Abstract

Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan Kabupaten Trenggalek saat ini sedang mengembangkan komoditas susu sapi perah di Daerah Dillem Wilis. Peternak susu merupakan mata pencaharian utama masyarakat disekitar Dillem Wilis, sehingga banyak kandang sapi disekitar Kawasan Dillem Wilis. Budidaya sapi perah oleh Dinas Pertanian dan Peternakan Kabupaten Trenggalek sebanyak 17 ekor. Hasil susu dari Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan serta masyarakat di Kawasan Dillem Wilis biasanya dijual langsung ke penampung susu untuk diolah menjadi susu dalam kemasan botol yang nantinya produk susu dalam botol akan dijual di Caffee TTP Dillem Wilis. Akan tetapi produk susu botol yang dijual mempunyai masa konsumsi yang yang pendek, yakni hanya mampu bertahan satu hari dalam lemari pendingin. Hal ini mengharuskan Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan Kabupaten Trenggalek melakukan inovasi dalam teknologi pengolahan susu untuk menambah nilai ekonomis sekaligus memperkenalkan produk susu sapi perah masyarakat Kawasan Dillem Wilis hingga ke luar kota. Pengembangan dari inovasi pengolahan susu yang menghasilkan produk dengan masa konsumsi lama dan memiliki nilai jual tinggi kami olah menjadi produk keju dan yoghurt. Inovasi dari pengolahan ini dengan menggunakan metode inkubasi dari alat yang kami rancang dengan kapasitas yang disesuaikan kebutuhan mitra.

Abstract

This study aims to identify madrasah students' Computational Thinking (CT) skills on temperature and heat material. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method using 5 CT-test essay questions to 53 grade XI IPA one of the Islamic Senior High School in Probolinggo. Data analysis techniques in research consist of 3 stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Data analysis showed indicators of students' CT skills on a scale of 5 consisting of decomposition 3.90, recognition pattern 3.63, abstraction 2.83, and algorithm 2.37. Based on the study’s results, it can be concluded that the CT skills of the Islamic Senior High School in Probolinggo at temperature and heat are included in the medium category. Several indicators of CT skills are still challenging for students, especially in developing algorithms and abstractions. Some students need help identifying the steps to solve complex problems in understanding abstraction concepts and algorithms. In this case, practice, intensive tutoring, and student collaboration can help improve students' skills to overcome these difficulties.

Abstract

Photoelectrochemical (PEC) is a new renewable energy technology that converts H2O into hydrogen and oxygen gas with the help of sunlight. A photoelectrochemical cell device consists of three main components, one of which is the photoanode. One of the materials that can be used as a photoanode is ZnO which has good electrical properties and is non-toxic. Nanorods-structured ZnO has the advantage of being able to increase light absorption due to its high surface area. However, the resulting performance is still quite low. So it is necessary to make modifications to the photoanode, one of which is by adding aluminium material to ZnO NRs, which has the potential to increase the conductivity of PEC in the production of H2 and O2 in H2O. To overcome the loss of samples during testing, the thin film will be coated with conductive polymers such as polyaniline (PANi), which has high conductivity, can increase photoactive ability, and has good corrosion resistance. In this study, the performance of ZnO NRs/PANi against AZO NRs/PANi will be studied by adding aluminium. The ZnO nanorods were synthesized by Hydrothermal method, Aluminium was deposited on ZnO NRs by DC Magnetron Sputtering method, and PANi was synthesized by polymerization method. From the XRD characterization results, it can be concluded that the addition of aluminium to ZnO NRs/PANi causes an increase in crystallinity and peak shift. SEM characterization shows that the addition of Al to ZnO NRs/PANi causes the porosity value to increase. In addition, UV-Vis characterization showed that the addition of Al material to the ZnO NRs/PANi thin film resulted in a wider range of absorbance of the light spectrum. Then, Cyclic Voltammetry test shows that the addition of aluminium increases the efficiency of the photoelectrochemical.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to analyze students' mastery of concepts in the Modeling Instruction with web formative assessment to the material of dynamic fluids. The subjects of research were 32 students of XI Grade at SMAN 1 Singosari. The design of this study using mix method embedded experimental. This research instrument is the Mastery Concepts Test of Dynamic Fluids. The research data were analyzed by the Kolmogorov-Sminorv normality test, the T-test. To find out the magnitude of the variables’ increase and effect by using the N-gain and Effect Size test. The results 0.66 (high category) showed the increase of students Fluids Dinamic posttest scores after being given the modeling instruction with web formative assessment. The magnitude of treatment effect was 0.67 show the moderate category effect.Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalis tentang penguasaan konsep siswa pada pembelajaran dengan Modeling Instruction disertai Web Assessmen Formatif pada materi fluida dinamis. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 32 peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 1 Singosari. Design penelitian menggunakan mix method embedded experimental. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa soal penguasaan konsep fluida dinamis. Data penelitian yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan uji normalitas Kolmogorov – Sminorv, uji T. N-gain dan Effect Size di uji untuk mengukur besarnya peningkatan dan pengaruh. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan 0,66 (kategori tinggi) pada nilai posttest peserta didik materi fluida dinamis setelah diberi Modeling Instruction disertai Asesmen Formatif berbasis Web. Besarnya pengaruh perlakuan sebesar 0.67 yang termasuk kategori Moderat effect.

