Abstract

The home care program is a public health policy initiative designed to improve access to and the quality of primary health care services at the community health center level. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the home care program in terms of input, process, and output aspects at the Tobadak Public Health Center, Mamuju Tengah Regency. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that, in the input aspect, facilities, infrastructure, and program funding are relatively adequate; however, human resource capacity, particularly the number of health workers and task distribution, remains suboptimal. In the process aspect, home care services have generally been implemented in accordance with established procedures, although challenges related to scheduling and coordination among implementers persist. In terms of output, the home care program provides tangible benefits for the community by improving access to health services and increasing user satisfaction. Therefore, the implementation of the home care program is considered effective; however, strengthening human resource management and public service governance is necessary to ensure more optimal and sustainable policy implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyzei and comparei thei quality of public seirviceis provideid to thei indigeinous peioplei of Ammatoa Kajang and non-indigeinous communitieis in Kajang District, Bulukumba Reigeincy, as weill as ideintify thei factors that causei seirvicei diffeireinceis and seirvicei strateigieis that arei in accordancei with local cultural valueis. A qualitativei approach is useid to undeirstand thei pheinomeinon of seirvicei in a socio-cultural conteixt through in-deipth inteirvieiws, obseirvations, and documeintation. Data analysis is carrieid out through data reiduction, data preiseintation, and conclusion drawing using thei theiory of Agung Kurniawan (2005) as an analytical basis, which eimphasizeis acceissibility, social justicei, and eimpoweirmeint as thei main dimeinsions of public services. The results of the study show that in the accessibility dimension there is a dual service system, namely digital services for non-indigenous people and face-to-face manual services for the indigenous people of Ammatoa Kajang. Indigenous peoples' access is still limited due to geographical conditions, limited administrative literacy, and customary prohibitions on the use of technology. In the dimension of social justice, the government has shown efforts to adapt to local values, but has not been fully able to provide equal service procedures for both groups of people. In the empowerment dimension, indigenous peoples still depend on indigenous leaders as a source of social legitimacy and service decision-making. The SWOT analysis shows that the strength of public services lies in social legitimacy and harmonious cultural communication beitweiein thei goveirnmeint and customary institutions. Weiakneisseis arisei in deipeindeincei on ceirtain figureis and low administrativei undeirstanding of indigeinous communitieis. Opportunitieis arei streingtheineid through Reigional Reigulation No. 14 of 2013 and Reigional Reigulation No. 9 of 2015, whilei thei main threiat comeis from thei poteintial clash beitweiein administrativei modeirnization and the philosophy of Kamase-masea that rejects technology. The government has implemented hybrid and affirmative services, but the implementation is not optimal, so a humanistic approach is needed that places the community as partners so that public services are more empathetic, adaptive, and in harmony with local cultural values.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of gamification in Pancasila Education at the senior high school level within a resource-constrained learning environment. It aims to analyze the design and implementation of gamification, identify challenges encountered during its application, and formulate optimization strategies to enhance student engagement and participation. Using a qualitative descriptive case study approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving one Pancasila Education teacher and eight eleventh-grade students at a public senior high school in West Sinjai Regency. Data were analyzed using an interactive thematic analysis model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that gamification was implemented through structured stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation, incorporating game elements such as points, levels, challenges, badges, and leaderboards via digital platforms including Kahoot, ZepQuiz, Wordwall, and Bamboozle. The application of gamification enhanced student engagement across behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and social dimensions. However, several challenges emerged, including unstable internet connectivity, limited digital devices, uneven student digital literacy, and learner anxiety related to individual competition. To address these issues, teachers adapted instructional designs by employing group-based leaderboards, hybrid online–offline learning activities, and peer-assisted learning strategies. This study demonstrates that gamification can serve as an effective pedagogical approach in Pancasila Education when supported by adaptive instructional design and contextual sensitivity. The originality of this research lies in its evidence that gamification can be meaningfully implemented in value-based subjects within digitally limited school contexts.

