Abstract

Indonesia, as a country rich in religious diversity, faces a major challenge due to rising religious intolerance in the education sector. This study explores the issue of religious intolerance in the educational environment and assesses the important role of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) in building character, with reference to scientific journals and relevant reports. The research findings indicate that religious intolerance in schools is caused by a lack of understanding of Pancasila values, excessive influence of social media, limited interfaith dialogue, and teachers' limited ability to manage diversity. PPKn plays a crucial role in fostering tolerant attitudes through cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. However, traditional teaching methods, which emphasise effective learning models, need to integrate cognitive, affective, and psychomotor elements. Implementation requires the development of an inclusive curriculum, enhancing teachers' capabilities, creating a supportive school environment, and collaborating with various relevant parties

Abstract

The rapid development of the era of globalization has a significant impact on various aspects of life, including the morality of the younger generation. The phenomenon of moral crisis marked by increasing deviant behavior, such as misuse of technology, promiscuity, and decreasing respect for social norms and cultural values, is a serious problem that must be addressed immediately. Amid the increasing deviant behavior and moral crisis that hit the younger generation, instilling positive characters such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, and discipline is becoming increasingly relevant. This study aims to provide information on the importance of character education in preventing moral crises among the younger generation. Character education is one of the strategic solutions and forms the personality of the younger generation to have strong moral values. The results of the study show that character education is one of the main keys in preventing moral crises and forming a generation with integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the leadership role of school principals in fostering a culture of discipline in the school environment. Using a qualitative approach and literature study method, this research examines various relevant literature, journals, and regulations to illustrate effective leadership strategies. The results indicate that principals have a central role in shaping a culture of discipline through exemplary leadership, clear policy planning, involvement of all school members, and continuous evaluation. Transformational and democratic leadership styles are considered the most effective in building discipline awareness that grows from within the school community. Strategies such as teacher empowerment, student involvement, and cooperation with parents also strengthen the implementation of disciplinary values. And the study results describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation strategies of school principals in fostering a culture of discipline. The findings confirm that strong and consistent principal leadership is key in creating an orderly, positive, and characterful educational environment.

Abstract

This study presents the design and validation of a digital learning module aed at enhancing multicultural citizenship competence among higher education students. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method and the ADDIE framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) the module was tested across three Indonesian universities: STKIP Kusuma Negara, STKIP Arrahmaniyah, and Pamulang University. A total of 30 students participated in preliminary testing, followed by 54 students in field trials. The module and its accompanying web-based digital were evaluated by two subject matter experts and two media specialists to ensure content accuracy and media quality. Results showed high feasibility ratings (module: 87.56%; web digital: 91.31%), strong effectiveness (module: 88.71%; web digital: 88.80%), and notable practicality (module: 86.61%; web digital: 90.30%). Feedback from lecturers and students emphasized the module’s accessibility, clear structure, interactive features, and adaptability to diverse learning contexts. The digital format allowed for flexible integration into various teaching environments, promoting student engagement and cross-cultural understanding. This research contributes an innovative, culturally responsive, and technology-enhanced resource for civic education, supporting the development of inclusive, tolerant, and globally aware citizens in higher education settings. It also demonstrates the potential of digital pedagogy in advancing multicultural values in Curricula.

Abstract

Pendidikan dewasa ini harus bisa berfungsi ikut membangun kapasitas bangsa sebagai manusia pembelajar, sehingga bisa andal dan percaya diri dalam percaturan global sekarang, serta rancangan ke masa depan. Proses pendidikan dianggap berkualitas jika proses belajar mengajar berjalan secara efektif dan bermakna. Kegiatan pengabdian kali ini berlangsung dengan siswa/i SMK Taruna Mandiri 1 sebagai sasarannya, tujuan dari dilakukannya pengabdian kali ini adalah untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pancasila dalam pembentukan generasi Good Citizenship dapat membantu peserta didik menumbuhkan kesadaran terhadap niai-niai pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari hari di sekolah maupun dilingkungan masyarakat kemudian juga meningkatkan kepedulian sosial dosen Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan terhadap peserta didik dan masyarakat khusunya di SMK Taruna Terpadu 1, Bogor. Manfaat dari pengabdian kali ini yakni untuk menambah wawasan generasi penerus bangsa terhadap nilai-nilai karakter pancasila dalam pembentukan generasi Good Citizenship dapat membantu peserta didik menumbuhkan kesadaran terhadap niai-niai pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari hari di sekolah maupun dilingkungan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan diskusi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini yakni dari penyampaian materi-materi menegenai nilai-nilai karakter Pancasila untuk membentuk masyarakat good citizenship tersebut dilakukan secara reguler dengan berbagai model, media dan metode pembelajaran yang beragam. Adapun kedepannya setelah sosialisasi dari pengabdian ini siswa akan dibiasakan untuk melakukan civic literacy berisi tiga tahapan penting yaitu tahapan sebelum membaca, ketika membaca dan setelah membaca.Kata kunci : Pendidikan, Karakter, good citizenship
