Abstract

ABSTRAKKabupaten Gowa merupakan wilayah di Sulawesi Selatan yang kaya akan budaya Bugis-Makassar, namun belum memiliki fasilitas representatif untuk pelestarian dan pengembangan budaya lokal secara berkelanjutan. Studi ini merancang sebuah Pusat Kebudayaan dan Seni Lokal dengan pendekatan eco-cultural yang menggabungkan prinsip keberlanjutan lingkungan dengan pelestarian nilai budaya lokal. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi tapak, wawancara, studi literatur, serta analisis sosial dan ekologis sebagai dasar perancangan. Hasil desain menunjukkan integrasi lima prinsip eco-cultural—image of space, environmental knowledge, building image, technologies, dan idealized concept of place—ke dalam bentuk arsitektur yang adaptif terhadap iklim tropis serta simbolik terhadap budaya Bugis-Makassar. Zona fungsional disusun secara fleksibel untuk menunjang aktivitas edukasi, pertunjukan, dan interaksi sosial, sementara bentuk bangunan terinspirasi dari topi Patonro dan kipas tradisional. Desain ini tidak hanya menghasilkan fasilitas budaya yang fungsional dan kontekstual, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai ruang edukasi dan refleksi ekologis. Dengan demikian, pusat kebudayaan ini berperan penting dalam mendukung kontinuitas budaya dan kesadaran lingkungan masyarakat Gowa, serta menjadi model arsitektur berkelanjutan berbasis lokal di Indonesia. ABSTRACTGowa Regency in South Sulawesi is rich in Bugis-Makassar cultural heritage but lacks a representative facility for the sustainable preservation and development of local culture. This study designs a Local Cultural and Arts Center using an eco-cultural approach that combines environmental sustainability principles with the preservation of local cultural values. The methods used include site observation, interviews, literature studies, and socio-ecological analysis as the foundation for design development. The design results demonstrate the integration of five eco-cultural principles—image of space, environmental knowledge, building image, technologies, and idealized concept of place—into architectural forms that are adaptive to the tropical climate and symbolically reflective of Bugis-Makassar culture. Functional zones are organized flexibly to support educational, performance, and social interaction activities, while the building form is inspired by the traditional Patonro headgear and cultural fan motifs.This design not only provides a functional and contextually relevant cultural facility but also serves as an educational space and ecological reflection. Therefore, the cultural center plays a vital role in supporting cultural continuity and environmental awareness in the Gowa community and serves as a model for locally based sustainable architecture in Indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendekatan arsitektur ekologis dipilih karena mampu menciptakan lingkungan binaan yang sehat, berkelanjutan, dan mendukung proses penyembuhan pengguna (NAPZA). Lingkungan fisik yang nyaman dan alami diyakini dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kondisi psikologis dan emosional pasien rehabilitasi. Penataan massa bangunan dirancang menyatu dengan kontur dan kondisi alam sekitar untuk meminimalkan kerusakan lingkungan. Ruang terbuka hijau dimanfaatkan sebagai area terapi luar ruang yang mendukung aktivitas refleksi dan pemulihan mental. Konsep sirkulasi udara alami diterapkan untuk menciptakan kualitas udara dalam ruang yang lebih baik dan menyehatkan. Selain itu, desain bangunan memperhatikan orientasi matahari untuk mengurangi konsumsi energi buatan. Fasilitas pendukung seperti ruang konseling, ruang ibadah, dan area kegiatan dirancang dengan suasana yang tenang dan privat.. Dengan pendekatan ini, pusat rehabilitasi diharapkan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat pemulihan fisik, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembinaan mental dan spiritual. Hasil perancangan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan fasilitas rehabilitasi berbasis arsitektur berkelanjutan di Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Arsitektur Ekologi, Pusat Rehabilitasi, Narkoba, Lingkungan Sosial, Kabupaten Bulukumba. ABSTRACTThe Ecological Architecture approach was chosen because it can create a healthy, sustainable built environment that supports the healing process of drug users (NAPZA). A comfortable and natural physical environment is believed to have a positive influence on the psychological and emotional state of rehabilitation patients. The building's massing is designed to blend with the contours and natural conditions of the surrounding area to minimize environmental damage. Green open spaces are utilized as outdoor therapy areas that support reflection and mental recovery activities. The concept of natural air circulation is implemented to create better and healthier indoor air quality. Furthermore, the building design takes into account solar orientation to reduce artificial energy consumption. Supporting facilities such as counseling rooms, prayer rooms, and activity areas are designed to create a calm and private atmosphere. The use of water and vegetation elements also function as therapeutic elements that enhance visual and psychological comfort. With this approach, the rehabilitation center is expected to function not only as a place for physical recovery, but also as a means of mental and spiritual development. Abstract

Transformation geometry is an important topic in mathematics education. However, undergraduate instruction is often abstract and focused on procedures, which limits students’ conceptual understanding. Project-Based Learning and ethnomathematics are known to support meaningful learning. Nevertheless, studies that integrate ethnomathematics into a Project-Based Learning framework for teaching transformation geometry in mathematics education programs are still limited. This study aims to develop and evaluate an ethnomathematics-based PjBL model to improve students’ understanding of transformation geometry. The research employed a research and development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, encompassing the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The study was conducted with second-year undergraduate students enrolled in a Transformation Geometry course in the Mathematics Education program at Universitas PGRI Palembang. Ethnomathematical contexts drawn from local cultural practices, such as weaving patterns, wood carving motifs, and traditional architecture, were integrated into project-based learning activities. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, pretest–posttest instruments, observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The results indicate that the developed learning model is valid, as evidenced by expert assessments of content, pedagogy, and media; practical, based on high levels of implementation and positive student responses; and effective, as shown by significant improvements in students’ transformation geometry learning outcomes. These findings suggest that integrating PjBL with ethnomathematics offers a contextually grounded and pedagogically robust approach to enhancing conceptual understanding of transformation geometry at the undergraduate level. Abstrak Geometri transformasi merupakan topik penting dalam pendidikan matematika. Namun, pembelajaran pada jenjang perguruan tinggi masih sering bersifat abstrak dan berfokus pada prosedur, sehingga membatasi pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa. Project-Based Learning dan etnomatematika telah dikenal mampu mendukung pembelajaran yang bermakna. Meskipun demikian, penelitian yang mengintegrasikan etnomatematika ke dalam kerangka Project-Based Learning untuk pembelajaran geometri transformasi pada program pendidikan matematika masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi model Project-Based Learning berbasis etnomatematika guna meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap geometri transformasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa semester dua yang mengikuti mata kuliah Geometri Transformasi pada Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika di Universitas PGRI Palembang. Konteks etnomatematika yang bersumber dari praktik budaya lokal, seperti motif tenun, ukiran kayu, dan arsitektur tradisional, diintegrasikan ke dalam kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli, instrumen pretest–posttest, lembar observasi, dan angket respons mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan bersifat valid berdasarkan penilaian ahli terhadap aspek materi, pedagogik, dan media; praktis berdasarkan tingkat keterlaksanaan yang tinggi dan respons positif mahasiswa; serta efektif yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan hasil belajar geometri transformasi mahasiswa secara signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi Project-Based Learning dengan etnomatematika menawarkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan kuat secara pedagogis untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual geometri transformasi pada jenjang perguruan tinggi.
