Abstract

Selama penelitian ini suhu bekisar antara 26,9 - 29 oC, pH 6,8 - 8,2 dan DO 6,8 - 8,1 mg/ L.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of salinity reduction in the rate of oxygen consumption and growth grouper (E. tauvina). The research was conducted on April 22 to May 22, 2015. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Aquatic Hatchery and Technology, Department of Aquaculture Faculty of Agriculture, University Malikussaleh. The study design used was completely randomized design (CRD) with three replication and five treatments followed by Tukey if there is a difference. The treatments were as follow: treatment A (27 ppt), B (24 ppt), C (21 ppt), D (18 ppt) and E (15 ppt). Parameters measured were oxygen consumption rate, weight gain, length and survival rate. The results showed that oxygen consumption is highest in the carrying out of  E (15 ppt) is 0,987±0,085 mgO2/gr/h and the lowest in treatment A (27 ppt) is 0,612±0,033 mgO2/gr/h. Weight gain, length and survival rate is highest in treatment B (24 ppt) are respectively 1,231±0,153 gr, 0,970±0,083 cm and 90,476 %. During this study the temperature ranged between 26,9 - 29 oC, pH 6,8-8,2 and DO 6,8-8,1 mg/L.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of multi-gender roles within the Karya Maju Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Bener Meriah Regency, particularly with the management of Gayo coffee cultivation. Despite KWT being administratively overseen by women, this research identified that men's contributions remain substantial in facilitating physical labor, including land cultivation and the transportation of agricultural goods. This study employs a qualitative methodology utilizing in-depth interviews and participant observation to analyze patterns of gender involvement in KWT. The research findings indicate that while men's participation is not formally organized within the KWT framework, their presence illustrates the interdependence between women's managerial positions and men's physical labor. The incorporation of gender roles in KWT could enhance the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural enterprises, although it has not been adequately addressed in current regulations. This research concludes that KWT Karya Maju serves as a forum for women's empowerment and a platform for collaboration between women and men to enhance the welfare of agricultural families. This research advocates for the implementation of more inclusive and adaptable policies to address gender roles in the agricultural sector, hence enhancing organizational effectiveness and the sustainability of coffee production.

Abstract

Economic development in rural Indonesia heavily relies on the agricultural sector, including the production of bananas and coffee. Bener Meriah Regency is one of the key production centers in this sector. The success of agricultural enterprises is not only determined by economic and technical factors but also by social capital, which includes social networks, trust, and community norms. This study examines the interaction between gender dynamics and social capital in the context of banana and coffee enterprises in KWT Karya Maju, Bener Meriah Regency. Gender inequality often hinders women's access to social capital on an equal footing with men, affecting the sustainability of the enterprise. This research adopts a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that men have broader access to influential social networks, while women are often restricted by social norms and smaller local networks. This inequality impacts production efficiency and market opportunities. Gender-sensitive interventions are needed to expand women's social networks and enhance their participation in decision-making processes. The study concludes that the sustainability of enterprises depends on both social capital and gender equality in its utilization.

Abstract

The main causes of stunting can be caused by a lack of nutrition and nutritional intake as a child's needs, off-base child rearing designs due to need of information and instruction for pregnant ladies and breastfeeding moms, lacking sanitation within the living environment such as need of clean water offices and inaccessibility of can offices and constrained get to. wellbeing offices required for pregnant ladies, breastfeeding mothers and toddlers. Malnutrition is a global issue. It is therefore important to have a health communication strategy when providing health information to the community. Using receptivity theory to communicate health information can be a long-term strategy to reduce the prevalence of stunting. There are several receptive analysis strategies that can be implemented to reduce the prevalence of stunting, including individual acceptability in processing information, provision of appropriate information in terms of language, acceptability in understanding media preferences, development of environmental perception factors, dissemination of credible information in influencing the community, and evaluation of information in stunting information dissemination strategies.
