Abstract

Wajah negara Islam di Indonesia telah mengalami perubahan sejak pertama berdengung di masa Darul Islam hingga sekarang yang dibawa oleh Hizbut Tahrir. Perubahan terletak dalam bentuk gerakan, visi-misi, ide, undang-undang yang berlaku dan sistem pemerintahan yang dianut serta di adopsi. Konflik yang menyertai perubahan tersebut pun berwajah tak sama. Mulai dari konflik intern umat beragama, antar umat beragama hingga yang menggerogoti kesatuan dan persatuan bangsa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang variasi pembelajaran sejarah melalui materi konflik dan menumbuhkan kesadaran sejarah peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data berasal dari informan, aktivitas pembelajaran, dan dokumen perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran sejarah melalui materi konflik  yang berkenaan dengan usaha pendirian Negara Islam Indonesia berkontribusi dalam hal kesadaran sejarah. Sebuah kesadaran sejarah tentang pentingnya persatuan dan kesatuan, pengorbanan dan cinta tanah air. Dengan belajar dari konflik tersebut peserta didik juga dapat membuat langkah antisipatif supaya kejadian serupa tidak terulang lagi di masa mendatang. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan apresiasi yang muncul dari peserta didik terhadap materi yang lingkupnya dekat dengan mereka, terutama tema-tema agama terkategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Tarekat [Islamic congregation] is always interesting to be studied, including the Tarekat Hizib that developed in the Islamic organization of Nahdlatul Wathan (NW). This paper aims to explain the development and exposes a system of tarekat education and understand the social capital relations involved in the NW organization. This study is a historical study which is carried out in four stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. According to the study, the education system developed by NW combines the salafiyyah [An education system that condemns theological innovation and advocates strict adherence to shari'a and to the social structures existing in the earliest days of Islam] and khalafiyyah, in which on the one hand maintains the traditional education in pesantren [Islamic boarding schools], but on the other hand also follows government regulations in implementing the national education system. Meanwhile, tarekat relations in the tarekat education system become a social capital in the religious life of NW followers and shaping the characteristics and personality of the community as well as the spiritual messages outlined by the tarekat founders. During the period 1966 to 1997, it was the main period as well as the antithesis in changing the orientation of the spiritual life perspective among the NW followers which has been getting stronger.

Abstract

In Cililin Village, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency, there are several potentials that can be explored and developed as tourist attractions. One of them is the famous wajit Cililin. Wajit Cililin has been produced for a long time and it is sold in the form of its products. However, there is an interesting side that has not been utilised to be developed, namely the manufacturing process. The purpose of this study is to reveal the potential of Cililin assets to be developed into tourist attractions. The research method used is a qualitative method. Primary data collection is conducted by observation and in-depth interviews. Besides that, a literature study is also conducted. Data analysis uses an interactive model, through three activities carried out simultaneously, namely reduction of data, presentation of data, and conclusion. The results showed that the wajit Cililin manufacturing process has the potential to become a gastronomic tourist attraction and educational tourism, since it has interesting uniqueness. The attraction can only be displayed to tourists by local people who have the skill to process and produce it, hence that the development must involve the local community.Keywords: gastronomic tourism, educational tourism, community based tourism.

Abstract

Desa Malatisuka merupakan salah satu desa dengan kategori tertinggal di Kecamatan Gunung Tanjung, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya yang memiliki potensi alam dan lanskap berlimpah yang dapat dijadikan destinasi wisata unggulan apabila dikelola dengan baik dengan menerapkan konsep Ekowisata dan pengembangan mengacu pada prinsip berkelanjutan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat strategi pengembangan potensi ekowisata di Desa Malatisuka, Kecamatan Gunung Tanjung, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini adalah studi kualitatif dengan metode survey dan deskriptif. Data untuk penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan teknik pemilihan narasumber menggunakan purposive sampling, studi literatur baik itu dari buku, procceding seminar, tesis, artikel-artikel jurnal dalam atau luar negeri serta sumber lainnya. Sedangkan data akan dianalisis menggunakan cara triangulasi serta analisis SWOT untuk selanjutnya melakukan perumusan strategi yang tepat untuk pengembangan potensi ekowisata tersebut. Hasil menunjukan bahwa Desa Malatisuk memiliki kelebihan dan peluang yang besar utamanya potensi alam yang apabila dimanfaatkan sebaik mungkin maka dapat menjadi nilai lebih yang menjadi kekuatan untuk bersaing diantara daya tarik wisata khususnya dikembangkan untuk kegiatan ekowisata dan memungkinkan peluang untuk mengembangkan usaha kreatif lainnya dengan strategi yang telah dirumuskan berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan. Abstract

