Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengevaluasi penerapan strategi kognitif dalam penulisan karya ilmiah di kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda, dengan fokus pada keefektifan dan kepraktisannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif evaluatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan penilaian hasil karya ilmiah dari peserta didik kelas XI – 11 yang berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran menggunakan strategi kognitif (perencanaan, organisasi, revisi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keefektifan strategi kognitif dalam menulis karya ilmiah memperoleh nilai rata-rata 84,02 (kategori baik), yang mencerminkan kemampuan peserta didik menerapkan strategi dengan baik dan menghasilkan karya berkualitas. Penilaian kepraktisan strategi kognitif mencatat nilai rata-rata 85,97, menunjukkan bahwa strategi ini praktis dan mudah diikuti oleh peserta didik, menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang terstruktur. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi kognitif efektif dan praktis dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah. Diharapkan strategi ini dapat terus diterapkan dan dikembangkan untuk mengoptimalkan keterampilan menulis karya ilmiah peserta didik. Application of Cognitive Strategy in Writing Scientific Papers In Class XI of SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda Abstract: This study evaluates the application of cognitive strategies in writing scientific papers in class XI of SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda, focusing on its effectiveness and practicality. The research method used is descriptive evaluative. Data were collected through questionnaires and assessment of scientific paper results from students in class XI - 11 who actively participated in learning using cognitive strategies (planning, organization, revision). The results showed that the effectiveness of cognitive strategies in writing scientific papers obtained an average score of 84.02 (good category), which reflects the ability of students to apply strategies well and produce quality work. The assessment of the practicality of cognitive strategies recorded an average score of 85.97, indicating that this strategy is practical and easy to follow by students, producing structured scientific papers. It is concluded that the application of cognitive strategies is effective and practical in improving the ability to write scientific papers. It is hoped that this strategy can continue to be applied and developed to optimize students' scientific writing skills.

Abstract

Proses mempersiapkan sebuah pementasan, peserta didik masih terkendala dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian tim produksi dan evaluasi. Kendala tersebut dapat diatasi dengan adanya pendampingan dari guru. Pegelaran seni teater sebagai implementasi projek kepemimpinan di SMAN 1 Samarinda bertujuan mengembangkan potensi kepemimpinan, kreativitas, dan keterampilan peserta didik melalui pementasan teater. Mitra yang terlibat dalam kegiatan projek adalah para peserta didik yang mengikuti ekstrakulikuler Teater Dahana dan para panitia perpisahan SMAN 1 Samarinda. Dalam proses pendampingan kegiatan utama, yaitu pemilihan naskah, latihan, koordinasi aktor, penyusunan tata rias, kostum, musik, pencahayaan, pemasaran dan promosi pertunjukan. Kegiatan mencakup rekaman dubbing, latihan teater, dan pengambilan video. Peserta didik menerima arahan serta masukan dalam mengimprovisasi gerakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam projek adalah pembimbingan. Projek ini mengadopsi konsep Project Basedd Learning. Kegiatan ini memberikan kesempatan peserta didik mengembangkan keterampilan kepemimpinan, kerja sama, kreativitas, dan rasa tanggung jawab. Melalui pendampingan pagelaran seni teater, peserta didik belajar mengelola diri, memimpin tim, menyelesaikan masalah, serta mengembangkan rasa percaya diri dalam pementasan teater.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe, among other things: 1) the structural analysis of Robert Stanton applied to the novel Awan by Syafruddin Pernyata, 2) the instructional materials containing the structural analysis of the novel Awan by Syafruddin Pernyata, and 3) the effectiveness of the instructional materials developed from the structural analysis of the novel Awan by Syafruddin Pernyata. This study employs a reflective, recursive, design, and development (R2D2) model research method. This method is used to produce and test a product using instructional materials based on the structural analysis of the novel Awan by Syafruddin Pernyata. The results of the study show that the instructional materials based on the structural analysis of the novel Awan by Syafruddin Pernyata were validated by a content expert who gave a score of 79.25%, which falls into the "acceptable" category, and a media expert who gave a score of 96%, which falls into the "very acceptable" category. Therefore, the instructional materials developed are highly suitable for use by high school students. Furthermore, the lesson planning was assessed by an observer who gave a score of 80.14%, and another observer assessed the lesson implementation with a score of 87.16%. Based on these assessments, it can be concluded that the teaching process was conducted effectively. The effectiveness of the instructional materials based on the structural analysis of the novel Awan by Syafruddin Pernyata can be seen from the results of a small group trial, which showed a pretest score of 57 and a posttest score of 19, as well as a field trial with an average pretest score of 69.95 and a posttest score of 81.75, both falling into the "good" category. Based on these data, it is evident that the developed instructional materials have successfully contributed to improving students' learning outcomes, as seen from the comparison of pretest and posttest scores.

