Abstract

Poetry appreciation, one of the literature learnings in Senior High School (SMA), is a subject that has the most important part to establish students’ intuition and introduce literature as one of Indonesia's Cultures. Poetry appreciation teaching, which is one of the literature learnings given by teachers in the 2013 Curriculum nowadays, is expected to be the bridge that connects the students’ mindset and the learning purpose. This study is a kind of Research and Development. According to the study, the researcher finds some conclusions. First, the process of developing interactive teaching materials by using ‘POST’ audiovisual media product planning takes some steps (1) data researching and collecting, and (2) product planning, (3) product developing, (4) initial trial, (5) trial result revision, (6) field trial, (7) field trial result product improvement, (8) implementation field test, (9) final product improvement, (10) dissemination and implementation to produce learning CD as teaching materials. Second, the implementation of interactive teaching materials by using ‘POST’ audiovisual media application in poetry appreciation learning which produces CD is obtained through some process: (1) learning implementation, (2) observation, (3) questionnaire. Third, the product practicality of interactive teaching materials by using ‘POST’ audiovisual media is obtained from the score of lesson plan implementation analysis result which shows 93% and the students’ response seen from observation and questionnaire. Fourth, the product effectiveness of interactive teaching materials by using ‘POST’ audiovisual media is obtained from the advance individual trial score and the students’ activity.

Abstract

Learning method, especially at fabel writing is less less variative; as a result, learning process cannot explore students’ writing skill. Therefore, the writer found that it needs to do the synectics learning method development in writing skill learning. This research purpose is to develop the synectics method development in writing learning process. This research uses research and Development (R&D) method, which is stated by Brog and Gall that it consists of ten steps of source development, which in this research, is VII grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Balikpapan. Data collection is done by doing the questionnaire, observing, interviewing and documenting. This learning method development is declared very feasible by three validators; material expert validator, media expert validator and learning pratitioner. Based on test result, the synectics model can imrpove the students’ score through the test process. The observation result of the learning activity is done by observer I and II and is declared very good.

Abstract

Indonesian subjects have different levels of difficulty so there needs to be variations in learning, so students do not get bored. To implement the objectives of the Indonesian language subject, Indonesian language learning in the 2013 curriculum is presented using a text-based approach. In addition, the use of instructional media in the learning process will reduce student dependence on teachers. The implementation of learning media aims to (1) how is the application of learning media macromedia flash in improving student learning creativity in Indonesian language lessons; (2) how is the application of macromedia flash learning media in improving student learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons; and (3) how is the effectiveness of macromedia flash learning media in increasing creativity and student learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons. The subjects of this study were students of class XII at SMK Negeri 1 Kaliorang. This type of research is included in the Classroom Action Research (CAR) whose steps are as follows (1) planning, (2) implementation; (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Retrieval of research data through observation, written tests, and questionnaires with research instruments in the form of (1) observation sheets, (2) test questions, and (3) questionnaire sheet. After conducting research Application of audio-visual learning media can improve student learning outcomes in class XII SMK Negeri 1 Kaliorang, the learning outcomes are evidenced by an increase in test results at the end of each cycle. Improved learning outcomes seen from mastery learning in the first cycle that is 53.33% and 83.33% in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the speech of kindergarten teachers Badak Mekar, Muara Badak, Kutai Kartanegara covering (1) imperative form, (2) imperative politeness. Data analysis used conversational analysis with pragmatic analysis technique. The validity of the data is obtained through observational persistence and triangulation is done during the teaching process. Data collection is done by tapping technique (participant observation), recording techniques, and collect as many as 124 imperative speeches. The results of the first study (1), the imperative form in the speech of the kindergarten of the Badak Mekar kindergarten include (a) the most commonly found structural form is the non-transitive active and passive imperative and (b) the most commonly found pragmatic form is the imperative form (command construction). (2) Secondly, the imperative courtesy of the teacher's speech includes (a) the most commonly found linguistic politeness is a gentle word, a low tone of speech, and polite kinesics gestures, and (b) the most common pragmatic pronunciation is maxima consensus and there is also a combination of two to three maxims. Pragmatic pronunciation based on the most commonly found speech constructions is declarative and interrogative construction.

