Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran mediasi dari job crafting dan hubungannya melalui otonomi kerja/kemandirian kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan work family conflict. Teknik analisis data menggunakan  Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), dengan uji instrumen validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) dan Alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara otonomi kerja terhadap job crafting, serta pengaruh negatif antara work family conflict terhadap kepuasan keja. Selanjutnya adanya peran mediasi dari job cfarting terhadap work family conflict dan kepuasan kerja. Peran mediasi yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini disebut dengan analisis full mediasi yakni otonomi kerja tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap dengan kepuasan kerja akan tetapi otonomi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan mediasi job crafting. Kemudian otonomi kerja tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap work family conflict akan tetapi dengan adanya job crafting sebagai mediasi otonomi kerja berpengaruh terhadap work family conflict.

Abstract

This study contributes to how measure the influence of social media addiction on the welfare of non-financial employees and employee performance, and contributes to the information on how to limit the limits in playing social media, especially when at work and the adverse effects of playing social media excessively, by playing social media overly will affect productivity in doing work. Based on previous research related to the influence of social media addiction on employee well-being and employee performance, data collection in this study uses survey methods that use the dissemination of questionnaires. Data were processed from as many as 153 respondents and were selected by purposive sampling method from February to May 2021 in the DKI Jakarta-Indonesia area.  This type of research is causality-quantitative using the analysis method of structural equation model (SEM) data. This study shows that the higher the level of social media addiction, it will improve the welfare of non-financial employees but have no impact on employee performance. An interesting finding in this study is that social media addiction will indirectly improve performance through non-financial well-being.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify whether the organizational culture becomes the correct foundation to increase organizational citizenship behavior with work satisfaction and competency. This research is expected to become a reference for the next research about the impact of organizational culture on organizational citizenship behavior based on work satisfaction and competency. On top of that, this research is expected to provide valuable information so it can become a base study or consideration for a company, especially in the media industry to effectively manage its human resources. Media industry have a unique character because they give freedom to their employee to make them get used to multitasking. Therefore, it needed support from an external factor which is to create a good organizational culture that will create work satisfaction and develop competencies as well as improve OCB behavior among employees. This research is conducted by using questioners with 245 respondents that work in online media from December to January 2020. The data has been analyzed by using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The result of this research shows that there is a relationship between organizational culture the work satisfaction among the employee of the online media industry. Furthermore, there is a relationship between organizational culture towards employee competency in the online media industry and it also shows a relation between work satisfaction towards organizational citizenship behavior in online media industry employees. Lastly, the result also shows a relation between competency towards organization citizenship behavior in online media industry employees. On the other hand, work satisfaction and competency also mediate the relation between organizational culture and organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

The company as an organization has a dependency on individuals within the company itself. Employees as individuals in the company are part of the organizational structure that has a major role in determining the achievement of company goals. In the perspective of employees, direct supervisors' attitudes and actions can increase employee engagement or even create an atmosphere where an employee becomes disengaged (feeling not part of the company/organization). In addition to marketing employees, rewards and recognition are generally used as the main motivation to improve their performance.For this reason, the purpose of this study is to determine the role of perceived supervisor support, rewards, and recognition, employee engagement on performance mediated by job satisfaction. The study was conducted with a survey using a questionnaire where respondents used 170 marketing employees in the banking industry in Tangerang. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed there was a relationship between rewards and recognition of employee engagement, there was a relationship between rewards and recognition of performance, there was not a relationship between perceived supervisor support for performance. Employee engagement mediates the relationship between rewards and recognition of job satisfaction. Job satisfaction mediates the relationship between employee engagement on performance.

Abstract

Good human resource management can be leveraged to ensure a company's success. This study aims to determine the relationship between psychological capital, subjective well-being, work engagement, and employee performance. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 407 employees of steel billet and iron rod manufacturing companies in Jakarta. The collected data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study found that high psychological capital is able to improve work engagement and employee performance, but not subjective well-being; high work engagement is able to improve employee performance and subjective well-being, and high employee performance is able to improve subjective well-being. Furthermore, this study found that psychological capital affects subjective well-being mediated by work engagement, while psychological capital does not affect employee performance mediated by work engagement.

