Abstract

This research is the development of diagnostic tests to map the student‟s X grade models mental of SMA/MAN material temperature and heat. This research method Borg and Gall, namely (1) a preliminary study consisting of literature, field surveys, and development plans, (2) development of a draft product consisting of a draft product, due diligence, revised draft product, and product development results. Feasibility was measured by using due diligence by matter experts (lecturer of Physics and Teacher of Physics) and the audience (students). The results of the study in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. The data analysis technique used is the technique of analysis the average score. The results of the analysis of the average matter expert evaluators gained an average total of 3.55 which is in the category viable. Based on the analysis of data from the expert material, there are several items that need to be revised diagnostic tests. Based on the acquisition due diligence can be concluded that the diagnostic tests to map the student‟s X grade models mental of SMA/MAN material temperature and heat fit for use as a student assessment instruments. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar dengan strategi problem solving berbantuan PhET, strategi problem solving, dan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi dengan posttest only design. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tes penguasaan konsep sebanyak 20 soal dan 5 untuk soal kemampuan berpikir kritis setelah diberikan perlakuan pada 3 kelompok kelas berbeda SMAN 8 Mataram. Kelompok pertama adalah siswa yang belajar dengan strategi problem solving berbantuan PhET, kelompok kedua adalah siswa yang belajar dengan strategi problem solving, dan kelompok ketiga adalah siswa yang belajar secara konvensional. Sebelum dilakukan perlakuan dan pengambilan data, instrumen yang digunakan telah melalui uji ahli dan uji coba. Data yang telah diproses dianalisis menggunakan multivariate of Anova kemudian diuji lanjut dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Strategi problem solving berbantuan PhET lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan strategi problem solving dan konvensional terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika siswa. (2) Strategi problem solving berbantuan PhET lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan strategi problem solving dan konvensional terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Kata Kunci: problem solving, PhET, penguasaan konsep, kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

The weak of students' scientific argumentation skills in lessons has been a concern, especially in applying concepts of heat and temperature. Although heat and temperature are related to daily activity, it doesn’t ensure that students have the correct concept. This study purposes to describe students' scientific argumentation skills on heat and temperature. This research was conducted on 11th-grade in mathematics and science students in Senior High School 4 of Malang. This study found that students' scientific argumentation skills on average were at level 2nd and level 3rd. In addition, we found three patterns of scientific argumentation skills: (1) correct claims and evidence are accompanied by support for the evidence provided, (2) correct claims but use incomplete evidence, and (3) correct claims but the evidence is given wrong. This result it is expected to be the attention of teachers to implement learning models that can improve students' scientific argumentation skills.

Abstract

A thermoelectric device is produced from several materials that can convert heat into electrical energy or vice versa by generating the Seebeck effect and the Peltier effect. Then the energy can be formed from a heat source. This research used copper monosulfide (CuS) and lead monosulfide (PbS) as the primary materials for thermoelectric manufacture in the form of films. The method used in this research is a spin coating. This method uses the procedure of making a thin film on the substrate. The choice of this material is because CuS and PbS have high electrical conductivity and low thermal conductivity, so the value figure of merit (ZT) is high. From the thin film produced, an annealing process will be carried out to remove unwanted elements. After the sample is finished, the electrical conductivity test will be carried out with four probes, x-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The four probes' conductivity test characterization results for one-layer, two-layers, and three-layers variations are 27.4 S/m, 53.6 S/m, and 106.8 S/m, respectively. From the SEM results, the grain size obtained from one-layer, two-layers, and three-layers variations are 227.9 nm, 397.8 nm, and 269.6 nm, respectively. Based on the XRD results, the crystal size obtained for variations of one-layer, two-layers, and three-layers has a size of 43.65 nm, 43.55 nm, and 43.60 nm, respectively. Abstract

Dillem Wilis Agroedutourism has only collaborated with several parties but not directly with the community. Therefore, based on the priority of the problems, it is necessary to innovate towards internet-based online information to increase the expansion of marketing information for Dillem Willis Trenggalek Agrotourism. The hope is that Dillem Wilis Agrotourism can be known by the wider community. With this website, it can provide insight to the people of Trenggalek and outside the city that the Dillem Wilis plantation in Trenggalek Regency has an agro-edutourism tourism destination based on dairy cows and coffee which is suitable for use as educational facilities, namely the Science Techno Park and the Agricultural Technology Park. The steps taken include maximizing the use of the website, expanding marketing information and providing information on sales of coffee and dairy products on the website to increase visitors and turnover. The result of this service is that Dillem Wilis members have editing and marketing skills for websites. Members of Dillem Wilis are also starting to be able to use the website as a marketing medium for selling coffee and milk. Consumers make purchases from a website page that is connected to Dillem Wilis' WhatsApp, members prepare orders, then send them to the consumer's address. Abstract

