Abstract

Assessment for learning (AFL) is a pedagogical approach that enhances student learning outcomes through high-quality feedback. This study investigates the effectiveness of integrating the feedback loop model (FLM) with AFL to improve students' engagement and understanding of physics, specifically in kinematics and motion dynamics. The study employs a mixed-methods research design, combining quantitative and qualitative data to assess the impact of the FLM-based AFL approach. A one-group pretest-posttest design was used, supported by research instruments that measured student engagement and their conceptual grasp of physics. The findings indicate that integrating FLM into AFL led to significant improvements, evidenced by Cohen’s effect size of 1.91, highlighting a substantial impact on student learning. These results affirm that FLM-based AFL positively affects student engagement and understanding of physics. The study contributes to the existing research on effective assessment methods, providing valuable insights for educators and policymakers in developing enhanced assessment and teaching strategies. This study emphasizes the potential benefits of incorporating FLM-based AFL in diverse educational settings to elevate student learning experiences and outcomes.

Abstract

In the industrial era 4.0, students as an important part of the education system, face various conflicts and problems that they bring to school. This implies that students need to overcome challenges that are not only limited to academic matters, but also pay attention to psychological aspects that are equally important. In such situations, social-emotional learning is the right solution. With this approach, students are not only proficient in skills, but also able to deal with psychological problems such as communication skills and emotional management. This research utilizes the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to investigate various research results and sources related to Social-Emotional Learning (PSE) activities. through language teaching. Of the 130 research journals there are 69 relevant research journals. Sixty-nine of these articles identified knowledge gaps in previous research, some of which have not touched on the school level and are still very minimal at the learning level. Therefore it is worth digging deeper.This article discusses the scope of Social-Emotional Learning (PSE).

Abstract

Improving the quality of education depends greatly on enhancing teacher performance, which remains a persistent challenge in many schools. Several studies indicate that low motivation, limited creativity in teaching, and minimal teacher participation in decision-making continue to hinder educational progress. This review examines how the transformational leadership style of principals influences teacher performance through motivation, commitment, discipline, and the development of a positive school culture. This study used a qualitative descriptive literature review to analyze eighteen peer-reviewed publications issued between 2018 and 2024. The review process included identifying, selecting, and synthesizing research related to principal leadership and teacher performance. The findings show that transformational leadership directly improves teacher motivation, job satisfaction, and commitment to the profession. It also reveals that these effects are reinforced by mediating factors such as work discipline, intrinsic motivation, and teacher commitment. Furthermore, a supportive school culture strengthens the overall impact of leadership, creating an environment that encourages collaboration, trust, and shared goals. The results suggest that transformational leadership is a key factor in promoting teacher professionalism and the overall quality of education. Principals who act as visionary leaders, motivators, and mentors can build a culture of continuous improvement within their schools. The study recommends further empirical research using longitudinal and comparative approaches to validate these findings and explore how different leadership frameworks can be integrated to support sustainable educational excellence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kepemimpinan teman sebaya, lingkaran pertemanan, dan tingkat disiplin siswa di SMP Global Surya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi pada 60 responden siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan teman sebaya dan lingkaran pertemanan berada pada kategori tinggi dan memiliki hubungan positif signifikan dengan disiplin siswa. Aspek kepemimpinan yang menonjol adalah partisipasi dan dukungan sosial, sedangkan keteladanan dan kredibilitas sosial perlu diperkuat. Disiplin siswa juga tergolong tinggi, khususnya pada kepatuhan terhadap aturan sekolah dan tanggung jawab belajar. Analisis regresi berganda mengungkapkan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut bersama-sama menjelaskan 62% variasi disiplin siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan pelatihan kepemimpinan teman sebaya yang fokus pada etika dan kredibilitas sosial serta peningkatan lingkungan pertemanan yang mendukung kedisiplinan.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada pelatihan guru-guru SMK dalam mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis model inkuiri terpadu dan pendekatan saintifik. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan guru dalam mengembangkan modul yang inovatif dan memenuhi tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka serta kebutuhan siswa abad 21. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui lokakarya dan pendampingan intensif yang meliputi penyampaian materi, persiapan praktikum, simulasi penerapan, dan umpan balik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang modul pembelajaran yang kontekstual, kreatif, dan aplikatif, sehingga mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mendalam dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMK.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pelatihan kepemimpinan guru berbasis model Five Practices and Ten Commitments of Exemplary Leadershipmerupakan upaya strategis untuk mengembangkan kapasaitas kepemimpinan pendidik melaui penerapan prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan yang visioner, insspiratif, kolaboratif, dan beroirentasi pada perubahan positif di lingkungan sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kepemimpinan guru dan kepala sekolah melalui pelatihan berbasis model Five Practices and Ten Commitments of Exemplary Leadership yang dikembangkan oleh Kouzes dan Posner. Program dilaksanakan di SMKS Al Hikmah Kabupaten Lampung Tengah dan melibatkan guru SMA/SMK sekitar sebanyak 25 kepala seklah dan guru. Pendekatan pelatihan dirancang partisipatif, reflektif, dan aplikatif dengan menekankan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman (experiential learning), peer coaching, dan penyusunan action plan. Kegiatan mencakup tahap identifikasi kebutuhan, pelaksanaan workshopinteraktif, praktik lapangan, serta evaluasi dan refleksi hasil pelatihan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep teacher leadership, kemampuan komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan manajemen konflik. Program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan motivasi, kolaborasi antarguru, serta penguatan kepemimpinan instruksional berbasis nilai dan etika. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Guru, Five Practices and Ten Commitment, Pengembangan Profesional.  ABSTRACT Teacher leadership training based on the Five Practices and Ten Commitments of Exemplary Leadership model is a strategic effort to develop educator leadership capacity by implementing visionary, inspiring, collaborative, and positive change-oriented leadership principles in the school setting. This community service activity aims to improve the leadership capacity of teachers and principals through training based on the Five Practices and Ten Commitments of Exemplary Leadership model developed by Kouzes and Posner. The program was implemented at SMKS Al Hikmah in Central Lampung Regency and involved teachers from surrounding high schools/vocational schools. The training approach was designed to be participatory, reflective, and applicable, emphasizing experiential learning, peer coaching, and developing action plans. Activities included needs identification, interactive workshops, field practice, and evaluation and reflection on training results. Results showed an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of teacher leadership, communication skills, collaboration, and conflict management. This program had a positive impact on increasing motivation, collaboration between teachers, and strengthening value- and ethics-based instructional leadership. Keywords: Teacher Leadership, Five Practices and Ten Commitments, Professional Development.

