Abstract

This study aims to develop a Canva based Wordwall learning media and analyze its feasibility and effectiveness in increasing the learning interest of fourth-grade students at MI Nurul Hasanah, Makassar City. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 22 fourth-grade students and 1 class teacher. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Qualitative data were obtained from suggestions and input from material experts, media experts, and respondents, while quantitative data were analyzed using a Likert scale and descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that students' need for learning media is in the high category, with 72.73% of students categorized as very needy and 27.27% categorized as needy. The resulting product is a Canva-based Wordwall learning media that was systematically developed according to the ADDIE stages. The results of the feasibility test show that the media is categorized as very feasible, with a percentage of assessment by material experts of 85.93% and media experts of 89.58%. In addition, the use of this media has been proven to increase student learning interest, as indicated by an increase in scores from 1105 before use to 1705 after use. It can be concluded that the Canva-based Wordwall media is feasible and effective to be used as an interactive learning alternative to increase student learning interest in science subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

Profitability is an important indicator for assessing the ability of Islamic commercial banks to manage their capital and operational activities. However, research specifically examining the effects of capital adequacy and operational efficiency on the return on equity of Islamic commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2023–2025 period remains limited. This study aims to analyze the effects of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) on Return on Equity (ROE). This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The sample consisted of four Islamic commercial banks selected from a population of 13 banks through purposive sampling, yielding 12 observations. Secondary data in the form of annual financial statements were collected through documentation and analyzed using descriptive statistics, panel data regression model selection, assumption testing, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that CAR had a positive and significant effect on ROE, whereas BOPO had a negative and significant effect on ROE. Simultaneously, CAR and BOPO had a significant effect on ROE. These findings confirm that improving the profitability of Islamic commercial banks requires productive management of capital adequacy and consistent control of operating costs. Theoretically, this study strengthens the understanding of the relationships among capital structure, operational efficiency, and Islamic bank profitability, while practically, it provides a basis for bank management to optimize capital utilization and improve operational efficiency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pedagogik guru dalam mengidentifikasi minat dan potensi peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan studi pustaka. Narasumber penelitian terdiri dari dua guru mata pelajaran PPKn, yaitu Ibu Marini Boru Siregar, S.Pd. dan Ibu Vida Nasution, S.Pd. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran pedagogik guru sangat penting dalam mengenali minat dan potensi peserta didik. Guru mengidentifikasi minat dan potensi melalui observasi selama proses pembelajaran, komunikasi langsung, evaluasi hasil belajar, serta keterlibatan peserta didik dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Minat belajar peserta didik terlihat dari antusiasme, keaktifan, dan keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran, sedangkan potensi peserta didik tampak melalui kemampuan akademik dan non-akademik yang dimiliki secara konsisten. Guru juga berperan sebagai pembimbing, fasilitator, dan motivator dalam membantu peserta didik mengembangkan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya kendala, seperti keterbatasan waktu, jumlah peserta didik yang banyak, serta kurangnya keterbukaan peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru dan dukungan sekolah agar proses identifikasi potensi peserta didik dapat berjalan optimal

Abstract

The problem of this research is the low level of critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in social studies content. The solution to overcome this problem is to use the PELANGI model in the learning process. The aim of this research is to analyze critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in social studies content. This research used a qualitative and quantitative approach with the type of classroom action research (PTK) and was carried out in 3 meetings. This research was carried out in class IV at SDN Hilir Mesjid which consisted of 11 students. The research results show that critical thinking skills obtained a percentage of 82% with the criteria "very skilled" and student learning outcomes with a percentage of 91% with the criteria "complete". Based on the data and results of this research, it can be concluded that the application of the PELANGI model (Problem Based Learning, Think Pair Share, Talking Stick) can help improve critical thinking skills and have a good impact on student learning outcomes

