Abstract

Pertambahan jumlah penduduk yang semakin cepat menuntut adanya upaya alternatif untuk menyediakan pangan sehat yang cukup bagi masyarakat. Salah satu solusi alternatif atas permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menggalakkan sistem budidaya tanaman secara hidroponik dengan memanfaatkan limbah stryofom bekas sebagai wadah bercocok tanam. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi anggota Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Biologi tingkat SMA di Kabupaten Takalar dalam melakukan budidaya tanaman secara hidroponik dengan memanfaatkan limbah stryofom bekas sebagai wadah bercocok tanam. Setelah menyelesaikan kegiatan PKM, peserta juga diharapkan bisa mengintegrasikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang mereka miliki dalam Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM) khususnya pada materi pelajaran yang relevan dengan topik pelatihan. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan dengan model pemberdayaan kelompok sasaran dengan pendekatan Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) dan Community Empowerment (CE). Setelah pelatihan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan, wawasan dan keterampilan dasar kelompok mitra tentang teknik budidaya tanaman secara hidroponik dan peningkatan antusiasme pemanfaatan stryofoam bekas sebagai wadah media tanam secara hidroponik. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari kuisioner, kelompok mitra merasa puas dan menilai kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dan dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Nutrition and health are important prerequisites forthe success of early childhood education. The nutrients arebrain-forming materials and other organs related to childdevelopment, and play a role in the formation of childimmunity. Whereas health is a guarantee for the continuity ofthe early childhood education process. This activity aims toprovide counseling to early childhood education teachers onhow to monitor or check children's health in general, andanalyze the nutritional status of early childhood based onanthropometric measurements (weight and height). Themethod used was direct observational nature that is natural andpleasant. In addition, the methods used were interviews andinteractive discussions between participants and theimplementation team and between participants andparticipants. The counseling participants were kindergartenteachers who are members of the Takalar District KindergartenTeacher Association and parents of Azzahra PAUDKindergarten children. Based on the results of monitoring bythe implementing team, it was found that the participants wereable to detect children's health status by recognizing physicalsigns of healthy children, and were able to assess thenutritional status of children by measuring and analyzinganthropometric status based on body weight and height. Theparticipants were very enthusiastic about participating in thisprogram. They were very active during the discussion sessionand they also attended the event until it was completed.Furthermore, some participants asked for additional time toobtain more information about children's health and nutrition.

Abstract

This research is a research and development which aims to develop a textbook based on metacognitive skills in blood circulation system materials for grade XI high school students that are valid and practical. The development of textbooks based on metacognitive skills refers to the ADDIE development model The stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection were carried out using several research instruments consisting of: (1) textbook validation instrument to find out textbook validity data assessed by 2 (two) expert validators, (2) teacher and student response instruments to find out the practicality of textbooks. This research was conducted in July-September 2020 at SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. The results of research data analysis obtained: (1) the textbook based on metacognitive skills are valid with a validity value of 4.57, (2) the textbook based on metacognitive skills is practical with the results of the teacher's response being 94.58 with very positive criteria and the results of student responses being 88.85 with very positive criteria. Based on the research that has been finding, it can be concluded that the textbook based on metacognitive skills in blood circulation system materials for grade XI high school students are valid and practical

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi formulasi pakan Black soldier fly (BSF) Hermetia illucens yang terdiri dari limbah ikan dan sayuran terhadap kandungan nutrisi larva BSF. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan menggunakan 4.000 larva BSF yang telah memasuki fase instar dua. Pemeliharaan larva BSF dilakukan selama 15 hari. Pemberian pakan dilakukan sekali dalam 2-3 hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan A yaitu 10% limbah ikan : 90% limbah sayuran, B yaitu 20% limbah ikan : 80% limbah sayuran, C yaitu 30% limbah ikan : 70% limbah sayuran. Parameter yang diamati yaitu Kandungan nutrisi dalam tubuh larva BSF dianalisis menggunakan analisis proksimat. Data hasil analisis proksimat dianalisis menggunakan analysis of variance (ANOVA) dan Uji lanjut Duncan dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan C dengan 30% limbah ikan dan 70% limbah sayur memberikan hasil yang terbaik dengan kandungan protein tertinggi dibandingkan perlakuan A dan B. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variasi formulasi pakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kandungan nutrisi larva BSF Hermetia illucens. Abstract

The development of modern agriculture dynamic has contributed to encouraging the continuous utilizing of synthetic chemical fertilizers by farmers. On the other hand, the fertilization cost are increasing and scarcity occurs making its difficult for farmers to obtain, so its an impact to fertilization delays as well as production. In addition, the long-term impact of application of synthetic chemical fertilizers causing in a number of problems to crop cultivation. Therefore, the efforts are needed to reduce the utilization of synthetic chemical fertilizers, as well as reduce them by substitution of biological fertilizers. This effort was caused by the knowledge and skills of the farmer in making biofertilizers is lack. On the other hand, there are many materials sources to making biological fertilizers, thus encouraging efforts to training of target partners, especially corn farmers in Lainungan Village, Sidrap distric, South Sulawesi. This activity takes place from July to September 2022. This activity is not only attended by farmers, but also attended by community leaders. The results of this activity indicate that the target partners have the knowledge and skills to process guano bat into an biofertilizer. The results of the analysis of the use of biofertilizers are still in the field trial stage, so it is hoped that this product will be able to give a real impact in suppressing the use of biofertilizers and be able to achieve the target of corn farmers to substitute up to 50% of biofertilizers.Keywords: Guano bat; biofertilizer; corn farmer

