Abstract

Abstrak Kandung kemih neurogenik adalah disfungsi kandung kemih karena kerusakan atau penyakit pada sistem saraf pusat ataupun sistem saraf perifer. Sebagian besar penyebab kandung kemih neurogenik pada anak merupakan kelainan kongenital dan sisanya merupakan kelainan didapat. Spina bifida atau mielodisplasia merupakan penyebab tersering kandung kemih neurogenik pada anak dan 90% di antaranya berupa mielomeningokel. Kandung kemih neurogenik sering ditandai dengan inkontinensia urin.Tata laksana yang cepat dan tepat dapat mencegah kerusakan ginjal. Langkah awal tata laksana kandung kemih neurogenik adalah menegakkan diagnosis dengan anamnesis dan pemeriksaan fisis yang cermat. Apabila terdapat kecurigaan kandung kemih neurogenik, perlu dilakukan pemeriksaan laboratorium dan pemeriksaan ultrasonografi. Pemeriksaan pencitraan lain seperti miksio-sistouretrografi dilakukan atas indikasi. Pemeriksaan urodinamik dilakukan untuk menilai fungsi kandung kemih yaitu fungsi pengisian dan pengosongan. Penanganan yang adekuat meliputi pengosongan kandung kemih dengan baik, penurunan tekanan intravesika, pencegahan infeksi saluran kemih, serta tata laksana inkontinensia. Terdapat beberapa modalitas tata laksana kandung kemih neurogenik seperti medikamentosa dan tindakan urologik antara lain clean intermittent catheterization (CIC), sistoplastik, atau pemasangan sfingter artifisial.Kata kunci: kandung kemih neurogenik, urodinamik, clean intermitten cathetetrization Abstract Neurogenic bladder is a dysfunction caused by damage or disease of either central nervous or peripheral nervous system. The most common causes of neurogenic bladder in children are congenital disorders while the others are acquired disorders. Spina bifida or myelodysplasia is the most common congenital cause of neurogenic bladder in children and 90% are in the form of myelomeningocele. Neurogenic bladder is often manifested by urinary incontinence. Prompt and precise management may prevent kidney damage. The initial step in managing neurogenic bladder is establishing diagnosis by careful history taking and physical examination. Once suspicion of neurogenic bladder presents, the next step is to perform laboratory examination and ultrasonography. Other imaging examinations, such as micturating cystourethrography, are performed by the indication. Urodynamic study is performed to evaluate filling and voiding function of the bladder. Adequate treatment includes bladder voiding, intravesical pressure reduction, urinary tract infection prevention, and also management of incontinence. There are several modalities of neurogenic bladder treatment such as medications and urologic interventions including clean intermittent catheterization (CIC), cystoplasty, or artificial urinary sphincter implantation. Abstract

This study presents a review on Medical Education Ethics: Modelling on Professionalism. The objective of this study was to review the ethich on medical education that focuses on competency attainment of medical education curriculum in Indonesia. It was conducted using library research where some books were read and reviewed in order to meet the purpose of this study, and the writer was the key instrument. The finding of this study is that ethics, morals, norms, values and professionalism in the field of medical are so important, that it is necessary to be integrated into the curriculum of medical education. Through the integration, it is expected to create graduates who are not only competent in their field knowledge, but also to have good behavior to be modelled in carrying out the profession of a doctor.Keywords : ethics, moral, norms, values, professionalism, curriculum, medical education, and model.

Abstract

This article is about the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on students’ critical thinking, the purpose of which is to find out how PBL and students’ critical thinking are related. The study was conducted at Educational Administration / Management Study Program of Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta. This article was developed through a library study making use of books, journals and other documents related to the topics as the source information. The result shows that the PBL improves the students’ critical thinking. PBL forms a teaching method that encourages the students to identify problems, explore interpretation, determine alternatives as solutions, communicate conclusions and integrate, monitore, as well as refine strategies to remedy the problems. It can be concluded that students will have good critical thinking, if they are taught using PBL. It is, therefore, recommended that lecturers apply this method in their teaching.

Abstract

The principal has an important role in improving the performance of his teachers. The results of preliminary observations found that principals are authoritarian by making decisions without involving teachers. Gives a bad impression to subordinates who later builds a culture that affects the teacher's performance. This type of research is quantitative using a survey method with a correlation approach, related to the purpose for"examining the influence of the principal's leadership style and organizational culture on teacher performance in junior high schools in Nias"West. Teachers of State Junior High Schools in West Nias which constitute the study population by taking a sample of certified teachers spread across 38 schools. The influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance based on the results of the study was 17.5%, the influence of organizational culture on teacher performance was 16% and the influence of the principal's leadership style and organizational culture on teacher performance was 20.6%. for other reasons.

