Abstract

Currently, we live in the digital era 5.0, which requires us to quickly adapt to technological developments. Life in the 21st century also demands that we possess skills to improve the quality of human resources, one of which is critical thinking. This skill can be developed and is influenced by many factors, including education. This research aims to determine the correlation between the roles of parents, teachers, and parenting patterns as forms of formal and non-formal education in enhancing critical thinking skills. To identify this correlation, a qualitative literature review method was used in this study. The conclusion is that teachers, parents, and parenting patterns are interconnected and mutually supportive in developing children's thinking abilities. As a result, children will be prepared to face globalization and be able to compete with others in many areas in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of social media use on learning outcomes among high school students and the role of bullying behavior as a mediator in social interactions. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey technique involving 100 purposely selected high school students. Data were collected through closed questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis and determination coefficient tests. The results indicate that social media use significantly affects student learning outcomes (β = 0.595; p < 0.05), although its contribution is relatively small (R² = 0.039). Furthermore, a strong positive relationship was found between the intensity of social media use and bullying behavior (R² = 0.765), particularly in verbal, relational, and cyberbullying forms. Bullying behavior also acts as a mediator that strengthens the negative impact of social media on students' social interactions. These findings suggest that while social media has the potential as a learning tool, uncontrolled use can increase the risk of bullying behavior and disrupt social relationships in the school environment. The study emphasizes the importance of digital literacy, supervision of social media use, and school-based bullying prevention programs to optimally support students' academic and social development.

Abstract

This article examines the fundamental role of peers in students' social development at school and highlights the importance of guidance and counseling services to support the improvement of their interactions. The background of the problem includes high rates of aggressive behavior such as bullying and suboptimal interpersonal communication skills in students, which can potentially hinder social adjustment and academic achievement. The purpose of this study is to present a systematic review of the effectiveness of interventions to help students interact, specifically group learning services, in increasing positive interactions among students. The method used was a literature review of various scientific articles and research findings, including guidance actions in guidance and counseling and correlational studies focusing on peer relationships at the high school level. The results showed that group guidance interventions proved significant in various aspects, ranging from communication skills and learning motivation to social etiquette and reducing deviant behavior such as bullying. The correlational study also confirmed the relationship between interpersonal communication and student trust. The conclusion of this review is that every student needs group guidance assistance, which is an effective and practical strategy for guidance and counseling teachers to create a healthy, cooperative, and constructive interaction environment in schools.

Abstract

Creativity is an innate ability in every individual, not something that is acquired from external sources. For the material presentation system, the use of technology is very important as a means to design, review, assess development results, and apply learning materials effectively. Technology helps facilitate this process, thereby improving the quality of teaching and learning. This article aims to discuss the use of Canva in increasing the creativity of high school students. The method used is qualitative media, namely a literature review of articles published between 2020 and 2025, using Google Scholar and Publish or Perish to search for relevant articles. The results of the study describe that Canva can play a role in supporting students' creativity to support learning and improve students' skills, supported by a sufficient surrounding environment. Areas that do not yet have adequate technological facilities are expected to be a concern for the government in providing adequate facilities so that no gaps arise. In conclusion, Canva supports students in increasing their creativity, and there are many aspects that support improvements in learning and social aspects.
