Abstract

The background of this study is the crucial role of transformational leadership in fostering OCB in the chemical manufacturing industry, which faces significant challenges related to safety and quality of work. QWL and organizational commitment are considered mediating factors that can strengthen the influence of leadership on OCB in this work environment. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on employee OCB in the chemical manufacturing sector of Cilegon City, simultaneously assessing the mediating roles of QWL and organizational commitment. The research method employed is quantitative using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM). Data were collected via questionnaires distributed to 300 permanent employees across five chemical manufacturing companies in Cilegon City. Path analysis was conducted to test the direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that transformational leadership significantly affects OCB both directly and indirectly through the mediation of QWL and organizational commitment. Moreover, QWL significantly influences organizational commitment and OCB. These variables collectively explain 87.2% of the variance in employee OCB. The conclusion highlights the importance of developing transformational leadership and enhancing QWL and organizational commitment to improve OCB in the chemical manufacturing industry. Practical implications suggest the need for integrated programs combining leadership development, QWL, and organizational commitment to foster sustainable organizational performance.

Abstract

Educational technology in its contribution to the management and learning of education is opening up knowledge horizons about changing strategic environments. We need the growth of science and technology caused by learning and learning activities of innovation. Speaking in this case is inadequate because the concept of technological studies provides a formula for how to bring teaching and learning activities. Then, the application of educational technology, especially ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in education to overcome learning problems has a number of requirements. For example, the need for large investment costs and energy that are skilled in managing and developing education and utilizing technological advancements that will support the process of learning. It is noteworthy that education is a long-term investment. Therefore, investment in basic education facilities must be calculated with future educational outcomes

Abstract

This study examines how the integration of persuasive communication and artificial intelligence (AI) in digital marketing can enhance the competitiveness of honey‑based agritourism micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), using Big Bee Farm in Thailand as a community‑service case. While previous work highlights the potential of AI‑driven marketing, few studies explicitly address how suggestive, story‑based communication strategies and human–technology collaboration shape MSME competitiveness in agritourism contexts, leaving a notable gap between technological adoption and strategic communication design. This study aimed to design and implement an integrated community‑service program that combined suggestive‑communication training, AI‑based digital marketing tools, and participatory mentoring to strengthen marketing capacity and global competitiveness. The activity employed a participatory, experiential‑learning design, involving farm managers, marketing staff, and tour guides, and applied qualitative and descriptive‑quantitative methods, including needs assessment, training modules, hands‑on AI workshops, mentoring, and pre‑post evaluations. The findings showed that participants improved their ability to craft persuasive, emotionally engaging messages, adopted AI tools for content generation, chatbot support, and market analysis, shifted from conventional to integrated, data‑driven promotion, and reported higher tourist engagement and sales potential. Theoretically, these results support a human‑centric perspective on digital transformation, where AI functions as an augmenting resource when aligned with strategic communication. Practically, the study provides a replicable model for community‑service programs seeking to strengthen MSME competitiveness through a holistic integration of technology, communication, and collaboration.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve the capacity of teachers and education staff in implementing an integrated quality dashboard system based on cloud computing to support the acceleration of school re-accreditation at SDN Negeri Bayongbong, Pontang District, Serang Regency. The activity was conducted in September 2025 using participatory training, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation approaches. The program focused on strengthening the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) through digital transformation in school administration and quality management. The results showed significant improvements in participants’ understanding and skills regarding cloud-based document management, digital quality monitoring, and integrated dashboard operation. The implementation of the quality dashboard system increased administrative efficiency, simplified access to accreditation documents, and supported real-time monitoring of educational quality standards. In addition, the activity contributed to strengthening a digital-based quality culture within the school environment. The mentoring process also enabled participants to independently manage accreditation data and educational quality documents through a centralized cloud computing system. Overall, the program successfully supported the school’s readiness for re-accreditation while promoting effective, efficient, and sustainable digital governance in primary education management.

Abstract

Women's economic empowerment through micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) constitutes a cornerstone of inclusive growth in the ASEAN region, yet persistent structural barriers such as limited digital literacy, technology access, and cross-border networks hinder women entrepreneurs' participation in the digital economy. While prior initiatives emphasize isolated AI applications or networking, a notable research gap exists in structured models integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with collaborative frameworks to foster sustainable microbusiness ecosystems. This community service study addressed this gap by implementing the ASEAN Womenpreneurs Connect: AI-Powered Microbusiness Collaboration Network at Big Bee Farm, aiming to enhance women micro-entrepreneurs' capacities via technology-driven empowerment and regional collaboration. Employing a Participatory Action Research (PAR) design, the program purposively sampled ASEAN women micro-entrepreneurs facing digital constraints and unfolded through four phases: needs assessment, AI training (e.g., chatbots, content generators), cross-border workshops, and digital network simulations. Data from pre/post-tests, observations, and semi-structured interviews underwent descriptive statistical and thematic analyses. Findings revealed significant gains in digital literacy and AI proficiency for marketing and decision-making, alongside nascent cross-border business networks that spurred product innovation and market expansion; barriers included infrastructure limitations and psychosocial factors. These results imply that integrated AI-collaboration models advance digital entrepreneurship theory and offer practical, replicable tools for women's economic empowerment, informing policy for scalable ASEAN ecosystems.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between principals’ leadership and teachers’ organizational commitment using a meta-analysis of studies from 2017–2025, addressing concerns about burnout and inconsistent prior findings. It aims to evaluate result variations, determine the overall effect size, and examine potential publication bias. This study employed a quantitative meta-analytic design by synthesizing 30 eligible journal articles. The included studies were drawn from formal educational settings and represented several leadership categories, including transformational-based, instructional/strategic, ethical-relational, and distributed/participative leadership. Correlation coefficients were used as the main effect size indicator, while reported t-values were converted into correlation coefficients when necessary. The eligibility criteria included studies that examined the relationship between principals’ leadership and teachers’ organizational commitment, reported statistical data (e.g., r or t values), were conducted in formal educational settings, published in indexed journals, provided clear sample sizes, were published between 2017 and 2025, and written in English. The studies were systematically identified through searches in several academic databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, EBSCO and ScienceDirect. The data were analyzed using a correlation-based meta-analysis with a random-effects model in JASP to test heterogeneity, estimate the combined effect size, and examine publication bias. The findings showed that the meta-analysis included 30 studies examining the relationship between principals’ leadership and teachers’ organizational commitment. The results indicated very high heterogeneity across studies (I² ranging from 97.84% to 99.60%). Overall, principals’ leadership was positively and significantly related to teachers’ organizational commitment, with instructional/strategic leadership demonstrating the strongest pooled effect size (r = 0.61, 95% CI [0.34, 0.79]). The publication bias analysis further indicated that the meta-analytic findings were statistically robust. The study concludes that principals’ leadership is an important factor in strengthening teachers’ organizational commitment, although the magnitude of its effect varies across leadership approaches and educational contexts.
