Abstract

Poverty is a complex issue that requires an in-depth understanding of the various factors influencing it. This study aims to analyze the poverty level in Yogyakarta City using a multidimensional approach, as well as identify the factors contributing to this condition. The study employs a quantitative method, with data collected through an empirical survey using structured questionnaires. The respondents of this study are the beneficiaries of the Kartu Maju Sejahtera (Prosperous Advance Card) in Yogyakarta City, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The collected data were analyzed using Smart PLS4 software, with hypothesis testing on variables such as public policy, asset ownership, health, income, and education. The results show that public policy does not have a significant impact on poverty levels. On the other hand, asset ownership, health, income, and education have a significant influence on poverty levels and play an important role. Higher education is strongly correlated with a reduction in poverty levels, while effective public policies, although important, show limitations in their implementation. Moreover, health has a significant impact, but limited access to healthcare services affects the statistical results. The study concludes that increasing income could be a key solution to reducing poverty. These findings emphasize the importance of a multidimensional approach to understanding poverty, highlighting that non-economic factors such as education, health, and asset ownership also play vital roles in determining the welfare of the community. The study provides implications for policymakers to integrate more holistic strategies in poverty alleviation efforts.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the optimization of data interoperability for the efficiency of the One Data Employment System by analyzing the implementation of the One Data standard, technical challenges, organizational needs, and the benefits of strategic steps. This research uses a qualitative research approach with in-depth analysis assisted by NVivo 12 Plus Software with various data sources that support the research results, namely Previous studies/literature reviews, news, and websites on the Satu Employment Data portal. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of the One Data standard includes data collection and exchange policies, development of technological infrastructure, adoption of data standards, personnel training, and stakeholder involvement with inter-agency coordination, as well as regular data reporting and validation, are needed to prevent duplication. Technical challenges relate to differences in communication protocols, data formats, and security. The results of the implementation show that with a careful and collaborative approach, these technical challenges can be overcome, as seen from the network revitalization and increased data security at the Ministry of Manpower with the help of BSSN. Organizational needs by carrying out needs analysis, setting standards, developing infrastructure, and managing data quality. Benefit from strategic steps by aligning departments, training, and regular monitoring, as well as scalability and collaboration. One Employment Data organizers produce quality data through the coordination of various work units and one data policy.

This study investigated the factors that influence digital transformation in the tourism sector of Ponorogo Regency and identified variables that influence this transformation positively or negatively. This study used a quantitative methodology by distributing questionnaires online via Google Forms to 99 respondents in Ponorogo. The data processing used SEM-PLS software for data analysis and hypothesis testing. The study’s findings show that digital transformation in tourism is positively and significantly influenced by leadership, employee engagement, and the external environment through technological advancement. However, organisational culture, structure, communication methods, and resources do not positively or significantly impact the digital transformation of the tourism industry. These findings suggest that local governments should prioritise investments in leadership development, employee training, and delivering the latest technological innovations to implement digital transformation strategies effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to see the implementation, opportunities, and challenges of the Spice Route program in Aceh Province as a world cultural heritage with several indicators, namely Bureaucratic Structure, Resources, Disposition, Communication, Program Content, and Context. A qualitative method with a case study approach and NVivo 12 Plus as a supporter of the analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of the Spice Route program in Aceh Province has not been fully running well, there are many weaknesses in terms of the bureaucratic structure and budgetary resources as well as human resources, commitments are still minimal, and do not meet standards. Furthermore, in terms of activities, it was found that there were still many activities that were ceremonial in nature and did not lead to physical activities, such as the construction of a spice botanical garden as a center for agro-tourism and agro-industry of Aceh spices. In terms of opportunities, it has excellent potential to be used as a world cultural heritage with historical evidence of its herbs and its location as a gateway to the Straits of Malacca and the Indian Ocean for international trade routes. In terms of challenges, there is no good cooperation between agencies, both vertical agencies and the Aceh government and the Aceh government and Regency / City Government.

Abstract

The many potentials of culture tourism and the MSME economy in Wirokerten Village provide opportunities for the realization of Wirokerten Village as a Cultural Independent Village. However, from the many potentials owned, Wirokerten Village still has challenges and problems, namely the need for institutional solid management in integrating tourism potential and not optimizing the marketing of culture-based tourism-MSME potential in Wirokerten Village. The purpose of this activity is to optimize marketing and strengthen institutional management in integrating the tourism potential of culture-based SMEs in Wirokerten Village. The method used in this service is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which is empowerment that aims at community development by emphasizing the potential or assets in a group or region. The results of this program are the formation of a decree on the formation of Pokdarwis, a decree on the Tourism Village Manager, a decree on the Village-Owned Business Entity (BUMKal), Ngontel Ndeso & Ngandong Ndeso Tourism Packages, a cultural-based branding concept for the Pasar Blumbang Mataraman, and an increase in community understanding based on Go-Digital MSMEs. This activity is expected to lead Wirokerten Village to become a Village with the title of Cultural Independent Village.
