Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan miskonsepsi mahasiswa pada pembelajaran fisika teknik. Miskonsepsi adalah pemahaman yang salah dan beralih arti dari konsep yang sebenarnya. Analisis miskonsepsi dilakukan dengan cara tes diagnostik berbentuk pilihan ganda berbantuan CRI (Certainty of Response Index). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Program Studi Sarjana Terapan Teknologi Rekayasa Otomotif Jurusan Teknik Mesin Politeknik Negeri Malang Kampus Lumajang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes multiple choice berbantuan CRI dan lembar aktivitas pembelajaran berbasis kasus. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa pada materi kinematika gerak terdapat beberapa mahasiswa yang mengalami salah konsep. Rata-rata miskonsepsi pada materi gerak vertikal sebesar 29% dan miskonsepsi pada materi gerak melingkar sebesar 31%. Beberapa faktor penyebab miskonsepsi mahasiswa adalah kemampuan akademik mahasiswa yang masih rendah, minat belajar yang kurang, dan cara belajar mahasiswa yang tidak tepat. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of STEMQ-based e-modules in improving students' science literacy at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Kalijaring, Jombang. The method used is a pre-experiment with a pretest-posttest design on a single group, involving eleventh-grade students as the sample. Data was collected through a science literacy test that measured students' understanding of optical material before and after using the STEMQ-based e-module. The results showed that the use of the STEMQ-based e-module can improve students' science literacy, particularly in understanding scientific concepts related to optical material. Additionally, the integration of Qur'anic values into the e-module had a positive impact on strengthening students' religious character, supporting holistic learning. The study also found that while most students showed improvement, there was variation in the results, indicating the need for more attention to students with lower science literacy abilities. Overall, the STEMQ-based e-module was proven effective in improving science literacy in the pesantren environment and can serve as a relevant learning medium for 21st-century educational needs. This study contributes to the development of STEM-based learning that integrates religious values in pesantren education.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of Wordwall as an interactive learning medium to enhance students’ conceptual understanding in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK NU Al-Hidayah Ngimbang. The research employs a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach, involving 30 eleventh-grade students. Data collection was conducted through pretest and posttest assessments to measure changes in conceptual understanding. Before using Wordwall, the average pretest score was 56.7, indicating low conceptual understanding. Following the integration of Wordwall, the average posttest score significantly increased to 86.7, with an average N-Gain of 0.66, categorized as medium. The interactive and gamified nature of Wordwall is attributed to this improvement, as it fosters student engagement and provides immediate feedback, supporting active learning. The findings highlight the potential of Wordwall to enhance learning outcomes in PAI by addressing students' diverse learning needs and improving motivation and comprehension. This study provides practical implications for educators seeking to implement innovative, technology-based learning solutions in vocational schools to improve conceptual understanding and align with the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the level of digital literacy among students in Islamic Senior High School (MA) in Tembelang District, Jombang Regency, using the UNESCO Digital Literacy Global Framework (DLGF). The method employed is quantitative research with a cross-sectional survey design. The research sample consists of 40 students selected purposively. The analysis results indicate that overall, the students' digital literacy competencies fall into the good category, with an average of 69.75%. However, there is variation in competencies across the seven DLGF competency frameworks, with some aspects, such as the ability to assess information credibility and collaboration, requiring further attention. Recommended interventions include practical training and workshops to enhance students' digital competencies. This research is expected to provide a foundation for developing more effective interventions to improve digital literacy among Islamic Senior High School students.

Abstract

Usaha pembuatan tahu memiliki peran yang besar dalam usaha pemerataan kesempatan kerja, kesempatan usaha dan peningkatan pendapatan. Prospek pemasaran tahu cukup baik sehingga harus didukung oleh produksi tahu yang terus berkembang. Di Rejosopinggir ada sebagian masyarakat yang menjual tahu guna memenuhi kebutuhan setiap harinya. Penjualan tahu secara langsung memiliki harga jual yang rendah. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya inovasi dalam pengolahan tahu. Faktor penting lainnya yang dapat meningkatkan penjualan produk adalah pengemasan dan merek. Pengemasan (packaging) merupakan salah satu unsur dalam strategi produk yang dipandang memiliki posisi strategis bagi keberhasilan pemasaran.  Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui inovasi pengolahan tahu merupakan suatu pemberdayaan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dalam masyarakat. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dapat di tarik kesimpulan pengelolahan dari tahu dapat membuka lapangan kerja baru. Produksi tahu susu dapat lebih stabil dengan tidak bermasalah pada mesin sekaligus menyelesaikan persoalan sosial yang ditimbulkan dari proses produksi UMKM  tahu susu  di daerah  Desa Rejoso Pinggir. Program kemitraan masyarakat merupakan progam yang tepat bagi pemberdayaaan ekonomi masyarakat usaha mikro kecil dan menengah dengan memberikan fasilitas, pelatiahan pengeloahan produk untuk meningkatkan dan memantapkan program tersebut,sehingga masyarakat yang telah dibina menjadi lebih mantap dalam menjalankan usaha kecil untuk meningkatkan  dan sejahtera.

