Fine motor is one aspect of motor development that must be developed in early childhood education. Fine motor has a vital role in child development because fine motor is the child's ability to show and master beautiful muscle movements in coordination, agility, and dexterity in using hands and fingers. To develop fine motor skills, a teacher must be able to sort and choose the suitable media to build it optimally and as expected. This study used qualitative research methodology. The research subjects were 20 students and two teachers from RA Lampung Timur, while the research object was the development of children's fine motor skills. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive research methods; the author describes or describes the findings systematically and accurately using a series of words or sentences so they can be understood. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that applying collage media to develop children's fine motor skills could be successful. Pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran pada dasarnya memberikan dampak terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Dalam hal ini, penggunaan video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi pada Canva atau Microsoft Power Point menjadi salah satu fokus utama dalam penelitian ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Kami menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental dengan melibatkan siswa kelas X TKJ A (kelas kontrol) dan TKJ B (kelas eksperimen) SMK Negeri 2 Toraja Utara yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kelas kontrol. Selanjutnya, kami menemukan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika.

The Semiotic process (construction of sign meaning) is very closely related to mathematics which consists of signs or symbols. This research aims to explore students' semiotic processes in constructing the meaning of symbols in whole numbers. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using a semiotic approach. The subjects in this research were selected using purposive sampling (purposeful sampling). The subjects in this research were 32 elementary school students. Based on this research, 5 types of semiotic construction patterns were obtained with each subject grouped based on its semiotic construction, namely 1) strong semiotic construction, 2) weak semiosis construction, 3) True-False semiotic construction, 4) False-True semiotic construction, and 5) False-False semiotic construction. The semiosis construction process is a determining factor in students understanding the signs of operations in integers.

This research explores the development of students' critical thinking in mathematics learning through a longitudinal study approach. With a focus on problem solving, creative thinking, and conceptual understanding, this study aims to understand how students develop critical thinking skills over time. A longitudinal research method was used with 100 students from two secondary schools in Medan city as participants. Results showed significant improvements in students' critical thinking scores from the beginning to the end of the semester, with teacher training interventions and differences between schools making significant contributions. The implication of this study is the importance of innovative learning approaches and support for teachers in improving students' critical thinking skills in the context of mathematics learning

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical problem-solving skills and mathematical communication through the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with ethnomathematics. This model is designed to enhance students' ability to deeply understand mathematical concepts by utilizing local cultural contexts as a medium for learning. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The study subjects comprised mathematics education students from a university. Data were collected through mathematical problem-solving tests, mathematical communication tests, and observation sheets to evaluate student engagement during the learning process. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics to identify significant differences between the experimental group (using PjBL integrated with ethnomathematics) and the control group (using conventional teaching models). The results indicate that the implementation of PjBL integrated with ethnomathematics significantly enhances students' mathematical problem-solving skills and mathematical communication compared to conventional teaching methods. Furthermore, students involved in project-based learning within a local cultural context were better able to relate mathematical concepts to real-life situations, fostering conceptual understanding and creativity. This study concludes that the integration of ethnomathematics in the PjBL model effectively improves the quality of mathematics education in higher education institutions.

Abstract: SEMAR (Statistical Multimedia Based on Multi-representation and Augmented Reality) is a digital innovation in the form of learning multimedia that can improve numeracy literacy in statistics learning. SEMAR is a prototype developed from an integrated statistical e-module of multi-representation and augmented reality with Technology Readiness Level (TKT 3) with increased innovation from website-based media to android-based multimedia (TKT 4). The purpose of improving TKT is intended to achieve the novelty of SEMAR products in supporting independent learning of statistics in Indonesia. The TKT improvement method used is through expert validation test techniques and national-scale public tests. Both tests were carried out at seven universities in Indonesia, including Nusantara PGRI University Kediri, PGRI University Madiun, Nahdatul Ulama University Blitar, Madura University, Khairun University Ternate, Cendrawasih University, and Indonesian Christian University Toraja. The results of the validation test show that the average SEMAR feasibility value is 90.92% with a very feasible category, and the average SEMAR user response is 77.87% with a good user response category.

Background. Mathematics learning in elementary schools (SD) often requires innovative approaches to increase student engagement. With the development of technology, the use of social media as a learning tool is starting to become the focus of research to increase students' learning motivation in mathematics. Purpose. The research aims to measure how much influence the use of social media has in increasing students' motivation in learning mathematics in elementary school, as well as providing a concrete understanding of the relationship between social media and motivation to learn mathematics. Method. A quantitative approach using a survey model is used to examine the impact of social media on student motivation. Questionnaires were distributed to elementary school teachers and mathematics education students via Google Form and WhatsApp (WA) groups. Research ethical principles were upheld, and data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis techniques. Results. The majority of respondents gave a positive view of the influence of social media in mathematics learning. However, there are a small number who feel that social media can interfere with studying concentration. The integration of social media needs to be considered wisely to minimize risks and maximize its benefits in mathematics learning. Conclusion. The research results show that social media has great potential in increasing students' motivation in learning mathematics in elementary school. However, its use needs to be managed wisely and responsive to student needs and preferences. Social media integration can be an interesting and effective learning alternative in the context of mathematics learning at school.

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi numerasi siswa di SMK N 5 Toraja Utara melalui pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual yang berbasis pada budaya lokal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop dengan melibatkan guru-guru untuk mengimplementasikan strategi pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan elemen budaya Toraja dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih memahami konsep numerasi yang diajarkan dengan konteks budaya yang relevan, yang berdampak pada peningkatan literasi numerasi mereka secara signifikan. Selain itu, pendekatan berbasis budaya ini terbukti menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan lebih mudah dipahami. Luaran dari kegiatan ini mencakup modul pembelajaran berbasis budaya, peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengajar numerasi, dan rencana aksi implementasi di kelas. Secara keseluruhan, pendekatan ini sejalan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa.

Every student has different abilities, this difference is due to the different stages of ability that students have. The purpose of this study was to describe students' thinking skills based on Van Hiele's learning theory. The subjects of this study were 15 students of class VIII SMPN 2 Makale. The instruments used were test descriptions and interviews. The results showed 93% who had the ability to think at the introductory stage (stage 0), 80% of students who had the ability to think at the stage of analysis (stage 1), 33% of students who had the ability to think at the sequencing stage (stage 2), and 20% of students. who has the ability to think at the deduction stage (stage 3). Thus, the thinking ability of iclass VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Makale based on Van Hiele's theory on cube and block material reaches stage 3 or the deduction stage.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi geometri siswa kelas VIII SMP Kristen Makale dengan penerapan teori belajar Van Hiele. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Kristen Makale pada tanggal 12-17 Juli 2021. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua kali pertemuan dengan instrumen pengumpulan data adalah observasi kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan metode Van Hiele, observasi aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar yaitu pre-test dan post-test. Dari penerapan teori belajar Van Hiele dengan tiga tahap yaitu tahap 0 (Visualisasi), tahap I (Analisis), dan tahap II (Deduksi infirmal) dapat dianalisis dan diolah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dari hasil pre-test rata-rata 72 dan post-test rata-rata 86,375 peningkatan hasil belajar yang dihitung dengan N-Gain mengalami peningkat sebesar 14,375 atau 0,51% kategori sedang.
