Abstract

This dissertation is based on the results of the researcher's observations regarding the conditions of madrasa marketing at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tulungagung and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Kediri and its role in efforts to increase the interest of educational customers. The problem formulation in this research is: (1) How does madrasa branding increase the interest of educational customers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tulungagung and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Kediri? (2) How does madrasa differentiation increase the interest of educational customers? (3) How does madrasa positioning increase the interest of educational customers? (4) How does madrasa direct marketing increase the interest of educational customers? This dissertation aims to find and describe madrasa quality marketing strategies in the form of branding, differentiation, positioning, and direct marketing in increasing the interest of educational customers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tulungagung and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Kediri, where the researcher conducted qualitative research and is a type of research with a multisite research design. Data collection techniques were carried out using (1) in-depth interviews, (2) participant observation, and (3) documentation. Data analysis was carried out in two ways, namely single site analysis with data collection, data condensation, data display and drawing conclusion steps, then continued with cross-site analysis. Checking the validity of the data is carried out using credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests. The results of this research found that: The marketing strategy for madrasa quality in increasing the interest of educational customers is carried out by: a) branding, displaying the basic character of the madrasa in the form of mottos and slogans; b) differentiation, creating madrasas that have special services; c) positioning, implementing early admission patterns for new students and various levels of student admission schemes; d) direct marketing, direct marketing through the school website, promotion of madrasa success both in competitions at various levels and acceptance at universities as well as selection of outstanding female students through the student achievement program, and e) selected door to door, going directly to find and recruit students with achievement. Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of success of MAN 2 Kudus students who have many academic and research achievements achieved institutionally, nationally and internationally.  This success is also proven by recognition based on the publication of two Decrees of the Directorate General of Islamic Education, namely Decree of the Directorate General of Islamic Education Number 6757 of 2020 concerning the designation of MAN 2 as a research madrasa and Decree of the Directorate General of Islamic Education Number 1834 of 2021 which states that MAN 2 Kudus is a superior madrasah in the academic field. With some of this evidence, it shows that MAN 2 Kudus has good superior program innovation management so that it has an influence on improving the quality of its graduates. This research aims to find out the quality of graduates from the superior academic and research program at MAN 2 Kudus, how the initiation, implementation, support and evaluation of superior academic and research programs improve the quality of graduates and to find out whether the innovation management of superior programs has an effect on the quality of graduates at MAN 2 Kudus This type of research uses mixed methods. The population in this study were 736 students in superior program classes and teachers who taught superior program classes. The research sample was 101. The data collection techniques were questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is 1) quantitative analysis using Smart PLS, 2) qualitative analysis using interactive model analysis. The results of this research conclude 1) The quality of graduates from the superior academic and research program at MAN 2 Kudus reached a score of 81.49% of what was expected. This can be stated qualitatively as good. 2) Innovation management of superior academic and research programs in improving the quality of graduates at MAN 2 Kudus is carried out by: a. Initiation of superior academic program innovation includes program formulation, human resource adjustments and setting superior standards. b. Implementation of superior academic program innovations includes: dividing programs, adding supporting materials and adjusting human resources c. The supporting capacity for innovation in superior academic and research programs includes the availability of infrastructure, the availability of educators and research supervisors and stakeholder awareness. d. Evaluation of superior academic and research program innovation is carried out by: evaluating the initiation, implementation and supporting capacity of academic and research programs. Meanwhile, quantitatively, superior program innovation management has a significant influence on the quality of graduates.

Abstract

Expanding employment opportunities is not only the responsibility of the government but also of university personnel. The job expansion program is oriented towards increasing workforce absorption and efforts to create jobs. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to expand employment opportunities by providing digital business knowledge and skills to university graduates in Lampung Province. The method used is to provide digital business training to target groups. Training activities are provided in the form of lectures and mentoring for 2 months. The target group in this activity is university graduates who are registered as job seekers at the Lampung Provincial Manpower Office. The series of digital business training activities began with training activities on Monday, July 10, 2023, at the UPT PKK Unila Training Room and ended on September 10, 2023. The speakers came from academics and practitioners in digital business and were attended by 30 participants from several universities in Lampung Province. The results of the evaluation of this PkM activity showed that although there was an increase in participant knowledge as a result of the training activities, this activity has not been able to encourage college graduates to pursue careers as entrepreneurs. There are 3.3% of the 30 participants who run digital businesses with an increase in sales turnover of 12% over 2 months.

