Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of Goal Setting Leadership on Motivation and Work Productivity moderated by Remote Working. The contribution of this research is expected to add information and provide tangible benefits for the organization and its success in the health care industry so that the objectives to be achieved in this research can be achieved well for the leaders. The analytical tool in this study will use the Structural Equation Model (SEM) and the research was conducted using a survey using a questionnaire via google form distributed in January – May 2021 where the respondents used were 195 employees consisting of non-health employees in the health care industry in Jabodetabek. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of this study indicate that the first, Good Goal Setting Leadership will increase high motivation, secondly, high motivation will increase good work productivity, thirdly good goal-setting leadership will increase high work productivity. Furthermore, the Remote Working variable as a moderating role on Leadership Goal Setting and Work Productivity will give positive results.

Abstract

Employees are human resources which are the most important assets to provide excellence to drive the dynamics of an organization or company. Loyal employees can be a very valuable asset for the organization because they can help get as much profit as possible for the organization. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of leadership, Emotion intelligence on employee loyalty with motivation as an intervening variable on nurses at the South Sumatra Type C Hospital. This research is a quantitative research, data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. The number of samples determined is 120 employees. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling. The analytical method using the partial least squares approach - structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS) with the SMART PLS program was used for data analysis. The results showed that leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee motivation and loyalty, Emotion intelligence had a positive and significant effect on employee motivation and loyalty, and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty at the South Sumatra Type C Hospital.

Abstract

Patient safety culture is the main foundation for patient safety in hospitals. Applying a safety culture in hospitals aligns with the existing safety system to reduce unwanted incidents. In 2021, in a hospital in X East Jakarta, patient safety incidents remained accompanied by a culture that could have gone better, as seen from the frequency of reporting incidents, which is still below the reliability target. This study analyzed the effect of safety management commitment and motivation on nurse compliance in implementing patient safety goals through patient safety culture. This research is a quantitative approach with a sample of 105 inpatient nurses at the hospital. This research uses the SEM (Structural Equation Model) method with the SmartPLS software application. In this study, it was found that safety management commitment had a positive and significant effect on adherence to implementing patient safety goals, motivation had a positive and significant influence on adherence to implementing patient safety goals, and safety management commitment and motivation had a positive and significant influence on patient safety culture. Based on the mediation analysis, it can be concluded that patient safety culture mediates safety management commitment and motivation to adhere to patient safety goals. In theory, the implications of this research will prove the effect of research variables and managerial can improve the service evaluation system in hospitals.

Abstract

In the hospital industry, patient- and family-centered care is a key factor that measures hospital management performance. Hospital management requires the support of quality resources, especially human resources, who directly provide services to their customers. Therefore, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), known as extra role behavior from employees, is highly effective to apply because it can lead employees to deliver performance that goes beyond just performing their formal duties. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of organizational culture and leadership style on the OCB of employees in A Class A- Noncommunicable disease hospital in Jakarta through Work Engagement. The research method used a quantitative method with a sample of 260 employees. The hypotheses were tested through the SEM (Structural Equation Model) method with the SmartPLS3.0 application and SPSS version 27. The results showed that organizational culture, leadership style and work engagement affected OCB simultaneously. Organizational culture and leadership style were positively related to work engagement and OCB among employees. Meanwhile, leadership style affected OCB through work engagement. Having employees who demonstrate OCB is crucial to the hospitals to provide quality service delivery. Hence, maintain the stability of a positive organizational culture are required to improve work engagement amongst employee such as employee career development strategies and holding togetherness events that may increase work engagement thereby motivating employees to carry out OCB.

Abstract

Latar Belakang dan Tujuan Tingginya terjadi turnover pada tenaga penunjang medis di rumah sakit diperlukan perhatian yang lebih karena turnover dapat merugikan organisasi, baik dari segi biaya, sumber daya, maupun efektifitas tenaga penunjang medis itu sendiri. Untuk menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja dan jod demand terhadap turnover intention tenaga penunjang medis di rumah sakit swasta kelas B di Bekasi melalui komitmen organisasional. Metode Penelitian ini penulis merupakan kuantitatif asosiatif, metode sampling menggunakan total populasi, seluruh tenaga penunjang medis di RS  Swasta Kelas B di Bekasi sebanyak 117 orang dengan Teknik wawancara dan pengisian kuisioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur dengan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ada hubungan terhadap semua variabel, komitmen organisasional berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention sedangkan beban kerja dan job demand berpengaruh positif antara terhadap turnover intention Kesimpulan secara garis besar terdapat pengaruh beban kerja dan job demand terhadap turnover intention tenaga penunjang medis di Rumah Sakit Swasta Kelas B di Bekasi melalui komitmen organisasional

