Abstract

AbstractAn essential component in the education work that all school members must consider is discipline in teaching and learning activities. A timeline always marks one example of a field according to a predetermined schedule, including entry schedules, changing subjects, and going home. Change of time is observed by ringing the school bell. The problems faced by the partners are the regulation of changing the allocation of time for each subject contained in the learning system, which still uses a manual bell so that the process of changing learning hours is not maximized, and the timeliness of the officers in ringing the bell to change class hours. Bell ringing is still done manually, so there are still obstacles in its application, including delays in ringing the bell. This activity aims to apply appropriate technology for automatic school bells using Arduino to discipline students. The problem-solving method in Community Partnership Program activities is through observation to analyze the situation and design a mechanical school bell based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The results obtained from this activity can reduce the obstacles encountered while using the manual bell so that the bell function can be increased effectively with this new system. The automatic bell system developed at SDN Rejosopinggir is a system-based Arduino Uno microcontroller where the system is equipped with various kinds of sounds that have been determined so that it is easy to operate the bell. The work program research conducted at SDN Rejosopinggir positively impacts the discipline of students when changing study bells or activities.Keywords: Arduino, Automatic School Bell, Discipline, Appropriate Technology AbstrakKomponen penting dalam dunia pendidikan yang harus diperhatikan oleh seluruh warga sekolah adalah kedisiplinan waktu kegiatan belajar mengajar. Salah satu contoh kedisiplinan selalu ditandai dengan ketepatan waktu sesuai jadwal yang telah ditetapkan meliputi jadwal masuk, pergantian mata pelajaran, dan pulang. Pergantian waktu ditandai dengan pembunyian bel sekolah. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah pengaturan pergantian alokasi waktu untuk setiap mata pelajaran yang terdapat pada sistem pembelajaran masih menggunakan bel manual, sehingga dalam melakukan proses pergantian jam pembelajaran yang dilakukan belum maksimal, dan ketidaktepatan waktu oleh petugas dalam membunyikan bel tanda pergantian jam pelajaran. Pembunyian bel masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga masih ada kendala dalam penerapannya, diantaranya adalah keterlambatan dalam membunyikan bel. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan teknologi tepat guna bel sekolah otomatis menggunakan Arduino sebagai upaya untuk mendisiplinkan siswa. Metode pendekatan penyelesaian masalah dalam kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat dilakukan melalui observasi untuk menganalisis situasi, lalu merancang bel sekolah otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler Arduino Uno. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat mengurangi kendala yang dihadapi selama menggunakan bel manual, sehingga penerapan sistem yang baru ini dapat meningkatkan fungsi bel secara efektif. Sistem bel otomatis yang dikembangkan di SDN Rejosopinggir ini adalah sistem berbasis mikrokontroler Ardiano Uno. Sistem tersebut dilengkapi dengan berbagai macam suara yang telah ditentukan sehingga sangat memudahkan dalam mengoperasikan bel tersebut. Pelaksanaan program kerja yang dilakukan di SDN Rejosopinggir ini memberikan dampak positif bagi kedisiplinan para siswa di saat pergantian bel belajar atau kegiatan.Kata Kunci: Arduino, Bel Sekolah Otomatis, Disiplin, Teknologi Tepat Guna

Abstract

The science of hadith plays a crucial role in Islamic education, aiding in the interpretation and clarification of Quranic teachings. This study investigates the impact of implementing a scientific approach in teaching Hadith Science at MA Unggulan K.H. Abd. Wahab Hasbulloh. Using a pre-experimental design with 34 students, pretest and posttest scores were analyzed to assess learning outcomes. Results indicate significant improvement post-implementation, with most students achieving "Very Good" and "Good" grades. The average N-Gain score of 0.6 suggests moderate improvement, affirming the effectiveness of the scientific approach in enhancing student understanding and engagement. This study contributes to the discourse on effective pedagogical methods in religious education, emphasizing active learning and critical thinking skills development.

