Abstract

Semangat kerja akan menunjukkan sejauh mana karyawan bergairah dalam melakukan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya di dalam perusahaan. Semangat kerja karyawan dapat dilihat dari kehadiran, kedisiplinan, ketepatan waktu menyelesaikan pekerjaan dan tanggung jawab. Motivasi kerja yang baik tentunya merupakan faktor yang harus diperhatikan untuk mendorong semangat kerja karyawan dalam suatu perusahaan. Di samping itu karena kurangnya motivasi yang di berikan atasan ke bawahannya para karyawan terlihat cenderung menunda atau menghindari pekerjaan karena mengalami kelelahan akibat stres terhadap banyaknya tugas yang di jalaninya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh Motivasi terhadap Semangat Kerja karyawan pada PT. Kareta Sabila. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran bagi perusahaan tentang perkembangan sumber daya manusia khususnya yang berkaitan dengan Motivasi dan Semangat Kerja karyawan.Hasil pengujian butir pernyataan menggunakan uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa semua butir pernyataan nilainya lebih besar dari 0,60. Ada pengaruh motivasi terhadap semangat kerja karyawan PT. Kareta Sabila sebesar 36,7%. Pengaruh tersebut berada pada posisi sedang.

Abstract

Sistem penentuan posisi dalam ruangan (Indoor Positioning System/IPS) memiliki peranan penting dalam berbagai aplikasi seperti navigasi robot, pelacakan aset, dan sistem layanan otomatis. Salah satu pendekatan IPS yang menjanjikan adalah berbasis kamera menggunakan algoritma YOLOv4 karena biayanya yang relatif rendah dan fleksibilitas penggunaannya, namun akurasinya masih tergolong rendah. Studi ini meningkatkan akurasi sistem IPS berbasis kamera melalui pendekatan anotasi visual baru, yaitu dengan menempatkan anotasi pada titik tengah antara dua kaki manusia sebagai acuan posisi objek di lantai. Dataset khusus berisi 2.000 citra digunakan untuk melatih model YOLOv4 yang telah disesuaikan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan performa dengan nilai mean average precision (mAP) sebesar 99,19% setelah pelatihan sebanyak 6.000 iterasi. Rasio konversi pixel-ke-centimeter yang diperoleh mencapai 0,309 cm/pixel (sumbu-x) dan 0,308 cm/pixel (sumbu-y), dengan peningkatan akurasi sebesar 62,43% dan penurunan standar deviasi sebesar 69,01%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode kalibrasi menggunakan anotasi pada kaki secara signifikan meningkatkan akurasi estimasi posisi dalam ruangan.

Abstract

In this research, the application of Giant Magnetoresistance sensor AB001-02 series for mass measurement using ATMega328p microcontroller has been developed. Characterization is done by bringing a neodymium magnet closer to the GMR sensor. From the tests conducted, it is known that the farthest range detected is 3.5 cm with the optimal sensitivity area in the range of 0 - 1.5 cm. Based on the tests that have been carried out, changes in mass result in spring displacement (∆x). Displacement causes changes in the magnetic field read by the GMR sensor so that the output voltage of the GMR sensor changes. The greater the mass given, the greater the output voltage of the GMR sensor. The results show the sensitivity of the GMR sensor on mass measurement is 0.0816 Volt/Kg and has a measurement range of 0 - 4.3 Kg with a resolution of 100 g.

Abstract

The amount of financing is a means for banks to gain profits. However, financing cannot be done haphazardly because of the risk of financing problems. For this reason, special considerations are needed in determining the amount of financing at the bank. This research aims to analyze the model for determining the amount of financing through third party funds, liabilities and equity. This research is research using a quantitative paradigm with an associative approach to analyzing cause and effect relationships. Data analysis uses regression analysis, t test statistics, f test statistics and coefficient of determination. The results of the analysis show that third party funds have a positive and significant effect on the amount of financing with a coefficient of determination of 63.2%. Liabilities have a significant positive effect on the amount of financing with a coefficient of determination of 63.4%, while equity has a significant negative effect. With an accurate predictive model, bank management can develop more targeted financing strategies based on projections of available funds from third parties, liabilities, and equity, thereby optimizing resource allocation so that financing does not exceed the bank's liquidity capacity. The model results can provide insight into whether third parties or equity growth needs to be increased to encourage certain types of financing (e.g., MSME financing or mortgages).

