Abstract

EF Education First, in its English Proficiency Index, shows data on the low interest in learning English among Indonesian students. Learning English is considered difficult because the material is quite extensive and the reading material is quite difficult. The use of social media is one of the factors that influence students' interest in learning English. This article aims to determine the effect of using social media on interest in learning English. This study uses a literature review approach, namely collecting references, reviewing theories, and analyzing the object being studied. Data were reviewed from all articles or journals published within the last 5 years. The results of this study indicate that the use of information technology, especially social media, can bring positive value if students can use these facilities for more positive things, for example, to increase knowledge, as a means of communication and also as a means of promoting something. The positive impact of students when using social media is to make social media a learning tool, especially language learning. Social media has a positive effect when social media such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok are used as learning media; for example, it is used in making videos which can improve pronunciation and can package interestingly learning English. Thus, students' interest in learning English will increase.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, learning was carried out online (in the network), so after the Covid-19 pandemic, learning was carried out again offline. The 2013 curriculum has changed to become an independent curriculum, namely a curriculum whose learning methods refer to the aptitude and interest approach. Students can choose what subjects they want to learn according to their passion. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of the independent curriculum which is carried out in SMKN 2 Cirebon schools. From research at SMKN 2 Cirebon. This study used a qualitative method, data collection was carried out by means of two designs, namely interviews and library research (literature review method). The author found that the concept and application of the independent curriculum went well in accordance with applicable policies and procedures such as providing ATP, TP, and teaching module formats to teachers, and one of the implementations of the independent curriculum for the learning process in class was the use of digital-based.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the historicity of the emergence of the SaHal method, the advantages and disadvantages of applying the SaHal method in learning the Qur'an, and the effectiveness of applying the SaHal method in maintaining Al-Qur'an memorization. The method in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data obtained by the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained: The history of the founding and emergence of the SaHal method was inspired by a founding figure of the 2 largest Islamic boarding schools in Kuningan, namely the Husnul Khotimah and al-Multazam Islamic Boarding Schools, namely Mr. KH. Sahal Suhana, S.H. The advantages of the SaHal method: (1) the SaHal method is easy to practice, (2) the SaHal method increases the ability to memorize the Qur'an (3) the SaHal method has a standardized curriculum (4) the SaHal method is arranged systematically. The disadvantages of the SaHal method :(1) Get bored quickly because of monotonous learning. (2) Not yet familiar in society. (3) For children who are not active will be increasingly left behind. (4) Not yet standard ISBN. (5). Students with low IQ take a very long time to complete memorizing the Koran. The effectiveness of the SaHal method in maintaining Al-Qur'an memorization at STIQ al-Multazam Kuningan, West Java, is with time consistency in repeating deposits (murojaah) and limiting organizational agendas, especially external organizations. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan sejarah munculnya metode SaHal, kelebihan dan kekurangan penerapan metode SaHal dalam pembelajaran al-Qur'an, dan efektifitas penerapan metode SaHal dalam menjaga hafalan al-Qur'an. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh: Sejarah berdirinya dan munculnya metode SaHal diilhami oleh seorang tokoh pendiri 2 pondok pesantren terbesar di Kuningan yaitu Pondok Pesantren Husnul Khotimah dan al-Multazam yaitu Bapak KH. Sahal Suhana, S.H. Kelebihan metode SaHal: (1) metode SaHal mudah dipraktikkan, (2) metode SaHal meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur’an (3) metode SaHal memiliki kurikulum yang terstandar (4) metode SaHal disusun secara sistematis. Kelemahan metode SaHal: (1) Cepat bosan karena pembelajaran yang monoton. (2) Belum akrab di masyarakat. (3) Bagi anak yang tidak aktif akan semakin tertinggal. (4) Belum standar ISBN. (5). Siswa dengan IQ rendah membutuhkan waktu yang sangat lama untuk menyelesaikan hafalan al-Qur'an. Menghafal al-Qur’an dengan metode SaHal sangat membantu proses pencapaian target dan peningkatan kualitas hafalan bagi siswa. Metode SaHal menggunakan skema 212, artinya setiap diperoleh 2 halaman hafalan, sebelum menambah 1 halaman setoran baru, otomatis 2 halaman hafalan sebelumnya disimpan kembali. Hal inilah yang membuat siswa tidak terburu-buru dalam mencapai 30 juz tetapi lebih mengutamakan kualitas hafalan daripada kuantitas hafalan itu sendiri. Beberapa upaya agar hafalan siswa tetap efektif adalah (1) manajemen waktu, (2) konsistensi (Istiqamah), (3) motivasi diri; (4) tidak terlibat dalam kegiatan organisasi, dan (5) mengurangi penggunaan gadget.

