Abstract

Agrotourism is a type of tourism that utilizes agricultural businesses as a tourist attraction. The aim is to broaden the recreational experience, knowledge, and support the improvement of agricultural products and to grow businesses in the agricultural sector. The development of agro-tourism in the coffee plantation area of Punggur Kecil Village was initiated as an effort to develop tourism that can support the preservation of the robusta coffee plant which has the potential to increase income and support welfare for the local community. The location of this research is in Punggur Kecil Village, Sungai Kakap District. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis is using financial analysis with indicators: Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Net Benefit Cost Ratio, Payback Period, Sensitivity Analysis. The results of this study indicate that: coffee plantation agrotourism is feasible by considering NPV = Rp. 303,591,645, IRR = 17%, Net B/C = 1.85, and payback period of 6.67 years. Sensitivity analysis with a 10% decrease in the number of visitors shows that this business is still feasible, while the sensitivity to changes in operational costs shows that this agro-tourism business is not feasible to run.

Abstract

Aktifitas pertanian menghadapi berbagai sumber-sumber yang dapat menimbulkan risiko kerugian. Kondisi tersebut membutuhkan pengelolaan risiko yang baik agar petani dapar terhindar atau mengurangi risiko yang mungkin dapat terjadi. Kegiatan ini memiliki tujuan agar keterampilan petani dalam mengidentifikasi sumber risiko dapat ditingkatkan dan menganalisis upaya pengelolaan risiko yang sesuai dalam menghadapi risiko usahataninya serta merumuskan kegiatan yang dapat mengurangi dampak risiko. Pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Adapun tahapan pengelolaan risiko usahatani meliputi identifikasi sumber risiko, pengukuran risiko dan pengendalian risiko. Dari tahapan pengelolaan risiko petani dapat merumuskan keputusan manajemen dalam upaya memitigasi risiko usahatani meliputi strategi mitigasi dari risiko produksi, risiko harga, risiko keuangan, risiko manusia dan risiko kelembagaan. Perlu adanya dukungan dari pihak pemerintah maupun pihak akademisi untuk melakukan pendampingan dan pembinaan terhadap kelompok masyarakat tani sebagai upaya memitigasi risiko usahatani dengan cara salah satunya menerapkan Biosaka pada lahan pertaniannya.

Abstract

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVESOil palm has an average productive life of about 25 years, after which yields decline. Replanting is therefore essential to sustain long-term productivity. This study examines the readiness of independent oil palm farmers and identifies the main factors that influence their preparedness to undertake replanting in Laman Bukit Village, Belimbing District, Melawi Regency, Indonesia. METHODSThe research was conducted in Laman Bukit Village, an area with the largest oil palm plantation coverage in the regency. A total of 100 respondents were selected from 351 farming households using simple random sampling. Data were gathered using structured Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling(PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. FINDINGSThe results show that independent farmers were generally classified as prepared to implement replanting. Personal factors, ownership of other plantations, and financial conditions had a significant positive effect on readiness. In contrast, institutional f actors did not show a significant statistical effect, indicating that existing institutions have not yet functioned effectively to directly support farmers’ readiness. This indicates that strengthening local institutional capacity remains necessary. CONCLUSIONFarmers’ readiness for replanting is strongly supported by personal experience, access to alternative productive assets, and financial preparedness. Strengthening these aspects is crucial to ensure the sustainability of oil palm replanting programs.