Abstract

This research aims to elucidate the potential benefits and inherent challenges of employing Virtual Reality (VR) technology as an instructional tool in contemporary educational settings. With an emphasis on understanding teachers' perceptions, the study investigates the difficulties faced during traditional oral teaching and the potential advantages that VR-based pedagogy may bring to the educational environment. The participants of this empirical investigation included 20 educators (11 males and 9 females), who provided their insight on a set of 15 questions specifically designed and later analyzed via Rasch measurement. The Rasch model's assessment provided comprehensive insight into the teaching difficulties experienced by educators and the potential benefits accrued from the application of VR as a teaching aid. The findings indicate that the majority of educators face challenges while instructing through oral methodologies without appropriate pedagogical tools. Conversely, the integration of VR in teaching methods was found to foster students' knowledge acquisition, comprehension, and application in novel situations, augmenting their analytical and evaluative capabilities. VR application was also found to bolster student engagement, motivation, and attention in the learning process. However, despite these promising findings, several obstacles were identified, most notably the cost of VR technology and the requisite technical skills needed for its implementation by educators. The results of this study bear significant implications for future research, particularly as a teaching tool in chemistry. It also prompts a discussion on educators' capacity-building to seamlessly integrate VR technology into existing teaching methodologies.

Abstract

LaFeO3 (LFO) is commonly used as a material for gas sensor applications. However, the LFO material in ethanol gas sensor applications can still improve sensitivity and selectivity parameters. Gadolinium (Gd) doping is widely used in gas sensor applications to increase the sensitivity of gas sensors. In addition, reduced graphene oxide (rGO) materials are commonly used in gas sensor applications to increase gas sensors' selectivity, sensitivity, and working temperature. This study analyzed the effect of Gd doping (LGFO) and the addition of an rGO single layer on LFO material (LGFO@rGO) on sensitivity and selectivity based on the adsorption energy of the system with ethanol gas molecules. Density Functional Theory studies were conducted to yield insight into the LGFO or LGFO@rGO – ethanol gas interactions and the sensitivity and selectivity improvement by changing adsorption energy. Based on the analysis, the presence of Gd doping and single-layer rGO could increase the adsorption energy. The addition of the rGO layer showed an escalation of the adsorption energy of about 9.45%, 2.49 eV in the LGFO to -2.75 eV LGFO@rGO. This improved adsorption capacity translates to a higher sensitivity for detecting lower concentrations of ethanol gas. This result shows the potential of LGFO and LGFO@rGO as ethanol gas sensor materials.