Tourism development in Indonesia continues to be carried out to attract tourists and create prosperity for the community. Mountain areas in the form of agricultural areas, plantations, and livestock are areas that have the potential to be used as tourist attractions. One of the tourist attractions in mountainous areas in East Java is Dillem Wilis agro-tourism which is located in Trenggalek Regency. Dillem Wilis is situated at the foot of Mount Wilis which is famous for its coffee processing tours in Dutch heritage factories and dairy farms. The area of ​​Dillem Wilis agro-tourism is about 200 Ha. Existing tourist facilities have not been effective in attracting tourists to visit Dillem Wilis agro-tourism. The purpose of this dedication is to develop a high bridge rope sports vehicle to increase the interest of tourists in visiting Dillem Wilis agro-tourism. The service process is carried out in 4 stages, namely, site observation, vehicle design, vehicle procurement, and trials. The high bridge rope ride was built across the river with a height of 3 meters and a length of 8 meters. The high bridge rope rides that were built consisted of a wooden bridge and a rope bridge. Rides high bridge rope can be used as a vehicle for educational tours of sports that can train the courage of children and adults. Abstrak Upaya pengembangan pariwisata di Indonesia terus dilakukan untuk menarik minat wisatawan dan menciptakan kemakmuran bagi masyarakat. Daerah pegunungan yang berupa daerah pertanian, perkebunan dan peternakan merupakan daerah yang berpotensi untuk dijadikan objek wisata. Salah satu objek wisata di daerah pegunungan yang ada di Jawa Timur adalah agrowisata Dillem Wilis yang terletak di Kabupaten Trenggalek. Dillem Wilis berada di kaki Gunung Wilis yang terkenal dengan wisata pengolahan kopi di pabrik peninggalan Belanda dan peternakan sapi perah. Luas wilayah agrowisata Dillem Wilis sekitar 200 Ha. Fasilitas wisata yang ada belum efektif menarik minat wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke agrowisata Dillem Wilis. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah upaya pengembangan wahana olahraga high bridge rope untuk meningkatkan minat wisatawan agar tertarik untuk berkunjung ke agrowisata Dillem Wilis. Proses pengabdian dilakukan dalam 4 tahap yaitu, pengamatan lokasi, desain rancang bangun wahana, pengadaan wahana, dan uji coba. Wahana high bridge rope dibangun melintasi sungai dengan ketinggian wahana 3 meter dan panjang 8 meter. Wahana high bridge rope yang dibangun terdiri dari jembatan kayu dan jembatan tali. Wahana high bridge rope dapat digunakan sebagai wahana wisata edukasi olahraga yang dapat melatih keberanian anak-anak dan orang dewasa.