This study aims to find out how the development strategy of Lembang Dano situ in Village of Cipada, and to get the right strategy for the development of Lembang Dano tourist attractions. The data has taken of primary data and secondary data, where primary data is obtained from questionnaires and interviews to predetermined sources and secondary data obtained from agencies and agencies related to this study. The analytical tool used the SWOT analysis method the results of the research show that the development strategy needs to first determine the factors that are strengths and weaknesses (internal environment) ourism potential in Lembang Dano Cipada Village, then combines with the opportunities and threats from outside (external environment). Abstract

The existence of Islamic political parties in the field of Indonesian politics has a very long history. The Islamic political parties had actually been found before the independence. Their quantitatively significant development, however, takes place after the era of independence. Throughout the development, there have been many researches on the existence of Indonesian political parties. Among those researches, however, it seems that there has never been a research carried out by employing visual sources such as symbols of political parties. These symbols are often neglected. They are as if something which cannot be explored and tend to be merely a complement for a political party. In fact without any symbols, it is impossible for a political party to follow election. Therefore, a symbol plays a very important role since it is not only to show the identity of a political party but also to fulfill the provisions of legislation. For the above reasons I am interested in carrying out this research. In relation to that, the research employs both political and cultural approaches in order to produce interesting findings about political parties’ symbols. Based on the study upon the symbols of Islamic political parties participating in 1955 – 2004 elections, it is found that the visualization of the symbols undergoes an incredibly dynamic development in both element and sense of form. There are several factors which cause the coming out of visual dynamics on political parties’ symbols such as the experience of national history, cultures built up in the society, and the improvement of design technology. The dynamics of the element of form shows a visual reality that the moon and the star, which are usually regarded as the representation of Islamic political parties, are not always used by Islamic political parties and they are not only used by them as their symbols as well. Furthermore, the dynamics of the sense of form also show interesting finding that the star as the element of form does not constantly produce the same sense of form.

Abstract

ABSTRACTLately, people are often confused with the definition of kawih, tembang, and cianjuran. Quite often the term kawih is dichotomized by the term tembang, or the term tembang is equated with cianjuran. This mistake even applies to educational institutions, both in high schools and in universities. Likewise with the media. This study aims to describe the meaning of kawih, tembang, and cianjuran. The method used is descriptive qualitative through an epistemological approach, which examines the exposure of the meanings of the three terms from several sources, as well as comparing from other sources who also describe the three terms to obtain meaning that is considered ideal. The results obtained are, kawih is a vocal art owned by the Sundanese people and has been around for a long time, long before the sixteenth century. Kawih is also interpreted as all kinds of songs that exist in Sundanese society. Tembang is a type of kawih or song that uses lyrics from the dangding and only emerged and was known in Sundanese society around the XVIII century as an influence of Mataram; cianjuran is a part of Sundanese kawih originating from Cianjur Regency.Keywords: Kawih, Tembang, Tembang Sunda, Cianjuran, Tembang Sunda CianjuranABSTRAKAkhir-akhir ini masyarakat kerap dikelirukan dengan definisi kawih, tembang, dan cianjuran. Tak jarang istilah kawih didikotomikan dengan istilah tembang, atau istilah tembang disamakan artinya dengan cianjuran. Kekeliruan ini bahkan berlaku pada dunia pendidikan, baik di sekolah menengah maupun di perguruan tinggi. Demikian pula pada dunia pers. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna dari kawih, tembang, dan cianjuran. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan epistimologi, yakni menelaah dari paparan makna ketiga istilah dari beberapa sumber, serta membandingkan dari sumber-sumber lain yang juga memaparkan ketiga istilah tadi untuk memperoleh makna yang dianggap ideal. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah, kedudukan kawih merupakan seni suara atau nyanyian yang dimiliki masyarakat Sunda, serta sudah ada sejak lama, jauh sebelum abad XVI. Kawih dimaknai pula sebagai segala jenis nyanyian yang ada pada masyarakat Sunda. Tembang adalah jenis kawih atau nyanyian yang menggunakan lirik dari dangding dan baru muncul serta dikenal di masyarakat Sunda sekitar abad XVIII sebagai pengaruh dari Mataram; sedangkan cianjuran merupakan bagian dari kawih Sunda yang berasal dari daerah Cianjur.Kata kunci: Kawih, Tembang, Tembang Sunda, Cianjuran, Tembang Sunda Cianjuran