Abstract

Superconductors are materials that can conduct electric current without resistance. The application of superconducting materials in the field of transportation is the super-fast train or Magnetic Levitation (MagLev). BPSCCO added with Al2O3 nanoparticles has been successfully synthesized using the wet mixing method. In this study, variations in the sintering temperature (840 and 880oC) were carried out using the wet mixing method. The performance of BPSCCO with the addition of Al2O3 was carried out by testing XRD, SEM, and I-V. Based on the results of XRD characterization, the volume fraction, impurity, and crystal size respectively were 57.49% (BPSCCO-840), 38.96% (BPSCCO-880); 42.5% (BPSCCO-840), 38.96% (BPSCCO-880) and 21.38 nm (BPSCCO-840); 28.84 nm (BPSCCO-880). Based on the results of the SEM test, the sample slabs are regular and have little free space. Based on the I-V test results, the BPSCCO-840 sample has the highest electrical conductivity of 2.4x104 S/m at a current of 0.6 mA and the BPSCCO-880 sample has a conductivity of 2.8x104 S/m at a current of 0.3 mA

Abstract

This research aims to develop formative assessment media assisted by conceptual scaffolding to improve students’ understanding of temperature and heat, test its validity and practicality, and gauge student responses. Utilizing the ADDIE model, the research follows five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In the Analysis stage, a literature review was conducted to identify critical components, including formative assessment, conceptual scaffolding, concept mastery, and previous research. The Design stage involved identifying users, defining competencies and indicators, creating a storyboard, integrating assessment components, and determining mastery levels. During the Development stage, the assessment media were developed into a functional product. The Implementation stage saw the validated assessment applied in classroom settings. In the Evaluation stage, feedback was used to refine the product. The assessment media is designed for use on Android devices and computers, available as a .apk file or via a website. Formative assessments evaluate student understanding by providing feedback and conceptual scaffolding, especially when students struggle with questions. Feedback and scaffolding prompts appear after incorrect answers, guiding students through conceptual questions in stages to build understanding. Students who correctly interpret the feedback demonstrate mastery of the concepts. The study’s findings reveal that the formative assessment media, assisted by conceptual scaffolding, is both valid (89%) and practical (80%) for teaching temperature and heat in physics.DOI: 10.17977/jps.v12i42024p123

Abstract

The weakness in students’ scientific argumentation, particularly in providing evidence-based arguments, has become a significant concern in education. This study aims to assess students’ scientific argumentation skills specifically on the topic of static fluids. The survey was conducted with 78 twelfth-grade students from private high schools in East Java, Indonesia, who had previously studied this topic. A scientific argumentation test instrument, consisting of an essay format with five questions, was employed to collect data. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, followed by a classification based on static fluid subtopics and the level of scientific argumentation skill. The results indicated that the average student score was 10.60, which falls within a low category. Additionally, the findings revealed that a substantial number of students failed to sufficiently use evidence to support their arguments. These outcomes highlight the need for instructional strategies that better develop students’ scientific argumentation skills.DOI: 10.17977/jps.v12i32024p104