Abstract

Ginjal merupakan organ yang berperan penting dalam mengatur tekanan darah. Hipertensi merupakan penyakit kardiovaskular degeneratif dengan insidens yang meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Sel juksta glomerular di dalam ginjal berperan penting dalam terjadinya hipertensi karena dalam juksta glomerulus dihasilkan renin. Renin berfungsi mengubah angiotensinogen menjadi angiotensinogen I, dan oleh pengaruh enzim proteolitik konvertase diubah menjadi angiotensin II yang berfungsi sebagai vasokonstriktor. Selanjutnya korteks kelenjar adrenal untuk melepaskan aldosteron yang mempengaruhi tubulus kontortus distalis untuk mereabsorbsi NaCl dan air. Kelainan pada sel juksta glomerular dapat mengakibatkan hipersekresi renin, sehingga mempengaruhi tekanan darah sistemik. Kelainan pembuluh darah yang sering menimbulkan hipertensi adalah stenosis (penyempitan) karena aterosklerosis, displasia (stenosis non aterosklerosis) dinding arteri di lapisan intima, lapisan media dan adventisia juga turut berperan. Di dalam lapisan intima terjadi fibroplasia intima, yaitu penimbunan jaringan fibrous sehingga lumen arteri menyempit. Pada lapisan media terjadi fibroplasia media, yaitu penimbunan jaringan fibrous dan atrofi otot polos, sehingga lumen arteri menyempit. Pada lapisan adventisia, terjadi penggantian dengan jaringan kolagen yang meluas ke jaringan ikat sehingga menjadi kaku dan sempit. Kelainan pada parenkim ginjal dapat berupa proliferasi sel dan jaringan parut. Jaringan parut itu akan menarik jaringan sekitarnya termasuk jaringan vaskular arteri interlobaris yang akan mengganggu vaskularisasi ginjal. Semua kelainan ini akan menimbulkan hipoksia ginjal, sehingga merangsang pelepasan renin yang berkibat terjadinya hipertensi renoparenkim dan renovaskular.

Abstract

Academic dishonesty is commonly found in students. There are a lot of factors that play role in this issue such as the perspective of peer group, advanced technology of internet, culture, lack of writing skill, and academic achievement.An effort to establish academic honesty needs involvement of university itself, staff lecturers, and students. This effort is directed to create an atmosphere where academic honesty is an important issue and main concern of the campus.Students need to be informed about academic honesty since they enter university. They needs to be given training to develop their academic writing skills. A special unit to perform this training needs to established in a university. the university also needs to utilize software to check the writing of students in order to detect plagiarism. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research ivestigates the effect of organizational culture on the lecturers’ organizational citizenship behaviour at Christian University of Indonesia. The research is aimed to know whether there is an effect of organizational culture on the lecturers’ organizational citizenship behaviour or not. The method of the research used is quantitative method with a survey design. There are 314 lecturers were chosen to be the population of this researh and from the population 109 lecturers were chosen to be the sample of this research. The data of the research was collecting through a set of questionnaire. The questionnaire was given to the all of the chosen sample. After the data was collected so it was analyzed, and after that a finding was drawn. The finding is; there is an effect of organizational culture on the lecturers’ organizational citizenship behaviour at Christian University of Indonesia. By then, in order to improve the the lecturers’ organizational citizenship behaviour, so organizational culture is an important element needs considering by the higher institution whether it is public higher institution or private higher institution. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour dosen di Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap organizationl citizenship behaviour dosen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey. Adapun populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 314 orang dosen, dan terdiri dari 109 orang. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen kuesioner. Peneliti memberikan kuesioner kepada seluruh sampel terpilih. Setelah data dianalisis maka ditemukanlah kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap organizationl citizenship behaviour dosen di Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Dengan demikian, dalam rangka perbaikan organizationl citizenship behaviour dosen maka budaya organisasi menjadi elemen yang penting diperhatikan oleh lembaga-lembaga perguruan tinggi baik negeri maupun swasta. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan sosial anak pada siswa kelas III SDN No.101 Makale 4 Kecamatan Makale Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN No.101 Makale 4. Sedangkan sampel adalah siswa kelas III berjumlah 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan sosial anak yang dibuktikan dengan perhitungan statistik menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan SPSS 23, besarnya pengaruh penggunaan gadget (X) terhadap perkembangan sosial anak (Y) sebesar 61,3% sedangkan 38,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan sosial anak pada siswa kelas III SDN No.101 Makale 4 Kecamatan Makale Kabupaten Tana Toraja dengan nilai sig 0,004 < 0,05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan guru dalam pengelolaan kelas terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 108 Rantelemo kecamatan Makale Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data hasil penelitian menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistif infersianal. Statistik deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan guru dalam peengelolaan kelas dan hasil belajar IPA, sedangkan statistik infersianal untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perhitungan statistik menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan SPSS 23, besarnya pengaruh pengelolaan kelas (X) terhadap hasil belajar IPA (Y) sebesar 13,7 % sedangkan 86,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolok dan H1 diterima yang artinya ada pengaruh antara kemampuan guru dalam pengelolaan kelas terhadap hasil belajar IPA di SDN 108 Rantelemo.

Abstract

The study was conducted to analyze the influence of Principal Transformational Leadership and Teacher Integrity on the Quality of High School Graduates in North Toraja Regency, with quantitative methods, namely conducting descriptive analysis and testing hypotheses. the method used is quantitative. The regression equation between transformational leadership and graduate quality is Y ̂= -58,233+0,878 X1. While the results of the t-test calculation, there is a positive and significant influence of the principal's transformational leadership (X1) on the quality of high school graduates in North Toraja Regency (Y). The coefficient of determination of the two variables is 0.632 or 63.2%, meaning that the influence of the principal's transformational leadership on the quality of graduates is 63.2%. The regression equation between teacher integrity and the quality of graduates is Y ̂= -1,655+0,724 X2 and according to the results of the t-test, it is found that there is a positive and significant effect of teacher integrity (X2) on the quality of high school graduates in North Toraja Regency (Y). The value of the coefficient of determination of the two variables is 0.292 or 29.2%, meaning that the influence of the teacher integrity variable on the quality of graduates is 29.2%. The multiple linear regression equation between transformational leadership, teacher integrity, and the quality of graduates is Y ̂= -61,020+0,782 X1+0,219 X2and from the results of the F test calculation there is a positive and significant influence on the transformational leadership of principals and teacher integrity together on the quality of high school graduates in North Toraja Regency. The value of the coefficient of multiple determination (R2) is 0.651 or 65.1%, which means that the influence of principal transformational leadership and teacher integrity together on the quality of high school graduates in North Toraja Regency is 65.1%.