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa e-book pada mata pelajaran biologi kelas X SMA, bab plantae, materi tumbuhan non-vaskular dan tumbuhan vaskular tidak berbiji. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan desain instruksional model ADDIE. Bahan ajar e-book yang dikembangkan dilakukan uji validitas oleh 2 orang dosen ahli dan uji kepraktisan oleh guru dan siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah 2 orang guru biologi kelas X dan 30 orang siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Sidrap untuk uji coba lapangan secara terbatas terhadap bahan ajar e-book yang dikembangkan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengisian angket kepraktisan oleh guru dan siswa. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-book dinyatakan valid dengan skor rata-rata 4.8, e-book dinyatakan praktis berdasarkan respon guru dengan perolehan rata-rata 83.72%, dan e-book dinyatakan sangat praktis berdasarkan respon siswa dengan perolehan rata-rata 88.60%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa e-book materi tumbuhan non-vaskular dan tumbuhan vaskular tidak berbiji yang dikembangkan bersifat valid dan praktis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of mealworm frass and molasses on the proximate value of white oyster mushrooms. This type of research was an experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of four treatments with three replications each. Test parameters include water content, ash content, crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber. Proximate data on water content, ash content, crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey's follow-up test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed that treatment with frass and frass molasses had an effect on water content, ash content, crude protein, crude fat, and a decrease in fiber content. Therefore, it can be concluded that the addition of mealworm frass and molasses affects the proximate value of the resulting oyster mushrooms.Keywords: White Oyster Mushroom, Flour Caterpillar Frass, Molasses, Proximate.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Knowledge, mass media exposure, attitudes, and environmental pollution control of high school students in Makassar City, 2) Effect of knowledge on environmental pollution attitudes, 3) Effect of mass media exposure to environmental pollution attitudes, 4) Influence knowledge of environmental pollution control, 5) Effect of information media vulnerability on environmental pollution control, 6) Indirect influence of knowledge on control through pollution, 7) Indirect influence of mass media on control through environmental pollution. The population of this study was all tenth grade students (X) majoring in Natural Sciences (IPA) of State High Schools in Makassar City. The sample was chosen by cluster random sampling, which was 177 people as respondents. The results showed: 1) Knowledge of environmental pollution of good qualifications, the comprehension of the mass media is of high tendency, the attitude of environmental pollution is a positive qualification, environmental pollution control qualifications are quite good, 2) Directly there is a significant influence of knowledge on the attitude of environmental pollution, 3) Directly there is a significant influence on the level of exposure of the mass media to the attitude of environmental pollution, 4) Directly there is a significant influence of knowledge on environmental pollution control, 5) Directly there is a significant effect on the level of exposure of the mass media to environmental pollution control, significant effect on environmental pollution control, 7) Indirectly the level of exposure to mass media through attitudes has a significant effect on environmental pollution control. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested to: environmental education teachers as well as others to try to increase knowledge, attitudes so as to form the ability to control environmental pollution for sustainable development, 2) Education experts should pay attention to the factors that are in direct contact with teacher needs in the field (bottom -up) in creating new approaches and methods in shaping attitudes and controlling environmental pollution.

Abstract

Abstract. Correlation of Knowledge and Attitudes towards Waste Management in the Community in Baranti Subdistrict in Sidenreng Rappang District. The type of this study is expost-facto, which aims to discover the correlation between knowledge and attitudes towards waste management in the community in Baranti subdistrict in Sidenreng Rappang district. The independent variables are knowledge and attitudes, whereas the dependent variables are the waste management. The research population in this study were all households in the Baranti subdistrict in Sidenreng Rappang district, whereas the samples were 190 people taken by using the Issac and Michael table with the level of error 5%. Data collection technique employed questionnaire and interviews. Data were analyzed by employing descriptive statistical technique and inferential statistical technique. The results of the study based on inferential statistics analysis are as follows, it is that there is a positive and significant correlation between knowledge and waste management at a strong correlation level with the sig. there is a positive and significant correlation between attitudes and waste management at a very strong correlation level with the sig. There is a positive and significant correlation between knowledge and attitudes towards community waste management at a very strong correlation level with the sig. The biggest effective contribution to the dependent variable (Waste Management) is given by attitude by 55.81%, and knowledge by 16.23%. The total effective contribution is 72.04%, which means knowledge and attitude collectively provides an effective contribution by 72.04% to the community waste management in Baranti subdistrict in Sidenreng Rappang district, while 27.96% is influenced by unexamined factors.Keywords: knowledge, attitudes, waste management