Abstract

Pendidikan dalam ajaran Islam mempunyai fungsi untuk membimbing serta mengarahkan peserta didik supaya mampu menerima amanah baik sebagai hamba maupun khalifah. Kepala madrasah perlu melakukan suatu pembiasaan dengan memasukkan nilai-nilai keagamaan pada setiap kegiatan lembaga agar mampu membentuk budaya religius. Budaya tersebut perlu ditekankan dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam karena terdapat sekumpulan nilai agama yang melandasi atas perilaku, kebiasaan dan simbol-simbol dari warganya. Tujuan kepenulisan artikel ini untuk mengkaji terkait bagaimana pola kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam membangun budaya religius peserta didiknya. Metode penulisan artikel memakai studi pustaka dengan cara menggali tulisan-tulisan yang tersedia namun disesuaikan terhadap fokus penelitian. Model analisis isi digunakan untuk mengolah data dengan cara menganalisis makna dari sumber-sumber yang sudah diperoleh. Hasil penelitian telah membuktikan bahwa kepala madrasah mempunyai peran untuk mengarahkan seluruh sumber daya dalam lembaga supaya bisa menciptakan tingkat produktivitas yang tinggi. Penanaman akhlak mulia pada siswa bisa diketahui dari adanya pembiasaan religius dalam madrasah seperti sholat berjama’ah, membaca Al-Qur’an, berbusana muslim, menebar tali persaudaraan dan lain sebagainya. Kepala madrasah perlu menerapkan tiga strategi ketika akan membangun budaya religius tanpa memandang latar belakang dari siswanya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the project based learning (PjBL) model on creative thinking skills. This quantitative research was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The research was conducted on 9th-grade students at Cendikia Junior High School in the academic year 2022/2023, using purposive sampling to obtain 50 students, comprising 25 students in the PjBL class and 25 students in the conventional learning class. The research instrument used was a creative thinking test sheet with indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Data analysis used a paired-sample t-test. The research results indicate a significant influence of the PjBL model on creative thinking abilities. There was an improvement in each indicator of creative thinking after implementing PjBL, and the posttest scores achieved were higher than those of students in the conventional learning class. Based on this study, researchers recommend the learning process with a PjBL model to improve creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Education Quality Strategy is an effort to improve the quality of learning in the digital era. In the digital era, technology is an important tool in the learning process, so it requires transformation in the way of teaching and learning. This type of research uses literature research. This article discusses efforts to transform the quality of education to improve the quality of learning in the digital era. Some of the things discussed include the development of digital curricula that are relevant to the needs and goals, training and development of human resources, the use of technology to increase student interaction and interest in learning, as well as periodic evaluation and improvement. In the digital era, education quality transformation must pay attention to aspects of data security and privacy, as well as cooperation between related parties to ensure curriculum implementation in the digital era can run well and effectively.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPada penelitian ini didasari oleh beberapa masalah yaitu diantaranya, pada materi pembelajaran IPA bahwa hasil belajar kognitif yang dicapai siswa masih terbilang cukup rendah. Pada saat pembelajaran cenderung menggunakan metode ceramah. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak pengaruh metode eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran IPA kelas 3 di SDN Keret. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest. Dengan jumlah populasi 18 siswa kelas 3 SDN Keret. Dari program perhitungan SPSS  eta squared diperoleh hasil 0,825 dengan nilai pretest dan postest 0,856. Nilai setelah uji coba metode eksperimen meningkat dan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan. Nilai dari Sig.(2-tailed) yaitu 0.00<0,05, maka Ha diterima sedangkan untuk H0 ditolak. Nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas 3 SD. Kata Kunci: Metode Eksperimen, Hasil belajar kognitif, Pembelajaran IPA.ABSTRACTThis study was based on several problems, including, in science learning materials that the cognitive learning outcomes achieved by students were still quite low. At the time of learning tends to use the lecture method. This study was conducted to determine whether or not there is an influence of experimental methods on students' cognitive learning outcomes in grade 3 science learning at SDN Keret. The research design used was Pre-experiment one group pretest-posttest. With a population of 18 grade 3 students of SDN Keret. From the SPSS eta squared calculation program, results were obtained 0.825 with pretest and postest values of 0.856. The value after testing the experimental method increased and there was a significant effect. The value of Sig.(2-tailed) is 0.00<0.05, then Ha is accepted while for H0 is rejected. A significance value of less than 0.05 indicates that the experimental method can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes in science learning in grade 3 elementary school.Keywords: Experimental Methods, Cognitive Learning Outcomes, Science Learning