Abstract

A module is an educational material or learning tool that includes teaching materials, methods, and assessments that are developed in a systematic and structured manner to achieve expected competency goals. The aim of this study is to develop a valid, practical and effective mangrove module based on ethnoscience on biodiversity. The type of research is R&D which refers to the ADDIE method developed by Mayfield. Data collection techniques consist of expert verification, observations, tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study show that, this module was developed based on the manual previously used by SMA IT Darul Hikmah Bontang students to learn biology. The module validity result for the module is 99%, which is in the very valid category. The material validity result of the module was in the very reasonable category at 84.69%. The linguistic validity result of the module was 73.6% in the valid category. The results of the student survey regarding the practicality of the module were 88.65%, which fell into the very practical category. The effectiveness module in improving student’s critical thinking ability and environmental awareness have n-gain values ​​are 0.55 and 0.44. It can be concluded that the development of the ethnoscience-based mangrove module in the intermediate category has been effectively used to improve the critical thinking skills of the students of SMA IT Darul Hikmah Bontang.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Modules for science subject with the Computer-Based Test Assessment in order to train students’ critical thinking on one of science topics which is human’s respiratory system using ADDIE model. This model of research is the development research level 3. The data were collected by involving expert’s validation, observation, test, and questionnaire. The results showed that: the module validity result in terms of module itself was 93.75% with a very valid category. The validity in terms of language and material were 88.77% and 99.54% respectively, while the results by the Computer-Based Test application were 97%. The module’s practical results assessed by questionnaires were 89.41% and it means this module is highly practical to be used. The results of the module’s efficacy in terms of normality, the n-gain of all classes in pre-test and post-test’s sig value > 0.05, therefore the data was distributed normally. The results of paired sample t-test indicate that there is a noticeable difference on the average of pre-test and post-test results in the experimental group. Hence, the science module with Computer-Based Test is effective to be utilized as learning materials that can increase students’ critical thinking skills at schools.

Abstract

This development research aims to: (1) prove the feasibility and practicality of articulate storyline media in learning about food and the digestive system (2) to prove that articulate storyline media with problem based learning (PBL) model in learning about food and the digestive system is effective in improving critical and creative thinking skills (3) to prove that articulate storyline media with project based learning (PJBL) model in learning about food and the digestive system is effective in improving critical and creative thinking skills. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with ADDIE development model. The subjects in this study were biology subject teachers and students of class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2 SMAN 6 Samarinda and class XI MIPA 3 and XI MIPA 4 at SMAN 4 Samarinda. Data testing was carried out by testing the feasibility of the media, the practicality of the media, the effectiveness test using the Manova test and the N-Gain test. The results of the study obtained: (1) articulate storyline media is feasible and practical to be used in the learning process (2) articulate storyline media with problem based learning (PBL) learning model in learning about food and the digestive system is effective in improving critical thinking skills (3) articulate storyline media with project based learning (PJBL) learning model in learning about food and the digestive system is effective in improving creative thinking skills. Based on the manova test, a significance value of 0.000 (sig <0.05) was obtained, so it was concluded that there are learning models that have different abilities in terms of influencing critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills simultaneously.

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-module teaching materials that can be used by teachers and students both in school and outside school by developing one of the Plip Pdf Professional applications as an innovation media in a fun learning process. The type of research used is research and development (R&D). The sample in this study were biology teachers and students of SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda and SMA Negeri 11 Samarinda. The results of the expert validation of the teaching materials produced were very good with an average score of 3 validators of 91.33% with the category (very valid). The practicality of the teaching materials assessment from the teacher showed a result of 95.31% (very practical), while the assessment from students got a score of 89.06% (very practical). The effectiveness of the teaching materials produced was able to provide an increase in cognitive learning outcomes with a gain score index of 0.83 (high) and the percentage value of students' critical thinking skills was 88.8%. The results of the effectiveness test using the paired sample t-test showed that there was an influence of the use of e-module teaching materials based on the Plip Pdf Professional application in improving the biology learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 5 and SMA Negeri 11 Samarinda on the Human Respiratory System material.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the feasibility, practicality and impact of the implementation of interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline in the Conventional Biotechnology sub-material on the science process skills (SPS) of grade IX junior high school students. The research model used is the development of ADDIE with a quasi-experimental approach, pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of the study consisted of 71 students divided into two classes; experimental class and control class. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant increase in science process skills (SPS) using Articulate storyline-based media compared to the control class. The developed Articulate storyline-based media was feasible and practical to apply with an average score of 88.79 based on the assessment of material experts and media experts. The students' response to the media reached an average of 90.49 with a very good category. In the experimental class, it showed an increase in science process skills (SPS) with an N-gain value of 0.61 which was categorized as a moderate increase, with an average pretest value of 42.50 increasing to 77.08 in the posttest. These findings indicate that interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline is effective in improving students' science process skills (SPS) and is recommended for application to other science materials.
