solutions in solving the problem because the media includes lessons delivered by the teacher is not understood but with the media can be understood. This research is a snakes and ladders media development research to increase student learning motivation. This research is a 3D media formed with colors and accompanied by questions for Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 7 Alasa. This research was conducted using the ADDIE development model, the subjects of this research were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Alasa. There are two data collection techniques carried out in this study, namely the effectiveness of media engineering and the feasibility of visual communication aspects obtained through learning outcomes, student responses to learning media; practicality, obtained from assessment instruments. The results showed that the average value of media engineering effectiveness was 93% which means "very feasible" and the feasibility of visual communication aspects obtained 89% which means "very feasible".

Abstract

Although learning Indonesian is a required topic at school, many students despise the subject since the learning process is so tedious. A way to raising students' interest in learning about Indonesian language subjects is the availability of a learning model based on local wisdom. The feasibility test results for the research and development (R&D) development model obtained an 87% percentage and a 97% practicality test result, indicating that it was practicable to apply this learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the meaning and moral values contained in the lyrics of Nias folk songs "Ae Halõdo Paci Dan Lato-Lato" by Markus Halawa. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The data collection stage is using primary data and literature study. After collecting data, the next step is the data analysis stage, namely reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Then the data is reviewed descriptively and the presentation of the results of data analysis is presented in the form of descriptions of words by providing explanations about the lyrics of Nias folk songs "Ae Halödo Paci and Lato-Lato" by Markus Halawa. The results of the study indicate that there are three types of moral aspects, namely (1) Human relationships with God, namely Help; (2) Human relationships with themselves, namely Honest, Remembering, Strong, Confident, Promising, Sincere, Sad, Steadfast, Accepting Reality, and Hoping; (3) Human relationships with others, namely comforting, begging, believing, advice, honesty with circumstances, and messages.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the factors that hinder the learning process of students in the scientific writing course at the University of Nias, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, during the sixth semester. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach and involves 23 students as respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that internal factors such as learning motivation, interest in learning, learning skills, cognitive abilities, and physical and mental health have a significant impact on students' learning outcomes. External factors such as family support, economic conditions, campus environment, teaching methods of lecturers, and campus facilities also affect the learning process. Generally, it was found that although most students have good learning and cognitive abilities, there are several challenges affecting their motivation, interest, and physical and mental health. External factors, such as inadequate campus facilities, uncomfortable learning environments, and ineffective teaching methods by lecturers, also contribute to hindering students' learning. This research emphasizes the importance of the campus providing sufficient support through guidance and counseling programs to help students overcome their learning difficulties, so they can achieve better learning outcomes and meet their academic goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sawo. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research instruments used were interviews and documentation. The research object used is the effectiveness of the implementation of the independent curriculum. The subjects in this study were the principal, 3 teachers and 6 students. The data sources used in this research are primary data sources. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and data verification / conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sawo is effective.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the impact of addiction to the Mobile Legend application among Semester Vi Literature Language Education students The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The data collection stage is that data can be used in various ways. The data collected is in the form of collecting primary data. For the main literature study in the data collection method is to use the documentation method. After collecting data, the next step is the data analysis stage, namely inductive qualitative data analysis, data presentation, and conclusions. Then the data is reviewed descriptively and the presentation of the results of data analysis is presented in the form of interview results by explaining the impact of addiction to the Mobile Legend application among 6th semester literature language education students. Aspects of Motivational Value Namely Game Addicts What is Motivated Namely Filling Free Time and Entertainment, Interesting Features and Social Environments that Encourage Playing, Building Relationships and Social Interaction with Friends; (2) Advantages with Yourself Namely Recognition in the Game and Potential Income from Content, Making New Friends and Opportunities to Participate in Tournaments, Training Communication in Teams and Entertainment; (3) Negative Impacts Difficulty Managing Time, Irregular Eating and Sleeping Patterns, and Increased Emotions, Wasting Time, Health Problems, and Decreased Academic Achievement, Health Problems, Lack of Sleep, and Spending Money. As a result, playing Mobile Legends provides some positive impacts such as entertainment, skill enhancement, and income opportunities.

Abstract

The author's aim in conducting this research is to provide an understanding of the use of standard and non-standard language by Indonesian language lecturers and students, class B semester VI, within the scope of Nias University. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects of the research were Indonesian language lecturers and students, class B, sixth semester with the object being the use of standard and standard language at Nias University. Then the research instrument is used to assess the results through an assessment rubric. The assessment rubric starts from how to use standard and non-standard language, as well as how to pronounce it. After that, the technique used in data collection is observation, which involves direct observation by taking videos to be recorded as evidence. Then the Descriptive data analysis is used to provide an overview of standard and non-standard use. language by lecturers and students. As a result, the use of standard language is more dominantly used by lecturers than students, this is because the use of non-standard language is too inherent, which is triggered by increasingly advanced developments.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the types of spelling and grammatical errors found in the scientific work of students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. This research uses qualitative methods with a data analysis approach. The data collection procedure in this research was carried out using the reading and note-taking method. The results of the research show that the articles of Indonesian language and literature education study program students are classified into three categories, namely (1) writing 24 basic words, (2) writing 9 words with affixes, (3) writing 19 words in capital letters, (4) writing 3 words of numbers and numbers, (5) writing 10 words of pronouns, (6) writing 3 words of loanwords, (6) writing 4 words in italics, (7) using 1 word sentences, (8) use of 5 words of punctuation, (9) use of 11 words.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of interactive learning applications at Idanoi Private Middle School. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 100 students in grades VII and VIII. The research results show that the majority of students (80%) have used interactive learning applications, with the most frequently used applications being Google Classroom (50%), YouTube (40%), and Khan Academy (10%). The main motivation for students to use interactive learning applications is to help them understand lesson material (70%), increase interest in learning (20%), and complete assignments (10%). The main obstacles to using interactive learning applications are limited internet access (40%), lack of knowledge about interactive learning applications (30%), and expensive costs (20%). Based on the research results, it was concluded that interactive learning applications have the potential to improve the quality of learning at Idanoi Private Middle School.