Abstract

This study aims to describe characterization of the main character in the novel Derita Aminah by Nurul Fithrati, the personality of the main character in Nurul Fithrati's novel of Aminah. The type of research used in this study is descriptive (qualitative). Researchers trying to describe how the character of the main character and personality of the main character in the novel Derita Aminah. Data collection techniques used in this study is using the method of reading notes, literature and instruments. Later, the data obtained from this study is associated with Carl Gustav Jung's personality theory. The conclusions of this research are the description of the characterization of the Aminah figure of a six-year-old child who has to undergo a dark childhood. Aminah a child who works hard, never give up, has a caring, and good nature. A tough boy and always trying to sincerely live his life the personality of the personality of a cheerful personal character Aminah who always shows her feelings directly, her personality changes occur when she has a cruel stepmother and often tortures her, Aminah becomes a closed person and is less able to express her emotions. It affects the personality dynamics of the Aminah character where his feelings, thoughts and actions often experience conflict that is often contradictory. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penokohan serta kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel derita Aminah karya Nurul Fithrati ditinjau dari psikkologi sastra. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif (kualitatif). Peneliti berusaha mendeskripsikan bagaimana penokohan tokoh utama dan kepribadian tokoh utama yang ada dalam novel Derita Aminah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode baca catat, kepustakaan dan instrumen. Kemudian, data-data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dikaitkan dengan teori kepribadian Carl Gustav Jung. Hasil penelitian ini adalah gambaran penokohan tokoh Aminah seorang anak berusia enam tahun yang harus menjalani masa kecil yang kelam. Aminah seorang anak yang bekerja keras, pantang menyerah, memiliki sifat yang peduli, dan baik hati. Seorang anak yang tegar dan selalu berusaha untuk ikhlas menjalani kehidupannya; gambaran kepribadian tokoh Aminah pribadi yang ceria dan selalu menunjukkan perasaannya secara langsung, perubahan kepribadiannya terjadi ketika memiliki ibu tiri kejam dan sering menyiksanya, Aminah menjadi seorang yang tertutup dan kurang mampu mengekspresikan emosinya. Hal tersebut mempengaruhi dinamika kepribadian tokoh Aminah dimana perasaan, pikiran dan tindakannya seringkali mengalami konflik yang sering bertentangan.

Abstract

Novel Ibuk menghadirkan tokoh perempuan yang tangguh dan berjuang untuk mendapatkan kesetaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskipsikan perjuangan tokoh utama perempuan dalam novel Ibuk karya Iwan Setyawan kajian feminisme sosialis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu untuk memperoleh informasi dan gambaran perjuangan tokoh perempuan dalam novel Ibuk berdasarkan teori feminisme sosialis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diguunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik baca,simak, dan catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan, selanjutnya data disajikan dalam bentuk kutipan kalimat yang mengandung unsur feminisme sosialis berdasarkan fakta cerita pada novel melalui alur, tokoh dan penokohan serta latar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fakta cerita pada novel Ibuk karya Iwan Setyawan, terdiri atas tokoh dan penokohan, alur, dan latar. tokoh-tokoh yang berperan dalam novel ini mempunyai peranan tokoh utama dan tokoh tambahan. Latar secara umum berada di Kota Batu dan New York, dengan suasana kehidupan pedesaan dan perkotaan. Novel ini menggunakan alur maju. Perjuangan tokoh perempuan dalam menghadapi sistem kapitalis terdiri dari beban kerja dan bentuk perjuangan perempuan mendapatkan upah dan biaya untuk kehidupan serta pendidikan anak-ananya, sedangkan perjuangan perempuan menghadapi sistem patriarki dilihat dari kepemilikan pribadi yang dialami perempuan dan bentuk perjuangan agar anak-anaknya tidak hidup seperti dirinya.

