Abstract

Abstract: A thing that makes a difference between intellectual traditions of pesantren and other education, namely the existence of sanad. In the perspective of Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauzy, sanad called exceeding the exotological linearity of Islamic knowledge which is called 'ilm al-jally. Moreover, Imam Syafi'i said that the people of Zindiq would preach on the pulpit if the knowledge was not memorized by the sanad in the book. And a famous aphorism Imam Abdullah bin Mubarak says, sanad is a part of religion, if without sanad the people will say whatever they want. The aim of this research is to find out, analyze and interpret the scientific genealogy and nationalism attitude of KH. Zaini Mun'im and KHR. As'ad Syamsul Arifin. This research used qualitative research method with the phenomenology approach and interpretation. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that in terms of the scientific sanad, the two kiai have a sense of continuity between the ulama '(teacher) with one another, so that based on this scientific sanad it shows that the articulation of Islamic teaching is very accountable in the context of Islamic teaching and the institutional development process in both pesantren continues dynamically by doing the transition from traditional pesantren to modern pesantren. and based on the religious nationalism attitude, it can be concluded that both of them have high enthusiasm in their patriotism by carrying out a multicultural mission.

Abstract

After the death of the Prophet Muhammad, the burden of history was borne by Muslims for disputes that started from political issues. The successor to the leadership of the Prophet became the first problem and even became a prolonged problem. Starting from this political dispute, later it will spread to other issues, such as issues of theology and ideology, including the Shia-Sunni intersection which is also a continuation of political problems in the early phase of Islam. Meanwhile, multicultural Islamic education initiated by several Muslim scientists often only discusses the relationship between Islam and other religions. In fact, the problem of internal disputes among Muslims is equally important to be resolved. This study uses qualitative research methods with the type of case study research. The results of the study show the urgency of multicultural education in an effort to re-tighten (taqri@b) Muslims by adhering to the values of multicultural Islamic education. The values of Islamic education include ta'aruf (knowing each other), ta'awun (helping each other), tasamuh (tolerant), tawasuth (moderate), tawazun (harmony), al-'adl (justice) and zuhud. Keywords:  Multicultural Islamic Education, ukhuwah Islamiyah, Shia, Sunni.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how the Yayasan Lingkar Perdamaian (YLP) fosters former terrorists so that they can change or at least not commit violence and acts of terrorism in the name of religion. Through qualitative research, data was collected using in-depth interviews and observations of social activities in the field. The results of this study would like to suggest that strengthening religious moderation in former terrorist actors must be carried out in teaching-based Islamic education and social and psychological-based educational efforts. This means that the moderate character of ex-terrorists must be encouraged by various approaches that can open their hearts. So that they are willing to accept mistakes for their past behavior and are optimistic that they can socialize more with others based on Islamic educational values. Thus, Islamic education that is oriented towards a moderate religious understanding of terrorists must rely on rationalist and social aspects in a more humanist frame.

Abstract

The combination of cultural frameworks presented by multicultural identity has many advantages in facilitating adaptation. How can someone feel friendly and comfortable with their environment wherever and whenever an individual is. This persistence seems to describe and treat the world as a "friendly global village". New identities and topics of how individuals deal with internal cultural diversity need to be adequately explored. The fact that there is self-identity and self-concept in society will generally change when influenced by social change. Focusing on examining integrative approaches in Islamic and cultural studies, with the type of library research in the area of descriptive analysis as a way of collecting data, compiling, classifying for analysis and interpretation, it can be concluded that: 1) The need to search for deeper meanings in differences between groups and individual, intra similarity such as behavior, knowledge, emotion, interaction and style; 2) Self-identity is not only a matter of self-description but also a matter of the social labels affixed to it; 3) Rejected social identity results in defensive anticipatory reactions; 4) The self-concept will be awakened, when the need for acknowledgment of the suitability of their identity is also given. The four things above, in its realization there are at least three dimensions as mediation in building the multicultural nation of Indonesia, namely: 1) Mediation of social tolerance; 2) Mediation of religious moderation; 3) Prejudice reduction mediation and 4). Friendly social media mediation
