Abstract

The memory on a laptop is very important as it is the main component of the laptop, memory which is usually used to store information for direct use on the laptop. Memory also consists of RAM (Random Access Memory), where if the RAM has a higher capacity or storage, the device operates quickly and easily. Therefore, this research will discuss memory, which aims to determine the effect of memory capacity on memory speed, which in this research uses three (3) laptops, laptop X, laptop Y and Laptop Z. Laptop X has AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor specifications. with Radeon Graphics and 8.00 GB RAM (8.41 GB unused) and laptop Y has Intel® Core™ i3-1005G1 processor specifications and 4.00 GB RAM (3.75 GB unused), while Laptop Z has AMD A6-5200 APU processor specifications with Radeon™ HD Graphics and 2.00 GB RAM(1.47 GB unused). Testing the validity and reliability of the instrument but the description of the symbols on the model is written in sentences. Therefore, memory that has a higher RAM capacity or larger RAM has fast memory performance speed and is easy to operate, while laptops that have small RAM have low performance speed which results in low performance speed and results in slow performance.

Abstract

In computer system architecture, the role of the processor cannot be separated as the main component in the operation of the computer operating system. CPU (Central Processing Unit), or commonly called a processor, is a part in the form of a rectangular chip or integrated circuit, the main component of a computer system, which functions to control computer operations, supported by other departments. The unit of processing speed is Mega Heartz or 1000 MegaHeartz. The higher the value, the faster the process runs on the computer. Processor development has progressed so rapidly from year to year that even pioneers such as Intel and AMD are still competing to this day.

Abstract

Currently, the development of computer networks is progressing rapidly. Along with this, user demands for network quality are increasing, both LAN and WAN. Computer networking is the transmission of data (data communication) from the source computer (sender) to the destination computer (receiver) in the form of bits on the sending medium. The Cisco Packet Tracer application allows you to use simulated network data to provide information about the connectivity status of computers on your network when network connectivity problems occur. The method used is to look for references from various internet sources such as Google and YouTube. Simulate your network system using the Cisco Packet Tracer application. Cisco Packet Tracer is network simulator software introduced by Cisco Systems which functions as a learning, training and research medium for computer network simulations.

Abstract

The development of technology in this world is increasingly growing rapidly, one of which is in the development of cellular telecommunications. 5G technology is the name of the 5th generation of mobile communication development, whose standards exceed those of the 4G generation. The literature review in this journal includes network architecture, LAN, CPU, UE, and MCC. The research method used by the author is descriptive research method. The results are that the use of cloud computing at the edge of the network will make the signal from 5G faster than 4G, because the data has been stored and the more users who use it will increase the speed even more and shortening the signaling delay is used to avoid signal transmission from SCeNBces to centralized SCM.

Abstract

Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) networks have become vital infrastructure in the era of modern wireless communications. With the rapid development of technology, monitoring and analyzing Wi-Fi networks has become increasingly important to ensure optimal performance and guaranteed security. Wireshark software has become one of the most popular and reliable tools in analyzing computer networks, including Wi-Fi networks. Wireshark is a very popular and powerful open source network analysis software. Originally known as Ethereum, Wireshark was developed by a team of volunteers and released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). The software can run on multiple platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux, making it a flexible tool for network analysis. The method used shows how to solve an analysis or analysis of a problem. This method section uses a literature study which is packaged briefly, clearly and concisely, so that it can be understood well. Another method used is to carry out simulation practices on Wireshark software to get results from a network. This abstract discusses the use of Wireshark in the context of Wi-Fi networks, covering basic Wi-Fi network concepts, monitoring and analysis methods, and security applications. Through careful monitoring and analysis with Wireshark, users can identify network performance issues, detect security threats, and optimize use of their Wi-Fi network. This abstract provides a comprehensive overview of Wireshark's role in understanding and effectively managing Wi-Fi networks.