Abstract

Stres akademik merupakan respon siswa terhadap berbagai tuntutan akademik yang siswa harus belajar mengenai hal biologis, psikologis, dan sosial yang melebihi batas kemampuan yang ditandai dengan reaksi fisik, emosional, mental dan perilaku. Salah satu teknik untuk membantu siswa dalam mengurangi stres akademik adalah teknik konseling 'instruksi diri' dan self-efficacy. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui teknik self instruction dapat mengurangi stres akademik, (2) Untuk mengetahui teknik self efficacy dapat mengurangi stres akademik. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah pnelitian kualitatif. Dilakukan survey pada siswa dan guru di SMA NU Lemahabang. Pada penelitian ini kedua teknik ini memiliki peran penting pada stres akademik siswa SMA. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dimana Teknik self-instruction memiliki pengaruh efektivitas yang penting bagi siswa dan ditunjukkan dengan baik pada prilaku dan pemikiran siswa. Teknik ini bisa digunakan sebagai komponen dalam sebuah strategi untuk menghilangkan stres akademik.  Setelah siswa memiliki kesadaran untuk memperbaiki diri karena masalah yang mereka hadapi dan berdampak negatif. Guru akan mengajarkan siswa bagaimana mereka berpikir, merasa, dan bertindak, dan bagaimana hal itu dapat mempengaruhi orang lain melalui pendekatan diri. Sedangkan teknik self-efficacy yang menggunakan teknik permodelan dapat membuat efikasi diri semakin meningkat. Dan siswa akan menjadi lebih terampil serta berfikir positif pada setiap tindakan yang akan diambil.

Abstract

Overview Puberty is a time of self-discovery and they always want to learn new things. All of this is supported by increasingly sophisticated technology and many accessible applications that help you gain new knowledge, such as YouTube videos from your website. This study aims to help level B2 children enter puberty through the media YouTube. This study uses a qualitative and descriptive method. The results of the survey are that Arabic teachers consider the results of this survey when teenagers around the village of Karyamulya in the Cirebon Regency Data obtained from phenomena occurring in the field can be used in the form of conversation results between the speaking partner and the speaking partner. Data were obtained from a case study of a teenager living near the researcher's residence with conditions such as entering adolescence, owning a smartphone, and using YouTube as a learning tool and entertainment.

Abstract

The extensive mandate of the ministry of religious affaires to manage various non-religious majors has demanded Islamic higher educations to have each distinctive scientific building in the process of formulating the integration of science and religion. This study aims to analyze the development of the concept of integration of science and Islam that has been formulated in the IAIN Cirebon. Qualitative research with literature study showed the existence of the Muhsin Sejati concept was taken as a scientific integration icon, along with several other derived concepts, such as Jembatan Ilmu, the complementary inclusive paradigm, mata ilmu and blended theory. Unfortunately, the theorization of the concept of integration did not develop significantly, stagged in 2015. This was because the concept of Muhsin Sejati and its derivatives had not been legally ratified formally in Rector’s policy, nor was it followed up on the cabinet leadership policy afterwards. Besides scientific exclusivity, thought, personal background and primordialism still dominate in the campus atmosphere.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has a multidimensional impact, including threatening family resilience. Psychological pressure, as well as an increase in the burden of household domestic work due to concentrated activities (work, school) at home, can give rise to family conflicts that lead to domestic violence and divorce. This study aims to offer a Mubadalah concept as a perspective and methodology in building family resilience. The results show that (1) Mubadalah is a perspective of reciprocity between men and women in carrying out their gender roles both in the domestic and public area so that one does not hegemonize over another but a relationship that supports, cooperates, and helps each other; (2) Mubadalah can be a method of reading texts and contexts around family issues; and (3) Mubadalah is an Islamic moderating perspective between gender and patriarchal regimes. This perspective allows for a balanced relationship and partnership between the two sexes and is not just a transformation of thoughts from patriarchy to matriarchy. Through approach a companionship and non-hierarchical relationship between family members, family resilience can be built.

