Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify and explain the patterns of parental and peer support in shaping anti-bullying behaviour among students at SMPK Citra Bangsa Mandiri Kupang.  Bullying is a persistent and repetitive form of aggressive behaviour characterised by an unequal power dynamic between the offender and the victim, with the intention of causing harm and exerting pressure on the victims. This study employs descriptive methodologies with a qualitative approach, utilising interview techniques. This buy is mostly aimed for the eighth grade children. The study involved a total of four participants, comprising two parents and two students. Interviews are systematically done to examine the influence of school programmes on the development of anti-bullying behaviour through observation.  The study findings indicate the existence of three distinct forms of parental support in shaping children' anti-bullying behaviour. The concept of Conscious Parenting is the deliberate and mindful approach of raising children, with a strong emphasis on attentive care and effective communication. Authoritative Parenting, the second style, is distinguished by parents who make fair requests and have high levels of responsiveness towards their children. Parents who have been given official permission not only have elevated standards for their children, but also provide them with the necessary resources and assistance to achieve success.

Abstract

This article attempts to discover the role of the father in the family. Today's job demands make fathers rarely at home and involved in education. There are even children who live without a biological father. This paper describes the importance of the role of fathers in the family. The investigation uses a phenomenological approach. This approach seeks to see phenomena in the field. Research shows that the father is an essential figure in the family. Not only as a breadwinner. Fathers have a responsibility that is to have a positive impact on children's behaviour. Moreover, a father understands his role in educating children.

Abstract

The author examines the development of students in the digital age.  This study departs from the writer's anxiety about the condition of students in the digital age.  The students have not been able to use technology maximally. So that teachers are required to act professionally to assist students to develop themselves in the mastery of information technology. On account of these problems, the authors explore the role of teachers in the development of students in the digital age.  The method used is descriptive qualitative.  In this study, the theory used in research is not forced to obtain a complete picture of a matter according to human views. Based on the study conducted by the author in this paper, the ability to manage learners, teachers are responsible for students in the design and implementation of learning outcomes. Development of students, with a number of roles and responsibilities undertaken by the teacher. So the teacher must be proficient, clever, careful, and smart in carrying out work as a teacher.  Teachers are required to be able to actualize pedagogical competencies and able to implement holistic education.Penulis mengkaji tentang pengembangan peserta didik di era digital. Penelitian ini berangkat dari keresahan penulis terhadap keadaan peserta didik di era digital.Para peserta didik belum mampu menggunakan teknologi secara maksimal. Sehingga guru dituntut untuk bertindak profesional untuk mendampingi nara didik untuk mengembangkan diri dalam penguasaan teknologi informasi. Dengan problematika tersebut maka, penulis mengupas tentang peran guru dalam pengembangan peserta didik di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini, teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian tidak dipaksakan untuk memperoleh gambaran seutuhnya mengenai suatu hal menurut pandangan manusia. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan oleh penulis dalam tulisan ini, kemampuan pengelolaan peserta didik, guru bertanggungjawabterhadap peserta didik dalam perancangan dan pelaksanaan hasil belajar.Pengembangan peserta didik, dengan sejumlah peran dan tanggung jawab yang dilakukan guru. Jadi guru wajib mahir, pandai, cermat, dan cerdas dalam menjalankan pekerjaan sebagai guru. Guru dituntut mampu mengaktualisasikan kompetensi pedagogik. Serta mampu mengimplementasikan pendidikan yang holistik.