Abstract

In the management of hospital management, it appears that there are problems in terms of nurses' work performance that is not optimal. This is thought to be influenced by various factors, including competence, workload, and knowledge management. So this study aims to describe, analyze, and determine the effect of competence, workload, and knowledge management on the performance of nurses at Mitra Medika Hospital Pontianak. This study analyzed the problem, using 148 respondents. The data collection technique used a survey method with a closed questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out by path analysis using SPSS software version 18.00. From the results of the study, it was found that the competence variable had an influence on work performance with a beta value of 0.316, a significance of 0.000; Workload has no effect on work performance with a beta value of 0.086, a significance of 0.86; Knowledge management has a significant effect on work performance with a beta value of 0.525, a significance of 0.000. Knowledge management is the variable with the most dominant influence on work performance.

Abstract

Since COVID-19 has been declared as pandemic, many business sectors are affected, including food and beverage sector. As social distancing plays role in the current health protocol to prevent the mutation of Coronavirus, it is highly recommended for customers to buy food or drink in online mode rather than visiting the restaurants or coffee shops. Nevertheless, this online mode buying process would loose the emotional bond between the brand and the customers. Therefore, the marketing strategy through social media is believed as a way to maintain the emotional bond. The purpose of this research is to find out the precise model to increase the Kopi Kekinian’s customers’ participation on Instagram to strengthen the bond. The methods applied in this research is survey by distributing questionnaire for survey and by applying one-shot study data collection. The result was obtained from 155 respondents, during the data collection process from April to June 2021. The method to test the model is by applying Chi Square, ANOVA Test, and Logistic Regression. Moreover, the research result shows that the customer engagement affects the customer participation on local coffee shop brand’s Instagram social media, whereas the posting time, which plays role as the moderation that consists of weekdays and weekend, does not determine the connection between the customer engagement and the customer participation on the local coffee shop brand’s Instagram social media.

Abstract

The increasing of environmental problems cause companies as a part of the community to also have a role in overcoming these environmental problems, one of which can be done through the implementation of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) policies in company management. The purpose of this study is to determine the most appropriate GHRM measurement dimensions for startup companies in Indonesia and to review the extent to which the GHRM system has been implemented. The study was conducted using a questionnaire survey distributed online to 197 employees of startup companies in the Greater Jakarta area. Data were analyzed using factor analysis and descriptive analysis methods. The results show that there are five dimensions that make up green human resource management in startup companies, namely green organizational support, green management commitment, green health & safety, green employees, and implementation of green policies. Green health & safety is the most widely applied dimension to startup companies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Organizational change has been widely examined by scholars. A readiness to change is essential to attain a success of the organizational change. Previous studies on readiness to change supported by employee’s engagement in government context are scarcity. Thus, this study aims to examine the relationship between the readiness to change and the employee’s engagement in religious affairs institution context. This study also investigates the relationship of those variables moderated by generation X and Y. The quantitative approach with survey research design was undertaken by administering a questionnaire to 179 civil servants under religious affairs institution online. The data was analyzed using PLS-SEM. The findings suggested that the employee’s work engagement and the process of change had a positive and significant relationship to the readiness to change. The work engagement had positive and significant relationship to the process of change and trust in the leadership. The trust in the leadership had positive and significant relationship to the process of change; however it did not have a relationship to the readiness to change. Moreover, generation X and Y did not moderate the relationship the work engagement and the readiness to change as well the process of change. The theoretical and managerial implications are discussed further.

Abstract

The expansion of Japanese parent companies worldwide has forced them to carry the organizational culture that the Japanese founders had held onto their overseas subsidiaries. The main purpose of study is examined organizational culture, employee job satisfaction, and employee performance of Japanese PMA companies in Indonesia on employee retention. Eight Japanese companies were used as the sample, where 33 Japanese employees and 222 Indonesian employees were respondents. Theory Z is used to discuss organizational culture. The questionnaire was made in Indonesian, English, and Japanese. The research model uses a tiered structure model, while to test the proposed hypothesis, the SEM Lisrel 8.8 analysis technique is used. The main finding is the organizational culture of Japanese companies in Indonesia strongly influences job satisfaction, employee performance, and employee retention. Applying Japanese corporate culture shows that Japanese and Indonesian employees understand the company's core values. Employee performance can be realized by employees being able to understand the cultural values of the organization.