Abstract

Faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap upaya pembangunan pendidikan di Indonesia antara lain tersedianya guru yang memadai, baik kuantitas maupun kualitas. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan kajian terkait pengelolaan guru negeri pada SD dan SMP di Kota Samarinda yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemecahan pokok-pokok permasalahannya. Metode penelitian ini adalah mixed methods dan evaluatif dengan unit analisis satuan pendidikan SD dan SMP Negeri yang ada di Kota Samarinda. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, FGD dan kuesioner untuk mengetahui data guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah guru PNS pada SD dan SMP Negeri di Kota Samarinda masih belum mencukupi kebutuhan dan sudah cukup banyak yang tersertifikasi, artinya dari segi kompetensi guru sudah sesuai. Hasil proyeksi menunjukkan jika sampai 2 tahun ke depan kebutuhan akan jumlah guru PNS pada SD dan SMP Negeri di Kota Samarinda meningkat. Untuk itu perlu pengangkatan guru SD dan SMP di wilayah Kota Samarinda dengan komposisi jumlah sesuai kebutuhan guru SD dan SMP, terutama guru yang masih non PNS dan pemeretaan guuru. Selain itu, memberikan peluang bagi guru yang belum bersertifikat pendidik untuk mengikuti PPG dalam jabatan dibiayai oleh pemerintah Kota Samarinda dan engadakan pemantauan kompetensi guru secara periodik.

Abstract

Perempuan saat ini masih dianggap lemah menjadi seorang pemimpin di instansi pemerintahan. Fokus perhatian penelitian ini yaitu wacana kepemimpinan perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perempuan yang tidak ingin berpendidikan tinggi dan menjadi pemimpin, kurang dipercaya menjadi pemimpin, serta mendeskripsikan pengalaman pribadi widyaiswara berjuang mencapai puncak karir dalam kepemimpinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, analisis wacana kritis model sara mills, media youtube terhadap wacana yang berjudul “Perempuan dan Kesetaraan Gender” yang live pada youtube Sumbar Rancak Bana Padang TV tanggal 26 Maret 2021. Perempuan yang menjadi subjek pencerita, tetapi representasi perempuan dalam berita masih bias. Pembawa acara sebagai subjek sedangkan objek dari tayangan tersebut adalah narasumber (widyaiswara) yang mewakili perempuan yang kurang dipercaya menjadi pemimpin seperti narasumber berperan sebagai wanita karir yang bertugas memberi pelatihan kepada aparatur untuk menghasilkan pemimpin yang cerdas dan berkarakter. Perempuan pada wacana posisinya mendefinisikan dan ia dapat menampilkan dirinya sebagai wanita karir yang berkomitmen menjalankan tugasnya meskipun seorang ibu rumah tangga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa narasumber sangat mendukung perempuan diperlakukan secara adil dalam hal kepemimpinan seperti dirinya yang sukses dalam karir dan ibu rumah tangga. Untuk itu, perempuan diberikan pelatihan untuk menghasilkan kesetaraan gender.Kata-kata kunci: perempuan, kesetaraan gender, analisis wacana kritis, pendidikan dan pelatihan

Abstract

Implementation of online learning with the application of the invention model increases perceptions between teachers and students. This study aims to determine the perceptions of teachers and students about the implementation of the invention model online in writing script learning. The research method used is a qualitative method using a case study approach. The population in this study were Indonesian language subject teachers and ten-grade students. The sample was taken using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are carried out by filling out a questionnaire through the Google form and interviews with teachers and students.

Abstract

When students are given assignments, sometimes some students do not respond. In fact, teachers have not provided creative learning innovations to students. As a result, the teacher's instructions do not do the task. The study aims to describe the use of Google Classroom applications to attract and train students' skills in writing literacy in Indonesian learning, particularly writing anecdotal texts. The method used in this study is qualitative as for obtaining the data by conducting in-depth interviews using a recording device, then collecting data through a questionnaire to get valid data from students. The subject of this study was a student of class X SMK Negeri Samarinda consisting of the high, medium, and low achievement. The results showed that students are happy to use classroom applications as a medium of learning anecdotal text because they can write creatively and want the application to remain used to share ideas. However, the use of classroom applications also requires a good internet network.