Abstract

Supercapacitor is a high power density energy storage device which complements the lack of batteries and conventional capacitors. One material which has a great potential in the manufacture of composite supercapacitor is spinel ZnCo2O4/carbon nano tube and abreviated in the later case as ZCO/CNT. Composition variations in ZCO/CNT composites is expected to the performance of supercapacitor especially the dielectric properties and specific capacitance. Inthis study the composite ZCO/CNT was made from raw materials of ZCO nano crystal which was prepared from previous research on which employing sonochemistry technic, carbon nano tube, and 1-methil 2 pyrolidine. A screen printing method was used in this experiment to deposite the composite on silver substrates. The separator in between of two identical composite structures was prepared from isotactic polypropylene. We used KOH 6 M which was implemented as electrolyte of the composites. Characterization of composite structures has been performed using X-RD, while the morphology characterization using SEM. It was found that the dielectric supercapacitor increase by increasing of mass fraction of ZCO in the composite. Thehighest dielectric constant is reached at 1.89 x 106 and the specific capacitance of 81 F/g for 3:1mass ratio of ZCO : CNT at 100 Hz.

Abstract

Lembah Dilem Wilis yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Trenggalek merupakan agroeduwisata yang dikembangkan untuk memberikan pembelajaran kepada wisatawan mengenai teknologi pertanian sejak jaman Belanda. Agroeduwisata Dilem Wilis memang lokasi yang sangat cocok untuk berwisata dan mulai dikembangkan pemerintah bersama masyarakat. Strategi pengembangan agroeduwisata Dilem Wilis digunakan untuk mendatangkan wisatawan dengan daya tarik yang dimiliki. Perencanaan pengadaan instalasi Archery Zone di Dilem Wilis dapat menjadi daya tarik bagi wisatawan. Wahana memanah (archery) adalah suatu cabang olahraga yang menggunakan busur panah dan anak panah dalam pengaplikasiannya, dengan melepaskan anak panah melalui lintasan menuju sasaran pada jarak tertentu. Hal ini dirasa cocok karena kondisi alam yang mendukung dan belum adanya fasilitas wahana di kawasan ini. Hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam pengadaan ini yaitu perlunya tingkat keamanan yang tinggi saat pengujian, pemakaian wahana, dan jumlah set perlengkapan keamanan yang memadai supaya dapat menampung banyaknya peserta yang ingin melakukan wahana ini. Pembukaan wahana ini dilakukan dengan beberapa langkah, mulai dari perizinan pembukaan lahan, perangkaian set perlengkapan panahan, uji coba dan pelatihan singkat, serta penyerahan set perlengkapan wahana Archery Zone kepada pihak pengelola Dilem Wilis, Kabupaten Trenggalek. Abstract

Lembah Dillem wilis merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata agrowisata yang terletak di Kabupaten Trenggalek. Dengan kondisi lahan yang cenderung berbukit-bukit dan alamnya yang indah serta perkebunan yang masih alami dengan lereng yang cukup landai. Akses jalan yang masih terlihat berbatuan dan berlumpur serta terdapat lahan kosong yang belum dikembangkan dan berada di kawasan mudah terjadinya longsor. Maka, membutuhkan sebuah solusi untuk meminimalisir terjadinya longsor agar tidak mengurangi potensi alam dan budaya yang dimiliki kawasan tersebut. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan Soil Bioengineering dengan penanaman tanaman konservasi di kawasan Dillem wilis. Tanaman konservasi yang ditanam adalah tanaman bambu yang memiliki potensi konservasi yang tinggi. kegiatan ini dimulai dengan observasi sampai implementasi dan serah terima produk. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini, selain untuk meminimalisir terjadinya bencana longsor pada kawasan Dillem wilis juga membantu masyarakat untuk menjadikan kawasan lebih asri lagi dan menjaga serta memajukan potensi alam dan budaya yang dimiliki.
