Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti dampak model Pembelajaran Penemuan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Boarding School Tanggulangin selama tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pra-eksperimental satu kelompok pretest-posttest, penelitian ini melibatkan sampel purposif dari 30 siswa dari total populasi 75 siswa. Tes pilihan ganda menilai indikator domain kognitif sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model Pembelajaran Penemuan. Analisis menggunakan t-test Pasangan Sederhana dalam SPSS menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam hasil belajar kognitif, dengan skor N-Gain rata-rata 0,7 dalam kategori sedang dan hasil t-test menunjukkan t_hitung sebesar 67.054, yang melebihi nilai t_tabel sebesar 2.045 (p < 0.05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model Pembelajaran Penemuan secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif, mendukung penerapan yang lebih luas dalam pendidikan sains.

Abstract

Coal mining has a significant impact on reducing river water quality. The decline in river water quality causes problems for human life and the environment. Therefore, this research aimed to evaluate river water quality and develop strategies for improving river water quality due to open pit coal mining activities in Tenggarong Seberang District and develop environmental improvement strategies. Several chemical parameters, including pH, TSS, Fe, and Mn, were observed through laboratory tests to determine water quality in the Separi River used in coal mining. The next step was determining environmental improvement strategies using the ISM approach. Twenty stakeholders from related agencies and institutions using FGD were involved in developing a policy strategy. The results of the analysis showed that there has been a decrease in river water quality standards due to mining activities in the research area, and the quality is still below the standard quality. Therefore, two significant strategies must be a priority for the environmental management of the Separi River. First, Conducting an environmental audit of the factors causing the decline in river water quality is necessary. Second, there must be warnings and legal sanctions for negligence in oil spills and oil used from coal mining.

Abstract

The issue of ownership is regulated extensively in Muamalah fiqh in the fields of Al-Mal (property) and Al-Milk (property). Regarding ownership, it is regulated so that there is no violation of one's rights by other individuals, because humans have a tendency towards material things. Islamic recognition of property rights is reflected in the concept of haq al-adami, protection of individual ownership is also regulated in Islam by determining sanctions against people who rob them. This study aims to determine how the concept of Islam in regulating individual ownership rights and how the ethics that must be obeyed in the context of property ownership. This study uses secondary data with data collection methods carried out by means of library research, namely by studying, exploring and citing theories or concepts from a number of literatures such as journals, books, and others. The results of the study that the rules of ownership in Islam have implications for the potential for Islamic economic development, good application of the rules of ownership can have implications for reducing the amount of poverty and economic equity in society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang implementasi manajemen pendidikan dalam konteks sekolah, pendekatan dan metode implementasi manajemen pendidikan dan dampak peningkatan kinerja guru terhadap pembelajaran. metode penelitian ini menggunakan melalui pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan (library research). penelitian kepustakaan merupakan serangkaian kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca, mencatat dan mengolah bahan penelitian. melalui penelitian kepustakaan, peneliti berusaha untuk menformulasikan manajemen pendidikan yang efektif dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja guru untuk peningkatan mutu pembelajaran analisis data penelitian dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen pendidikan dalam konteks sekolah dalam hal kepemimpinan dalam manajemen pendidikan, perencanaan pendidikan yang efektif, pengembangan program pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional, pengelolaan sumber daya dalam konteks pendidikan dan evaluasi kinerja guru dalam manajemen pendidikan. pendekatan dan metode implementasi manajemen pendidikan dilaukan dengan cara pendekatan partisipatif, pendekatan berbasis bukti, pendekatan berkelanjutan, pendekatan kolaboratif, pendekatan berorientasi pada tujuan, dan pendekatan berbasis tim. dampak peningkatan kinerja guru terhadap pembelajaran bisa dilihat melalui peningkatan kualitas pengajaran, peningkatan prestasi akademik, motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa, peningkatan keterampilan hidup, percaya diri dan motivasi siswa, dan peningkatan iklim sekolah yang positif.

Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan perlu mempersiapkan kompetensi mahasiswa (calon pendidik/guru) yang bermutu sehingga dihasilkan peserta didik dengan kompetensi yang unggul. Fakultas Psikologi dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo melaksanakan mata kuliah Pembelajaran Mikro (Microteaching) untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa dalam rangka menghasilkan lulusan yang berkompeten sebagai calon pendidik (guru). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk menganalisis hasil implementasi mata kuliah ini dengan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share Dipadukan Lesson Study (TPS+LS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata ketuntasan hasil belajar (kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional). Indeks proporsi (P) Klasikal= 1,00 ≥ 0,85 dan indeks proporsi (P) individual= 0,86 ≥ 0,85, artinya ketuntasan klasikal dan individual tercapai dengan hasil kompetensi kategori baik, mahasiswa sebagai calon pendidik/guru dapat melaksanakan fungsi pembelajaran dengan baik untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, sehingga peserta didik mampu berkompetisi secara akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respon mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah ini dengan rata-rata minat= 3,53 dan motivasi = 3,75 menunjukkan kategori baik, sehingga kompetensi mahasiswa dalam mengelola kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas bisa kondusif dan optimal yang berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas peserta didik ketika menjadi pendidik/guru.

