Abstract

PT Pertamina Terminal LPG Tanjung Sekong is a company engaged in petrochemicals, more specifically engaged in the management of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) terminals in Tanjung Sekong, Merak, Banten. The company is a subsidiary of PT Pertamina International Shipping and has been operating since April 2012. Currently, the increase in gas demand in Indonesia is increasing, it means that the Indonesian people still need gas. In this case, PT Pertamina Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal has a problem with delays in loading and unloading ships in supplying Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The delay was triggered by several factors, including administrative constraints, bad weather, and too many ship waiting lists. This study used a fishbone diagram method, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and 5 Whys to identify the root of the problem. The results of the analysis show that improved ship arrival time predictions, more effective administrative handling, and better weather monitoring can reduce LPG gas supply delays. Recommendations include the development of a time-of-arrival prediction system, increased awareness of the accuracy of administrative data, and cooperation with the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) for better weather monitoring.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is an activity to collect data and information about students' learning abilities, to assess the extent to which the learning program has been running, and also as a tool to determine whether educational goals and learning processes in developing knowledge have progressed as they are. Science assessments can be carried out in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. This assessment provides space for students who tend to have non-academic weaknesses in science subject skills. This research was used to obtain information regarding the scope of evaluation of junior high school students' science learning. The review method was chosen to obtain research journals with the keywords scope of evaluation of junior high school science learning on reference sources Google Scholar, Elsevier, Science Direct, research gate, and publish or parish. 25 journals were reviewed based on author (year), research design, scope of evaluation, and findings. The results of the review show that the scope of learning evaluation can be carried out based on the context that wants to be assessed, such as the scope of the cognitive domain, affective domain and psychomotor domain. The scope of learning evaluation in the cognitive domain can be in the form of observation and understanding, the affective domain can be in the form of responses given by students as long as the teacher provides knowledge and the psychomotor domain in the form of skills assessment rubrics such as doing practical work after being given theory by the teacher.

Abstract

Education today has led to the importance of 21st century learning. The 21st century directs life to four pillars, namely learning to know, learning to do, learning to be and learning to live together. The four pillars contain specific skills to be developed in the learning process such as communication skills, critical thinking, collaboration, creation and innovation, information literacy, and problem solving. This study reviews the importance of the role of 21st century learning in the inquiry based learning model as a learning model that can solve the challenges of the 21st century. Based on the results of the analysis of the articles on the inquiry based learning model, it was found that the inquiry based learning model is one of the learning models that can be used in the 21st century to guide students to achieve the four skills in the 21st century. The inquiry learning model is a learning model that prepares students in situations to conduct their own experiments so that they can think critically to seek and find answers to a questionable problem. Inquiry allows students to have free space for students to learn, but provides clear boundaries of exploration.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to optimize traffic light timing at the Usman Salengke-Poros Malino-K.H. Wahid Hasyim intersection using a graph theory approach. By modeling compatible traffic flows and calculating optimal signal durations, the study seeks to reduce congestion, minimize delays, and improve traffic efficiency. Methodology: This study utilized manual traffic volume data collection methods with direct field observations at the Usman Salengke-Poros Malino-K.H. Wahid Hasyim intersection. It employed Webster's method for optimal cycle calculation and MATLAB software for simulation. Tools included measuring tapes (Stanley), stopwatches (Casio), and data sheets for recording traffic flow. Surveys captured vehicle types and peak hour volumes. Main Findings: The optimal traffic light cycle duration was calculated as 95 seconds, reducing the original cycle time of 128 seconds. Peak traffic volume was observed at 1,383 pcu/hour (Usman Salengke North). The green light duration increased for Usman Salengke North to 39 seconds and for Poros Malino to 28 seconds. Total average vehicle waiting time decreased by 33.3%, with improved throughput by 20%. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces a practical application of graph theory for optimizing traffic light timing, using compatible flow modeling to simplify intersection analysis. Unlike adaptive systems requiring expensive technology, this approach relies on manual traffic data, offering cost-effective solutions. It advances existing knowledge by providing a simplified, scalable method for reducing congestion and enhancing traffic efficiency in urban settings.

Abstract

The study using the geoelectric method produces resistivity values with different color images. Data is displayed in the form of a collection of 1D and 2D pseudosection points which are then processed using Progress and Res2Dinv software. The 1D cross-section results in the appearance of the subsurface structure vertically or shows the depth and thickness of the subsurface layers. The results of Wenner and Schlumberger configuration data processing show that there are differences in resistivity and depth values on each path but have the same lithology. This is because the Schlumberger configuration can only display 1 point of depth vertically, so the data obtained cannot compare the resistivity horizontally. But the advantage of the Schlumberger configuration is that it is capable of displaying a large depth compared to the Wenner configuration so that it is difficult to read a thin layer of this configuration. The Wenner configuration result displays the depth and length of the layer along the track so that the thickness of the layer from the start of the track to the end of the track can be interpreted. The layer which has a small thickness can be identified using the Wenner configuration, but cannot reach any deeper depths.