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Swasta Kelas C di Kabupaten Sukabumi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap komitmen organisasional, dengan penekanan pada peran mediasi dari psychological well-being dan budaya organisasi. Data diperoleh dari 130 staf medis dan non-medis tetap, yang telah bekerja di rumah sakit selama setidaknya tiga tahun, menggunakan kuesioner online yang didistribusikan melalui Google Form dan diperkaya dengan tinjauan literatur yang mendalam. Kuesioner divalidasi menggunakan Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient dan menunjukkan keandalan dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha melebihi 0,7 untuk semua variabel penelitian utama. Studi ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan SmartPLS 3.0 untuk menganalisis data, menunjukkan dampak positif kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap komitmen organisasional, yang dimediasi secara signifikan oleh psychological well-being dan budaya organisasi. Sebagai kesimpulan, kepemimpinan transformasional ketika didukung oleh psychological well-being yang tinggi dan budaya organisasi yang kuat, maka akan meningkatkan komitmen organisasional. Rumah sakit disarankan untuk meningkatkan psychological well-being karyawan, memupuk budaya organisasi yang kuat, dan secara konsisten menerapkan prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan transformasional. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah memperluas sampel dan memperkenalkan variabel intervening lainnya seperti keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan kepuasan karyawan.

Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of job satisfaction and work motivation on team member performance and loyalty. The research method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach and path analysis research design. The research results show that the coefficient value of job satisfaction with performance is 0.545, which shows that the higher the job satisfaction, the more likely it is to improve performance. Then, the coefficient value of work motivation and performance is 0.239, which shows that the higher the work motivation, the more likely it is to improve performance. Then, the coefficient value of work loyalty with performance is 0.159, which shows that the higher the work loyalty, the more likely it is to improve performance. In conclusion, there is a positive influence between job satisfaction and team member motivation and performance. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Performance, Loyalty, Motivation

Abstract

This Study aims to explore the influence of Attitude towards Knowledge, Subjective Norm, and High-Performance Work System on Knowledge Sharing and Innovative Work Behavior. The primary data was obtained by using non-probability purposive sampling technique via online questionnaires. Data was analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The respondent were nurses in RSUP. Dr. M. Djamil Padang. The results of this study showed that Subjective Norm has the strongest effect on Knowledge Sharing, followed by Attitude towards Knowledge Sharing, and High-Performance Work System. High-Performance Work System also has positive and direct impact on Innovative Work Behavior. Knowledge Sharing has the strongest effect on Innovative Work Behavior. The results of this study provide managerial implication for the company to identify physiological factors and HRM practice promoting Knowledge Sharing and Innovative Work Behavior. The proper knowledge management and HRM practice makes the company enable to innovate and to enhance competitive advantages.

Abstract

Analytical thinking, creative thinking, resilience, flexibility, agility, motivation, self-awareness, and a lifelong learning mindset are the top five skills out of twenty-six are crucial for the workforce. These skills are highly important to be developed in higher education through transformative learning that encourages students to broaden their perspectives or change their mindset. Previous researches investigated the transformative learning, however there is still scarce study on the practice of transformative learning in a multidisciplinary context in higher education. Therefore, this study aims to explore the practice of transformative learning across different discipline. Narrative inquire research design was employed by involving six educators teaching at a private university in Jakarta, Indonesia. Classroom observation and interview was carried to collect the data. The finding showed that practice of transformative learning included critical self-reflection and dialogic conversation. The transformative learning provided the impact for the students.

Abstract

Background: The role of leadership is very necessary in influencing employee performance. Objective: The study aimed to examine the effect of transformational leadership style and career development on the performance of health workers mediated by the commitment of health workers at the MRCCC Siloam Hospital, Jakarta. Method: This study uses associative quantitative methods, namely research using path analysis models and hypotheses. The population of this study were all health workers at the MRCCC Siloam Hospital, Jakarta, which found 689 people. The sample selection used a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method, based on the slovin sample formula, there were 88 respondents. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires through google form and collecting journals and supporting book variables. The data analysis technique uses the SEM-PLS equation model. Result: The results showed that simultaneously leadership style and career development have a significant effect on the performance and commitment of health workers at the MRCCC Siloam Hospital, Jakarta. Transformational leadership style and career development partially have a significant effect on commitment and performance of health workers. Transformational leadership style has a significant effect on the performance of health workers mediated by the commitment of health workers. Career development has a significant effect on performance mediated by the commitment of health workers