Abstract

The use of information and communication technology in the field of education has changed the paper-based manual assessment system into an online assessment using a website. Paper-based assessment is considered less effective because it takes a lot of money, time, place and personnel in its implementation and there are still acts of student cheating in carrying out the exam. Therefore, it is necessary to make a breakthrough in the assessment that utilizes the website. The method used in designing this web-based exam system is the waterfall method. The E-Test instrument as a website-based assessment innovation is expected to be one of the breakthroughs in administering the Exam that is able to reduce operational costs, time, and reduce fraudulent actions.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada pembelajaran di sekolah. Hal serupa juga terjadi di MAN 3 Jombang, pembelajaran yang dilakukan adalah pembelajaran online. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan pembelajaran online membuat siswa kurang memahami materi yang disajikan karena guru hanya memberikan materi melalui ppt dan media yang digunakan hanya buku pegangan siswa dan LKS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa materi e-module virus untuk mendukung pembelajaran online di MAN 3 Jombang dengan cara observasi. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini Bagaimana merancang dan kelayakan media pembelajaran e-modul untuk materi pembelajaran biologi tentang virus. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar validasi ahli media, lembar validasi ahli materi dan angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa materi virus e-module yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dengan revisi dengan rata-rata persentase yang diberikan oleh validator sebesar 93,76%. Secara keseluruhan mahasiswa merespon sangat baik dengan persentase rata-rata 78,5% terhadap materi e-modul virus yang dikembangkan untuk mendukung pembelajaran online.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the basic skills of teaching students through peer teaching in micro learning courses in the Physics Education Study Program, KH University. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang in semester 6 with 8 students. Basic teaching skills are seen based on learning tools made based on the 2018 revised 2013 Curriculum which are then implemented through peer teaching and monitored by the implementation sheet of the learning process. The learning tools made consist of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) with learning scenarios. The research data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the ability of students to prepare lesson plans and learning scenarios in the criteria was very good with an average of 4.5. Meanwhile, basic teaching skills based on the implementation of lesson plans and learning scenarios during peer teaching are in poor criteria with average. 3.1. It is necessary to do peer teaching repeatedly on cognate subjects so that the basic skills of teaching students are getting better.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of utilizing the PhET virtual laboratory on the development of science process skills among students. Conducted with a repeated treatment design (one group pretest-posttest design), the research involved 30 eleventh-grade science students from MA Bahrul Ulum Jombang. Throughout the study, students engaged with mechanical wave topics using the PhET virtual simulations. Their science process skills were meticulously evaluated through various scientific approaches including problem formulation, hypothesis development, identification of variables, data interpretation, and the ability to draw logical conclusions. The results revealed a marked improvement in these skills following the intervention with the virtual laboratory. Specifically, students demonstrated enhanced abilities in forming coherent hypotheses, accurately identifying relevant variables, and effectively interpreting complex data sets. Moreover, their skills in synthesizing information to formulate valid conclusions were significantly bolstered. The use of the PhET virtual laboratory not only fostered a deeper understanding of mechanical wave concepts but also facilitated a more interactive and engaging learning environment. These findings advocate for the broader integration of such technological tools in science education, emphasizing their role in enriching students' learning experiences and advancing their analytical and scientific thinking skills.

Abstract

Pengembangan mekanisasi pertanian di suatu wilayah di Indonesia relevan jika berpedoman bahwa penerapan alat mesin pertanian tersebut minimal dapat membayar harganya sendiri, dapat menekan biaya produksi, serta tidak menimbulkan pengaruh lingkungan yang tidak dikehendaki. Mekanisasi pertanian bertujuan untuk memberikan inovasi teknologi terkait alat pertanian kepada para petani melalui penyuluhan. Dengan demikian, kelompok tani di Desa Mojokrapak perlu dibekali pengetahuan dan keterampilan terkait pengembangan mekanisasi pertanian melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna berupa alat penabur pupuk semi otomatis sehingga diharapkan mampu mengurangi kejerihan kerja petani, memperbaiki mutu hasil, meningkatkan efisiensi tenaga, efisiensi waktu, pendapatan dan kesejahteraan petani serta menekan biaya produksi karena memanfaatkan barang-barang bekas sebagai alatpertanian berteknologi. Metode pengabdian meliputi observasi, perencanaan, sosialisasi (ceramah, demonstrasi, pelatihan), monitoring dan evaluasi. Dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan, respon petani terhadap pelatihan sangat antusias dan positif. Dari angket respon yang diberikan kepada petani, presentase hasil rata-rata secara keseluruhan berkategori baik dan sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, memberikan dampak ekonomi dan sosial yang nyata bagi masyarakat sehingga mampu menjawab permasalahan petani terkait penerapan mekanisasi pertanian melalui penggunaan alat pertanian berteknologi sederhana yang lebih ekonomis dan efisien.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of learning media, students' mastery of concepts and scientific literacy. The research design uses the ADDIE development design. The feasibility of the media is seen based on the validation results of media experts and material experts. The results showed that the dynamic electric scribe video learning media that had been developed had the following characteristics: 1) the product validation test was obtained from the results of the media expert and material expert score of 3.67 with a proper classification. 2) the readability test was obtained from the results of the teacher response questionnaire and student responses of 3.58 with a proper classification. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that the Scribe video learning media is suitable for use as a physics learning medium.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the reduction in high school students' misconceptions on heat after applying a collaborative e-learning-based learning model. The research design is an experimental study using a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The data collection technique is quantitative, conducted through written tests (pre-test and post-test) given to both classes. The written test is accompanied by a confidence scale (0-5). If a student's answer (S) and confidence scale are high, then the student is classified as experiencing a misconception. The pre-test serves as the initial identification of student misconceptions, while the post-test serves as the final identification of student misconceptions. Then the data is represented in a bar diagram. After obtaining quantitative data, it is then analyzed descriptively. The research findings shows that the reduction in misconceptions for Class A was 12.50%, and was 13.33% for Class B. The existence of students identified as having resistant misconceptions contributes to an average percentage of misunderstanding reduction below 50%. However, implementing the collaborative e-learning-based learning model has shown to be effective in reducing misconceptions. The resistant misconceptions occurred due to the students' learning styles or the time required for students to construct concepts taking a considerable amount of time.

Abstract

Religious education is one of three subjects that must be included in the curriculum of every formal educational institution in Indonesia. This is because religious life is one dimension of life that is expected to be realized in an integrated manner. Character education is a system of instilling good character values in all those involved and as school members so that they have knowledge, awareness, and action in implementing these values. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, namely a research procedure that produces two descriptives in the form of speech or writing and behavior that can be observed from the subject itself. This type of research is descriptive, namely research that describes information data based on facts obtained in the field. The results of this research are answers to the problem formulation previously determined through observations, interviews, and documentation carried out by researchers. The following are the results of interviews conducted by researchers at Islamic Senior High School Private 10 Jombang. Character education is a system of instilling character values which is good for all those involved and as school members so that they have knowledge, awareness, and action in implementing these values. From this definition, there are three important thoughts, namely: a). Value Transformation Process b). Developed in the mind c). Become one in behavior.