Abstract

Karet rakyat adalah perkebunan karet yang dikelola oleh masyarakat dengan sistem tradisional dan dalam skala yang kecil. Perkebunan karet rakyat banyak dikembangkan di berbagai wilayah pedesaan Indonesia dan menjadi sumber penghasilan utama bagi petani. Pemasaran karet rakyat masih menghadapi berbagai masalah, seperti harga yang cenderung rendah dan saluran pemasaran yang terlalu panjang. Saluran pemasaran yang panjang mengakibatkan rendahnya keuntungan yang diperoleh oleh petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis determinan keputusan petani dalam memilih saluran pemasaran karet di Kecamatan Dedai, Kabupaten Sintang. Analisis data menggunakan regresi logistik multinomial. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa faktor yang berpeluang dalam mempengaruhi keputusan petani dalam memilih saluran pemasaran karet di Kecamatan Dedai, Kabupaten Sintang adalah umur, pendidikan, pengalaman usahatani, jumlah produksi, harga jual dan sarana prasarana.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi kelapa sawit mandiri di Desa Sungai Mawang Kecamatan Kapuas Kabupaten Sanggau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Sungai Mawang Kecamatan Kapuas Kabupaten Sanggau. Lokasi penelitian ini diambil dikarenakan sebagian besar perkebunan di Desa Sungai Mawang dikelola secara mandiri oleh petani. Waktu yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 74,80% produksi kelapa sawit mandiri di Desa Sungai Mawang dipengaruhi variabel bebas yang terdiri dari luas lahan, jumlah tanaman, umur tanaman, pupuk NPK, pupuk Urea, pestisida dan tenaga kerja. Secara simultan variabel bebas yang terdiri dari luas lahan, jumlah tanaman, umur tanaman, pupuk NPK, pupuk Urea, pestisida dan tenaga kerja mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi kelapa sawit di Desa Sungai Mawang. Secara parsial luas lahan, jumlah tanaman, umur tanaman, pupuk NPK dan pupuk Urea berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi kelapa sawit di Desa Sungai Mawang.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pencatatan keuangan bagi para petani umumnya didasarkan pada pemahaman intuitif untuk menekan pembiayaan input produksi, serta minimnya literasi keuangan dapat menyebabkan pengambilan keputusan keuangan yang tidak menguntungkan bagi petani. Adanya pencatatan usahatani yang teratur & terstruktur yang didukung literasi keuangan akan membantu petani dalam dalam mengendalikan dan pengambilan keputusan usaha taninya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini agar petani kopi memahami pentingnya pencatatan usahatani dan literasi keuangan dengan melatih mereka untuk melakukan pencatatan hasil usahatani serta memberikan simulasi literasi keuangan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan sasaran para petani kopi sebanyak 25 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan metode penyuluhan (ceramah), praktek dan simulasi. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test kepada petani kopi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa respon petani sangat baik, yang ditunjukkan dengan pemahaman dan kemampuan petani terhadap pencatatan dan literasi keuangan setelah pelatihan, meningkat menjadi 76%.Abstract: Financial recording for farmers is generally based on intuitive understanding to reduce production input costs, and the lack of financial literacy can lead to unfavourable financial decision making for farmers. The existence of regular & structured farm records supported by financial literacy will help farmers in controlling and making farming decisions. The purpose of this service activity is for coffee farmers to understand the importance of farm records and financial literacy by training them to record farm results and provide financial literacy simulations. This activity was carried out with the target of 25 coffee farmers. The method of implementing the activity was the counselling method (lecture), practice and simulation. Evaluation of the activity was carried out by giving pre-test and post-test to coffee farmers. The results of the activity showed that the farmers' response was very good, which was indicated by the farmers' understanding and ability to record and financial literacy after the training, which increased to 76%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Minimnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam penggunaan teknologi digital dan pemasaran online dapat menghambat petani dalam memasarkan produk pertanian secara efektif. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan anggota Gapoktan JUT dan Sepakat dalam menggunakan digital marketing melalui platform seperti TikTok shop dan Facebook marketplace. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Mitra kegiatan adalah Gapoktan JUT di Desa Sungai Duri II dan Gapoktan Sepakat di Desa Semudun, dengan kehadiran peserta sebanyak 48 orang. Evaluasi dengan menggunakan angket menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang digital marketing sebesar 30%, dengan 82% peserta merasakan kemudahan dalam mempraktikkannya. Meskipun 18% peserta masih mengalami kesulitan, namun pemahaman yang lebih baik diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pemasaran dan potensi penjualan produk pertanian di masa depan.Abstract: The lack of adequate knowledge and skills in using digital technology and online marketing can hinder farmers from effectively marketing agricultural products. This activity aims to enhance the understanding and skills of Gapoktan JUT and Sepakat members in utilizing digital marketing through platforms like TikTok Shop and Facebook Marketplace. The methods used include socialization, education, and hands-on practice with participants. The partners involved were farmer group JUT in Desa Sungai Duri II and farmer group Sepakat in Desa Semudun, with participant attendance 48 people. The evaluation with questionnaire showed a 30% increase in knowledge about digital marketing, with 82% of participants finding it easy to practice. Although 18% of participants still faced difficulties, the improved understanding is expected to enhance marketing effectiveness and the potential sales of agricultural products in the future.

Abstract

Mempawah Regency possesses Superior Local Rice that serves as a prima donna. However, the threat of competition from imported rice competitors poses a challenge to the development of superior local rice. This research aims to analyze the relationship of product attributes to the purchasing decisions for Mempawah Regency's superior local rice. A descriptive qualitative approach is employed to explain the research findings, with 200 respondents analyzed using Spearman rank correlation. The research results indicate that all attribute variables of Mempawah Regency's superior rice are significantly correlated with purchasing decisions. The variables of Taste, Appeal, and Cleanliness attributes of the superior local rice exhibit a "Strong" category relationship strength. The attributes of Aroma, Color, Packaging Safety, and Packaging Attractiveness have a "Medium" category relationship strength, while the Texture attribute has a "Weak" category relationship strength. These findings affirm that the purchasing decision for Bestari rice is the result of a complex combination between core product quality and product appearance factors.

Abstract

Indonesia has abundant potential and resources but has not been developed optimally, one of which is the tourism sector. In efforts to increase tourism potential, agritourism development has become one of the popular strategies, however, there are still few agritourism locations in West Kalimantan that have not developed even though they have great potential to increase tourist visits. Tourists visit a tourist spot motivated by motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the push factors and pull factors that influence the motivation of tourists to visit BuyFresh ByFarm agritourism. The results showed that the push factors and pull factors that influence the motivation of tourists to visit BuyFresh ByFarm agrotourism are only influenced by push factors, namely the escape variable, and the rest is influenced by other factors outside the factors studied in this study.

Abstract

The skincare sector has many prospects due to the growing public awareness of skin health. Indonesia's cosmetics industry grew by 20.6% between 2021 and 2022, according to data from the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM). The XYZ skincare products, which originated in Pontianak City, West Kalimantan, and are derived from aloe vera, are among the most well-liked items from this trend. This study examined how the marketing mix impacted Pontianak City's purchases of O-degree products. Pontianak City was chosen for this study because it is a hub for aloe vera farming and is renowned for generating high-quality goods. The study's sample size was 100 customers aged 17 and older who had bought skincare products containing aloe vera at least twice in the previous six months. The factors influencing purchase decisions are assessed using the data analysis technique known as structural equation modeling (SEM). Product, pricing, location, and advertising were the characteristics that were being examined. The survey's results showed that most participants were female, between the ages of 21 and 25, working for a private company, college-educated, and making between Rp1,500,001 and Rp3,000,000. The product variable influenced consumers' buying decisions the most of the four factors analyzed. This is due to the distinctive worth and uniqueness of XYZ items, which are native Pontianak commodities. To improve buying decisions, entrepreneurs must focus more on improving product quality and maintaining the features that are the product's main draws. By enhancing product quality and giving local Pontianak products more prominence, XYZ is expected to be able to compete more successfully in the fiercely competitive skincare market.
