Abstract

Learning supplements are additions or supplements used in the learning process, with the aim of supplementing existing material. One learning supplement that can be given to help the learning process is e-learning. schoology is one website that combines e-learning and social networking. The concept of schoology is almost the same as other types of e-learning, but schoology does not require a long time to upload and access to management of schoology is not difficult making it difficult for its users. This type of research is research and development (R & D) research with using the 4D Model. The object of this research is the schoology based e-learningas a learning suplement. The learning media is  The Movement Material System for the XI MIPA grade students of the SMAN 2 Pariaman. The subject of this research were 2 lectures Biology Department FMIPA UNP and 1 teacher of SMAN 2Pariaman as the validity of using this e-learning. The result of validation show an average value of 80.52 with a valid category. This shows of schoology based e-learning as a learning suplement  is valid both in terms of the feasibility aspects of content, language, presentation, and graphic aspects.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum encourages learners to have high-level high-level thinking skills high order thinking skills (HOTS). This requires teaching materials that are in line with the demands of the 2013 Curriculum such as Student Worksheets (LKPD). To develop LKPD in accordance with the demands of the 2013 Curriculum, it is necessary to analyze the needs of students about the LKPD. The purpose of this study was to see the needs of students' analysis of HOTS-based LKPD to hone higher order thinking skills so that students could think critically and creatively. This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The sampling technique was observation, interviews and questionnaires to students of SMPN 3 and SMPN 23 Padang. The results showed that the teaching materials available at SMPN 3 Padang and SMPN 23 Padang already used the 2013 Curriculum, but the LKPD used was only made by the Subject Teacher Conference. The LKPD made by the MGMP does not require students to analyze, evaluate and create which are indicators of HOTS. From the analysis of the curriculum, the two schools have implemented the 2013 curriculum, but in its implementate it has not emphasized a student-centered learning process. Based on the interview with the teacher, it was found that the problem in the learning process was that students were not used to higher-order thinking and there was no teaching material that specifically required students to improve higher-order thinking. Thus, the development of HOTS-based LKPD is very much needed.

Abstract

The learning process is an interaction between teachers and students in transferring and interpreting experiences and knowledge they have in a new format. The process of transfer and interpretation of biology learning runs optimally supported by learning supplements. Learning media consists of LKS (student worksheet) and printed books based on Curriculum 2013 are available schools, but learning suplements are still rarely used in schools. This research is a development research that uses the Plomp model which consists of initial investigation phase (preliminary research), development of protitpe phase (development or prototyping phase), and assessment phase. Data are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. In the booklet development phase validated by 3 evaluators. In assesment booklets phase a practical test was conducted by 1 teacher and 30 students of the XII Adabiah Padang class. From the results of expert review (validation), the validity value of 93.13% was obtained with very valid criteria. The results of the practicality test by the teacher show that the booklet has a value of 93.06% practicality and 93.80% by students with very practical criteria. The booklet developed has very valid criteria and is very practical.

Abstract

The Problem of the research at SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung was that the Biology learning process is less varied and teacher-centered, students were unable to solve problems in learning, low learning competencies of students from aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills, and low science literacy abilities of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying thinking aloud pair problem solving learning model with science literacy on students learning competencies in human reproductive system material at SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung. This type of research is an experiment with a randomized control group post-only only design. The population was all class XI of SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung which were registered in the 2018/2019.Sampling was done using cluster random sampling, and the chosen sample was the XI MIPA 2 class as the experimental class, and the XI MIPA 1 class as the control class. The instruments used were in the form of posttest questions for knowledge competency, observation sheets for attitude and skill competencies. Based on the results of the knowledge competency research, the tcount was 5.14> ttable 1.67, the competency attitude was tcount of 15.12> ttable 1.67, and in the competency of skills tcount was 9.45> t table 1.67. This is an aceppted hypothesis. It was concluded that the model thinking aloud pair problems solving with sains literacy improve the competencies of knewledge, attitude, and skills in the material of the human reproductive system at SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung.

Abstract

Technological progress is very rapid nowadays requires creative and innovative teachers to use technology to design Biology learning. The teacher is expected to be able to use multimedia in learning. Besides powerpoint, other applications such as Aurora 3D Presentation. Aurora 3D Presentation is a very interesting presentation. Most teachers don't know how to use this application, so teachers and students need a manual. The purpose of this study is to create the Aurora 3D Presentation application as a learning medium for high school students. This research is research and development (R & D) research that uses the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) method. This research is 2 Biology Department lectures from FMIPA UNP and 1 Biology High School teacher. The results of this study have a valid category with 89%. This Prezi application has valid values in the aspects of content, language, presentation and graphic aspects. This means the Aurora 3D Presentation application makes it easy for middle school students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Intelligence is an ability, with its completeness process, which is capable of handling various problems. Each student has a tendency for intelligence from nine intelligences, namely Linguistic, Mathematical-Logical, Visual-Spatial, Intrapersonal, Naturalist, and Existential. This intelligence is called Multiple Intelligence. This research is a descriptive study, using a correlational study approach between multiple intelligences and student learning outcomes. To find out the relationship between variables, a correlation test was used using the Spearman-Rank correlation. The data obtained were analyzed by normality test. The results obtained in the form of population data are normally distributed. Furthermore, the data analyzed using correlation analysis with the results in the form of correlation variables that have no effect. Based on the results of the study in general it can be concluded that the intelligence of multiple intelligence has a significantly different relationship to learning outcomes. Although with a significantly different level of correlation, but multiple intelligence still has a relationship with learning outcomes, the point is that if the correlation coefficient increases, the learning outcomes of students will be more dominant. The coefficient of determination is 24.85% and 7.99% shows that learning outcomes in science subjects in class VIII 4 and class VIII 5 are influenced by multiple intelligences. Keywords: multiple intelligence, cognitive learning outcomes
