Abstract

Universities are required to have lecturers who are competent and have good performance. The role of the lecturer is crucial to the success of the Vision, Mission and Goals of the Higher Education. Universities expect their lecturers to have better performance, be more process oriented, more involved in leadership, and more capable in knowledge and competence so as to provide added value to the Higher Education which in the end the Higher Education has competitiveness with other universities. Richard S Wellins (2015:525) argues that engagement is when employees enjoy their work, are satisfied with their work conditions, contribute enthusiastically to meet team targets, organizational goals, and there is a sense of belonging to the company, and are committed to the organization. Gibson et al (2006: 113-117) stated that personality is a relatively stable set of characteristics, tendencies, and temperaments (of individuals) that have been formulated by inheritance and by social, cultural, and environmental factors. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between personality and engagement. Based on the results of the research by testing the hypothesis, it is known that the correlation coefficient between personality and engagement (ry1) is 0.995 with the category having a very high/very strong relationship. The probability value is 0.000 < 0.005, then Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient is significant. Thus, this study confirms that there is a significant relationship between personality and engagement. The diversity in engagement related to personality is reflected in the coefficient of determination of 0.990 or 99.0%, while the remaining 1.0% is influenced by other factors. The results of this study get the equation = -13.659 + 1.047 X1 can be used to predict engagement based on personality scores, it can be predicted that every 1 increase in personality score will increase engagement by 1.047 times at a constant -13,659. Abstract

Abstract The critique of the hadith scholars or what is called the science of jarh wa ta'dil is an effort to maintain the originality of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. There is a diversity of hadith studies in terms of dlabt, tsiqah, etc, even the emergence of some people who dared to make false hadiths (maudlu') and connect it to Rasulullah SAW. for personal and group interests, the hadith scholars make a strict selection of the hadiths that come to them. Abu Bakr as-Siddiq was the first person to test the authenticity of the hadith in the case of grandmother's inheritance. Likewise, Umar bin Khattab tested the originality of the hadith in the hadith of Abu Musa al-Asy'ari by asking for witnesses. Furthermore, the test of the originality of hadith was carried out by the others Sahabah and the Tabi'in by means of criticism of hadith narrators and discussed their credibility and accountability in order to distinguish between true hadith and false hadith. The peak of jarh wa ta'dil development occurred in the 3rd century H. with the emergence of several Muslim figures who were concerned about the studies of jarh wa ta'dil, such as Yahya bin Ma'in, Ali al-Madini, and others.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis efektivitas manajemen supervisi akademik yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam membina kinerja guru di SMP Nahdlatul Wathan Bintan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan supervisi telah disusun secara sistematis dan melibatkan berbagai pihak, namun belum tersosialisasi secara merata. Pelaksanaan supervisi dilakukan secara langsung dengan pendekatan membimbing dan memberikan umpan balik konstruktif. Tindak lanjut supervisi dilakukan melalui pertemuan reflektif dan pembinaan lanjutan, yang berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru. Faktor pendukung supervisi meliputi komitmen kepala sekolah, budaya kolaboratif, dan dukungan eksternal, sedangkan hambatannya antara lain keterbatasan waktu dan resistensi guru. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya supervisi akademik sebagai strategi peningkatan mutu pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan dan berbasis kemitraan.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in the progress of a country because the improvement of human resources depends on education. Communication in science is very important because others will not know what to do or plan without it. The Inside Outside Circle (IOC) model enters the learning process and helps students become more active in class. The role of teachers is very important in achieving learning objectives. The Inside Outside Circle type of cooperative learning that uses small and large circle patterns emphasizes cooperation, discipline, independence, and critical thinking of students. This is one strategy that can be used to achieve these goals. and encourage them to actively participate in the learning process. This study is about the application of the inside outside circle learning model to improve students' critical thinking behavior in Islamic Religious Education subjects, and the subjects of this study are Islamic Religious Education teachers and all students at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative method with an Ethnographic approach. This is a classroom action research with three cycles of two meetings each.And for the data collection technique I use observation, interviews, and documentation. Observation is done by observing the learning that takes place. Compared to previous studies, this study measures students' critical thinking skills and their learning outcomes by using the Inside Outside Circle learning model in Islamic religious education lessons at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. The Inside Outside Circle model is a learning model that utilizes real problems as a basis for students to learn and allows them to improve their ability to construct their own knowledge.

Abstract

Prestasi olahraga dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik cabang olahraga, kemampuan biomotor, teknik, taktik, dan mental, sehingga untuk mengoptimalkan performa atlet diperlukan strategi perencanaan program latihan yang terstruktur, progresif, dan berbasis ilmu pengetahuan serta teknologi, di mana pelatih berperan merancang program latihan cabang olahraga terukur sesuai kebutuhan fisik, jarak, energi, dan tujuan pertandingan, agar mampu meningkatkan kemampuan fisik, teknik, taktik, dan mental atlet secara berkelanjutan, sekaligus meminimalisir risiko cedera, dan karena masih banyak pelatih KONI Kabupaten Nganjuk yang menggunakan metode konvensional berdasarkan pengalaman tanpa pendekatan ilmiah, maka pelatihan penyusunan program latihan berbasis IPTEK perlu diselenggarakan guna meningkatkan kompetensi pelatih dalam merancang program latihan terstruktur untuk mendukung prestasi atlet.Kata Kunci: Program latihan, Periodisasi, cabang olahraga terukur, IPTEK olahraga

