Abstract

Abstrack: One of the causes of student’s low understanding of reproductive system material is that there are no learning resources available. This research was aimed to produce guided inquiry based module based on the results of research that is valid and practical. ADDIE (Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate) developing model is used in this research. Qualitative and quantitative data are used in the study. The resulting module is very valid and very practical with the validation value by material 92,43%, media 92,43%, field practitioners 95,7%, and practicality 91,3%.Abstrak: Salah satu penyebab rendahnya pemahaman mahasiswa tentang materi sistem reproduksi yaitu tidak tersedia sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul berbasis inkuiri terbimbing berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada materi sistem reproduksi yang valid dan praktis. ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate) adalah model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian. Data kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan pada penelitian. Modul dikategorikan sangat valid dan sangat praktis dengan nilai validasi materi 94,84%, media 92,43%, praktisi lapangan 95,7%, dan kepraktisan 91,3%.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the learning resources used during lectures at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang in the Human Physiology Anatomy course. This type of research is exploratory research. The population in this study were all Biology students of IKIP Budi Utomo, and the study sample was used by 40 students who have taken courses in human physiology anatomy. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and questionnaires. Data obtained was analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that the main learning resources used in the form of textbooks and internet pages, the learning environment only occurs in the classroom due to limited laboratories, lack of facilities and infrastructure to support learning activities and practicum, as well as learning methods that less trigger students to be active such as presentation discussions, questions, and answers.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis sumber belajar yang digunakan selama kegiatan perkuliahan di  IKIP Budi Utomo Malang pada matakuliah Anatomi Fisiologi Manusia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Biologi IKIP Budi Utomo, dan sampel penelitian yang digunakan 40 mahasiswa yang telah menempuh matakuliah Anatomi Fisiologi Manusia. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan pengisian angket. Data yang diperoreh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber belajar utama yang digunakan berupa buku teks dan laman internet. Lingkungan belajar hanya terjadi di dalam kelas karena terbatasnya laboratorium, kurangnya sarana sarana dan prasarana utuk menunjang kegiatan belajar dan praktikum, serta metode pembelajaran yang kurang memicu mahasiswa untuk bersifat aktif, seperti diskusi presentasi, tanya jawab, dan ceramah.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aim was to develop an e-module based on antimicrobial test studies in microbiology courses. Type of research used is research and development with ADDIE model development. The study subject was student of State University of Malang who has taken the course of Microbiology. The instrument used is questionnaire validation of material and media experts and questionnaires for students. The percentage of results from material expert validation is 95%, the media expert's validation is 98% and the readability test is 88%. Based on the result, it can be concluded that e-module based on antimicrobial test research is valid and feasible to be used as teaching material in microbiology course.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis penelitian uji antimikroba pada matakuliah mikrobiologi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek uji coba adalah mahasiswa S1 Universitas Negeri Malang yang telah menempuh matakuliah Mikrobiologi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket validasi ahli materi dan media serta angket keterbacaan untuk mahasiswa. Persentase hasil dari validasi ahli materi adalah 95%, validasi ahli media adalah 98% dan uji keterbacaan adalah 88%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis penelitian uji antimikroba valid dan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pada matakuliah mikrobiologi.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of research was to determine the need for multimedia based on Problem Based Learning in biological matter. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The method used is in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire). Questionnaires were given to 67 students of SMAN 1 Way Jepara in August 2017. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results indicates that 67.2% of students stated that the material immune system was considered the most difficult, 93.3% of students wanted the development of new learning media, 54% of students wanted interactive multimedia. The conclusion of this study is that it is necessary to develop learning media in the form of interactive multimedia based on Problem Based Learning in the XI class immune system material.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebutuhan terhadap multimedia interaktif berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi Biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan berupa angket (kuesioner). Angket diberikan kepada 67 siswa SMAN 1 Way Jepara Agustus 2017. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 67,2% siswa menyatakan bahwa sistem imun materi yang dianggap paling sulit, 93,3% siswa menginginkan adanya pengembangan media pembelajaran baru, 54% siswa menginginkan multimedia interkatif. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a circulation system module based on hematological studies of T2DM rats. The module is developed based on the adaptation of the ADDIE developmental model. A module that has been developed then went through validation which is material aspect and teaching materials aspect. Practical tests were carried out by an expert in education practitioners and 10 students who had taken Animal Physiology and Humanities courses at the State University of Malang. The average results obtained from the validation of material experts is 95.8% and teaching material experts 91.4%. While the results of field practitioner expert trials amounted to 97, 9% and based on student responses an average of 90.3% are obtained. Based on these results the module can be said to be very valid and very practical to use in the teaching and learning process. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul sistem sirkulasi berdasarkan penelitian hematologi tikus DMT2. Modul dikembangkan berdasarkan adaptasi model pengembangan ADDIE. Modul yang telah dikembangkan kemudian melalui tahap validasi materi dan bahan ajar. Uji kepraktisan dilakukan oleh ahli praktisi pendidikan dan 10 mahasiswa yang telah menempuh matakuliah Fisiologi Hewan dan Manusia Universitas Negeri Malang. Rata-rata yang diperoleh dari hasil validasi ahli materi 95,8%, ahli bahan ajar 91,4%, uji coba ahli praktisi lapangan 97,9% dan respon mahasiswa rata-rata 90, 3%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, modul dapat dikatakan sangat valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Spodoptera litura is folifagus agricultural pest with a tendency of resistance towards chemistry compound. This becomes a reason in the efforts to overcome it. The use of botanical material becomes one of the alternatives in controlling its population. The plant of Mirabilis jalapa has the active biopesticide compound that becomes its alternative prevention. This plant has the potential chemistry compound as biopesticide which works toward weakening immunity that is ended by the death of S. litura.  This research aims to analyze the existence of lectin protein as an indicator of immunity reaction’s activation Spodoptera litura after exposing biopesticide M. jalapa. Lectin test was conducted by using spot-test hemagglutination assay (HA) then was seen its speed forming of titer. The result of research shows that lectin was on the part of hemolimf S. litura supernatant. The result test shows that on the concentration 0.2% binding of lectin, carbohydrate and erythrocyte cells of vertebrate formed faster. The speed of titer forming was influenced by the number of hemosit. This is caused by immulectin receptors were on the cell’s surface. Therefore, exposing M. jalapa can induce lectin activation which functioned as the recognizing receptor of strange object which directly bound with carbohydrate related to the reaction of body immunity.Key words: biopesticide Mirabilis jalapa, lectin, immunity system, Spodoptera litura.