Abstract

Leadership is a crucial aspect that needs to be considered in education, as effective leadership can provide educational outcomes that align with the demands of the times. This article is examined with the aim of describing the leadership model based on emotional intelligence in facing the era of globalization in the Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Ngawi Islamic school. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, and primary data sources include madrasah diniyah facilitators, the head of the madrasah diniyah, and representative diniyah teachers. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process includes data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that in preparation for the era of globalization, the Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Ngawi Islamic elementary school management has introduced a new innovation by merging institutions while emphasizing the key elements of leadership in personal competence and social competence dimensions.

Abstract

The competitiveness of the textile industry is determined by the implementation of knowledge management. Therefore, this research aimed to describe and analyze the implementation of knowledge management in small and medium (SMEs) textile industry in Majalaya, West Java. An exploratory descriptive design was used with an inductive approach and qualitative methods. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations, while the analysis was conducted through stages of data reduction, display, and conclusion. The results showed that SMEs textile industry in Majalaya, West Java did not implement knowledge management optimally. There were three internal problems, namely the low skill level of the workforce, low mastery of technology, and weak learning culture. The impact of the problem was the high dependence on the knowledge of the owner and supervisor, the occurrence of hostages between the owner, supervisor, and employees, and labor practices causing companies to lose potential workforce. In this context, the implementation of knowledge management experienced obstacles, such as lack of management and leadership support, weak learning culture, low mastery of information technology, limited technological infrastructure, lack of adequate training and education practices, and human resource management practices.

Abstract

Background: Laboratory management is vital for improving science education, yet many institutions struggle to optimize these resources. Specific Background: Effective management enhances student interest and practical skills in natural sciences, but inadequate management leads to underutilization of laboratory facilities, negatively impacting learning experiences. Knowledge Gap: While the importance of laboratory management is acknowledged, studies on specific practices and their effects on student engagement in natural science remain limited. Aims: This study explores management practices in a natural science laboratory and their implications for educational outcomes. Results: Findings reveal that planning, organization, implementation, supervision, and evaluation are poorly executed, resulting in incomplete documentation and minimal follow-up. Although practical activities spark student interest, systemic issues hinder their effectiveness. Novelty: The research provides new insights into the operational challenges of laboratory management in a specific educational context. Implications: Enhanced management strategies are necessary to improve resource allocation and laboratory utilization, fostering student engagement and skill development in natural sciences. Highlights : Critical Role: Effective laboratory management enhances student interest and practical skills in science education. Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to identify the best implementation strategies in transformative Islamic education, explore transformative Islamic education activities that can inspire transformative learning, and analyze the transformation of Islamic education in Indonesia through curriculum transformation. Design/methods/approach – This research approach uses library research. Literature studies are obtained from various sources such as scientific journals, books, seminar papers, and related publications. The paradigm of data analysis in this research uses content analysis which includes data collection, reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. Findings – The researchers obtained three findings in this study. First, there are two best implementation strategies when implementing transformative education: A). To offer critical thinking opportunities b). To offer opportunities to act from a new perspective. Second, there are five transformative educational activities that can inspire transformative learning, including: a). Job shadowing; B). Scenario-based education; C). Cultural adaptation in the workplace; D). Career change; and e). Establish cooperation with various educational institutions. Third, one of the education transformations that has been carried out in Indonesia is by transforming the curriculum starting in 1947, 1964, 1968, 1973, 1975, 1984, 1994, 1997, 2004, 2006, 2013, and current curriculum. The independent learning (self-regulated learning) curriculum has reached its 22nd episode Research Implications/Limitations – Data sources are limited to online and offline scientific literature. Future researchers can use in-depth interview and observation techniques to make the results more reliable Originality/value – The findings of this study provide an overview of implementation strategies and transformative Islamic education activities in a new perspective.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of a cashless payment system (Cashless Management Information System) at SMP Tahfidh Al Hidayah, which was introduced in the 2024/2025 school year to improve the efficiency, security, and transparency of financial management. The focus of this research is the leadership of innovation and reform in improving the Management Information System. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis and the implementation of the research from August 23-October 13, 2024. The results showed that Innovation and Reform Leadership in Management Information System at SMP Tahfidh Al Hidayah Kauman Tulungagung Regency successfully integrated the Cashless SIM system as part of the long-term vision of a more modern school. The school environment supported by the cashless system includes several aspects of digital payment facilities, integrated management systems and accessibility of financial information. The findings from this study also provide practical recommendations for similar schools to improve the quality of education through innovative and reformist leadership strategies that focus on the implementation of cashless systems and are oriented towards operational efficiency.