Abstract: In the middle of a pluralistic society, the Indonesian Church exists and develops. The civilization is made up of several tribes, faiths, ethnicities, and nations. Diversity is frequently a source of conflict in the lives of Indonesians. Hate speech in the name of religion, ethnicity, or creed, as well as other acts of intolerance, have become serious issues that must be addressed at this time. Indonesia, which prides itself on its variety, confronts a significant task in moving forward and growing as an independent nation. The teachings of Jesus in Matthew 22:39 can be taken as a call to love and respect one's fellow beings regardless of background, religion, or ethnicity. Tolerance may be defined as an open mindset, tolerance for difference, and respect for human rights. In this context, these teachings can serve as the foundation for a tolerance-based mindset in a diverse society where people from varied origins can coexist peacefully and with mutual respect. Abstrak: Gereja Indonesia tetap eksis dan berkembang di tengah Masyarakat majemuk. Peradaban tersebut terdiri dari beberapa suku, agama, etnis, dan bangsa. Keberagaman seringkali menjadi sumber konflik dalam kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia. Ujaran kebencian yang mengatasnamakan agama, suku, atau keyakinan, serta tindakan intoleransi lainnya, sudah menjadi permasalahan serius yang harus segera diatasi saat ini. Indonesia, yang bangga dengan keberagamannya, mempunyai tugas berat untuk maju dan tumbuh sebagai bangsa yang mandiri. Toleransi merupakan sikap dan cara hidup yang diperlukan dalam masyarakat majemuk. Ajaran Yesus dalam Matius 22:39 dapat diartikan sebagai panggilan untuk mencintai dan menghormati sesama manusia tanpa memandang perbedaan latar belakang, agama, atau suku. Toleransi dapat dipahami sebagai sikap terbuka, menghargai keberagaman, dan menghormati hak-hak asasi manusia. Dalam konteks ini, ajaran tersebut dapat menjadi dasar bagi sikap toleransi dalam masyarakat majemuk, di mana individu-individu dengan berbagai latar belakang dapat hidup bersama secara damai dan saling menghormati.

Abstract

Tujuan dari riset ini ialah mengevaluasi proses belajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan Model Context, Input, Process, Product pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Dalam pra penelitian di SMP Negeri 12 Kupang, peneliti menemukan guru belum mengetahui kebutuhan dasar siswa. Guru belum mengetahui latar belakang siswa serta kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran. Tipe riset ini menggunakan pendekatan context, input, process, product. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pertama, pelaksanaan proses belajar dilihat dari segi konteks tergolong baik. Kedua, perencanaan program, ditemukan tidak terdapat analisis kebutuhan. Pelaksanaan program pembelajaran ditinjau dari segi input masuk dalam kategori baik. ketiga, pelaksanaan pembelajaran masih dalam kategori kurang efektif ditinjau dari segi proses. Keempat, guru melaksanakan pendahuluan dengan baik dan benar sesuai dengan rancangan yang ada di dalam RPP. Kelima, program pembelajaran perlu dirancang terstruktur sesuai dengan alokasi waktu karena menjadi faktor penentu dalam proses pembelajaran, keluasan dan kedalam materi pelajaran.

Abstract

Some teachers face difficulties in managing classrooms, especially when dealing with students who exhibit challenging behavior or have diverse abilities. The curriculum often changes in line with government policies, and some teachers struggle to adapt quickly, causing the material taught to not always align with the demands of the latest curriculum. This study aims to examine the pedagogical competence of teachers in improving the quality of education within the framework of Merdeka Belajar at SMPN 6 Nekamese. The method used is qualitative research at SMP Negeri 6 Nekamese, Kupang Regency, with the main informants being teachers who actively implement the Merdeka Belajar concept. The "Merdeka Belajar" concept, introduced by the Indonesian government in 2020, aims to transform the educational paradigm by providing students with greater freedom in choosing their learning and emphasizing the development of skills relevant to the real world. This study shows that good pedagogical competence significantly contributes to improving education quality by creating an inclusive and responsive learning environment. Recommendations for further research include examining the development of pedagogical competence in the aspect of technological mastery. Keywords: pedagogical competence; Merdeka Belajar; education quality; technological masteryAbstrakBeberapa guru mengalami kesulitan dalam mengelola kelas, terutama ketika berhadapan dengan siswa yang menunjukkan perilaku menantang atau memiliki kemampuan yang beragam. Kurikulum sering berubah seiring kebijakan pemerintah, dan beberapa guru kesulitan menyesuaikan diri dengan cepat, sehingga materi yang diajarkan tidak selalu selaras dengan tuntutan kurikulum terbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dalam kerangka Merdeka Belajar di SMPN 6 Nekamese. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif di SMP Negeri 6 Nekamese, Kabupaten Kupang, dengan informan utama para guru yang aktif menerapkan konsep Merdeka Belajar. Konsep "Merdeka Belajar," yang diperkenalkan pemerintah Indonesia pada tahun 2020, bertujuan untuk mengubah paradigma pendidikan dengan memberikan kebebasan lebih kepada siswa dalam memilih pembelajaran, serta menekankan pengembangan keterampilan yang relevan dengan dunia nyata. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik yang baik berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan dengan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan responsif. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian lanjutan adalah mengkaji pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik dalam aspek penguasaan teknologi.Kata kunci: kompetensi pedagogik; merdeka belajar; mutu pendidikan; penguasaan teknologi

