AbstractThis study focuses on the integration of social entrepreneurship values in Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Indonesia. Aiming to assess the factors influencing the success as well as the challenges, this study emphasizes how BUMDes strategically target social problems including poverty, resource access, and economic inequality to generate positive socio-economic outcomes for the community. However, limited resources and inadequate managerial capacity are widely reported to hinder their effectiveness. This qualitative research collected the data from observation and interviews with respondents managing the BUMDes. The analysis of qualitative data from six BUMDes in Java reveals that government support, partnerships, and active community involvement are essential to address the challenges. The findings suggest that with better strategic support and community collaboration, BUMDes have the potential to achieve their social goals and support local economic resilience, making a substantial contribution to sustainable rural development in Indonesia.

Melemahnya karakter peserta didik saat ini antara lain ditandai dengan banyaknya kasus kekerasan, perundungan, hilangnya sopan santun dan rasa hormat terhadap guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui relevansi konsep pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara terhadap penanaman karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur.Data penelitian merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh daribuku, laporan penelitian, artikeljurnal, dan sumber lain yang relevan. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara yang paling relevan dalam penanaman karakter di lingkungan pendidikan di Indonesia yaitu konsep tentang keteladanan, Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladha. Guru sebagai teladan utama dalam dunia pendidikan memiliki peran besar dalam membimbing peserta didik melalui contoh perilaku yang positif. Implementasi konsep Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladhadalam penanaman karakter peserta didik telah dilakukan di beberapa sekolah di Indonesia. SMPN 3 Banguntapan dengan budaya jawanya, MI Pelangi Alam Ponorogo dengan pembiasaan yang telah dicantumkan di dalam modul (based by modul), serta MAN Kota Batu dengan penanaman karakter religius dan nasionalis yang diintegrasikan dalam mata pelajaran. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan yaitu bagi sekolah lain yang akan mengimplementasikan penanaman karaktter dapat menyesuaikan dengan budaya dan kearifan lokal yang masih terjaga di masing-masing wilayah. Seluruh elemen sekolah harus bersama-sama menyukseskan penanaman karakter melalui konsep keteladanan, baik kepala sekolah, guru, maupun staf/karyawan.

This paper reviews on strategies or approaches made by Community Learing Centers/CLC teachers to teach and internalize the knowledge about Indonesian values and cultures for Indonesian students who are born and raised overseas particulary Indonesian students in CLCs in Sabah, Malaysia. Knowledge of Indonesian values and culture will encourage students to enhance their sense of nationalism and help them to identify themselves as Indonesians.This paper aims to examine the strategies or approaches of CLC's teachers in enhancing cultural and civic literacy among their students of Indonesian nationals. This paper untilizes qualitative method through interviews and close observations of teachers of CLCs in applying their strategies to educate their students in regarding their Indonesian identity. After obtaining the data, the analysis is conducted through the interactive analysis particularly under the scope of Miles and Huberman's theories. Further examination founds that strategies employed by CLC teachers to enhance cultural and civic literacy for their students are including habituation and implementation of integrated learning with Indonesian cultural elements, oral or written, through flag ceremonies, video screenings, pictures, books, festivals, extracurricular activities, and competitions.

Evaluation of educational programs is very important to determine the success of program implementation and determine future improvements. Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) provides opportunities for all teachers in Indonesia to continue learning and developing their competencies, whenever and wherever teachers are. This study aims to examine and analyze in depth the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform for the social studies learning process in grade VIII Junior High School in South Pontianak District. This type of research uses the Mixed Methods Explanatory Design research method. A combination of quantitative research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through expert-validated questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study found that the benefits of PMM felt by 85.71% of social studies teachers of SMP Negeri se Kecematan Pontianak Selatan were to obtain inspiration, reference and understanding in preparing for the social studies learning process. Teachers are motivated to continue learning, teaching and creating through the built environment at PMM. So, the results of this evaluation are expected to be the basis for further improvement and development in an effort to improve the effectiveness of the PMM program in the future.

In the era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, local culture is increasingly marginalized, leading to a diminished understanding among students. To address this issue, the West Nusa Tenggara Education and Culture Office introduced the Saturday Culture program to enhance students' cultural knowledge. This study aims to examine the program's implementation in senior high schools in Mataram City, using structural functionalism theory to explore the interactions within the school system that influence the program. Employing a quantitative descriptive method, the research involved 86 high school teachers selected through accidental sampling. Data collection was conducted via questionnaires distributed using Google Forms, and the analysis utilized descriptive statistical methods. The findings show that the program's overall implementation is rated as good, though certain areas require improvement. From the structural functionalism perspective, the program successfully fulfills four main functions: adaptation, goal achievement, integration, and latency maintenance. These outcomes demonstrate the program's ability to meet environmental demands, achieve educational goals related to culture, and foster student's character development. This research contributes to academic and cultural studies by highlighting the necessity for ongoing enhancement and stronger stakeholder collaboration to ensure the program's long-term effectiveness and sustainability.