Abstract

ABSTRACTWriting the history of the development of modern Indonesian painting from thematic point of viewstill refers to importance events that compose the mainstream of contemporary art trends in Indonesiainfluenced by the West. While events that are no less important relating to the emergence of aesthetictendencies related to religion have been marginalized, especially in modern art with Islamic breath becomeimportant part in the history of the development of modern Indonesian painting, aesthetic approach toanalyze the visual elements present in the painting. Halitu yang menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar perkembanganseni lukis modern bernafaskan Islam menjadi bagian penting dalam sejarah perkembanganseni lukis modern Indonesia khususnya di kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodesejarah visual yang tentu melibatkan pendekatan estetik untuk menganalisis unsur-unsurrupa yang hadir dalam lukisan. Hasil dari penelitian ini perkembangan seni lukis modernbernafaskan Islam di kota Bandung secara tematik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 4 periodeperkembangan, yaitu masa tahun 70-an, masa perkembangan di tahun 80-an, di tahun 90-andan tahun 2000-an. Abstract

Cirebon has a very heterogeneous population. The heterogeneity of the Cirebon Population goes through a very long process, going on since the early days of the Cirebon Sultanate in the XV century. Along with the heterogeneity of its population, Cirebon culture has developed into a culture that is full of diversity, as well as representing cultural diversity in equality. This reality is interesting to observe, especially to find out about how multiculturalism is in Cirebon culture and how the elements of multiculturalism are represented in Cirebon culture. To reveal all this, the historical method is used, which consists of four stages of work, namely, heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of research on several objects of the advancement of Cirebon culture has a correlation with the heterogeneous population of Cirebon. The cultures that contributed to the birth of a multicultural Cirebon culture were Indian, Arabic, Chinese, Western, Sundanese and Javanese culture. The cultural reality of Cirebon, which is full of cultural diversity, certainly needs to be maintained and preserved as well as being a model for strengthening national integration.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The 1990s was the spirit of the New Art Movement undeniable as the embryo of the development of art in the 1990s. Fine art combining all the art that developed (sculpture, painting and printma- king and performance art) by some of the artists who eventually become aesthetic choice. This re- search used emic and etic, semiotic and hermeneutic approach. The research result describes Tisna Sanjaya ideology in the process of creative work tends to raise the issue in this case social critic.Tisna Sanjaya more knows from the source which was appointed to be the theme of his work. Installation art and performace art are an art form that is recognized by Tisna that can communicate directly with the people who were subjected to his art. Tisna Sanjaya as an artist who has the inclination and ideology, art as follows: a) Awareness of the problems though art can not reply on the matter then and there, because art takes time to find the answer. b) Representation of the things that happen to be reported continuously up through artpeople can catch from the issues that are and have happened. Keywords: Ideology,  Art in The 1990’s, Tisna Sanjaya  ABSTRAK Era 1990-an adalah semangat Gerakan Seni Rupa Baru yang tak dapat dipungkiri sebagai embrio dari perkembangan seni rupa 1990-an. Seni rupa yang memadukan seluruh seni yang berkembangh (antara seni patung, seni lukis dan seni grafis dan performance art) berkembang dan mendapat tem- pat oleh beberapa seniman yang akhirnya menjadi pilihan estetikanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutik, semiotik dan etik dan emik.Hasil penelitian memaparkan ideology Tisna Sanjaya dalam proses kerja kreatifnya cenderung mengangkat persoalan kritik sosial.. Tisna Sanjaya sebagai seniman yang memiliki kecenderungan dan memiliki ideologi,  seni sebagai berikut: a) Penyadaran terhadap persoalan walaupun seni tidak dapat menjawab dari persoalan tersebut saat itu juga , karena seni membutuhkan waktu untuk me- nemukan jawabannya. b) Representasi dari hal yang terjadi yang harus dikabarkan terus menerus hingga lewat seni orang dapat menangkap dari persoalan yang sedang dan pernah terjadi. Kata kunci: Ideologi, Seni Era 1990-an, Tisna Sanjaya
