Abstract

Farmers' work is carried out in rice fields, fields, fields, and gardens which are usually the livelihoods of the villagers. Currently, most of the farmers' work force is managed by older farmers. Meanwhile, the younger generation is less interested in continuing their parents' farming. Youth prefer to try their luck in the city because agriculture is less promising for economic improvement, and agricultural land is decreasing. This causes the youth's view of agriculture to be increasingly limited and it becomes difficult for them to stay on the farm. This study aims to examine the perception of young farmers towards farmer's work, to examine the perception-forming factors and to assess the relationship between the perception-forming factors and the perception of young farmers to the farmer's work. The basic method used is descriptive analysis with survey techniques. The research location was determined purposively, namely Bancak District, Semarang Regency. The sample was determined using a multistage cluster random sampling technique, as many as 60 young farmers spread over three villages, namely Pacekelan Village, Ganggeng Village, and Paduroso Village. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis used category classes to determine the perception of young farmers towards work as farmers and Rank Spearman (rs) to determine the relationship between the factors that shape perceptions and perceptions of young farmers towards work as farmers. The results showed that there was a very significant relationship between the family environment and socio-culture with youth perceptions of farmer work at the 99% confidence level, at the 95% level there was a significant relationship between work interactions and the primary social environment with youth perceptions of farmer work, while Formal education, non-formal education, secondary social environment, and cosmopolitan have no significant relationship with youth perceptions of farmer work

The approach used in this research is a survey method of 80 employees. The results of this research are that there is a significant influence of transformational leadership on employee productivity. Based on the SPSS Version 26 calculation results, the value of tcount > ttable (6,618 > 1.664488), then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. And there is a significant influence of organizational climate on employee productivity. Based on the SPSS Version 26 calculation results, the value tcount > ttable (2,262 > 1.664488), then H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted. Based on the significance test, it was found that there is a significant influence between transformational leadership and organizational climate on production employee productivity

Abstract

This research aims to provide solutions to managers of the tourist attraction in increasing the number of tourist visits in the form of a marketing model that is cheap, easy, right on target, and can reach all elements of society without time and place limits, namely by using a social media platform. With this model, it is hoped that it can be used by the management and can further increase the number of tourist visits to Alas Kedaton. This tourist attraction has experienced problems in terms of the number of tourist visits since the Covid 19 pandemic. Until now the number of tourist visits has not returned to normal. On normal days it is still around 150 tourists, but it can increase to 800 people during the Galungan holidays. Even though the price of admission is 15,000 for children and 20,000 for adults, while foreign tourists are 30,000/person, with a low number of tourist visits, managers will still have difficulty covering their operational costs. The tourist attraction is located at Kukuh village, Marga sub-district, Tabanan district is a nature tour managed by the local village community so it is also a mainstay for villagers who work in this tourist attraction. Some of them work in the managerial field and some are souvenir traders who also serve as guides at the tourist attraction. Souvenir sellers at these attractions are also given the opportunity to become local tour guides at these attractions without asking for payment, but at the same time, they can offer their wares to the tourists they guide. While the tourism products offered by the Alas Kedaton tourist attraction are closely related to the preservation of nature and animals. This is perfect for educational tours. That way the market for this tourist attraction is actually very broad, especially for school children, students, teachers, lecturers, and other environmental observer communities. To create a social media platform-based marketing model, primary and secondary data will be sought. Primary data was obtained by conducting interviews with the object manager and secondary data was obtained from offline and online library sources. The data was then reduced, described, categorized and concluded, and analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis technique.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of employee green behavior in improving green practices at the Grand Hyatt Bali Hotel. The data collection methods used were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The respondents in this study were 86 employees who worked at the Grand Hyatt Bali Hotel. The analysis techniques used in this research are quantitative descriptive analysis and quantitative data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. Before the analysis is carried out, a reliability test and validity test are carried out on the questionnaire that will be distributed to respondents. The results of the quantitative analysis research show that the reliability test results on the employee green behavior variable have a Cronbanch's Alpha value of 0.819 and the green practice variable is 0.896, which shows that each variable has a value greater than Cronbanch's Alpha in the range of 0.60 in the correlation test. The test results between the employee green behavior and green practice variables at the Grand Hyatt Bali Hotel obtained a Pearson Correlation value of 0.559. With a significance value of <0.05, it can be concluded that the variables are correlated and have a positive correlation relationship. This shows that if there is an increase in the employee green behavior variable, it will be followed by an increase in the green practice variable. It can be concluded that employee green behavior has an influence on green practices, but several indicators need to be improved again so that the implementation of employee green behavior can run efficiently in improving green practices.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of food cost management in the hotel industry, identifying key factors influencing food cost stability and proposing strategies to enhance cost efficiency. Effective food cost control is crucial for maintaining profitability and sustainability in hotel operations. A mixed-methods approach was utilized, incorporating observations, documentation, and structured interviews with key personnel, including the Financial Controller, Cost Controller, Purchasing Manager, and Store Manager. Quantitative descriptive analysis revealed inefficiencies in food cost management, with excessive purchasing and insufficient sales contributing to elevated costs. Qualitative analysis further identified several internal and external factors affecting food cost stability. External influences, such as fluctuations in raw material prices, posed challenges in maintaining consistent food costs. Internally, issues such as equipment malfunctions, poor inventory management, and lack of employee discipline significantly impacted cost efficiency. Findings indicate that ineffective cost control mechanisms hinder the hotel's ability to maintain optimal food cost levels. To address these challenges, the study recommends a series of strategic interventions. Regular adjustments to menu pricing based on market trends and cost analysis can help mitigate external price fluctuations. Strengthening supervision and control over food cost disbursements will enhance accountability and efficiency. Additionally, improving employee discipline through training and performance monitoring can minimize waste and operational inefficiencies. By implementing these measures, hotels can achieve more effective food cost management, reduce unnecessary expenditures, and improve overall financial performance. Optimizing food cost efficiency not only enhances profitability but also contributes to the long-term sustainability of hotel operations. This study underscores the importance of proactive cost management strategies to ensure financial stability and operational success in the hospitality industry.
