Abstract The purpose of this article is to elaborate on the essence of maintaining religious moderation amid the covid pandemic 19. The social-religious approach was conducted by observing the facts that occur in society. The result indicates that moderate priorities in religion during the covid pandemic 19 became a necessity. Consequently, maintaining personal safety and the wider community should become a priority due to the absence of alternative rather than forcing the will to carry out worship in the mosque or in certain places. Islamic law provides rukhsah when the ummah is not in proper conditions to do such rituals like praying in the mosque. On the other hand, people are required to better understand fiqh in the pandemic of Covid 19 by not leaving conventional fiqh. Adapting the religious moderation during or after the covid pandemic 19 becomes a necessity, especially relations between humans by avoiding and blocking the transmission of the virus in various ways. Acceptance of the new habit caused by covid 19 from various aspects, especially the worship habits of the people should be considered. The principle of avoiding harm is more important than carrying out benefits is one of the ways in Islam to maintain religious moderation. The three things that accompany a person when they want to leave the world are debt, will, and inheritance. In accordance with the rules in the text that govern the three problems. A person who wants or dies the top priority is to pay off his debts because the unresolved debt in the world is billed in the afterlife. Islamic inheritance law is a direct expression of sacred texts that are agreed upon. The manifest inheritance of a series of texts of sacred documents and obtaining high priority in its involvement as a fundamental principle phenomenon in the teachings of Islam. Debt should be prioritized rather than will because people who give loans may sue the deceased. While the testament is only giving (tabarru '). Talking about fatwas, it cannot be separated from the authority of the Indonesian Ulama Council in issuing fatwas on the halal and haram of a product. This study employed library research with a siyasa syar'iyyah approach. The results showed that 1) the standards used by Indonesian Ulama Council in determining the halal and haram of a product by taking into account the legal status of the substances used, how to obtain them, how to produce them and how to market them, 2) related to the effectiveness of the inclusion of the halal logo and the existence of a halal certificate on every the product was still low because there were still products that did not have a halal certificate and the inclusion of a halal logo, and 3) the authority of Indonesian Ulama Council in halal certification from a siyasah syar'iyyah perspective by providing legal considerations among the people, even though it did not have binding legal force. As an implication of this study, it is hoped that there will be aware for the Muslim community to be more careful in consuming a product, especially Muslim business actors in order to understand the importance of halal certificates and the inclusion of a halal logo on each product.