Abstract

TPQ is an informal institution that parents rely on in educating children to learn the Qur'an from an early age. One of the things that is often underestimated in the management of TPQ is the learning process carried out without paying attention to aspects that can affect the character of children's interest and attractiveness to learn and love the Qur'an. Learning that takes place in TPQ seems to use methods, strategies, and learning media that are 'as is' and lack innovation. This problem occurs at TPQ Nurul Ilmiyah. The solution offered is through the innovation of al-Qur'an learning media in the form of Tilawati backsheet props. The implementation of the activity consists of two stages, namely assistance in preparing learning media and implementing media in learning. The results obtained are santri are more enthusiastic in learning because they use interesting media so that it is expected to increase interest and motivation in learning the Qur'an.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengaktifkan kembali serta mengembangkan Website Sistem Informasi Desa (SID) guna menunjang pelayanan publik di Desa Pesantren, Jombang. SID sendiri merupakan sistem berbasis komputer yang dirancang untuk mengelola data, dan dapat dijalankan secara daring maupun luring oleh aparatur desa. Pemanfaatan SID diharapkan dapat mempercepat proses dokumentasi data, distribusi informasi, serta pelayanan kepada masyarakat secara lebih efisien dan akurat. Melalui website ini, data desa dapat disajikan secara lebih sistematis dan informatif, mencakup antara lain kinerja perangkat desa dan potensi wilayah desa. Program pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama: perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan website mendapat respon positif dari perangkat desa karena dinilai mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan data kependudukan serta pelayanan kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Basic ecology is the basic science that studies the interrelationships between living things and their environment. One of the content in this course is terrestrial ecosystems. The aim of learning this subject is students can carry out experiments (practicum) both in the laboratory or in the UNWAHA environment. This research aims to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students by applying guide discovery learning in making miniature ecosystems. This research uses a pra experiment design. This research uses a one-group pretest-posttest design research design that is doing a pre-test before implementation and a post-test after implementation. To know the increase of student's cognitive learning outcomes through guide discovery learning, used N-gain test and paired sample t-test. The research instruments used are observation sheets and tests (pre-test and post-test). The results showed that the cognitive learning outcomes of students increased with an average grade of 64 to 84. N-Gain results show that two students of low category, 16 students of moderate category, and three students of high category students. Based on the results of the t-test obtained Sig < 0.05 is 0.00. Then it can be stated that there is a significant difference between the value of pre-test and post-test. In other words, there was an increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of discovery learning guide learning. Based on the average class and t-test results, concluded that guided discovery learning can increase student's cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Scientific reasoning is a fundamental skill that must be developed in higher education, particularly in science-related disciplines. However, existing learning resources often lack an explicit focus on data interpretation and evidence-based analysis, both essential for scientific reasoning. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a data literacy-based e-module designed to enhance undergraduate students’ scientific reasoning skills. Employing a design and development approach based on the ADDIE model, the research included analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The e-module was developed by aligning curriculum needs, scientific reasoning indicators, and core data literacy principles. Content and construct validity were assessed through expert reviews, yielding high validity scores (above 3.7) and strong reliability (α = 0.83-0.94). Small-scale trials with undergraduate science education students demonstrated high levels of learning activity (72%-94%) and consistent student engagement throughout the learning phases. Students' scientific reasoning improved significantly, with N-Gain scores ranging from 0.49 to 0.74, categorized as moderate to high, particularly in indicators such as proportional thinking. Statistical tests indicated no significant differences between class groups, suggesting consistent effectiveness across cohorts. Student feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with agreement levels reaching 100% on most evaluation indicators. This research contributes to the advancement of pedagogical design by integrating data literacy into the scientific reasoning process, offering a replicable learning resources that can be adapted across science disciplines to better prepare students for data-driven scientific inquiry in the digital era.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of utilizing the PhET virtual laboratory on the development of science process skills among students. Conducted with a repeated treatment design (one group pretest-posttest design), the research involved 30 eleventh-grade science students from MA Bahrul Ulum Jombang. Throughout the study, students engaged with mechanical wave topics using the PhET virtual simulations. Their science process skills were meticulously evaluated through various scientific approaches including problem formulation, hypothesis development, identification of variables, data interpretation, and the ability to draw logical conclusions. The results revealed a marked improvement in these skills following the intervention with the virtual laboratory. Specifically, students demonstrated enhanced abilities in forming coherent hypotheses, accurately identifying relevant variables, and effectively interpreting complex data sets. Moreover, their skills in synthesizing information to formulate valid conclusions were significantly bolstered. The use of the PhET virtual laboratory not only fostered a deeper understanding of mechanical wave concepts but also facilitated a more interactive and engaging learning environment. These findings advocate for the broader integration of such technological tools in science education, emphasizing their role in enriching students' learning experiences and advancing their analytical and scientific thinking skills.