Abstract

This Community Service Program (CSP) aims to enhance the skills of lecturers at STAI Hasan Jufri Bawean in entering data into SINTA (Science and Technology Index) and SISTER (Integrated Resource Information System). The background of this activity highlights the importance of accuracy and completeness of data on these platforms for supporting academic careers and institutional reputation. The primary issue addressed is the lack of understanding and skills among lecturers in managing data on SINTA and SISTER and publication strategies for lecturers' work. The program is designed to provide technical assistance and education through three main methods: Socialization and Education, Technical Training, and Individual Assistance. Socialization involves seminars and interactive discussions to improve lecturers' understanding of the significance of both platforms. Technical training includes practical workshops and data entry simulations, while individual assistance offers direct support to address specific challenges. The results of this activity indicate a significant improvement in lecturers' understanding and skills, as well as an enhancement in the quality and accountability of the data produced. For continued effectiveness, it is recommended to implement periodic evaluations and monitoring, as well as a sustainable assistance system.

Abstract

bstract: Olahraga petanque adalah termasuk olahraga baru di Indonesia. Olahraga petanque sangat simple dan mudah dimainkan. Siswa SD dan SMP adalah sasaran yang sangat strategis untuk mengawali dan membina olahraga petanque. Petanque telah berkembang di 34 kabupaten dan kota di Jawa Timur. Namun demikian kabupaten Magetan termasuk salah satu yang belum memiliki organisasi Federasi Olahraga Petanque Indonesia (FOPI) sehingga belum memiliki atlet dan berprestasi dalam cabang olahraga ini. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pelatihan, pendampingan dan evaluasi kompetensi serta desiminasi kegiatan. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah guru PJOK SD, SMP dan SMA Kabupaten Magetan yang teridentifikasi dan ditentukan sebanyak 35 orang. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini adalah 1) Terbentuk sebanyak 8 wadah pembinaan prestasi olahraga petanque di sekolah, 2) Terbentuknya pengurus FOPI Kabupaten Magetan, 3) Sejumlah Atlet binaan FOPI Magetan mengikuti perlombaan Petanque di wilayah Kediri, Ngawi, Nganjuk, dan Trenggalek.

Abstract

Desa Bakung Tumenggungan merupakan salah satu desa yang telah diresmikan menjadi kampung olahraga di kabupaten Sidoarjo. Peresmian tersebut ditujukan untuk melestarikan budaya hidup sehat di masyarakat dengan berolahraga. Namun seiring perkembangan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan olahraga tradisional mulai sepi peminat, sehingga jarang aktivitas olahraga tradisional mulai jarang terlihat. Padahal olahraga tradisional merupakan olahraga yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana untuk menanamkan pendidikan karakter pada anak-anak dalam masa pertumbuhan. Oleh karena itu dengan pengenalan olahraga tradisional, diharapkan dapat menjadi motivasi kepada masyarakat untuk terus hidup aktif dan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan, apalagi di Desa Bakung Tumenggungan merupakan salah satu desa yang telah diresmikan menjadi kampung olahraga. Selain itu dengan pengenalan olahraga tradisional di masyarakat, hal ini juga termasuk dalam melestarikan budaya bangsa sekaligus ikut melaksanakan program pemerintah menuju Indonesia sehat 2045. Kata Kunci: Olahraga Tradisional, Kampung Olahraga, Sehat.

Abstract

Pain is the most common symptom of sports injuries. Studies suggest that sports massage and or cold-water immersion may improve pain. This study aimed to synthesize findings from previous research on sports massage and cold water immersion for pain treatment in athletes. Relevant article search method using the Garuda database, Onesearch, and Google Scholar originating from sinta 2 - 3 indexed journals with the keywords "Cold Water Immersion" + "Sports Massage Technique" + Pain." Article searches started from 2017 to 2022; literature analysis used PRISMA guidelines, and feasibility assessments used JBI critical assessment. Five articles were included in the literature review. Cold water immersion and sports massage techniques significantly affect the treatment of muscle pain. These two alternative interventions have been proven to alleviate the effects of muscle pain and speed up the healing process for athletes who experience muscle pain problems.

Abstract

Tracer Study (TS) is an effective media used to track the absorption of alumni of a university in the world of work and become an illustration of the existence of a university. The purpose of this study was to obtain alumni data for the 2019 and 2020 graduate years. This research was a descriptive quantitative type which aims to provide an overview of the current situation and work of alumni. The instrument used in this research is the google form which consists of two types of open and closed questionnaires. The sample of this research was alumni of the Faculty of Sports Science and will be mapped for each generation of alumni. The sampling technique used is quota with a target number of 300 alumni. Data analysis was carried out to produce outputs according to the research objectives, namely calculating the average value of the percentage and probability of each answer scale in the questionnaire. The conclusion was that from 710 total alumni of 2019 and 2020 graduates who have filled 310 alumni which were divided into three study programs, namely PENJAS 73 alumni from a total of 271 graduates, PKO as many as 132 alumni from 225 graduates and IKOR 105 alumni from 214 graduates. Meanwhile, those who have not filled out the PENJAS study program are 198 alumni, PKO 93 alumni and IKOR 109 alumni. As many as 41, 47% of alumni who got a job before graduating from work and 47.49% after graduating from work. The waiting period for alumni to get a job was only before 3 months after graduation with a percentage of 62%. The majority of 2019 and 2020 FIO graduates found jobs in private companies with a percentage of 40.14%.