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low activity and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Mathematics at SDN Mawar 7 Banjarmasin. Only 9 out of 25 students (36%) achieved the minimum mastery criteria (KKTP) of 70, with a class average of 44. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed to improve student activity and learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The study was conducted collaboratively in two cycles, involving 25 fifth-grade students during the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through observation, written tests, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive comparative methods. The results showed significant improvement: student activity increased from 52% (Quite Active) in Cycle I to 84% (Very Active) in Cycle II. Learning outcomes improved from 36% in the pre-cycle to 52% in Cycle I, and reached 80% in Cycle II, meeting the established success indicator. These findings demonstrate that the PBL model effectively creates an active, collaborative, and meaningful learning environment that enhances both student participation and academic performance in Mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode storytelling berbantuan media digital interaktif terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eskperimen yaitu True Eksperimental Design dengan desain penelitian Posttest Only Control Group Desain. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu kelas seluruh kelas V di SD N 98 Palembang yang berjumlah 86 siswa sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 58 siswa. Pemilihan sample menggunakan sampel metode Simple Random Sampling dan sampel terbagi menjadi 2 yaitu sampel kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode storytelling berbantuan media digital interaktif, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran biasa . Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan literasi membaca dan dokumentasi. Instrument yang digunakan sudah mememuhi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan yaitu independent simple t-test dengan syarat data harus memenuhi uji prasyarat yaitu uji homogenitas dan normalitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh terhadap metode storytelling berbantuan media digital interaktif terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca siswa sekolah dasar

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived ease of use and security risk on transaction decisions using the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among Generation Z and Baby Boomers in Jambi City. The study employed a quantitative approach using primary data collected through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, coefficient of determination, and Mann-Whitney test. The results show that perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect on QRIS transaction decisions, while security risk has no significant partial effect. Simultaneously, perceived ease of use and security risk significantly affect transaction decisions. In addition, there are differences between Generation Z and Baby Boomers in perceived ease of use and transaction decisions, but no significant difference in security risk. These findings indicate that improving ease of use and strengthening transaction security remain important to increase public acceptance of QRIS.

Abstract

Curriculum is a fundamental component in the provision of education because it serves as a guide for achieving learning objectives. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), curriculum functions not only as a means of transferring knowledge but also as an instrument for building students' character, morals, and spirituality. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic Religious Education curriculum principles in the Qur'an-Hadith subject at MTs PPTI Tamo. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with document analysis and observation of learning implementation. The research focuses on the application of the principles of relevance, flexibility, continuity, efficiency, and effectiveness in Qur'an-Hadith learning. The results show that the principle of relevance is the most dominant, as the learning material is linked to students' real lives, particularly in the context of environmental preservation and the formation of Islamic character. The principles of flexibility, continuity, and efficiency have been applied fairly well through the adjustment of learning methods and the use of digital technology. The principle of effectiveness has not been optimally achieved due to limited learning time and differences in students' abilities to reach memorization targets. This study also found the integration of local Mandar community values in curriculum implementation, making learning more contextual and meaningful. These findings indicate that the implementation of the PAI curriculum at MTs PPTI Tamo has accommodated the needs of students and the local socio-cultural environment, although further pedagogical innovation is still needed to improve the effectiveness of achieving curriculum objectives.

Abstract

Deep learning is a pedagogical approach that emphasizes the holistic cognitive, emotional, and social engagement of learners so that the understanding formed is meaningful and sustainable, in line with the direction of national curriculum policy that encourages learning oriented towards deep conceptual understanding rather than mere surface-level content mastery. This study aims to analyze the readiness level of Indonesian Language Teacher Professional Education (PPG) students in implementing deep learning in schools, covering conceptual knowledge, pedagogical readiness, and psychological readiness. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey design involving PPG Indonesian Language students. Data were collected through a validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaire, supported by semi-structured interviews. The results indicate that students' overall readiness level falls into the moderately ready category, with conceptual knowledge showing the highest achievement and differentiated learning practice readiness showing relatively lower achievement. Factors influencing readiness include teaching experience, training intensity, and support from supervising lecturers and partner schools. This study recommends strengthening field practice programs and continuous case-study-based training to improve PPG students' readiness in effectively implementing deep learning in the classroom.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce has driven changes in consumer behavior when making purchasing decisions, including on the Shopee platform. However, research specifically examining trust and perceived risk within the context of the community of Paal V Urban Village, Kota Baru, Jambi, remains limited. This study aimed to analyze the effects of trust and perceived risk on purchasing decisions in Shopee e-commerce. The study employed a quantitative approach with a survey design. The respondents consisted of 100 Shopee users selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results showed that trust had a significant effect on purchasing decisions (p < 0.001). Perceived risk also had a significant effect on purchasing decisions (p = 0.030). Simultaneously, trust and perceived risk had a significant effect on purchasing decisions in Shopee e-commerce. These findings confirm that trust and perceived risk are important factors in shaping consumers’ purchasing decisions on digital platforms. This study contributes to expanding research on digital consumer behavior within the context of a local community. In practical terms, e-commerce operators and sellers need to strengthen consumer trust and manage perceived risk by providing secure, transparent, and reliable services.