Abstract

The teachings of Sufism play an essential role in balancing human life. Sufism can practically be the driving force to provide peace, coolness, and friendliness to create religious and social harmony. This study aims to explain the values of religious moderation education reflected in the concepts of wahdat al-Wujud and wahdat asy-Syuhud. This study used qualitative methodology with a literature approach. The primary sources are taken from two books: wahdat al-Wujud 'Inda Ibn Arabi by Abdul Karim Ibn Abdul Jalil and Ibn al-Faridh wa al-Hubb al-Ilahi by Muhammad Mustafa Hilmi, while the secondary ones are references taken from journals, books, and other writings that explain Islamic moderation, philosophical Sufism, and educational values. The results showed that the concept of monotheism carried by Ibn Arabi’s wahdat al-Wujud and Ibn al-Faridh’s wahdat asy-Syuhud, in the context of the issues of religious moderation, does not only discuss a single divinity, but it also offers five ideas: (1) equality of relationship between people, (2) human rights, (3) tolerance in religious plurality, (4) harmony in religious life, and (5) values of Islamic moderation Education.

Abstract

Like electricity that has been cut off, the world of education in Indonesia hasbeen out since the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic. Face-to-face conventionallearning is being replaced by technology. Teachers who are used to learning activitiesthat get students used to attending class now have to adapt to an all-digital life. Thepurpose of this research was to find out how to elaborate on the work ethic of teachersduring the new normal period at Junior High School Klangenan 2. In addition, this studyalso aims to explore what the teachers efforts are in improving the disciplinary characterof students at Junior High School Klangenan 2. This research used a qualitative researchmethod using a qualitative descriptive research design. The data that has been collectedis then analyzed by reducing, displaying, and providing conclusions. The results of thisstudy are that the work ethic of teachers at Junior High School Klangenan 2 can beassessed through interpersonal skills, initiative, and reliability. Meanwhile, the effortsmade by the teacher to improve the disciplinary character of students can be applied bygiving praise, gifts, reprimands, and sanctions

Abstract

Jean piaget dan Al-Ghazali merupakan dua tokoh Psikologi perkembangan yang berpengaruh, keduanya memiliki keunikan tersendiri dalam mengemukakan pendapat tentang psikologi perkembangan. Baik makna maupun tahapan tahapan perkembangan.tentu juga banyak persamaan yang memiliki titik temu dari pemikirannya. Perbedaan pandangan itu dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang pendidikan dan dasar argumentasi yang digunakan, jean piaget dikenal sebagai tokoh barat sedangkan Al-Ghazali dikenal sebagai seorang tokoh muslim yang meletakan dasar pemikirannya pada wahyu / Nash Alquran. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengkaji dan membahas tentang psikologi perkembangan yang dikemukakan oleh piaget dan Al-Ghazali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui kajian pustaka. Studi Pustaka (Library Research) merupakan yaitu metode dengan pengumpulan data dengan cara memahami dan mempelajari teori –teori dari berbagai literature yang berhubungan dengan penelitian yang diperoleh dari jurnal, buku, dan Sumber lainnya yang dapat menunjang kontruktifitas keterangan yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, komparatif, analitik, yaitu menjelaskan, membandingkan dan menganalisis pemikiran Jean Piaget dan Al-Ghazali secara sistematis. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Perkembangan kognisi pada manusia menurut jean Piaget terbagi kedalam empat tahapan yakni: sensoris- motoris, pra-operasional, kongkret-operasional, dan formal-operasional. Sedangkan konsep perkembangan kognisi pada manusia menurut Al-Ghazali Terbagi Menjadi empat tahapan yaitu al- ‘aql al-hayulani, al-‘aql bi al-malakat, al-‘aql bi al- fi’il, dan al-‘aql al-mustafad.
