Abstract

Religious education is one of three subjects that must be included in the curriculum of every formal educational institution in Indonesia. This is because religious life is one dimension of life that is expected to be realized in an integrated manner. Character education is a system of instilling good character values in all those involved and as school members so that they have knowledge, awareness, and action in implementing these values. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, namely a research procedure that produces two descriptives in the form of speech or writing and behavior that can be observed from the subject itself. This type of research is descriptive, namely research that describes information data based on facts obtained in the field. The results of this research are answers to the problem formulation previously determined through observations, interviews, and documentation carried out by researchers. The following are the results of interviews conducted by researchers at Islamic Senior High School Private 10 Jombang. Character education is a system of instilling character values which is good for all those involved and as school members so that they have knowledge, awareness, and action in implementing these values. From this definition, there are three important thoughts, namely: a). Value Transformation Process b). Developed in the mind c). Become one in behavior.

Abstract

TPQ is an informal institution that parents rely on in educating children to learn the Qur'an from an early age. One of the things that is often underestimated in the management of TPQ is the learning process carried out without paying attention to aspects that can affect the character of children's interest and attractiveness to learn and love the Qur'an. Learning that takes place in TPQ seems to use methods, strategies, and learning media that are 'as is' and lack innovation. This problem occurs at TPQ Nurul Ilmiyah. The solution offered is through the innovation of al-Qur'an learning media in the form of Tilawati backsheet props. The implementation of the activity consists of two stages, namely assistance in preparing learning media and implementing media in learning. The results obtained are santri are more enthusiastic in learning because they use interesting media so that it is expected to increase interest and motivation in learning the Qur'an.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant transformations in various aspects of life, including education. This study aims to develop and validate interactive learning media based on the Canva application for the topic of Dynamic Electricity. Physics learning in secondary schools is still hampered by the dominance of conventional methods and the use of static, non-interactive media, resulting in low student engagement and weak conceptual understanding, especially in dynamic electricity materials. The media is designed to visualize abstract concepts such as current, voltage, resistance, and Ohm's Law to make them easier for students to understand. This research is a research and development study referring to the development model proposed by Borg and Gall. Validation was carried out by material experts, media experts, and linguists. The validation results indicate that the media is considered very valid and feasible for use, with eligibility criteria including content, accuracy, design, and language use. Thus, this media has the potential to increase student motivation and understanding. However, this research is still limited to the validation stage; therefore, further classroom trials are needed to measure its effectiveness.