Abstract

The need for food and the need for community empowerment, the fulfillment of new and renewable energy and productive economic activity continue to increase in line with the explosive rate of population growth, this is also what underlies the joint targets of the SDGs in points 2, 5, 7 and 8. The Cemara Hijau Farm (KWT CHF) Farmer Women's Group located in the urban area of Malang city needs solving problems in the form of land expansion, access to sustainable irrigation, and optimum irradiation of crops. In this technology implementation activity, it is carried out to increase the active role of women and increase the agricultural productivity of KWT CHF with various limitations owned. Urban Farming with the vertical concept of agrivoltaic hydroponics can maximize land use in urban areas and photovoltaic-powered LED growlight irradiation can maximize energy and reduce operational costs. Implementation is carried out with the stages of Socialization, Installation, Collaboration, Training, Monitoring and Evaluation. The results of this activity are (1) agrivoltaic technology with a capacity of 1.35 kWh, (2) planting point capacity that can be created 476 points on an area of 8 m2, (3) utilization of circulation tubs as fish farming ponds covering an area of 6 m2 with a capacity of 60 fish, and (4) a 24-hour irradiation system with LED growlight. This community service program can increase the agricultural productivity of KWT CHF, provide added value activities, and reduce agricultural operational costs so that it has a positive impact on sustainable economic value for KWT CHF. For further development, a broader follow-up implementation is needed by involving many regional points by making pilot projects at KWT CHF as pilots for other regions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh penambahan Fe3O4 terhadap mikrostruktur pada PANI/Ag/Fe3O4 (2) pengaruh Fe3O4 terhadap konduktivitas film PANI/Ag-Fe3O4 (3) pengaruh Fe3O4 terhadap sifat magneto elektrik PANI/Ag/Fe3O4 (4) pengaruh Fe3O4 terhadap sifat elektro optik PANI-Ag-Fe3O4. Nanokomposit PANI-Ag-Fe3O4 telah diteliti sebagai aplikasi devais elektronik, dimana PANI menjadi pilihan karena ramah lingkungan, stabil dan potensi aplikasi yang menjanjikan. Dalam penelitian ini PANI berperan sebagai matriks, Ag sebagai katalis meningkatkan konduktivitas PANI dan Fe3O4 sebagai pengaruh sifat kemagnetan. PANI/Ag/Fe3O4 disintesis menggunakan metode polimerasi kimia untuk menambahkan doping Ag pada PANI dan metode kopresipitasi pada Fe3O4 untuk variasi komposit pada PANI. Gugus fungsi dari sampel yang diperoleh dikarakterisasi menggunakan FTIR, kristalinitas dan fase yang terbentuk hasil karakterisasi XRD, mikrostrutur sampel hasil karakterisasi dari SEM. Konduktivitas PANI/Ag/Fe3O4 diketahui dari pengukuran 4 probe sedangkan sifat magneto elektrik dan elektro optik merupakan pengembangan dari konduktivitas sebanding dengan medan magnet dan intensitas cahaya yang diberikan pada sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat fase Fe2O3 akibat Fe3O4 teroksidasi saat protonasi AgNO3 pada perlakuan sonikasi. Doping Ag meningkatkan konduktivitas namun seiring penambahan Fe3O4 ditingkatkan dan medan magnet yang diterapkan menyebabkan sifat magneto elektrik menurun dari 20.414–2.42 S/cm. Fe3O4 tidak mempengaruhi pembentukan struktur kristal tetapi mempengaruhi mikrostruktur dari sampel PANI/Ag/Fe3O4. Sifat elektro optik mengalami peningkatan seiring intensitas cahaya yang diberikan berkisar 20.414 S/cm sampai 31.84 S/cm.

Abstract

Gadingkasri Village is one of the villages located in the Klojen District of Malang City which is located in the downtown area of Malang. The location of the village surrounded by a business center and several universities makes this village very strategic because it is a densely populated residential area with a combination of residential communities and students as boarding house residents. With this condition, Gadingkasri Village has considerable economic zone potential for its people. Gadingkasri Village, especially residents in RW. 3, there is a community of PKK mothers who are members of the Urban Farming Group who have a vision to green residential areas by gardening around settlements. One of the potentials that can be developed is to develop community activities in the Urban Farming community towards optimizing energy and increasing residents' income by raising catfish. The community service program through funding from the State University of Malang aims to maximize the existing potential through the use of appropriate technology. The method used in this service is a method of empowering catfish farming by utilizing appropriate technology engineering for sustainable alternative energy. The activities that have been carried out are in the form of mentoring, designing, installing aquaponic systems, and biofloc pools, and solar panels which will be alternative energy in supplying aquaponic pump electrical systems and biofloc ponds. The results of this service activity are expected to be an alternative energy source solution that can be used independently by RW residents. 3 Gadingkasri village. Abstract

Students' low critical thinking skills are an obstacle in learning uniform circular motion. The aim of the study was to describe the effect of using STEM-based 3D-multimedia in improving the critical thinking skills of students from the northern coast of Java in uniform circular motion material. This research is a pre-experimental with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The research sample was 26 students of class X-IPA MA Hasyimiyah Bancar. The treatment of the samples was carried out by using STEM-based 3D-multimedia during four face-to-face lessons in class. The results show that the students' critical thinking skills improved by 56,1% after the implementation of the STEM-based 3D multimedia. This quantitative result is proven by critical thinking skills indicators that can be identified in the students' critical thinking skills test answers. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of STEM-based 3D-multimedia enhanced the students' critical thinking skills in uniform circular motion quite significantly.