Abstract

Abstract. Kesenjangan pembangunan desa dalam pelibatan teknologi masih terjadi salah satunya di provinsi lampung. Perancangan manajemen desa melibatkan teknologi informasi menjadi salah satu solusi yang dianggap tepat. Mengingat sarana prasaran yang memadai ditambah dengan pengetahuan sumber daya manusia yang adimiliki. Sehingga jika padukan dapat menjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemajuan sebuah lembaga. Tujuan dari pelatihan adalah memberikan pelatihan manajemen website desa sebagai pusat informasi dan edukasi masyarakat. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi pelatihan secara teori maupun praktik langsung kepada perangkat desa perwakilan. Pelatihan meliputi perancangan manajemen data dan informasi, sehingga memberikan informasi dan edukasi kepada masyarakat yang lebih terorganisir dengan baik. Selain itu digitalisasi dalam hal pelayan dan informasi yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini melalui ceramah, simulasi, diskusi dan praktik, dan evaluasi. Tahap pertama pemaparan tentang manajemen web desa, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan praktik dan pendampingan. Hasil dari pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan perangkat desa dalam memanajemen website sebagai pusat informasi resmi dan edukasi masyarakat desa. Dengan adanya manajemen yang baik melalui website maka hal ini dapat meningkatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat desa meningkat sebesar 29,75%.

Abstract

Abstract. Pengelolaan dokumen secara manual masih menjadi sarana utama dalam melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya pemerintah desa, padahal saran dan prasaran yang diberikan oleh pemerintah pusat sudah memenuhi pengelolaan dokumen yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi maupun internet. Pelibatan teknologi tersebut memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam pelayanan publik, sistem digitalisasi mampu meberikan kemudahan dalam kecepatan serta keamanan data. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan wawasan dan membekali pengetahun masyarakat secara teori maupun praktik dalam pengelolaan dokumen secara digital. Pengelolaan data secara digital memudahkan dari berbagai aspek palayanan yang diuraikan dalam pengabdian ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini pelatihan akan dilakukan melalui metode ceramah, simulasi, diskusi dan praktik, dan latihan, tahap pertama pemaparan tentang pengelolaan dokumen seara digital, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan praktik dan pendampingan. Evaluasi dilakukan diawal dan diakhir kegiatan pelatihan, selanjutnya hasil tes dianalisis dan diperoleh ketercapaian pengabdian. Hasil pelatihan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan perangkat desa, rata rata peningkatan diperoleh sebesar 31,7%. Seluruh peserta mampu melakukan pengelolaan dokumen secara digital yang melibatkan aplikasi perangkat lunak dan perangkat keras, serta mampu menjalan salah satu ataupun secara kombinasi. Sebagai dampaknya adalah masyarakat memperoleh manfaat pelayanan yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Salah satu kecamatan dipilih nantinya menjadi contoh bagi desa lain yang akan melakukan pengelolaan digitalisasi dokumen. Abstract

Purpose: This paper aims at examining how principal leadership styles are associated with leadership outcomes in an Indonesian school context. Research Methodology: Survey data were collected using MLQ 5X-Short and a demographic questionnaire completed by 475 teachers in 36 junior high schools in the Province of Lampung, Indonesia. With the help of SPSS version 22, the collected data were initially analyzed using descriptive statistics and then Pearson product-moment correlation. Results: Results show that transformational and transactional leadership styles are positively and significantly associated with the leadership outcomes, but the laissez-faire leadership style is negatively and significantly associated with the leadership outcomes. Limitations: This paper used a quantitative research approach and is acknowledged for being limited to using the survey questionnaire so that it could not explain why and how principal leadership styles affect such leadership outcomes. Contribution: This paper theoretically and practically contributes to the body of knowledge, particularly concerning leadership styles and their outcomes.