Abstract

Abstract: The research about the learning cell type of cooperative learning model has been conducted in SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to improve the student achievement on the topic solubility and constant solubility product (Kelarutan dan Hasil Kali Kelarutan Ksp) in class XI SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with experiment design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Sample of the research consisted of two classes, a class XI MIA2 as an experimental class (implemented the learning cell type of cooperative learning model) and class XI MIA1 as the control class (without the learning cell type of cooperative learning model). T-test was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained t > t table i.e 3.63 > 1.66, meaning that the application of the learning cell type of cooperative learning model can improve the student achievement on the subject solubility and constant solubility product (Ksp) in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. The improvement of the student achievement category (N-Gain) as high as 0.82.Keywords: Student Achievement, The Leraning Cell Type Of Cooperative Learning Model, solubility and constant solubility product (Ksp).

Abstract

Rambutan is a tropical fruit that grow well in Indonesia and the peel is considered as waste. Many researchers’ showed that rambutan peel contains polyphenol that could be expected to avoid obesity.  The objective of this study was to explore the increasing production of local rambutan and to identify the promising phytochemical compounds on its peel as phytopharmaca candidate against obesity. Survey was conducted on the production of rambutan, potential plantation area, and marketing. Sample of rambutan peel collected from the sub-district Kanigoro, Blitar. Phytochemical compounds were analyzed using TLC, HPLC and FT-IR. Bioassay analysis used obesity rat models. The survey result showed a mean of rambutan production increased 2,6% in 2007-2012. Average production of rambutan 70-120 kg/tree. Vegetative multiplication usually done to maintenance of rambutan quality. The main compound of  Rambutan peel  extract (RPE) is flavonoids, tannins, ellagic acid and the major functional group of CH3, aliphatic CH3, and C=O. These compounds have a potential activity against obesity.  RPE 30 mg/kgBW dose was significantly inhibit the weight gain of obese rats and reducing the adipocyte size (p<0.05).Key words: potency, production, local rambutan, blitar, obesity

Abstract

Alanine is a secondary metabolic secretion from Mirabilis jalapa. It is used as a modulation of natural pesticide compound. Alanine is predicted to act as an inhibitor compound in the defense mechanisms in the insect body. This study investigated the modeling structures and the protein receptor from alanine in the immune system mechanism and their optimization of the effectiveness as biopesticides to the insects. This research was conducted using an in silico modeling through the reverse docking stage, including the collection of 3D structures of natural compounds, prediction of target protein, receptor profiling, clarification of the potential of alanine compounds based on mode of action with PyRx 0.8 software, and interaction visualization between alanine compounds with the target protein using PyMOL and LigPlus+ software. The results showed that the alanine compounds from M. jalapa plants have targeted well the glutamate receptors in the insects. Both alanine and glutamate compounds have the same interactions with the glutamate proteins receptor shown by the Van der Waals interaction, e.g. the hydrogen bonding on certain amino acids has binding affinity of -15.889 kJ/mol. The interaction between alanine and glutamate affects the signal transduction cascade at the cellular level due to a neuromuscle and olfactory inhibitor. In addition, the continuous interruption of signal transduction affects the dysfunctional immune system of the insect body leading to their mortality.