Abstract

Ikan bandeng merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan payau yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Berkembangnya kabupaten dan kota di kawasan pantai dikhawatirkan akan berdampak pada penurunan produksi dan produktifitas bandeng. Di sisi lain kebutuhan ikan bandeng terus meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan makin tingginya kesadaran masyarakat untuk mengkonsumsi sumber protein yang menyehatkan dan berlemak rendah. Untuk itu dibutuhkanlah lingkungan yang membantu ikan bandeng untuk terus berproduksi dengan baik. Peran penting dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangbiakan ini adalah kondisi air kolam atau tambak ikan. Karena itu diperlukan pengawasan kondisi air secara berkala dan kontinu. Kualitas ait tambak berupa suhu, pH, dan TDS (Total Dissolved Solid). Karena itu pada kegiatan Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Berbasis Kepakaran Bidang Ilmu (PkM Bidang Ilmu)  ini dengan cara memfasilitasi peternak ikan memiliki alat ukur menggunakan sistem sensor untuk mengetahui kondisi kualitas air tambak di daerah pertambakan ikan bandeng di Bojong Salawe, Kab. Pangandaran Jawa Barat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the forms of interpersonal communication parents use in limiting and supervising smartphone use, identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of these strategies, and compare their implementation with Joseph A. DeVito's five principles of effective interpersonal communication: openness, empathy, supportiveness, positivity, and equality. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects were parents of students at Gajahrejo 01 Elementary School, selected purposively. The results showed that most parents have implemented time limits for their children's smartphone use, generally only after school, after Quranic recitation, or before bedtime, with an average duration of 30 minutes to 1 hour. Some parents also attempted to direct their children toward positive activities such as helping with homework, playing together, or participating in positive activities. However, the implementation of the five communication principles was suboptimal: openness was limited to time limits, empathy and support were inconsistent, positive attitudes were often overshadowed by negative responses, and equality was rarely implemented. Barriers faced include busy schedules, limited digital literacy, peer influence, and a lack of alternative activities. Supporting factors include awareness of the negative impacts of smartphones, emotional closeness, positive family habits, and school support. This study recommends increased parental guidance, open communication, and ongoing synergy between schools and families. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk komunikasi interpersonal orang tua dalam pembatasan dan pengawasan penggunaan smartphone, mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat strategi tersebut, serta membandingkan penerapannya dengan lima prinsip komunikasi interpersonal efektif menurut Joseph A. DeVito, yaitu keterbukaan (openness), empati (empathy), sikap mendukung (supportiveness), sikap positif (positiveness), dan kesetaraan (equality). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah orang tua siswa SDN Gajahrejo 01 yang dipilih secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar orang tua telah menerapkan pembatasan waktu penggunaan smartphone pada anak, umumnya hanya setelah pulang sekolah, selesai mengaji, atau menjelang tidur, dengan durasi rata-rata 30 menit hingga 1 jam. Beberapa orang tua juga berupaya mengarahkan anak pada aktivitas positif seperti membantu pekerjaan rumah, bermain bersama, atau mengikuti kegiatan positif. Namun, penerapan kelima prinsip komunikasi belum optimal: keterbukaan terbatas pada aturan durasi, empati dan dukungan belum konsisten, sikap positif sering kalah oleh respon negatif, dan kesetaraan jarang diterapkan. Hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi kesibukan, minimnya literasi digital, pengaruh teman sebaya, dan kurangnya kegiatan alternatif. Faktor pendukungnya adalah kesadaran akan dampak negatif smartphone, kedekatan emosional, kebiasaan keluarga positif, dan dukungan sekolah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pendampingan orang tua, komunikasi terbuka, serta sinergi berkelanjutan antara sekolah dan keluarga.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students’ creative thinking skills in solving physics problems related to the topic of global warming using the Rasch Model approach. Creative thinking is an essential component of 21st century skills, encompassing four main indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The research utilized a descriptive qualitative design supported by quantitative analysis using the Rasch Model to assess the quality of test items and the distribution of students’ abilities. A total of 25 eleventh-grade students from a public high school in Lebak Regency, Banten, participated in the study. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling. The instrument used consisted of eight open-ended essay questions that were validated by experts and tested for internal consistency, yielding a high reliability coefficient (α = 0.86). The results indicated a wide variation in students’ creative thinking skills. Most students fell into the high (28%) and moderate (24%) categories. The fluency aspect showed the highest achievement level (72%), reflecting students’ ability to generate ideas, while flexibility (63.5%) showed the lowest, suggesting challenges in producing ideas from diverse perspectives. Rasch model analysis showed that most test items were categorized as easy and did not sufficiently challenge higher-ability students. Interview data supported these findings, showing that students frequently gave generic responses lacking originality and depth. These results indicate that current physics instruction has not fully fostered students’ creative potential. Therefore, it is crucial to implement contextual, open-ended, and real-world problem-solving-oriented learning strategies to better support the development of creative thinking in physics education.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how Environmental Chemistry education contributes to shaping the science teacher identity of prospective chemistry teachers through a STEM approach. The bibliometric analysis method was conducted using Scopus data (2015–2024), analyzed with Biblioshiny and VOS Viewer. From an initial 483 documents, 418 relevant works comprising articles, books, and reviews were selected based on keywords such as "Science Identity", "Science Teacher Identity", "STEM Education Approach", and "Environmental Science Chemistry". Biblioshiny was used to identify trends over the decade, including annual publication rates, key journals, influential authors, productive affiliations and countries, globally cited articles, and frequently occurring keywords. VOS Viewer further enhanced the analysis by offering three types of visualizations network, overlay, and density to illustrate the relationships and research trends among the selected publications. These visual tools reveal the interconnectedness of topics and highlight emerging areas in the field. The findings offer valuable insights into the global development of research at the intersection of science identity, STEM education, and environmental chemistry. This bibliometric exploration provides a foundation for researchers to identify current trends, understand the research landscape, and recognize gaps that can inform future studies.