Abstract

From March 2020 to April 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic was still ongoing, which led to the continued closure of schools and the implementation of remote or online learning by all educational institutions. This research aims to describe the influence of ICT-based learning media on the topic of various forces in Theme 7, Sub-theme 1, for 4th-grade elementary school students on their cognitive learning outcomes during online learning amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employed a quantitative experimental method with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. Data collection was conducted through testing methods, where pretests and post-tests were administered to assess students' learning outcomes and to determine the significant impact of using ICT-based learning media on their cognitive learning. The paired sample pre-test results showed a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000, which aligns with the t-Test decision rule indicating that when the sig. (2- tailed) value is below 0.05, there is a significant increase or influence on the research variable. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of ICT-based learning media for the topic of various forces in Theme 7, Sub-theme 1, has a significant impact on the cognitive learning outcomes of 4th-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The students need the scientific competence through the subjectmatter in the subject study and mastery of information technology in the era ofsociety 5.0, because of that it is necessary to apply the learning model. Thepurposes this research to apply the Project Based Learning (PjBL) blended theThink Pair Share (TPS) as the solution that aims to find out the description ofthe application of this model that can be used as the learning option in theschool. The research method used is the qualitative descriptive method. Theimplementation of the research in the Junior High School (SMP)Muhammadiyah 2 Taman Sidoarjo in the IX B class with the 25 students forthe Magnetism and Its Use in the Technological Products topic, while theresults of the study indicate that the activities of this learning stage are carriedout well by the students and teachers, the students have the average responsesof the motivation = 3.75 and interest = 3.53 and with good category on thelearning, as well as the completeness learning shows of the proportional index(P) classical = 0.88 ≥ 0.85 with the complete and finishedlearning category, it means that classical mastery isachieved so that it can improve the students learningout comes well, such as: a) to increase the motivationand interest on the learning, b) to improve theindividual and classical learning outcomes, c) toimprove the problem solving abilities, d) to improve theskills in the managing information resources, e) toimprove the critical and higher order thinking skills,and f) when the students learn and work with the partnergroups, they find and gain the skills relate to plan,organize, negotiate, the party responsible for the taskthat they get, and how the information will be collectedfor the presentation in front of the class.

Abstract

Local wisdom becomes something that is important enough to be introduced and applied by students. The development of technology until anytime will continue to occur because basically humans need technology to ease the burden of life. This has been embodied in one of the learning based ethno-STEM strategies. This learning strategy has been able to introduce and train students with local wisdom. Methods of mentoring activities include planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, equalization of perceptions of the use of learning based ethno-STEM devices and instruments for Class VII, VIII, and IX Even Semesters has been developed and has been registered with Intellectual Property Rights. At the implementation stage, it needs to be reviewed by disseminating the implementation of learning based ethno-STEM devices and instruments to more schools. With this dissemination activity, it is expected that there will be input for the improvement of learning based ethno-STEM devices and instruments so that it will be better. At the evaluation stage, the dissemination results there are 8 schools have been accompanied in implementing of learning based ethno-STEM devices noted the obstacles faced. The obstacles faced in the implementation of learning based ethno-STEM devices and instruments include the difficulty level of natural science material each chapter is different, teacher-centered classroom management, the existence of facilities and infrastructure that do not support the learning process, and student activities that are not relevant to learning. These constraints are further sought solutions and used as a basis for revising learning based ethno-STEM devices and instruments for natural science subjects so that they are obtained devices and instruments that are much better than before.