Abstract

This study examines the strategic role of peer support systems and school climate management in fostering an anti-bullying culture in secondary schools in Jeneponto, Indonesia. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving teachers, principals, and students. The findings reveal that bullying is deeply rooted in patriarchal social structures and reinforced by weak school climate management. Peer support Systems function as informal yet effective emotional networks that promote empathy and Solidarity among students. However, the absence of institutionalized mechanisms limits Their sustainability. The study suggests Integrating peer-based interventions        with Inclusive school climate management to establish a participatory, equitable, and gender-responsive education system.

Abstract

Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem in educational settings that negatively affects students’ psychological and social well-being. Anti-bullying behavior is influenced by various psychological and social factors, including empathy, school climate, and peer support. This study aimed to analyze the effects of empathy, school climate, and peer support on anti-bullying behavior among public senior high school students in Jeneponto Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 109 students selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that empathy had a positive and significant effect on anti-bullying behavior (B = 0.166; t = 2.235; p = 0.028), school climate also had a positive and significant effect (B = 0.206; t = 2.349; p = 0.021), and peer support had a positive and significant effect and was identified as the most dominant predictor (B = 0.641; t = 7.571; p < 0.001). Simultaneously, empathy, school climate, and peer support significantly influenced anti-bullying behavior (F = 176.922; p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.835, indicating that these variables explained 83.5% of the variance in students’ anti-bullying behavior. These findings indicate that anti-bullying behavior is influenced by the interaction between individual psychological factors and social environmental factors. This study highlights the importance of strengthening empathy, fostering a positive school climate, and enhancing peer support in promoting anti-bullying behavior among students.

Abstract

The research discussed that global and ecological citizenship discourse became vital for all current citizenship models; apart from the relational needs between humans and the environment, nature also needed to be preserved for survival and efforts to increase civic values. However, this conceptual-theoretical debate about the development and influence of this discourse created an antinomy among the dominant theories that had a place in contemporary citizenship discourse. Qualitatively, the research contributed to exploring the development of global and ecological citizenship discourse and its influence on students’ experiences of citizenship in Indonesia. It was built on ‘theoretical eclecticism’ and focused on the respondent’s ‘cognitive response’ combined with a critical realism perspective to analyze data, which was obtained randomly in various places and students from various majors by prioritizing the main aspects: mental existence; external existence; and essence as a knowledge domain; awareness; and their experiences. Each meeting lasted between 30 to 45 minutes with 100 respondents. Descriptively, the research results indicate that the development of global and ecological citizenship discourse has not received attention and has a significant impact on the discourse of education and citizenship experience in Indonesia. The ecological dimension lacks or does not yet have a close relationship with all other dimensions in the citizen’s experience as a form of civic virtue, including knowledge, awareness, and actions, both economic, social, and political.

Abstract

Gender injustice in Indonesia is a structural social problem and is legitimized by cultural norms and legal systems that have not fully sided with equality between women and men. This research aims to analyze the problem of gender inequality that occurs systemically despite the existence of a legal framework that supports justice, as well as examine how legal and civic education can contribute to social transformation towards a more gender-just society. The focus of the study includes three things: (1) the concept of gender and forms of gender injustice which include marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, gender-based violence, and double burden; (2) gender justice in the legal system and the challenges of its enforcement in Indonesia; and (3) the role and barriers of legal and citizenship education in encouraging citizens' critical awareness of gender justice issues. This study uses a normative legal method with a descriptive-analytical approach, which focuses on legal regulations related to gender justice, protection of women's rights, and analysis of the role of legal education and citizenship in fighting for gender justice. The results of the study show that although Indonesia has ratified various national and international legal instruments that regulate gender justice, implementation on the ground is still hampered by patriarchal culture, low gender-based legal literacy, and structural bias in law enforcement institutions. On the other hand, legal and civic education has strategic potential as a means of social change, but until now it has not been optimal in integrating gender perspectives substantively in curriculum, pedagogy, and institutional practices. Therefore, education reform that is more progressive and responsive to gender issues is needed as part of efforts to build citizens who are inclusive, critical, and uphold the values of justice.