Abstract

the increasingly alarming ecological crisis demands efforts to build awareness and concern for the environment, especially among the younger generation of Christians. This study aims to determine the role of Christian Religious Education teachers in shaping a generation of Christians who care about the ecological crisis. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and filling out questionnaires. The results showed that Christian Religious Education teachers have an important role in shaping a Christian generation that cares about the ecological crisis, which is realized through (a) Integration of ecological material in Christian Religious Education learning, such as the concept of creation, stewardship, and human responsibility towards nature (b) Exemplary teachers in behaving environmentally friendly and educating students to care about the environment (c) Development of environmental awareness-based activities and cleaning activities in the school environment and its surroundings. This study suggests that Christian Religious Education teachers should consistently integrate ecological issues in learning and provide examples of environmentally friendly behavior, as well as develop extracurricular programs that can foster environmental awareness in the Christian generation. The findings of this study confirm the significant contribution of Christian Religious Education teachers in developing ecological awareness in the younger generation of Christians. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to theologically analyze the mission of Christian bureaucrats in the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of North Toraja Regency. Through qualitative research methods with observation and interview techniques, it was found that the mission of the church in the government bureaucracy has not been visible, not because of the tendency of Christian bureaucrats to see the relationship between church and government in the framework of the third relationship (total separation), but there are still Christian bureaucrats who see it in the framework of the first relationship (state supremacy over the church). In addition, another influencing factor is that their understanding of mission is still traditional and inherits colonial understanding. However, in general, Christian bureaucrats understand that the relationship between church and government should be seen in terms of partnership, but it is not enough to reach the stage of understanding. Therefore, building a critical-prophetic, positive, creative, and realistic partnership between the church and the government through the mission of Christian bureaucrats is one of the church's mission strategies that needs serious attention and focus. It is important that every Christian who is hypostatized into Christ through the church wherever they are, should act in an eucharistic and sacramental way. Thus, the public sphere and the ecclesiastical sphere are intertwined.

Abstract

Christian moral education strategies for children with intellectual disabilities play an important role in the formation of solid character and spiritual values. This guide is designed to assist parents in effectively implementing the principles of Christian moral education at home. The main focus of these strategies is on developing a loving environment, a deep understanding of the child's special needs, and the use of creative and adaptive learning methods. Parents are encouraged to incorporate Bible stories, prayer, and other spiritual activities in the child's daily routine. In addition, the importance of parental example in applying Christian values is also emphasized, as children tend to learn through observation and imitation. Involving children in church communities and social activities can help them feel a sense of community and strengthen their sense of spiritual identity. An emphasis on patience, understanding, and emotional support is essential in dealing with the challenges that arise in this moral education process. The guide also includes practical tips for dealing with difficult behavior, as well as ways to motivate children to continue learning and growing in their Christian faith. With a loving and inclusive approach, it is hoped that children with intellectual disabilities can develop strong Christian morals and grow into individuals of integrity and faith. This guide aims to provide comprehensive support and guidance for parents, so that they can be effective primary educators of their children on their spiritual and moral journey.

Abstract

The aim of community service activities is related to explaining the duties and functions of teachers. Strengthening the roles and responsibilities of teachers serving children and adolescents is a crucial action in ensuring the continuity of their education and optimal development. Teachers are still hampered by a lack of tools and understanding of teaching creativity. Methods for implementing services, discussing and practicing. Interact with children to convey the goals and themes in storytelling activities. From the results of community service activities, it can be concluded that generally they are able to implement pop up books with puppet shows on stage. The teacher reveals about story development. The teacher emphasizes communication strategies that can affect children's emotions.