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 changed the paradigm to student-centered and accelerated the development of digital learning media. YouTube video media is a digital technology learning media that allows interesting, concrete, and contemporary social studies learning by Generation Z. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of YouTube video media in social studies learning to increase student learning motivation. The research methodology used a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest and posttest design. The population in this study amounted to 75 students from class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Badau, Belitung District, Indonesia. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling. A total of 50 students were selected using cluster random sampling. The experimental group (n=25) was given YouTube video media learning, while the control group (n=25) was given conventional media in image media. The research instrument was a validated learning motivation questionnaire. Hypothesis testing was carried out using t-tests, while the increase in learning motivation used the N-gain test. The research findings showed an increase in student learning motivation. The experimental group showed a higher increase in learning motivation than the control group. This shows that YouTube video media in social studies learning effectively increases students' learning motivation. The implication of this research shows that YouTube video media has the potential to increase learning motivation in social studies learning. Further research on the effectiveness of YouTube video media can help social studies teachers use YouTube optimally to increase student learning motivation.

Management of improving teacher performance will be appropriate if it is based on good management, starting from planning, implementation, supervision and evaluation, as well as problems found in management. This journal article is written using quantitative methods by taking sources from articles, journals, and books that have been available that discuss and examine the performance of educators/teachers in schools. Efforts that can be made to improve teacher performance include: a) accepting the presence of teachers; b) giving new teaching assignments in accordance with the fields and competencies mastered by the teacher; c) forming and implementing working groups of teachers in the field of study and solving problems that occur in the classroom. Activities designed by school principals in order to improve teacher performance include: 1) teaching and learning activities in the classroom; teachers' scientific meetings; 3) Teacher creativity competitions; 4) Training to support teachers in completing their duties; 5) Motivational seminars 6) Subject teacher meetings.

In this 4.0 era, the development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) cannot be separated from every area of life. The role of science and technology is to participate in facilitating and building every implementation of the ideals of independence, one of which is in the field of education. This article aims to empower and improve teachers' ability to master Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a support for learning, considering that the limited ability to master technology among teachers in Indonesia is still a problem. The research method used is through literature studies that are conceptual in nature and related to ideas and theoretical studies. The ICT capabilities possessed by teachers will help in the process of creating all the components needed for teaching in order to improve the quality of learning in the era of globalization. This article uses a literature study method through collecting library data to produce an idea or thoughts. It is hoped that this article can be an effort to improve teachers' ability to utilize technology in their role as educators, because massive technological advances would be a shame if they were not balanced with the readiness of human resources regarding mastery skills.

Penelitian dengan judul Pemahaman Edukasi Transportasi sebagai Upaya Pendidikan Karakter Siswa SMP Insan Cendekia Turi bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi para siswa SMP Insan Cendekia Turi tentang tata tertib serta etika berlalu lintas. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang tata tertib dan etika berlalu lintas yang diperoleh melalui kegiatan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa-siswi sebagai upaya mengurangi jumlah pelanggaran lalu lintas sehingga dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena SMP Insan Cendekia Turi memiliki lokasi yang dekat dengan jalan raya akan tetapi tidak terlalu banyak angkutan umum yang dapat diakses siswa dari rumahnya sehingga banyak siswa yang harus membawa kendaraan bermotor ke sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan simulasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 siswa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa hasil tes penguasaan materi, serta hasil angket kepuasan pelaksanaan didominasi oleh siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori baik, sehingga dapat dikatakan cukup berhasil. Hal di atas menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan siswa terhadap materi transportasi dapat dikatakan baik karena didominasi oleh siswa yang memiliki skor hasil tes dalam kategori tinggi sebanyak 27 siswa dan yang memperoleh skor hasil tes dengan kategori rendah hanyak 10 siswa saja. Hal di atas menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap kegiatan penelitian dapat dikatakan baik karena didominasi oleh siswa yang memberi skor angket dalam kategori tinggi sebanyak 38 siswa dan yang memberi skor hasil angket dengan kategori rendah hanyak 5 siswa saja.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap keadaan sosiologis mantan buruh migran yang diakibatkan adanya kasus trafficking di Desa Nomporejo, Galur, Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari 13 orang yaitu: mantan buruh migran dan tokoh masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis interaktif Milles & Huberman yang langkah-langkahnya meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penyimpulan data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dampak trafficking di Desa Nomporejo, Galur, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta yaitu timbulnya, Timbulnya Rasa Takut dan Cemas yang Menetap pada korban trafficking, Munculnya kasus perceraian di dalam rumah tangga koban trafficking, Dan munculnya pengaruh buruk terhadap perkembangan pendidikan
